- John (10/5): Great location, beautiful hotel and phenomenal staff! - The location, staff, amenities and beautiful design of rooms and common spaces. The hotel is a quick 5 minute walk from the Night Market, in one direction, and just a few minutes walk in the other direction to Pub Street yet the hotel is quiet. Also, it is approximately 20 minutes drive by car/tuk tuk to the main Angkor Wat temple as well as other beautiful temples. The rooms are comfortable, spacious and beautifully appointed. They have a lovely nightly turndown service which provides delicious treats and a short Cambodian story highlighting a cultural value. Also they have an amazing Apsara show with a delicious prix fixe menu. And yes, there is a vegetarian option! The staff were phenomenal! They were all incredibly professional, warm and welcoming. For the first time, there are so many staff that I would like to acknowledge- Heat, Chanouk, Pet, Leak, Anna, Tevy, Rin, Visal, Joey and Prent. You are an amazing team! We are looking forward to returning to stay at Golden Temple Residence!

The staff are wonderful, always ready to have a conversation, very attentive and kind. The room was large, but on the back side, so quite dark due to the adjacent building. The bathroom is large. The doors to the bathroom are antique wood sliding, and never closed properly. The cleaning of the room was not up to our standard.

Das Essen war excellent und mit viel Liebe angerichtet. In der Lobby und im Frühstücks- bzw. Gaststättenbereich gab es keine Klimaanlage. Die Ventilatoren haben nicht ausgereicht um die wirklich sehr leckeren Speisen zu genießen.

Fantastic pool and the food was delicious. The ambience of the hotel was gorgeous and excellent location walking distance to Pub street and night market. Das Frühstück war ausgezeichnet. Der Balkon war aufgrund des Verkehrslärms im Grunde nicht nutzbar. Wir haben ihn denn auch nicht genutzt.

Lindo hotel con todo lo que puedes necesitar, habitación muy amplia y cómoda, buen restaurant, nos tomamos unos masajes muy buenos. Nos ayudsron con los traslados del aeropuerto al hotel y nos organizaron la visita a los templos con chofer y guía privado. Som, el guía, hizo que nuestra visita fuera especial. Super preparado sobre el tema, amable, carismático y servicial. Qusiera volver y poder visitar mas templos con él, ya que su forma de guiarnos fue muy buena. Nos encantaría volver el Golden Temple.

- janet (10/5): Calming environment with genuine people providing great service and facilities in a prime location - from the moment we arrived we were well cared for with cool towels, refreshments and snacks, we were not rushed and given time to catch our breath before they came to us for check in, were given genuine advise for activities and services available and enjoyed our first night with dinner and traditional music and dance show at the hotel. Joey was exceptional as was the Manager our room was well apointed and very clean, all facilities were great and staff were all very kind and friendly. we booked a 3 hour city tour on arrival via hotel and joey from our hotel was our guide, we were so happy with her suggestions and what the tour involved a wonderful experiance all round. hotel location is central with lots to experiances right outside the entrance and only a short walk to beer street for additional evening entertainment and eateries.
- Eryn (10/5): - Wonderful, helpful and friendly staff. Food was delicious. Room was beautiful, clean and spacious. Great location in Siem Reap. Close to markets and pub street. Lots of affordable transport options around. Not far from Angkor Wat in a Tuk Tuk. Two beautiful pool options. Excellent room service. Fairly quiet rooms. The coffee was not good, but it was the same in most places. It was very watery and bitter or too sweet. We did find one coffee shop in our week there, close by that does amazing coffee and breakfast. So don't let this turn you off! The only other thing was the laundry price, it was more expensive to get our washing done at this hotel than it is to have it done in Australia. But again a non issue as plenty of affordable laundries close by that do a pick up and drop off service. Overall we were very happy with our stay. These two small nuances didn't change the great experience we had.
- sarakT3709GK (10/5): Amazing hotel and staff - must stay hotel - Beautiful hotel and amazing staff I initially booked to stay in hotel for 4 days and extended another 10 days as I was so happy. Rooms are beautifully designed and hotel is very central, yet very quiet. Breakfast is excellent, I am vegetarian and Samnang, David, the chefs and the team took care of me and made me what I wanted to eat, including delicious oat milk latte which was the highlight of my day. I used the spa and had a number of treatments and would recommend to anyone wanting to pamper themselves. I also ordered room service and they were accommodating to make me food I wanted to eat and it was always top quality and worth the money. They can help organise excursions or get tuk tuks for travel around and this made my life easier. The organised my trip to Angor Wat which was amazing. Another highlight was going to a monk water blessing with Joey, such a memorable and beautiful experience I highly recommend. She was able to guide me on whole process. Nary was the first person I liased with when booking my room and along with the other managers and the staff they took excellent care of me and I will miss them. The staff and there are too many to name here we’re all so kind and upbeat and this is what really makes this hotel so special. I would recommend this hotel to anyone coming to Siem Reap and I look forward to returning one day.
- Elizabeth (9/5): Temple Residence is a solid hotel and and at a stellar value. The people make it even better. - The people, location, shower, bed, spa, and breakfast. It was all outstanding. The airport is 40+ minutes from downtown Siem Reap and they picked us up for $35 USD. One odd thing about the hotel is the price of food and beverages. It’s more expensive than a nicer restaurants, but if you’re doing the breakfast buffet it’s amazing and totally worth it. Try all of the local options at breakfast. So delicious, and some of the best dishes we’ve eaten in Asia. Excellent value, especially for the first time visitor who may not want to rent a scooter. Pushing tours and restaurant.

