- Klaus (9/5): - Sehr schönes Zimmer. Lage Top Ich hatte mit Frühstück gebucht. Beinhaltet leider nur Cerealien, Toast u. Kaffee oder Tee. Wenn man ein umfangreiches Frühstück, z. B. mit Eiern u. Speck möchte, muss man dies extra bezahlen....

Ligt in Northern Quarter, levendige buurt, vanalles te doen. Afflecks market nabij. Mooie propere kamers, badkamer top. Pub op gelijkvloers met snacks/food. Niets.

- Theresa (10/5): - Enjoyed a fabulous 2 nights at the Abel Heywood. The room was on the small side but this didn't matter as it was lovely and had everything we needed. The shower was fantastic as well as the bathroom. We had breakfast on both mornings which was beautifully cooked and very reasonable prices. Definitely worth the high score given on booking.com and I will definitely be returning. Staff in the Bar & Restaurant were very friendly and helpful. Absolutely nothing.

- Gary (8/5): Excellent room and breakfast but the little things I’ve mentioned above would improve it at minimum cost. - The room. Plenty of room, comfortable bed and good shower. Coffee facilities should offer decaf as some people can’t take cafine coffee and there were no sweaters available for diabetics. No decaf or sweatners for coffee and bar closed at 20.30. I was told I could have a pint but would have to take it to my room. I don’t drink in a pub to take the drink to my bedroom. Pub was very nice too.

- Anda (9/5): Une nuit à manchester - Petit hotel bien situé en centre ville, chambre moderne, salle de bain parfait. Petit-déjeuner excellente à la carte. La vue depuis la chambre 103 donne directement sur un mur, voir les photos. Le restaurant situé au rez-de-chaussée normalement un point positif mais la nuriture à éviter surtout les saucisses.

- paul (8/5): Great hotel - We arrived at the pub which the hotel is above about an hour early as we wanted to grab some food. Pub is great very friendly staff very nice atmosphere. We explained we were had booked to stay the night and the guy behind the bar straight away said he would discount the food as we were staying. Food was excellent could not fault it .we checked into the room which was very clean very well presented. Nice bathroom and a small lounge area with a sofa .one little bit of feedback would be a little fridge in there would be great to be able to put a bottle of water or a few cans of lemonade. We got back late so the pub was closed so not able to get a cold drink. We booked breakfast which again was excellent and highly recommend. All in all a great hotel and bar with brilliant staff. I have to be honest and I feel bad for saying this the only thing we did not like was the area .it's down a side street with lots of dark lanes running off it .not being from Manchester we were a bit wary at times .but like I said we are not from around that way and a lot of people might find it perfectly normal .

We genuinely enjoy coming back and look forward to it every time. The staff are incredibly friendly, and the rooms are always spotless and refreshed daily. We will definitely be returning again.

- Alessandra (10/5): Soggiorno fantastico ! - Hotel meraviglioso! La nostra camera era luminosa, spaziosa, con letti e cuscini comodissimi, bagno ampio, molto pulito e super accessoriato. Colazione ottima. Abbiamo cenato al bellissimo pub situato al piano terra dove abbiamo usufruito anche di uno sconto del 20% come ospiti dell'hotel. Il personale è stato molto gentile, consentendoci di lasciare i bagagli in deposito sia all'arrivo in mattinata che dopo il check out. Ottima anche la posizione, si possono raggiungere la stazione di Piccadilly e le principali attrazioni a piedi. Torneremo sicuramente qui nel nostro prossimo soggiorno a Manchester

- Anita (9/5): Nice hotel in old building, clean, close to big shopping cetar and with lots of shops/bars and restaurants around. - Great location, only during night keep room windows closed because it is loud outside. Breakfast is only continental ( toast, butter, some cereals, few pastries, yogurt and juices) but if you want something prepared you have to pay. It is old building, but cleaning service is good. Pub is in ground floor.

Rauhallista ainakin toisessa kerroksessa. Siisti ja asiallinen huone. Aamiaisen sisältö aika perussettiä, pienellä maksulla sai ostettua lämpimiä lisäaamiaisruokia.

We had dinner and breakfast the next morning, both meals were delicious. All the staff we spoke to were really helpful and chatty. The room was very clean and well equipped, we had a great night's sleep. Will definitely stay again. Nothing at all to dislike.
