Guest Reviews
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Aside from its cleanliness, quietness and very helpful staff, I am very impressed with the fast internet there. The internet speed is similar to the US. I will stay there again.
- John (8/5): Good choice - All good. Close to beech but quite.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Good location close to the beach and restaurants, friendly and helpful staff
- Verified traveler (10/5): Enjoyed our stay - Enjoyed the quietness, cleanliness and staff are so kind ,polite and accommodating esp Byan.
- Yuri (10/5): Nice hotel close to the beach - I stayed in the hotel alone for about a week. The hotel is located close to Station 3 and close to the jetty port. Station 3 is relatively quiet and I liked that. The beach was 30 seconds away from the hotel, also there were a few remarkable bars and restaurants close by. I had an early morning flight and the transportation arranged by the hotel was great.
- paul (8/5): Hotel perfectly placed right next to station 3 bea - Hotel perfectly placed next to station 3 beach very peaceful pleasant staff always helpful would highly recommend it and would stay there again 😊
- Guillaume (10/5): Convinient and clean hotel with friendly staff - This was overall a great experience. The staff was friendly and the room was clean. Don't expect to sleep with the AC on as it is quite noisy but other than that this was a perfect stay.
- Noryln (10/5): - My name was in front of the front desk so as the rest of the guest. That was new to me. The crew were very helpful, room was very clean , room was spacious , bed very comfy, hot water , air condition worked well in our room.
The location was 1-2 minutes walk to the beach , located at station 3 not a party area and it fits what we came for .... Relaxation with my mother and sister .
- Mark (8/5): - Great place, the wifi should be better
- Eric (8/5): Boracay Island Jewel Inn - My wife's birthday and they provided us with birthday message and my wife was surprised. Pleasant staff.
- Romelie (8/5): Very private and safe hotel - We had a nice stay. Staff are very accommodating and understanding and polite. Hotel is only a minute walk from the clean white beach and close to some good restaurants. We really like the location of the hotel because there were no strangers around selling stuffs it's like going into your own property. Shower is slow but hot, aircon is good provided there is power as the hotel do not have their own generator in the case there is a power outage which doesn't really happen all the time and if it does only for a while. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend to all my friends.
- Romelie (8/5): Great staff and good hotel - Staff were very understanding and accommodating that's all you need to make your stay great. The hotel is a good choice coz it's very reasonable and yet only a minute walk to a nice clean quieter white beach in station 3. It is very private and safe. No people selling you stuffs when you walked out of your room or the hotel. Close to restaurants though a bit of a walk to station 2 and hey who would like to walk to station 1 where the beach is not as clean as in station 3.
Breakfast though is very simple not many choices. I suggest that the hotel should have at least two menus for guests who'd like to stay longer like we did. We end up having breakfast outside because it is the same everyday so on the third or fourth day we ate out and looked for a variety if breakfast otherwise the hotel is fine. Also there's no generator in case there's a power outage but during the day who cares we were out in the beach anyway but it is necessary during the night if you don't like the heat as much as we do. I would stay here again and I would recommend this hotel to everyone.
- Travis (10/5): Brilliant for the price! - Brilliant for the price! Staff genuinely friendly, Comfy bed, AC works, close to the beach - away from most of the noise and stupidness of Stations 1 & 2.
Breakfast was basic but fine, old-school TV could do with replacing :)
- eddie (8/5): Had a nice relaxing stay - First time I had been to boracay with my g/f both enjoyed it would go back in future
- Gino Carlo (10/5): - Very hospitable. Very clean.
- Dale (8/5): Good spot for relaxation... - My girlfriend and i stayed for two nights and three days. It was a very pleasant experience. The moment we arrived, i heard nothing and the silence is just perfect if you wanted to relax.
We originally booked a fan room but the receptionist gladly offered their airconditioned room at a very reasonable additional cost.
Stair's a bit steep and the division of the room is not properly planned. This may be due to the lot available and they were just trying to maximize the available space. There is no view of the beach because it's a 120 meter walk from the shoreline, other hotels obstructed the view.
The staff is very accomodating though and i think that's what makes it top notch. They make you feel welcomed and values everyone as a vip.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Very friendly staff, close to the beach. Basic room with little amenities. Little ants in the room :(
- Verified traveler (6/5): Good budget hotel - Whilst the standard of the hotel is definitely budget the price wasn't. I realise that the Xmas period is a busy time of year and you have to pay premium rates, I am of the opinion that Philippines rates are quite a bit higher than other south east Asian countries.
