• Lady Jane Canning (7/5): Nice as always just the lack of drinks in room, lamps didn't work. - Perfect for airport, good meal, to go t9 bed on. No coffee/tea in room, couldn't be bothered to go down to ask for some, think it was missed on filling up. Room clean and tidy.

• karen (9/5): Ideal - I like to stay here the evening before I travel, due to how near it is to the airport. The rooms are nice, friendly staff and always have a meal in the pub attached. Just ideal. There is nothing not to like.

• Jahanzaib (1/5): Terrible sleep - drunk loud guests / lack of sound proofing - Clean and generally in good condition. Nice location. Rooms are not sound proofed - so noise comes right in. Drunk guests watching tv on loud volume at 3am goes straight into your room. Terrible night's sleep. Staff utterly useless at resolving, wouldnt offer me alternative room. Next morning staff completely absent at check out. Avoid.

• Asmaa (6/5): - Close to station and to shops, the staff were very cooperative, they accepted for my son to stay with us in the same room for free( he is 8 years) The isolation is very bad, there were one room next to ours that they stayed till morning awake and I couldn’t sleep, thanks God it was one night

• Dianne (8/5): Good stay but some short comings. - Location - Walk in shower no bath - Large screen TV. Left the room early morning and put the sign on door for room to be cleaned only to find we came back at 3.30pm and it still hadn't been cleaned. Appears to be a shortage of staff and if you can't provide the basic service don't take the money. Continental quilt was too heavy and heater didn't seem to work.

• 579co (10/5): Excellent hotel - We’ve stayed here loads of times and always come back. It’s immaculate, excellent location and prices are very reasonable. Staff are very friendly and helpful too.
• Twinning (9/5): - Room and bed was large, clean and comfortable. The meal in the adjoining pub was excellent and good value for money. It was especially good for me to have gluten free options. This is a friendly and ideal place for us to stay as visiting relatives across the road. Will certainly return soon. Breakfast options not too great and help yourself station a little depleted and untidy by 9am

• RichardG1613 (8/5): Business Stay - Great location, comfortable and very spacious beds! Good laundry and 2 towels, makes a difference! Close to all the local amenities, you are in walking distance of everything you need in Wilmslow. Great hotel if a little on the pricey side in my opinion.
• TERSE (8/5): Pleasant stay at reasonable price - We didn’t have breakfast Our room was freezing when we arrived. We decided to go out to have a drink hoping it would be warmer. We put the electric radiator on and our room was much warmer when we returned in the evening 😄

• Zeema34 (10/5): Simply the best of Wilmslow ! - We stayed here as a couple meeting family . From the moment we were greeted at reception from Anthony being amazing to the evening meal we had in the restaurant from Ollie we simply could not fault anything! Anthony was super helpful in every way and great the following morning at breakfast and despite working the evening he was still as bright the next morning! Ollie , you were a star ! The knowledge of all food on the menu and wine knowledge was amazing everything we asked if you did not know it was not too much trouble to go and ask in the kitchen , but most of all your personality shone through so much so my hubby even asked you where the nearest cash points were so he could get some money out for a tip for you as he just wanted you to know how much we appreciated you ! Thank you to Anthony and Ollie you made our stay !
• Antony (10/5): Our best experience from a restaurant, hotel and service from start to finish we will be back ! - Great 👍 location , fantastic service from Anthony on arrival and a great book in procedure and an amazing service at breakfast just an absolute pleasure in all ways , but the star of the show was Ollie on the Monday night in the restaurant, nothing was too much trouble he was simply amazing and knew the menus inside out and advised on good choices for food and wine , we will be back even though we live over 250 miles away simply fantastic Nothing everything was brilliant !

We had on the first morning 2 full English at £14.95 each and I was charged £14.95 for a sausage sandwich. On the last day I had 2 slices of bacon and two rounds of toast again £14.95. I found this very expensive for what I got.

We stayed here as a change from a Premier Inn when travelling from Manchester airport. Totally disappointing. Reception unmanned, rooms lacking a bit of attention, and the attached restaurant a joke. The staff are very helpful and supportive but there’s no leadership. I write to the owners, without expecting a response. I haven’t had one. Copied below: Dear Sirs Having not eaten since breakfast I was looking forward to a good meal this evening; encouraged by your positive reviews. On arrival my wife and I ordered dinner. In my case chickpea masala with chicken breast. Initially it arrived cold, and didn’t taste ‘masala’ - like. The staff agreed. It was sent back. On its return it had been heated in the microwave. The masala was hot, but the rice was crisp. The masala was 90% plus tomato, more like a tomato sauce and no spices, yoghurt, or other ingredients. Very poor. We went to Sainsbury’s for desert which should tell you everything. On return to the room we tried putting the TV on. Batteries flat. Are they ever tested? Is it just me?? Natalie provided spare batteries, and whilst Natalie and the other staff were good, there is no management orchestrating the lodge and the pub. I’d be interested in your thoughts before potentially taking this further. At the price paid I think it’s reasonable to expect much better than that provided by a low quality Travelodge. • Joanne (9/5): - Exceptional stay with family for visiting LaplandUK! Perfect location (10 mins drive to Lapland) with lots of amenities within walking distance from hotel! Sainsbury’s next door was an added bonus! Family room was massive with huge bathroom! Lovely restaurant offering food/beverages joined into hotel! Parking available, for hotel guests! Lovely stay! No faults! We did have noisy upstairs neighbours but hotel addressed it instantly!

Ottimo se si vuole evitare la città e ottimizzare il tempo. Staff gentile e disponibile. Camera in ordine con tutte le amenità del caso.

• Michael (8/5): A nice, comfortable town centre property. - Good location with a pub /restaurant next door. Easy check in and check out. Very comfortable bed and clean room. Though there were tea and coffee facilities it would have been nice to have a biscuit too. The reception isn’t manned for much of the time but a call can be made to the pub next door to get someone over.
