• pino (4/5): 사진 빨에 덜컥 예약한 것을 후회했습니다 - 3만원대 호텔에서 조식을 기대 했다면 잘못된 거 겠지요. 하지만 좀 실망 스럽긴 했습니다. 위치도 시내 중심으로 나가긴 위해선 택시를 꼭 타야 했습니다. 전체적인 관리가 아쉬웠습니다. 조금만 더 관리를 하면 멋진 요트 호텔이 되었을텐데 많이 아쉬웠습니다. 체크아웃시 신용카드 결재가 안되었습니다. 현금이 없었다면 큰 낭패를 겪을뻔 했습니다.

• Marta (10/5): - Price to quality ratio here is amazing, for me it is a must stay in Yangon, the staff are great and ready to accommodate you with all your needs, there are many restaurants nearby, you have a restaurant with a view of the river on the yacht's 5th floor with very reasonable prices, the room is very comfortable and clean with great amenities, the breakfast was also really good I highly recommend staying Here 👍 Only some minor issues such as no air conditioning in the reception but apart from these small things everything was perfect

Nothing a part from fear of street dogs on the way to main road. Sometime I am afraid to go outside. Those dogs can be actually dagerous whom pass by.

• Alexander (10/5): Exceptional - What a hidden gem and unbeatable value! I did a "staycation" here and absolutely loved it. What a fun and unique property. A lot of thought has clearly been put into refurbishing each room with 1920s decor; there were so many small touches that make you feel like you're sailing on a luxury cruise line from the last century. Riverside rooms have balconies offering great views. There was a bit of mold in the bathroom given the humidity and the fact that you're on a river, but overall I found the room to be super clean and comfortable. "High tea" in the restaurant was a lot of fun, and breakfast was excellent. They have a well-stocked bar, and there are also several other bars within walking distance. Most of all, I just loved wandering the decks of the ship exploring and feeling like I was at sea on a fancy yacht! Thanks for the great stay!

So very nice to sit out on the deck watching the boats drift by as the sun sets. Although the yacht is very old and worn it is still in very good working order. You really get a good sense of how truly luxurious this boat was back in its day. Staff= Excellent! There did not seem to be many guests, so the hotel staff were quick to help out with any requests. Breakfast = OK Basic fried eggs and coffee Room= Perfect! Quiet, comfortable and had a great little balcony on the riverside where I could smoke. For the money, I can not complain about anything. More than fair for the price!

• Travel (1/5): Bad - Location and View They have not clean finished the room and pass that room to me. Smell inside toilet is very bad when I come in rest room in my room. Therefore, I need to flush first before using it. I found out blankets are on chair. I did not realized these blankets were used by previous customers. After that I saw blood spots a lot on blankets when I checked the blankets. That is my first experience for this vintage hotel. At next time visit, my relative found out other people s' falling hair between their blankets and bed sheets and felt itchy whole night. I found out big rat in third floor hall in hotel. My relative and I found out falling hair in our buffet breakfast in their restaurant in fifth floor.

I have 2 little ones, 1 and 3 and am a solo Mummy and they have helped me enormously. I would absolutely recommend this hotel. Would be great to have a little fridge in the room but maybe that's something that will be offered in the future.

• Andrew (10/5): Very highly recommended....obvious choice if are just mooching around historic burma - If you want to stay at a character property in yangon you have to stay here as the strand and the heritage have both been locked up and mothballed. Its a fun stay i really liked it. Photos on booking.com are 100% accurate. Location is fine its a bit of a walk to main part of old colonial yaangon but most people will get a taxi anyway. Overall highly Recommended Added text to review....another recent reviewer said they insisted on cash payment in usd every day and no card payments... well maybe but that doesn't atch my experience, i paid everything in kiat and I also saw another guest pay for drinks on a card The staff to guest ratio is very high...downside of that is you get 5 waiters encircling you while you look at menu which is highly unnerving All the snooker cues need new tips Get a riverside view...city view rooms face a big party/dance bar which plays Burmese House anthems till 2 am

Insistence on paying USD in cash on a daily basis was annoying despite signage everywhere that the took visa. It was hard and expensive to get USD in Myanmar.

Die billigeren Zimmer kann ich nicht beurteilen. Die Premium Deluxe Kabine ist in gutem Zustand, stilecht und luxuriös eingerichtet - viele perfekte Details, gute Betten und der gemütliche Kamin sorgen für tolle Atmosphäre. Der Service ist sehr umsichtig, das Frühstücksangebot groß. Auch wenn das Schiff nicht ganz zentral liegt, ist es eine klare Empfehlung.

There are also con, of course, it is a bit far from downtown and you have to rely on taxi just to get decent food. Then again, given its location on the river, it is a double edge sword. Restaurant menu is nothing to write home about. I wish they offer traditional ethic food than Indian and water down Western food. Staff are friendly once they realize you are a guest.

It probably due to ghe opening of balcony door during day time. Should have asked staff to eliminate the problem during the night as they have electric Mosquito killer. Otherwise, they stay was good. Staff were freindly. Breakfast has enough variety.
• Verified traveler (8/5): Little bit inconvenienced location - It was no walking distance from city and when take a taxi, always extra pay for entry that hotel area. Inside hotel is very nice interior and able to well relax with water from the window. Many choices of buffet breakfast but unfortunately big Chinese group were noisy and made a darty so it was killing our appetite. Hotel staffs were very nice and good help for all.

• Gloria (8/5): - The hotel is not conventional, is decorated as an old ship, it is difficult to move around and taxi drivers don’t know how to go to the hotel because is inside the pier.

• King Lam (10/5): Superb service!! - Amazing service! We checked out and went to Bagan with night bus and we returned on the last day. The hotel allowed us to store our luggage there so we didn't have to carry it all around until late afternoon. They also offer to reserve a grab for us instead of taxi because it's cheaper. The spa was great as well. Staff are all friendly and very helpful overall we very much enjoyed our stay here and would recommend to group travelers. Location is convenient as well and if you're an early bird you can even view the sunrise on the side of the deck!
• Kristie (10/5): Unique experience-- worth a stay! - I really enjoyed my stay at the Vintage Luxury Yacht hotel. I stayed on Christmas Eve and was happy with my Deluxe room with private balcony-- I'd recommend the water view as the city view isn't as attractive. I enjoyed the dinner menu options (bufalino pizza was especially good), but was only moderately impressed with the buffet b'fast-- some items were cold, and the ambience was rather lacking... my room was really spacious and comfortable though, and I really liked the vintage feel of the ship. I'd definitely recommend staying for a night or two!

• Lee Beng (10/5): Great hotel with poor location - great hotel but a bit pricy free shuttle service to pagoda and city centre good breakfast selection great river view from the yacht the only thing is the location - far away from everything,need to grab a taxi to go to anywhere some street food stalls near the port during evening

• Robin (8/5): Intriguing hotel - More Steam Punk than 1920's chic but set in an interesting part of riverside Yangon with both river and road links to downtown. The background music rather too loud and not exactly Palm Court 1920's. Breakfast a bit dried out but other food good. Overall a good experience.

Allowed us a late checkout. Very grateful, Thank you. Shower curtain looking a bit old and weathered. Probably clean but bathroom could do with a refresh.