The rooms are beautifully designed, very clean, and offer a perfect mix of comfort and local charm. The entire property has a relaxing and welcoming atmosphere, making it easy to feel at home from the moment you arrive. What really stands out is the exceptional service. The staff are incredibly friendly, attentive, and always go above and beyond to make your stay special. Every interaction felt genuine and warm, which made a big difference. We also attended one of the evening events at the hotel, which included a traditional Cambodian dance performance accompanied by live music and a multi-course dinner. It was a fantastic experience. The performance was captivating and gave a great insight into Cambodian culture, while the food was absolutely outstanding – each course was delicious and beautifully presented. - John (10/5): One of the best hotel experiences I’ve ever had. - This is one of the best hotel experiences I have had and I have been to 66 countries. The room was stupendous, even fresh flower petals floating in the bathroom sink. So clean and comfortable. Best part was the staff treated you like royalty. The food in the restaurant was so so good, both the breakfast and the three extra meals I ate there. Had two massages in the spa and they were terrific. Tea before and after and fruit. They really wanted you to have a great experience. On the front desk was a plaque from Trip Advisor rating the hotel in 2025 as The Best of the Best. That couldn’t be more true. This was a truly superb and memorable stay. Nothing. Everything was truly exceptional.

- Martha (10/5): Couldn’t have been happier. - The property was gorgeous and the hotel staff incredibly helpful and efficient. The pool was a good length and so welcoming to come back to. Breakfast was very good and so was dinner. Honestly, I couldn’t recommend more highly. Our guide to sunrise and the temples at Angkor Wat was arranged by the hotel and our guide, Som, was extremely helpful in getting around and understanding the history a little more. Nothing. It was superb.

- Emmanuel (8/5): Golden Temple Residence, Spa, Angkor Wat tour - Room: We stayed in the Royal Suite at the hotel. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful (a special thank you to Vattana). We were able to do a late checkout (18:00) for additional fee (not the full room rate). Breakfast had a good selection of options and typical english breakfast options. Room service is also good with a wide range of options. (Siem reap does have mosquitos and the rooms had plug in repellant.) Spa: The spa was open until late 23:00. We opted for the Aspara package (scrub, wrap, massage) which was extremely well priced (with Spa credit). The ladies were amazing and attentive. They even helped with pain my partner had for a few days. Angkor Wat Tour: The private tour was a bit pricey but worth the experience. Our guide, Lucky, was extremely knowledgeable and worked at our pace. The breakfast on the boat was relaxing and well timed after the early wakeup (to catch sunrise at Angkor Wat). I really appreciate that Lucky was able to capture amazing pictures for us. She was truly fantastic. TV was small and too far from the bed.

He is a very knowledgeable guide as far as describing what we were seeing but also for knowing the best spots for photo taking. He made a point of posing us in spots and taking photos of us which was greatly appreciated. Hotel staff were very kind and accommodating.

My husband and I were only here for four nights but are already planning a longer trip back. The staff were incredibly warm, welcoming and extremely accommodating. Our room was very clean and comfortable. The balcony was great for enjoying warm evenings and end of day drinks while watching the hustle and bustle of the streets outside but the room was very quiet without noise from the streets outside. Most of all we want to highlight how wonderful Kai our tour guide was. We spent two days visiting several temples and he was so incredibly knowledgeable about the history of Cambodia and its gorgeous temples. I really enjoyed the time spent with Kai and would definitely recommend booking time and tours with him. We will be back!

Trotz der Lage in Zentrum hat man das Gefühl man ist in einer kleinen Oase, wenn man am schönen Pool liegt. All restaurants are very close-by, walkable to pub street, night markets, old markets, loads of indian restaurants around as well. The staff were amazing, especially Ms.Chandra - she was lovely from the time we checked in to the time we checked out! Never made us feel like we were in a hotel, constantly making sure we were very well taken care of. The staff at the restaurant was super awesome too! I will surely stay here again if i visit Siem Reap. We also booked our day trip with Ms. Savoeun. She was really very efficient! She organised an amazing sunrise + angkor trip for us when we requested her the previous night for the next morning. I would love to recommend Ms.Lucky, who was our 7 star guide! She made sure we get the most of our trip, prioritising less crowded routes to being our best photographer for the trip to telling us all about Angkor wat & the history behind Siem Reap & Cambodia. It was a shear pleasure to have her as our guide!

