• Stephen (10/5): - Good location, although slightly away from the centre of Lamai, it is still really good. Lovely staff. Clean standard rooms. Small pool but available all day/night. Pool is shaded away from sun entirely which can be good. Maybe a little dated bathrooms, but still easily usable. I stayed here for 2 weeks and didn't really have a problem.

I woke up with several bites and welts from the mosquitos. Evidence of old cockroaches that were clearly squished and not cleaned/mopped properly.

Das Personal wollte diese netterweise entfernen, nur leider waren sie nicht wieder auffindbar. Das Zimmer wurde in 4 Tagen Aufenthalt leider nie Gereinigt

• Sophie (7/5): Average - Good location The towels were like waffle throws, they didn't dry you properly and the bedding was a warm fluffy blanket, not good in the heat already, the noise outside was very loud, I don't know if there was a festival on or something or whether that's what it is always like, worth checking before booking but every night it was VERY loud with music and chanting until about 12am and you couldn't close the windows cause they have gaps in them, the pool was out of use, kettle in the room but no tea or coffee to make so couldn't use it ..

Last night the room next door was making a very loud noise, there was definitely alcohol, you could smell the marijuana... Between 1 and 2 am I informed the woman at the front desk about the situation... Unfortunately she did not react... Big minus!

• Aleksandra (1/5): We left early - The windows weren’t proper windows it was thunder and lightning and it felt like you were outside it was that loud. It was very loud and noisy it kept us up all night. The majority of the people around that area where men as well as the guests in the hotel. We were also woke up by them trying to open our door with a key so I wouldn’t recommend as this really scared us. You don’t get a quilt just a sheet. It’s located in not a great area. No tourists.
• Keith (1/5): Avoid at all costs. Worst in Lamai. - Nothing. Apart from that the daytime staff can organise a taxi 🤠 Everything. The photos below give an example of what to expect. For whatever reason, the windows are "virtually" boarded up.
• Sarah (8/5): Great affordable base - This was a great affordable option for us. We travelled for 24 hours and decided to stay here for 3 weeks to acclimatise before heading to Koh Phangan. Easy access to everything. French bakery around the corner, Thai food across the street, a Lotus shopping centre, 7 eleven and food market all within 5 mins. The hotel itself served well as a base and we spent most days out and about on mopeds. The beach was around 15 mins walk away with many other beautiful smaller beach’s a short ride away. Silver beach is a must! We loved jumping in the hotel pool on our return from a hot day out. Only downside was the WiFi dropped out almost all the time so we bought SIM cards. 350 bhat for 70GB (around £8) from 7 eleven. The cleaner was super friendly and the maintenance guy liked to have a laugh. We were there for Songkran (Thai new year) and got absolutely soaked by everyone including our own hotel staff/guests! Only thing I really missed was not having a proper window - the ones in the room are frosted so you can’t see out. Oh and had to manage without any clothes storage.

Ein Kleiderschrank wäre in den Standard Zimmer nicht schlecht gewesen. Die Reinigungskräfte waren wirklich super nett und auch hinterher und aufmerksam. Ansonsten um dort nur zu schlafen ist es ausreichend.

The lack of room cleaning. Not having towels replaced. Pool area was extremely uncared for. For some reason the window in the rooms had a covering that did not allow any view of the outside. Also the room did not have any storage cupboard for clothes.

If you are lucky and u log in to wifi, there is 75% it will not work. Other 25% is splitting on 30rooms, so you can guess what is the quality wifi. At evening it’s impossible to watch a podcast or some movie. Not talking about online video calls… I was writing this message and my loptop got disconnected from wifi 7th time in 1hour…

• Aisling (5/5): Lovely helpful staff - We had booked to stay for two nights but when we arrived into Surat Thani airport we had missed the last ferry to Koh Samui so we only ended up staying one night here. When we checked in we were given two twin beds instead of a double. Within a half an hour the staff had moved us to a larger family room with a double bed. They also gave us a later check out time of 2pm as we had missed our first day here. The staff were lovely and helpful throughout our stay. The beds were very hard and there was a horrible smell in the bathroom. The rooms didn’t look like the pictures online. We would rather have stayed in Koh Samui than Lamai as there’s not much to do here.
• Cameron (3/5): Very dirty, avoid at all costs. - Very cheap option and the location is not bad, on the Main Street through Lamai and 15mins walk from the beach. Do not recommend. At all. Admittedly it’s a cheap hotel, but usually cheap equates to average location, average facilities, small room etc. In this case it apparently also means incredibly dirty (can’t see through the shower screen it’s so dirty, mould in bathroom, leaky toilet, bugs inside, incomplete paint job, didn’t clean my room on several occasions); polyester towels that don’t actually soak up water; there is no natural light (and I was in “Deluxe Queen Room” - ha!); photos were misleading; pool is small; staff were grumpy. Stay away!!

• Vacation617440 (8/5): Perfect for budget travelling - I wouldn’t say this is a boutique hotel, but for the price i would say it is really good. Nice rooms, and the pool area is quite relaxing although small. It is a 10-20 minute walk into lamai busy area, and 20 minutes taxi/moped to the waterfalls/elephants. The food locations nearby are really good. Our only issue was a mix up with the rooms at the very start but reception was apologetic and we had a great time otherwise - i would just say not to expect an up market hotel environment, it better suits budget travelling

• Ouchayn (5/5): Need little improvement - The staff are very helpful, and there’s a small pool that you can enjoy until 11 PM. There’s also a small fridge to keep your things safe. Very close to the Wat Lamai Temple and Lamai beach and many other places. The breakfast is very poor, but you can choose not to have it. I found spider webs in the toilet and used water to remove them. Also, there’s no place to hang your towel or clothes in the toilet. When I arrived, they told me I needed to pay more to get a room with air conditioning. So be careful about what you book.

Sie wollten uns zuerst zu einem Bungalow „upgraden“ weil der Fernseher in den klassischen Zimmern nicht ging - auch wenn wir meinten dass das kein Problem ist für uns. Die Bungalows waren alt und schäbig woraufhin wir uns beschwert haben und in ein klassisches Zimmer konnten. Die Umgebung ist eher laut, die Wände dünn und alles in einem keine Top Erfahrung. Zum Schlafen reicht es jedoch. Auch zum Strand braucht man nur 10 Minuten zu Fuß, der Lamai Beach ist sehr schön und ruhig und die Night Markets eher kleiner aber cool. Für 2 Nächte war es okay.
