- Expedia (2/5): Awful stay - It was one of the most pathetic hotel i had every stayed. Beds were poky and not good, there was no proper furnishing. There is no towel and toiletries like even brush and paste. It was one awul experience

- Riju (6/5): Cheap stay in Dubai - Stained bedsheets, stained towels, broken tiles in rooms and bathroom, no provision for power outlet to charge mobiles or laptop and on top of all this, you have to share the room with cockroaches... Guess you cant expect more for AED 80 a night in Dubai! The bell boy had a good smile though :)

- Muhammad (2/5): Worst experience ever. Staff, cleaning everything. - Very disappointed, don’t think how the pics are or how the lobby looks, rooms are totally different then the lobby. Besides that even the staff is very rude they literally don’t care about you if you paid online cause its cheaper then they charge if you are walk in customer so on every thing that was wrong he said the website is lying and it is what is it. Very bad experience.
- martin (6/5): low cost bed in dubai - very basic accommodation in naif area conveniently located to airport. There was construction next door going on overnight which was annoying. Hopefully it will finish soon.
- Verified traveler (2/5): Not mended even if you're on a budget! - That's a very poor place, I wouldn't even call it a hotel.. The room was in a very bad condition and wasn't exactly clean, it's barely 1 star, I styed in excellent proper 4 star hotels in Dubai for only double the amount.. Actually the entire neighbourhood is horrible, after checking in I quicly left and only came back to sleep on the smelly bedsheets, and left early in the next morning!

The cleaner is rude to me ... after 2 days.. no house keeping.. i took the towel, bed sheet and pillow cover to the housekeeping man outside my room.. he shouted at me saying "i m busy " ... !!!

- worldtraveler (2/5): Terrible hotel that nothing works in it. - The TV wasn't working (wanted to charge my phone through the USB port). The staff were all hostile men (I was the only woman there). No AC. No breakfast, food or drink in the hotel. Hated every moment there!
- unhappy travell (2/5): Nightmare! - I wanted to stay in a hotel for a few hours, where I could keep my luggage and rest a bit before heading to the airport, so I decided to book something (hopefully decent) for a not so expensive room. It took forever to find the place, no one knew where it was, and I finally found it in between a maze of busy streets. I was harassed on the way by most people in the area, it was scary. When I finally got to the hotel and realized this was not a good idea, it looked nothing like what was shown in the photos. I told the man at the front desk that I had a change of mind, but I was told to call Expedia and sort it out. I asked the guy if it was possible to call a cab to take me to the airport, he said it would cost me 200 dirhams! I said that was not what the travel agency told me (they said it normally costs 50 dirhams). The cleaner, standing at the desk the entire time, kept cutting me off by talking to the guy in Hindi. I called the travel agency & handed the phone over to confirm, but then a yelling match took place in Hindi which ended by slamming the phone in the other persons face & more yelling at me, which I couldn't understand. I told the receptionist to tell the cleaner to calm down, because I was getting scared by this abusive behaviour, but it went on. I then decided, safety first, so I ran for the door. I was then told by my travel agent that the screaming and yelling was because the advise they gave me was preventing the hotel from getting a "commission". Disgusting!
- Firas (6/5): Clean and usable, however location let it down. - Not bad, no parking makes the location very difficult to get shopping to the room, many food outlets around of local and Asian food, room is clean but lacking in fittings.

No breakfast option. WiFi is slow and only available on the floor you are staying. Location was not good, took quite some time for the taxi to drop me in the night. Reception was friendly.

- Leslie (2/5): Dirty Dump - The hotel was filthy. On entering my room I noticed a broken drawer and lamp on the floor. The wardrobe door was leaning against the wall and the toilet seat was in the shower tray I complained several times but nothing was fixed. It's was the hotel from he'll.
- deb (6/5): Cheap and located close to airport! - Place provided us with a comfy clean bed for our brief stopover. Once we arrived at Dubai and discovered their cheap unlimited daily metro passes, we enjoyed a day of sightseeing, a sleep here and then continued with our travels to eu.

The hotel is difficult to locate most taxis in Dubai can't locate it. The bathroom is dirty and stinking With black maggot coming out of the drain, I doubt If they have ever washed it this year .. Cockroaches everywhere in d room and toilet. Then the receptionist is one lazy fella who sits there playing games instead of attending to customers! The wifi is poor u have to stay on d corridor to get signal or u leave ur room door opened!!! I was totally disgusted. I should have taken a pix of the bathroom !

- GODFREY (6/5): My stay at Africana Hotel - The weather was very hot. The hotel is good in terms of the internal buity and accommodating attitudes of the hotel staff. The hotel location is very close to Africa restaurants. In fact I love their food and I felt at home.

- Verified traveler (2/5): No Free Parking & Very Bad Hotel - First of all according to Hotels.com they were supposed to give Free Parking. but they denied and starting arguing. This was the first and Main Issue because i selected this hotel because of Parking. Very very Bad Location. Reception staff was very arrogant he doesn't know how to talk to Customer. Overall Extremely Bad Experience. Will never go again even someone offer me free.