We booked Angkor explorer package and I must say they justified the service listed brilliantly. The sunset boat ride and the private lunch organised was so good. Nice way to close the day after visit to temples . Our guide Chong was very knowledgeable, he spent good time explaining everything. My husband had done some research on google about the temples and he was quick to correct lot of history which is distorted on Internet. Would recommend him for Ang kor tour any day. We did 2 day tour , would have loved to extend one more day to explore the area better.

The hotel can also organize personalized tours around the city and the temples, as well as private transportation to and from the airport, which makes everything very easy and comfortable. A special thank you to Joey and Sinet for their fantastic guided tour. They were knowledgeable, kind, and made the experience even more memorable. - P391XCsteveb (10/5): Wonderful Stay with Exceptional Service in Siem Reap - I am currently staying at Golden Temple Residence Hotel in Siem Reap and it has been a wonderful experience so far. The room is very spacious and beautifully designed. When I arrived there was a welcome platter of fresh fruit and flowers arranged on the bed which was a very thoughtful touch. The staff throughout the hotel have been professional, warm, and gracious. After nearly 20 hours of flying I was exhausted and sore, so I booked a 90 minute massage in the hotel spa with Ms. Rothana. It was amazing. The spa facility is beautiful and relaxing, and the pressure during the massage was perfect. I felt completely refreshed afterward. Last night I had dinner in the hotel restaurant where they hosted a lovely Apsara dance performance during the evening. My server Van was very friendly and attentive and went out of his way to accommodate my dietary needs. Overall this has been a fantastic stay so far and I am really looking forward to spending the next few days here. I would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Siem Reap.

Yes they tried to Sell us something directly after we booked and once we arrived and we are very happy that we did take them up on the offers for the magic Temple Tour and the Apsara Dance Show, as everything is done with so much love, creating the most beautiful and lasting memories that we can imagine. The whole team is very friendly and professional, the rooms are beautiful and clean and the Food is very tasty. My wife and a friend had their birthdays while being here and got great surprises to celebrate without us asking for it. We will be happy to come back sometime.

The staff throughout our stay were fantastic, so friendly and couldn't have done more to look after us. The food in the restaurant was delicious and the service was great. The location was perfect, right in the centre of Siem Reap but it felt like an oasis of calm once in the hotel. The hotel also had a great swimming pool and a relaxing spa where we had a wonderful massage each. We had booked a 2 day Magical tour of the temples with the hotel and really recommend this. We had a wonderful guide and driver who looked after us for 2 days and took us to 8 temples. The driver gave us a cold towel and fresh water each time we finished looking round a temple. We also had a wonderful sunset boat ride and a fantastic private lunch, on both occasions we were looked after by the lovely Tevy from the hotel who was there to serve us drinks and food. We would have loved to stay here longer as there was so much to see and do in the area. Thank you to all of the staff for making our stay so special

I picked it because it was a top travelers choice on TripAdvisor, and I thought the low cost was too good to be true, but it 1,000% earned that award! This hotel is beautiful inside and out. The rooms are luxurious and spacious. The restaurant and pool area is stunning and a wonderful place to relax and hang out. The spa is serene. All of the staff were phenomenal! The level of service and attention to detail was unmatched. There were so many nice little touches, like the welcome snacks, drink, and fruit tray as well as the flower petals on the bed. These things made this a 5-star experience. Everyone was so welcoming, accommodating, and helpful. I can’t praise all the staff enough for their incredible hospitality. The prices for food and spa services are an amazing value. I did a couple different spa treatments, and they were all fabulous. I was also lucky enough to get to see the Apsara Dance Dinner Show, which is an absolute must! Only $36 for a delicious 5-course meal and the chance to see these beautiful traditional dances! The location of this hotel is also ideal, easy walking distance to the Old Market, Pub Street, and the Night Market. My only regret is that I only stayed one night! Golden Temple Residence far exceeded my expectations, and I can’t recommend this hotel enough!!!

- matthewkD4620LQ (10/5): Incredible Cambodian Hospitality - Incredible hotel from the tranquil and tropical pool area, to the extremely friendly and hospitable staff, welcome snacks and drinks, spacious room, soothing shower, buffet breakfast, spa credit, and spectacular apsara dance show! They even arranged a tuk tuk for me to explore Angkor Wat all day. The hotel feels like an island oasis but it’s right in the middle of a busy city. Only minus is there is no gym in the hotel itself but I highly recommend this property!
