Des supermarchés, boucherie , boulangerie…se trouvent à proximité. Une petite piscine avec des transats et parasols. Le patio pour les logements du premier étage. Un lave vaisselle, une machine Nespresso ne seraient pas inutiles… Pour les amateurs de télévision : que des chaînes locales

- Stefan (8/5): Zentrales Hotel in Rethymno - Sehr schönes komfortables Zimmer im dritten Stock. Küchzeile mit Geschirr alles vorhanden. Pool gleich nebenan an. Sehr sauber, gründlicher Zimmerservice. Poolliegen können schön zum Sonnen genutzt werden. Zentrale Lage zum Strand und zur Altstadt. Parkplatz fürs Mietauto vorhanden. Es liegt an einer viel befahrenen Kreuzung. Mit offenem Fenster schlafen geht nicht. Die Aussicht ist deshalb auch nicht beeindruckend. Kleines Bad für einen allein in Ordnung. Obst, Gemüse und Joghurt beim Frühstücksbuffet werden dermaßen stark gekühlt, dass man es zunächst nicht essen kann. Mir hat der Kaffee aus dem Automat nicht.

Odalar temizdi. Resepsiyon ve tüm ekip süperdi. İnsanı germiyorlar. Otel filmlerde kalmış bir dünyayı yaşatıyor. Nostaljik ama çağa uygundu. Perdeler yenilenmeli, yol sesi var ama çok yormuyor. Ekim ayında otopark sorunu yoktu. Manzara yok. Apartmanlara bakıyor. Ama ben şehir oteli arıyordum. Fazlası oldu.

- Yakov (9/5): Nice and special - Central location. Well equipped and tastefully decorated room. Great breakfast. Friendly staff. A small pool on a top floor is very lovely. There is a big parking lot next to Marine (5 minutes walk from the hotel), its right side is free of charge and close to the beach, which is convenient. We managed, but the parking could be a problem.

Hotelleet ligger centralt, men ändå nära stranden. Hotellet har egen parkering, vilket är perfekt i staden eftersom det är oerhört svårt att hitta någonstans att ställa bilen. WiFi-uppkopplingen var instabil, det går inte att titta på streamande video. Lämnar mycket att önska vad det gäller stabilitet och hastighet.

- Charlotte (8/5): Belle hôtel de charme en pleine ville. - Nous avons adoré l’emplacement de l’hôtel en hyper centre, tout est accessible à pied. Nous avons apprécié la décoration de la chambre pleine de charme et la vue de la piscine sur les toits. La gentillesse et la disponibilité du personnel. Le parking très utile. Nous avons eu une coupure d’eau et ne pouvions pas prendre notre douche, cela a fait perdre du temps le matin. Le bruit de la ventilation et la petite fenêtre qui donne dans la chambre et qui n’a pas de volets laissant rentrer la lumière du jour dans la chambre pénible si l’ont veut faire la grasse matinée.

- Harith (8/5): Quaint old apartments redone as a boutique hotel ten mins walk old city - Renovated old apartments in a very convenient location situation about ten mins walk from the old city and just down the road from the beach. The reception staff were general friendly and helpful. The place is clean and the showers were really nice. The cleaning staff were lovely but seemed a little disorganised. They were still cleaning the room after we were given the keys and left it too late the next day to clean the room again. Maybe they were simply a bit overworked (it was peak tourist season).

- Toma (1/5): Bad - After checking out from the hotel, I got a call from hotel. I had very rude conversation. I was accused of stealing 11 sheets from the hotel room. The fact is that there wasn't any sheets at my room at all. When we cheked in to hotel there was zero towels at our room. I use only my own sheets. It's really disapointing how problems is solving. I didn't took anything from the hotel room. All my family are really disapointing about this situation.

Being so close to all the city's major attractions and sightseeing spots was incredibly convenient. I could easily explore the city without the hassle of long commutes or transportation woes.

Our airco was very noisy, like water running/bubbling. No (news)channels in English language on tv. Some of the powerpoints next to bed were not connected, so our phones did not charge.

