Ditton (9/5): Love the Lake! - love the lake. The staff is very friendly. It is quiet and feels safe. Wish they had a free breakfast but they did have snacks available. The beds were comfortable but the fold out sofa was not.Rooms are rather small.

RoseAnn (8/5): Last Day in Florida - Average stay, If you traveled 20 years back you may enjoy, this place definitely takes you back to the 80's hotel stay with a real key, small t.v, not much updates, we like the 1 level park rite outside your door hotel, We were a little disappointed looking at the photos before we arrived to actually being there, They really need to update advertisement, says it has a Cafe but owner said its been closed since COVID. So we had to drive back into crazy town of traffic to find dinner. Cheap cost hotel you get what you pay for. I would probably Not stay again.

Janelle (10/5): - We found a hidden gem booking this property. It is nestled in a remote, quite neighborhood away on the lake. It is located about 10 minutes from shopping and dining. The staff was so nice and accommodating. The bed was so comfortable, which is hard to find these days in hotels.

Verified traveler (10/5): Great spot for night - We arrived after hours and called the number posted. There wás no key for the first room we were told but they just gave us another room and it was fine. A bit of road noise but not bad. Rooms are small and cute, comfy bed. The highlight of the location is watching the sunset from the dock!

Charles (8/5): Very good place to stay, relaxing! - The lake was beautiful from their dock, which was well maintained. My wife and I sat out on the dock for about an hour watching the boat traffic and petting the resident cats (one of who later came to visit our room). The facilities date back 60 - 70 years, but are in excellent condition. It is near US 192 and we were in a room facing the highway, but the traffic noise was no problem at all, didn't notice it! Beds were very comfortable and we both slept very well. There was only one USB charging ports built into the rooms and I had to look for it. It was built into the cable TV box. This will not be an issue, if you bring your own! I forgot mine, and only had a cord from my car. So the phone could not be located next to my bed, as I prefer.

It’s also off the main highway so the road to the inn is a quiet road and you’re not suddenly pulling into traffic. Overall great place!

However, the lady at the office was waiting for me, and that was very nice of her. I was traveling from New York, and I was very tired. I don't know what I would have done if she was not there because it was after 10 p.m., and driving to find another hotel would have been difficult.

Freddy (8/5): - This is great place to stay for the night for the price. The property was clean, it’s an inn that’s been updated. Rooms have a kind of Key West look to it inside. You walk around the back side beautiful Lake view, has a cafe that was closed. However it has ann outside porch area facing the Lake. Again this is an older Inn that’s been updated. Not a resort, but nice hidden treasure has a romantic feel to it with Lake Sunset view amazing. Only two minor things. First: Gas station and convenient stores miles away. So make sure you pick up snacks etc. Second: Even though I got checked in fast when I got there which was great. The lobby and cafe was closed after I checked in at 5pm and was closed again at check out, no complementary coffee. Lol… Other than those two things. I have no problem staying there again. Definitely recommend if you’re passing through. Township people were polite and helpful.

Beth (9/5): Old Florida at It's Best - Very well maintained 1950's old Florida motel on a beautiful lake. Very quiet and safe. Lovely sunsets. When the staff saw my husband is in a wheelchair, they up graded our room to one with a larger shower-at no extra charge. Seems family run, and they are invested in high standards. I am leary of "vintage" or "retro", but this really is the best of "retro'! I forgot to ask for the wifi password, and needed more coffee, but the office closed around 5 and opened past my need for coffee. We had a number to call, but someone would have had to take time away to help. A minor inconvenience, but one to be aware of when checking in.

Cozy room with shower no view lake which was a nice view once you went outside and walked there. Mentioned cafe in description. No offer or showing of Cafe. Rooms where capable of adjoining. If you want real quite this is the place! Great place to eat the Cup about 6 miles west on the same road.
Charles (8/5): An older property that shines. - I liked the location as I was attending a meeting in Harmony Fl. The hotel is on the lake which is very nice. The hotel was super clean with all the modern attributes of multi channel TV, internet, hot shower, microwave etc. The hotel was dated in it was probably built in the 50; or 60s. While maintained in an outstanding manner, it showed its age by have curtains that did not block the light very well, noise abatement was not super, and it was very plain. I find it hrd to complain as it is what it is and while an older motel, the managment did a great job of bringing it up to date and keeping it clean. Rated against a modern Holiday Inn, well it was maybe a 5, rated against its peers it was a 10.

Alan (10/5): - This is a very old property of 10 rooms. It has been well taken care of. But its best feature is that it really is along a lake. There is a sitting area by the water and about a 50 foot long dock, all for your use to enjoy do beautiful sunsets.

Gary (8/5): Simple Comfort - Understanding that this is not The Ritz, Lakeside Inn gets a lot right. The room is small but clean and comfortable. Refrigerator worked fine, as did the AC. TV offered a wide range of channels. WIFI signal was strong and consistent. Bed was comfortable, though could have used a few pillow options. A small thing but I liked the power strip on the side of the headboard, so you could plug in your laptop or whatever. OK, usually there's an outlet on the base of the bedside lamp but as I said, this ain't the Ritz....but they came up with a simple, workable solution. Grounds are very nice. Lake is lovely and I enjoyed strolling out to the end of the long dock. This is a nice, quiet spot.