We arrived 7 hours later than scheduled, perhaps due to flying with Cebu Pacific. We were warmly welcomed by reception and immediately made to feel at home. The room was old but clean. TV was that small I would have had to watch it with my reading glasses on. However during our 6 days I never felt any need to turn it on. We had a nice breeze coming into our room so didn't need the air con on all the time. Breakfast was OK and didn't feel the need to eat elsewhere to satisfy my hunger. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would stay again at half the price.
- Vany (10/5): Truly a Jewel! - The hotel is a 5 minute drive from the port and 1 minute walk to the beach front of station 3. The hotel room is very nice, spacious, clean and super safe! The bed is comfortable and pillows smell lovely! The staff are very accommodating and efficient. They go the extra mile to give good service. My family most probably will be back on our next vacation at Island Jewel Inn.
- Verified traveler (10/5): A good value. - It was a good value. It is about 100m from the beach and about a 15 minute walk from D-mall and all the restaurants/stores. The beach near the hotel is very quiet and the sand is quite nice. The room was somewhat small but also comfortable and clean. The staff is friendly and helpful. The included breakfast is just coffee/tea, toast, and some fruit but it's nothing to complain about. I extended my stay for another 3 days because I liked it so much.
- Verified traveler (10/5): great location, excellent service. - Hotel staff are very professional and friendly. Breakfast was basic but filling. So close to the quiet section of the beach you can't go wrong. They went out of their way to be helpful. Make sure you ask annoy in room massage for 350 pesos by Lorena!! Worth every penny
- Verified traveler (8/5): - The staff are accommodating and friendly. The only thing that needs improvement is, they should have phones in the room. For easier communication with the reception.
- Tracy Dean (8/5): Island Jewel Inn in Boracay - Island Jewel Inn is located near the beach so its neighborhood is great. My only recommendation would be to upgrade the bathroom a bit.
- jiji (6/5): Affordable, walking distance, quiet and private. - For a first time being in Boracay I like the hotel, its quite and private plus walking distance to the beach and it's very affordable. Overall four stars for me...
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Continental breakfast was not good enough. No eggs or sausages.
- patchi (8/5): Hotel near the beach - It was nice stay at Island Jewel Inn. The staff are very friendly and always wear a smiling face. The room was clean and comfortable. The hotel rates are affordable.
- Chisato (8/5): Nice Hotel - Its very nice hotel always clean when we come back good housekeeping and very friendly staff
- Verified traveler (10/5): JEWEL in boracay! - Thumbs up for the overall good quality service and comfortability!
- Verified traveler (10/5): Great Hotel - The quality of the service was fantastic. We stayed for 8 nights and had everything that we could ask for. The room was always cleaned and made up in a very quick time frame, and fresh towels were always provided, even if we didn't ask for the room to be cleaned.
Staff were very friendly and helpful. Also very knowledgeable about day trip excursions and different prices. Also, they were very welcoming, with one girl inviting us to her birthday celebration.
Over all a fantastic place to stay in a quiet section of white beach.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Great stay for a short time! - Great short stay close to El Nido town proper. The room was clean with great a/c. They serve you coffee and breakfast at your table outside the door. The only major draw back know is the noise from the street! The tricycles late into the night and very early in the morning. If possible, get a room away from the street. There are also roosters and pigs that ma key quite a bit of noise early across the street.
- Amesthyite (8/5): The cleanest place I've ever stayed at - We stayed three nights at the Island Jewel Inn. It's a small cozy family feeling guest house. This was the cleanest room I've ever stayed in, be it 3 or 4* hotels, Guesthouses, BnBs, etc. The bathroom was literally scrubbed to shiny perfection - and you could tell none of the fixtures were any where near new - but impeccable. It felt almost wrong to walk around in the room the tiles were so clean. The room is sparsely furnished but then you don't need much when you're there for sea and sun :-)
- Verified traveler (10/5): Really pleasant stay - We just came back from our first visit to boracay and had a blast, thanks to Jewel Inn. We stayed here for 5 nights and the staff were amazing. The front desk girl(which seems to be running the place) catered to our every needs. She even printed out the boarding pass for our return flight!
If you are looking for a place to stay in boracay, book Jewel Inn now. Don't be dismayed by what other people say here about how far it is from d'mall. The hotel is 10 seconds walk away from white beach and about 10-15 minutes walk to station 2(dmall). The walk to station 2 is pretty fun and we must've walked 10+ times!
And the complimentary breakfast was great! They serve toast, fruits, coffee/tea and juice. For lunch and dinner, I would just recommend to take a stroll down white beach and find any restaurant there. We tried the buffet at SeaBreeze twice and I would highly recommend them(although the price was pretty steep).
- Donn (10/5): A real Jewel - Very pleasant....very nice staff....very helpful.....i would stay there again....
- Katie (8/5): Stons throw from the beach - Comfortable, clean and friendly and the perfect location.