- Milena (10/5): Perfect summer vacation - We loved this place. Spacious and clean with attention to details. I liked the suite that we were given and although the property is both central and close to the beach windows and balcony doors are made that way that you can't hear anything outside. We tried sleeping with the open balcony doors but we were woken up by car activities on the street. That is however no ones fault, we closed the doors and problem was solved. The property is very charming, clean, calm and quiet and I liked the type of guests that were there. Mostly, older couples and sometime a family with small children. I liked the breakfast very much and they were very attentive as I mentioned to them that I am lactose and gluten intolerant but I manage my way around, they had gluten bread, lactose free milk and lactose free yoghurt ready for me every morning. My partner particularly liked the way the food was arranged and most importantly how it tasted. All staff were very nice and pleasant. We had a late check out and we left the bags to be stored. We wished that we had known that we could also take a shower in the part of the hotel as we had a very late flight and we would have stayed that day on the beach as well. However, this is not something that impacted our stay greatly as we had other plans. This is more like a suggestion to advise late checking out guests about it so that they know about that option beforehand. Other than that everything was perfect and we will definitely come back.
- Xi (9/5): Cozy little hotel - Good location. The staff are very friendly and helpful. It's not very big, but quite cozy and comfortable. Rooms are clean, and the air conditioners worked well. The small kitchen is very useful. It would be better if there are some spices or seasonings for cooking in the small kitchen.
- Roy (8/5): Very good - The staff were very helpful when we got lost, as the hire car sat nav did not work. A better dining area and hrs.

- Georgios (9/5): Superb - Everything was perfect! Cleanliness, location, friendliness of the staff, traditional beautiful rooms!! My parents are strict judges, if they get satisfied it means that something is more than perfect!

- Deepa (10/5): Wonderful stay at Ionia. We would definitely go back there. - The staff at Ionia were all absolutely wonderful. They were all very keen to help and on one day we had an early morning departure, they arranged for an early breakfast for us without us even asking! The hotel was incredibly clean and the pool. whilst small was lovely to have considering the central location of the hotel. The breakfast was lovely with a lot of choice and the lady who was there was so kind.

- Roy (10/5): We highly recommend Ionia suites and Rethymno city :) Thank you for a perfect vacation! - We really loved this place! The room was spacious and nicely designed. The location is perfect, central, but not too busy or too close to the bars (noise-wise). The breakfast was really good and diverse. The staff was so nice and helpful :) We had fun talking to every one of them we met. The parking is small but they always had a solution for us, even when it was full. The swimming pool is not that large but its really nice and wasn't too busy even though we were there at high season. The reception is open 24 hours a day which was really good for us when we arrived at midnight. For us, the mattress was a bit too soft, but we can't really say that it was of poor quality. It seemed that perhaps people in the rooms on the third floor (where the pool is), could suffer from noise from the pool... This wasn't the case for us, but might be relevant for others.

- Robert (10/5): Exceptional - Centrally placed and within easy walking distance of the seafront, harbour and old city centre. Very clean, spacious, and comfortable suite with a very well equipped mini kitchen. Surprisingly quiet for being in the city centre. Efficient check-in and helpful staff. Lovely rooftop pool if you need a soak and relax! Be prepared to spend a little time waiting for, or finding, a parking space. We arrived in the middle of the afternoon and it took a few laps of the surrounding streets until we were lucky enough to get a parking space within 50m of the suites.
- Ivaylo (10/5): Amazing hotel, highly recommended. - Excellent location, very delicious and rich breakfast, and the rooms are clean, spacious and very fresh. The staff was very kind and extremely helpful with everything from which places to visit to finding a parking spot. Nothing.
- Barbara (10/5): Great location and lovely staff - This small hotel is strategically located close to the city center, it has private free parking and a small but cozy rooftop pool. We stayed in a family room, it was large and with all the amenities (also a kitchenette), AC, rolling blinds and two small balconies with chair's and tables. The breakfast was delicius, plenty of choice and with a lot of local products. The staff is always kind and available for any request/information. We will definitely came back! Nothing, everything was perfect
- Kirandeep (10/5): - The staff were so lovely and welcoming, helped with anything we needed and very accommodating- can’t recommend this hotel enough! The hotel is beautiful and the complimentary breakfast has a wide variety to cater to all needs. The beach is a few minute walk away which is super convenient, as well as the port for any boat excursions etc.

- monica (8/5): Charming - Very pleasant stay in a great location. It’s not a modern hotel but has its own charm. Large apartment and comfortable and very clean. Be aware that the parking is small and limited to 4 cars. Car can be easily scraped by the protruding step. A. Nice touch is the raki offering at reception. As many shots as you want !

- Stephen (10/5): More like an apartment than a hotel room, with kitchenette and lots of space. - Big room with a very comfortable bed, a huge terrace, and a swimming pool across the hall. Excellent breakfast, with lots of options. Free private parking lot adjacent to the building. All was excellent.
