• Michele (3/5): - Close to train station Mold in shower, musty, really hot in room and hallway, no way to turn the heat off.
• Christine (6/5): The staff were very friendly and helpful, and we did enjoy our stay. - Would have been nice to have a hot breakfast, but what we had was fine. Only one chair and it was broken with spring sticking up on on side, in a twin room, no bedside lamp. Had to have window open all time the radiator couldn't turn off.
• Alison (2/5): Toilet blocked that was not dealt with until 2nd night. Not ideal. Bed comfy. - Good location. Bed Comfortable and breakfast good. Toilet was blocked when we arrived for 2 night stay. Spoke to reception who said it would get fixed. Could not use the toilet and did not want to use the shower. Not idwal when we get up for the loo during the night. Asked again the next day and reception said we did not hand the key in. Surely they would have had spare keys for all rooms. We were nit advised they needed the key. It was fixed on Tuesday night, we left on Wednesday morning.

• Rosemary (1/5): - The only thing good about this place is the central location. First of all the room hadn't been properly serviced with dirty towels and rubbish left in the bin from the previous visitors. The man at reception went to sort the room but it had still not been vaccumed when we were again given access. There were no beside lights, nowhere to hang jackets and no cupboards to put any clothes into . The shower was bad with black mould on the ceiling and on the grout between the tiles, and the room didn't look clean overall. Also there was no hot water. I was embarrassed to have taken my friends to such a dirty, unwelcoming place and I would not recommend this accommodation to anyone.

• ELAINE (2/5): Would not stay here again. - The location was good-center of city so easy walk about town. Obviously didn't read reviews close enough! Room faced the street and was very noisy most of the night with the bars across the street. Heat was not working well. Found a hairbrush on the floor (not mine) and the trash can had not been emptied from the previous guest(s). Lamp by the bed had no knob or switch to turn it on. Toilet didn't always flush easily.

It was very very expensive and NOT good value. Very disappointed to have to pay £102 for such a poor provision 2. No heating in the room as advertised. But staff provided a blow heater. 3. No bedside light which I would expect. 4. Main plug under TV coming away from the wall. 5. No provision of a coffee machine. Staff said there used to be one......so why not a replacement? They are not expensive.

• Malcolm (2/5): - Wasn't much to like unfortunately. Well the room was big enough, but for some reason, no wardrobes. The bathroom is bad ie shower drain wasn't draining away very quick. There's Mould on the ceiling, no plug on.sink. should never being aloud to have this room. Plus a few other things wrong but the bathroom is the main problem.
• Linghui (1/5): The experience was not good, and I felt dizzy while staying there. - Close to the train station. Firstly, there was a strong odor in the room, which made me extremely dizzy. Secondly, the bed sheets and pillows were very dirty. Furthermore, the toilet was prone to clogging, and there were hairs on the toilet faucet. Lastly, the breakfast options were limited, only consisting of bread and nothing else. These aspects need improvement.

Had to carry a heavy suitcase two stories. The room number was missing and directions were not clear. There were other rooms on the same floor and had to try several rooms before I found the room. There is still a lot of work that needs to be completed as I did see that rooms were remodled. TV in room had only one channel as remote did not work. Charging laptop and phone was hard as the plug in is close to the floor so had to get under a table to reach out.

• Charmian (1/5): Not an experience I would like to go through again. - There was nothing in this experience that was likeable. It was a poor experience from start to finish. The rooms booked were not the rooms we were shown. The staff member that greeted us was dressed shabbily and was very disinterested in the situation. She was also vaping throughout the process. One room had mould all through the ceiling of the on suite. I have health issues and this would have had me me quite poorly. The bedding was dirty and the curtains were hanging of the window. the breakfast area was at the reception and clearly the cereal is left out from one morning to another. The coffee pot still had coffee from that morning and this was 6pm the same evening. We asked for another room, however this was no better so we decided to leave and found another hotel near by with much better facilities.
• Samuel (1/5): - Lage Wir haben nach 10 Minuten wieder ausgecheckt. Die Dusche war voller Schimmel, im Bettlaken befanden sich Haare, die Bettwäsche war generell nicht sauber. Auf dem Nachttisch befanden sich Flecken und Reste eines Papier Tuches das eingetrocknet war. Der Teppich war voller Schmutz Partikel und sogar kleine Glas Scherben. Mit der Dame an der Rezeption wollten nicht sprechen, da sie sehr verkatert war und ein ganz schlechten Eindruck hinterliess. Im Korridor roch es stark nach der Chinesen Küche. Der Verdacht auf Bettwanzen hatten wir schlussendlich auch festgestellt.

Shower had black mould round the seals. Doors slamming all night in guest house. Lots of drunk people outside at bus stop directly under the room shouting all night till past 2am. No sleep.

Numbers missing from some of the bedroom doors making it a bit confusing to initially locate your own room. Very small shower.

There was no hot water, mold everywhere, the windows barely close, a bad smell in all three rooms, the shower cabin is falling apart, the floors are uneven, and so are the doors. I would not recommend this to anyone.