- james (8/5): Warm and comfortable! - The staff here are very nice and friendly. The room we stayed in had a bed, small fold out sofa, tiny tv, and decent bathroom. It is a typical Asian style room.
- Verified traveler (6/5): good value hotel - Basic but clean room. Nice basic breakfast friendly and helpful staff. Close to beach
- Arlan (6/5): Good budget hotel - I found my Room different from the rest, and not the same as pictured. Still ok for budget traveler. I enjoyed the refrigerator making sure not to take anything out of it. And the hot water shower was fine, even as it was low pressured. I found the bed to be lumpy for foam. The only problem I found was no taxi driver knew where it was, unless I mention the treehouse.
- joe and liddy (6/5): Nice quite place - About a minute walk from the beach. Nothing fancy but from talking to people it is a good place for the price. Boracay is expensive. The breakfast was included ,consisted of a slice and half of toast jam instant coffee and fruit
- david (8/5): Great place near beach. - Everything was great here if you want to be at the quieter end of White Beach past Station 3. The place is 2 minutes from the beach, great staff, clean rooms except my interior room was weird, never knew who could see into the room with the one-way mirrors and not so see -proof curtains. But skip the breakfast. After a few days of mango or banana and toast, and instant coffee and powdered orange juice, it's time to go out for breakfast instead. Room was large enough with enough place to put your clothes . Hot water fine and Internet as usual , so-so.
- Marcus (6/5): it's alright for that money - Privacy of rooms are not well. because you are look like entering to a wardrobe instead of a room :) Close to the beach but not very close to main shops.
- Daciano (6/5): A true "jewel" hotel at Station 3. - The free breakfast was unsatisfactory only bread, fruit, juice & coffee or tea. Additional for egg/s. But the services are great. Vanessa is amazing! She's friendly and she helped us arrange our Kalibo transfers with few days notice. The hotel location at Station 3 is quiet especially at night. I will stay there again and would recommend to my friends & family members. A 3-minute walk to the white sand beach and restaurants.
- Ng (8/5): Clean rooms, gd location but weak wifi - Good place.
Near to the white beach (stn3)
But wifi a bit weak.
Service was ok.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Great hotel - The staff members were warm and friendly and went out of their way to accomodate
- Alan (10/5): Great hotel - Quiet clean a very nice place to stay easy access to the beach and staff are very nice
- Shee (10/5): Perfect stay - The room was spacious and very clean. We had a balcony view. The staff were very gracious and accomodating. Would highly recommend this place!
- Benedict (6/5): A few steps away from White Beach - We got this hotel because we are attending a wedding at Asya Premier, which is a ten-minute walk away along the White Beach.
It's clean and comfy. We're particular about the bathroom and we were not disappointed. It was basic but with working hot water that you don't have to wait for. The bathroom was well lit.
The bed was a real bed and not a foam mattress - very important. The lighting in the room could be improved as it's too dark.
Our room looks out to a nice hilly forest which was a nice surprise.
Breakfast is served until 9:30am. Don't expect to much from the coffee but it's a few minutes away from Sunny Side Café at Boracay Sands Hotel - they serve good coffee there.
The staff though was exceptional! They made our stay comfortable and worry free.
- Johanna (6/5): Okay for it's price - Nice hotel situated off from the beach and from the noise. Okay for it's price. Rooms are small and a bit worn out.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Good clean hotel for the price. - A Cheap and cheerful hotel in a quiet and pleasant area just off the beach, nothing great about it but nothing too bad either. At this cost you really couldn't complain.
- Efren (8/5): Great tucked away place with great staff - We planned a last minute trip to Boracay and didn't want to spend too much since the weather was questionable. This place had the best ratings with one of the lowest nightly rates so we gave it a shot and were not disappointed.
We had a little trouble finding the place because of our tricycle driver but as soon as we walked in we saw our names on a welcome sign and were greeted warmly by Vanessa. The lobby was quaint and clean as was the rest of the surroundings leading up to our room. Our room had a little balcony entrance with a glass sliding door. Inside was a small, yet cozy, well lit room with a queen bed, crisp sheets, towels made into swans, and overall nice digs. The air conditioning unit was nice and cold!
We had our room serviced once and felt comfortable leaving our belongings in our room. The free continental breakfast was very light fare with toast, butter, marmalade and coffee but just the right amount of pick me up to enjoy breakfast on the beach on one of the many beachfront cafes in Boracay.
The staff was always attentive and even lent us umbrellas when it was raining out.
Overall I would recommend this hotel if I were on a budget and wanted to be close but not in the thick and noise of the high season crowds closer to the beach.
- si hoon (6/5): Nice - Good price good place
