- Westbrook (10/5): - In traveling a handful of countries this is by far one of the nicest, most peaceful, accomodations fit for short or long term I have ever encountered! Immaculate, comfortable, quiet rooms. Spacious and clean, lovely shared garden, a walk to several quiet beaches (1 hour walk to a super secluded beach (or 5 min by bike) Laem Nga), beautiful neighborhood, in a little village away from the hub. I cannot say enough good about Ms Sunee (who is indeed a sunny person) and the staff, they will take care of you like it's your home and if you prefer privacy or alone time they are respectful and understanding Hot shower, great AC and mini fridge, balcony with windows, and all the amenities. A hidden gem all in all. Perfection!

- Leanna (6/5): - We only needed a place to stay for a single night. We booked this room as it said it was an 18 minute walk to the Rassada Pier. It is a 50 minute walk. Grab was 206 Baht to the pier. So if the reason for your stay you will need to factor that in. Sheets were clean but the towels smelled clean but had brown stains on them.

It takes 50 min ride on the bike to all seashore beaches - be prepared for that. Google maps drive you to a bad direction - probably can be fixed by the host

When I asked to clean up, a lady in my presence just waved the broom in the air without touching the floor in a couple of places. It was surreal.

- Susilla (1/5): Wouldn’t recommend this place. - The location was in the middle of nowhere but the views around were green and lovely. I booked 3 nights at Siray House but unfortunately, I’ve had to check out after 2. This is for various reasons and the language barrier as well as absence from reception when I needed to speak to the host. Night 1, we arrived at the place at the time we had estimated we would arrive, and waited in reception for 25 minutes before we were seen to. The bedsheets were stained and smelt. I think someone had previously been sick and the wash hadn’t removed the evidence. The toilets were badly stained, on the inside and out. Day 1, shower had only cold water, the shower drain is blocked, the bathroom sink waste is leaking. Day 2, shower had hot water but initially had red sandy water before it became clear. We left on day 2 at 10:45. Bearing in mind we had backpacked through Vietnam and Cambodia through to Thailand, this place cost the most and was the least pleasant of the trip.

Unfortunately when we booked, we didn't realize how far it was from most activities that we were interested in. We ended up only staying one night and she very graciously refunded the rest of our stay. Location wasn't at all ideal but we should have researched that better prior to booking.

If it was working ( whole hotel no TV ) would have been ok but for price not worth the money. Owner refunded 2 of 3 days thankfully but location not great.

- Bridget (10/5): One of my favorite places in the world. I try to visit every year. - This is the nicest place I've stayed in Thailand, and the cleanest place I've ever stayed after four years of perpetual travel. The owner, Khun Sunee, is a retired nurse, so she keeps everything super clean. She and her husband, Khun Watchala, are kind and generous. One time, a guest forgot his wallet, so they drove a half hour to get it to him so he wouldn't miss his boat. Full disclosure, I lived here for four months before the pandemic, and just stayed here this time with Booking so I could write a review and let you all know how great they are. It's a long walk to a good restaurant, but you can borrow a bicycle to get around. There's a beach in bicycling distance.

- Allan (10/5): - Overall, our stay was much better than expected (or at least other reviews indicated). The hostess and her husband were extremely accommodating and beyond hospitable. We were a bit confused upon check-in, but we soon discovered that the owners live next door to the lobby. They even welcomed us three hours before check-in as well which was extremely kind and provided us transportation to a restaurant and a market free of charge. And, likely what most people are looking for in this remote area, is the close proximity to Rassada Pier. We paid a small fee to the hostess to get a ride in the morning. The room was spacious and very clean. We didn't have hot water, though, but after staying in Asian counties a plethora of times before, we weren't that surprised. Plus, the hot weather outside balanced it out nicely. The air conditioning unit in the room was also extremely effective and combatted both heat and humidity the whole night. I would definitely recommend staying here. The customer service was spectacular!
- Wataru (8/5): New and quiet location - Very spacious and clean room with friendly staff. We stayed one night before going to Phi Phi island. Staff helped us booking our cruise to the island through Ratsada pier. Far from evrything but it's a good choice if you are looking for a peaceful place.
