- Tara (10/5): Love love love! - This was the most picturesque Tuscan inn I could have hoped for! There is a babbling brook in front that helped us fall asleep, the wait staff is so kind and helpful, and taking walks around the property was incredibly beautiful and peaceful. The pool is gorgeous and views unrivaled. The private spa was a highlight, with a hot tub, sauna, and Turkish bath. I cannot wait to go back!

Lady at front desk very helpful with good English . They can arrange a massage with 24 hours notice - highly recommend. Rooms are basic and clean . Recommend the scrambled eggs for breakfast

We had the lower level room and the shower head kept falling off when you turn on and off the shower which we let the staff know about, and the temperature fluctuated a lot. For the price we expected functionality and better quality. The staff was kind even providing coffee water snacks etc outside of their breakfast and dinner hours.

Access to the property is via a tricky 1.3k track but this all adds too the rustic rural feel The property itself is a renovated water mill and sits in the Tuscan hills. Our room was fairly small but well equipped and sympathetically decorated. All of the staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel restaurant was good but a little more variety would have been nice. Great place too escape too and relax and we would definitely recommend this place. But if you want a holiday where you can walk too a choice of restaurants and bars this won’t be for you.

A little bit hard to find and I didn’t like the dirt road, but it was well worth the drive. The scenery, the pool and the staff make it a winning combination.

- Steven (10/5): Brilliant stay in lovely hotel - Unbelievable stay at this hotel. Remote location where you feel totally relaxed (but beware the slightly bumpy road in) whether that b enjoying a calm breakfast out on the terrace or relaxing by the peaceful pool. You definitely need a car to enjoy the surroundings but hotel staff are so helpful and kind with their time and tips that this is not a problem. Rooms are unbelievable in terms of size and comfort. We had a jacuzzi bath in ours as well as shower and the beds are so comfortable that you could sleep for hours. Special mention for Sandro (manager) who was so friendly and helped us book local restaurants and a cooking class at really short notice. He really is one of the main reasons we would come back again.

Le lit est confortable et la salle de bain fonctionnelle. Seuls petits bémols de la chambre: insonorisation insuffisante entre les chambres... et wifi qui ne fonctionne qu'à de rares endroits du site (et pas dans la chambre). Petit déjeuner excellent, préparés avec des produits de qualité et des gâteaux faits maison! La piscine est tres agréable. Nous reviendrons!

Único ponto negativo é a ducha do Box do banheiro, antiga e não muito prática, o que pode dificultar a tomar um bom banho. No mais, tudo muito bom.

- sammy (10/5): Most amazing place we have ever stayed!! - This was the nicest place we have ever stayed! The pool and surrounding grounds were beautiful and the hotel staff were wonderful! We had misplaced a bag before we arrived and the gentleman on duty went above and beyond to let us borrow chargers and call the car company for us. So so nice!!

- Maria (10/5): Perfect place to stay! - We absolutely loved the place. We were hesitant when booking it and while there we wondered why we even thought about it twice and I think it's because the posts and hotel info doesn't really reflect the wonderful place that this is. The location is grand because it's close to a lot of the chianti Classico wineries so location was perfect. There is a bit of a dirt road to reach the place but this is the case for most hotels and wineries in the area and it's totally worth it. The service was outstanding! The gentleman at the reception provided us with recommendations around the area and restaurants which were amazing. The food at the hotel for dinner was very very good (you must try the lasagna) and the breakfast was wonderful. The hotel is a beauty I think you want a day to just lounge around the hotel and enjoy its beauty because it's absolutely wonderful. The staff was great, the prices were good and the rooms were really great. We would come back to stay at this hotel, would recommend 100%

Das Hotel liegt abseits, ist aber allen die einige Zeit dem Alltagsstress entkommen wollen zu empfehlen. Vorallem die ca. 1.5 km lange Zufahrt zum Hotel ist bereits ein Erlebnis. Insbesondere wenn man wie wir, erst bei Nacht beim Hotel eintrifft. ;-)

Dadurch aber nicht einfach zu finden:-) Schöne Poolanlage, tolles Nachtessen in einem sehr schönen Raum, jedoch etwas teuer. Tolle Weinkarte! Gutes typisch italienisches Frühstück. Wer Ruhe und Erholung sucht, wird hier begeistert sein.

Der Ausblick vom Hotel aus ist nicht der Beste, da das Hotel in einer Senke liegt, aber man sieht überall in die Natur. Unser Zimmer war leider eines der kleinsten und das Bett mit 1,40m Breite für uns als Paar zu klein.

- coline (10/5): Très bien - L'hôtel est très beau, très agreable, très calme. Perdu en pleine nature (le chemin d'accès est difficilement praticable), mais c'est une base idéale pour rayonner dans la région. Accueil excellent, buffet du petit déjeuner de bonne qualités.
- Verified traveler (8/5): A challenge to reach by car, but worth the beauty - So thankful that despite our late night arrival, the staff waited up for us and prepared a custom meal to serve at 10:45pm to two weary travellers. They went above and beyond our expectations with their warm hospitality and delicious cuisine. Our room was great and the scenery and venue is outstanding. Quiet, refreshing atmosphere in the tuscany hills not to be missed. Off the tourist track and felt like genuine cultured fare.