Trust me! - The location is great for working in Inverness and I have stayed there before a few years ago, and that time was decent! But this time it was just incredibly bad. And I don’t think my experience was a one off! Hang on and let me compile the list, To be greeted by a slightly inebriated receptionist yelling at 2 other guests trying to check in, claiming they were barred from staying. Sorry I interrupted to get check in! Arriving in my room I discovered there was no soap, not a bubble! Nothing to wash my hands with after using the toilet. Also the postage stamp size, transparent curtains weren’t keeping my modesty in check and they also provided me with the early morning dawn wake up with the sun as the room was east facing and my eyelids are clearly not thick enough!! However the mosquito infestation meant that I’ve been taking antihistamines like smarties ever since I stayed. 40+ bites in total with the windows firmly CLOSED!!! Ear plugs are free, but why do you need them when your room literally faces the rising sun and you’re wake from 4am! Breakfast is a carb fest and nothing available for GF (of which I am now) but would have liked something that wasn’t toastable, prepacked, or laced with sugar! I get a genius discount - this room was over £85 for a single bed at full price in April!

• Jackie (3/5): Probably wouldn't stay there again - Staff very helpful, and the location is perfect for the town centre. There was no parking, but the mult storyi was close and was only £10 for 18 houses. I think £12 got you 24 hours. Bathroom not very clean, the shower didn't work properly,

• Pax (2/5): Dissapointing - Very good location, close to all your busses and good pubs The rooms were dusty and disgusting, they look like they were made up nice, however i woke on the second day and felt terrible. Completed a day tour and came back and looked at ceiling in bathroom (room 24) and it was covered with a layer of black mould. This affected my lungs so bad that I have been suffering the rest of the trip. Will never ever stay again, or reccomend to friends.

• Keith (3/5): Check the price and location meet your expectations. - Breakfast was a great continental selection, and it was a central location. the morning staff were exceedingly good. Pillow were amazing too!! Terrible location for families. sleepless night I'm afraid. The shared bathroom was barely functional, the ensuite only slightly more so. The beds were very well used and awkward for an adult sized person to sleep in. I think the condition and cleanliness was overshadowed by the above. And I'm sure this price bracket, and quality was aimed at a different clientele.
• Chris (7/5): Brilliant value and lovely staff - I booked very last minute and was in a room before 3pm due to the manager and a keen and dilligent lad called Ryan who even helped me to my room with my bags! Perfect location. Im on a tight budget so it was great. Everything was as youd expect for the money. Functional. Clean. People working there were nice. I had free coffee and fruit too. A good sleep. Warm bed. Decent pillows. If ypu pay £40 and conplain about this place your not being considerate to how tgey have to operate on tight finances. Accept it for what it is and be kind. The staff will give you exactly that back. Definately staying again. The bit to plug the kettle in was missing 😂

• Anliker (1/5): Hände weg! - Nichts Das grösste Loch in der Umgebung ist nicht das Loch Ness. Die Unterkunft ist an „unsauberkeit“ kaum zu übertreffen. Im Eingangsbereich waren Blut- und Kotspuren an den wänden bzw. Treppengeländer. Der Korridor zu den Zimmer war ein einziges Schlachtfeld. Es lagen Schrauben und Nägel herum und war einfach nur schmutzig. Im Zimmer waren Tabletten, gebrauchte Taschentücher und weiteren Müll am Boden. Einen Stuhl gabs nicht und die Möbel fallen auseinander. Der Frühstücksbereich wird wohl selten bis nie geputzt, weshalb wir auf das Frühstück auch verzichtet haben (war ehrlicherweise auch nichts aufgedeckt ausser ein paar braune Bananen). Das dieses Hotel überhaupt Zimmer vermieten darf ist eine Frechheit! Lasst die Finger von diesem Ort!

• MARIE-PIERRE (1/5): FUYEZ CET HOTEL, CE N'EST PAS SERIEUX - petit déjeuner : pas de fruits, pancakes et gaufres secs/immangeables chambre : pas de chauffage dans la salle de bain, chauffage et tv ne fonctionne pas dans la chambre (1 à 2 degrés à ce moment là à Inverness, on a eu droit à un petit chauffage mobile bruyant la nuit), une prise sur deux qui ne fonctionne pas, moquette sale non aspirée, pas de tapis de bain dans la chambre (celui fournit ensuite est troué et effiloché), extraction air salle de bain horriblement encrassé et fuite d'eau au plafond de la salle de bain, porte de douche qui ferme mal, rideau partiellement décroché de la fenêtre, pas d'eau chaude au lavabo de la salle de bain. Impossible de changer de chambre cette nuit là car hotel complet. Quartier bruyant. Compliqué de faire fonctionner la douche. Refus catégorique de l'hôtel de dédommager cette nuit là. FUYEZ !!! c'est très cher pour ce que c'est. Aucune indication préalable pour les parkings, pas facile de stationner quand on ne connait pas

• Turbucz (5/5): For our 2 night-stay it was acceptable. - The location was convenient. It's located on the main street from where we could easily catch any bus going to the highlands or back to Edinburgh. Restaurants, shops and pubs where right outside our door or within a 5 minute walk. Our bedsheets had blood stains,the bathroom floor was dirty. The window was so old that you could here all the traffic passing by and the noise coming from the pubs.

And it didnt have a heater as well. The window was kind of broken and hence too much cold air and noise were flowing into the room.
