- Alfonso (8/5): Good stay, not so good breakfast and manager not friendly. - The manager, Courtney, was not welcoming and rarely smiled. I explained to her about our request and all she could answer is she does not get communication with any third party. Better, more selection for breakfast. Also requests should be taken seriously and not with a don't care attitude.

- Jean (10/5): We've stayed there twice now so that I could have cataract surgery nearby. - We especially like the cookies and fruit provided each evening! A special treat! I enjoyed swimming in the pool. The beds were very comfortable! It was wonderfully quiet in our room both times we stayed. We wish it were just a little less expensive. It was a lot to pay on top of surgery. Perhaps there could be a medical discount with proof? We may need to come again for my husband to have surgery on April 3rd at Griffiss Surgical Center.

- Chris (6/5): Stay elsewhere - Staff was friendly and attentive. Check in and out was quick and easy. The hotel is dated and dim. The beds and pillows are hard and uncomfortable. The washroom had pubic hair on the floor and dried urine on the base of the toilet. The room just felt unclean overall. I stayed one night and will never return even if the price was reduced to a level that reflects the condition of hotel.
- Grizelle (1/5): The hotel is dirty, stinky, has horribly uncomfortable beds and breakfast was terrible. - Nothing Their hotel card machine broke so we had to be let into our rooms by the front staff everytime we left our rooms. The rooms were so disgustingly dirty my bed had hair and stains and dirt all over, the room smelled bad, the counters, remote control, and the phone was all sticky. The bed was uncomfortable and I woke up with neck and back pain. The walls were paper thin I could hear the guests in the room next to us talking and coughing since 5am.
- Stephen (5/5): Terrible location, dishonest personnel ruined the stay - The location was the main problem, and the reason for the low rating. I called the hotel in advance and told them that we would be a group of 70 year old men on bicycles, and wanted to be sure they were close to the Erie Canal. They assured me that they were "right next" to the Erie Canal tow path and that many bicyclists stay there. In reality (after a 40 mile bicycle ride from Syracuse), the hotel was almost 5 MILES away from the trail!!! see above

Hit, fresh and decaf coffee great. 1- Check in could have been more welcoming. “Can I have your ID” was the first thing I heard. 2- No body wash left in the shower. 3- One tissue was in the box. That was it.

- Leon (4/5): Bed bugs in Room 334 - The last day of our stay, my Wife discovered little red abrasions on her skin. Since leaving, they`ve spread to different parts of her body. Hands, arms, back and legs from what we assumed to be bed bugs. Now, its 2 days days later and they`ve only intensified. Guess we should`ve figured something was wrong when we were told housekeeping services the rooms "every other day." Excuse me! How can you do such a thing especially if you allow pest in the rooms. We`re very dissatisfied because until spending the weekend there, she`s never had a skin issue of this nature. This says alot about the cleaning...or lack there of at this particular location. We will be contacting them for a refund. This is rediculous and we would not reccommend this location to anyone.
