- Yvonne (10/5): An amazing stay! - Our visit was very short on Martha's Vineyard, only two days and one night for a family of 4. We were very pleased with our stay at Madison Inn. It had a feeling of a bed and breakfast place. It was a cozy, clean, and centrally located inn with an amazing staff. The staff were attentive, helpful, and made us feel welcome. Everything was within a walking distance and easy to explore from where we stayed. Highly recommend this place.

- Verified traveler (10/5): - The Madison is in a perfect location in Oak Bluffs. Walk to anything; food, ferry, beach. The rooms are beautiful and the staff is terrific. There is no on site parking, you have to rely on timing and a bit of luck to find a spot in the municipal lots or on street parking in the area around the Oak Bluffs Police Station. But I had no problem with it at all. Once I was parked I was able to walk to anything quickly and easily. I'll be staying there again!

The Inn was smaller than I expected, the parking is a little issue, but the clean comfortable room, and the very helpful and pleasant staff is what stands out and are superior to any expectations. I would definitely stay there again.

The coffee bar had fruit and breakfast snack bars, as well as freshly baked pumpkin bead each morning. Staff was friendly and helpful. The location in Oak Bluffs was ideal, and it was easy to explore the town on foot from this location.

- JOYCE (10/5): The photo doesn't do it justice - First off, the photo on Hotels.com is not what the Madison Inn looks like - they should get a new photo. This photo makes it look like it's a B&B in a residential area, when in fact it's in the heart of the 'downtown' core of Oak Bluffs, sort of hidden behind tall shrubs and wedged between a restaurant and another business. But.....all that aside, this place was awesome! I would absolutely stay here again. Very clean, very friendly, very accommodating, and the location can't be beat.

- Marla (10/5): Highly recommend!! Loved loved our stay! - I’m very happy with our stay at the Madison Inn. First of all it’s in a great location, it’s clean and a very beautiful place. Second, the hospitality was outstanding. We were treated so well by staff members. There was a place for us to leave our bikes and moped overnight! We were allowed to leave our stuff in a room near the front desk even after we checked out. This was extremely convenient for us as we wanted to enjoy our day fully without worrying about our luggage. Again I can’t stress enough how nice the staff members were and how accommodating they were. Thank you for that! It really made our trip even more amazing.

- TLG (10/5): - Clean, recently renovated, great location. Very helpful at giving directions, providing recommendations, activity listings, etc. Parking can be a bit of a hassle...but that’s true for the entire area.
- LCA (8/5): - The location of the Inn is perfect if you come to the island without a car and want to be near OB. You can walk to the ocean, the OB ferry dock, the historic campground area and great shopping in less than 5 minutes. The rooms are very small - a great place to sleep but not much room for anything else. The Inn has a sweet little porch and the amenities in the lobby/common area are excellent. It is a friendly, lovely space.

The inn was quaint and comfortable, located right in the heart of Oak Bluffs. Within walking distance of everything there. A great romantic getaway.

Very knowledgeable about things to do and where to go. The amenities were great. Fresh baked goods for breakfast, coffee tea and fruit. Ice Cream for an afternoon snack in the lobby. Everything you want to see in Oak Bluffs is a few minutes walk and the bus to get to the other towns on the island are only a block away.

We were able to eat in the living/ dining room area. Being able to access the free coffee anytime was also a plus. It felt more at home . We will definitely going to come back in the summer time.

- Verified traveler (8/5): Good location and a very good price. - On a back street, parallel to Circuit Road, the main shopping street in Oak Bluffs, this little hotel fit the bill. It was affordable, and has nice touches, like snacks and coffee throughout the day. The rooms are cozy and comfortable, and nicely decorated. The bathrooms were very small and cramped and not suitable for anyone with mobility issues--not even a grab bar in the shower. Also, there's no parking, but it was very easy to park around the corner, where there is four-hour parking available, and overnight for free. I recommend this place for those on a budget and with no mobility issues.

Upon arriving, Heather at the front desk was very welcoming and helpful with suggestions for local dining. Compliments to the owner Mary for her lovely decor and homey touches for guests such as goodie baskets in each room, fruit and snack bar and a freezer full of complimentary ice cream sandwiches. My room on the ground floor was bright and airy and even had a view of the Nantucket Sound from the bathroom window. Located adjacent to my room was a private outside area for guests to enjoy a snack or drink and unwind from a day of exploring the Vineyard.
