• Robyn (10/5): Dubrovnik gem. - A very central location in the middle of the old town. Beautifully furnished. I was able to do a load of washing in the community laundry. Staff very friendly. I would stay here again very happily. You have to walk into the old town with your suitcases. This didn’t worry us but might concern others.

• Chris (9/5): Great location and reasonably priced in Dubrovnik old town. - The apartment was in a great location. In the central (and flat) part of Dubrovnik old town and also in a quiet street. It was also very spacious and had a small kitchenette. The other great feature was the laundry located on the ground floor of the building, which can only be utilised by those staying in the apartments. I didn’t require the offsite parking so am unable to comment on that. For its location and size within the old town it was reasonably priced.
• Janet (10/5): Convenient comfortable old town studio - Excellent location near the Pile Gate and the town square. Spacious quiet studio on the 1st floor. A shared laundry with washing machine & dryer. Bags can be left in reception. About 20 steps with a railing up to the 1st floor. There is a ground floor studio. A minus of being in the old town is some neighbourhood music at night which ends at 10pm. Studio 2 tends to be less light.

Habitacion superamplia, confortable, baño grande, muy limpio y nuevo, salon exterior para poder estar fuera de la habitacion, instrucciones de parking (esta a 4 Km, pero un Uber nos llevo a Puerta Pile por 9 euros que esta a 3 min del apartamento) y comunicacion perfecta via mail con el anfitrion. • Susi (10/5): Wonderful spacious room in old style.Lived the exposed beams and wooden floors . It felt like a ‘palace’! - Great location in Old City Dubrovnik. Welcoming and very helpful hosts. A big plus for us was the on site washing facilities as we’d just come off a 2 week sail. Great hot showers too! All the apartments shared a gracious common lounge. Beautifully decorated. All good!

All great. - The location was almost dead center of the the old town, and easy walking to stores and restaurants. The room was big and the bed very comfortable, and the availability of on-site washer and dryer was an added bonus. And staff, while not there very long during the day, were extremely helpful and friendly. Coffee and tea, and a microwave in the room were great, as was the AC. Getting to the room could use better instructions. We were dropped off by Uber to a gate that has 141 stairs down to get to the town level where our room was. Had we entered from a different gate, it would have been ramps and much easier. That info should have been made available, or more obvious if it was available.

• Jim (10/5): - Nice clean modern apartment in the center of Dubrovnik. This is the place to stay. If you were looking to avoid walking up and down the steps were many of the other apartments are.

Die Unterkunft ist genau im Zentrum, alles ist fußläufig erreichbar. Waschmaschine und Trockner stehen zur Verfügung.Das Zimmer war im Erdgeschoss gut abgesichert Wohnen im Erdgeschoss bringt auch Nachteile - wenn man das Fenster offen lässt, hört man alle Touristen Geräusche mit, wenn man Fenster schließen hält und nur Klimaanlage laufen lässt, bekommt man Kellergeruch im Zimmer.

• Isabel (10/5): - Amazing top-floor suite in the heart of the walled city! Arriving here is fairly easy -- note that you will need to walk from the Pile Gates. Stairs are involved (no lift). Directions for parking location were incorrect and led us to a dead end. The offsite parking address needs to be corrected and/or more detailed directions provided. Also, the extra bed could have been a bit more comfortable.

• Tom (10/5): - Centrally located in Old Town Dubrovnik inside the walls and while at first it may seem daunting walking into Old Town dragging a rolly bag (pedestrians only) it's not bad at all. The hotel doesn't have an elevator so you will most likely be climbing stairs, but if you don't like stairs then don't go to Old Town because that's what you'll be doing - climbing stairs to see anything interesting. The hotel staff is excellent!!

Definitely recommend this accommodation. Would be more comfortable if a couple of easy chairs were included. Or another sofa provided in the common area on the second floor.

• Dwayne (10/5): - This property is the perfect location while visiting the old city of Dubrovnik. The apartment entrance is at street level. Inside the building there are three levels and your room could be on the first. second, or third floor. This is one of the best locations to stay within the old city walls. It is close to everything! There are many restaurants, a market to get groceries, 2 swimming beaches and shopping all within a short walking distance. You can easily go back to your room multiple times during the day if needed. The kitchen is well stocked with a small fridge, microwave, hot plate, and enough dishes for two people to eat a meal or two. I highly recommend this place to stay!

• Ginny (10/5): - This absolutely beautiful property was situated conveniently down a small alley off the Main Street in Old Town Dubrovnik. One step out of the door and you’re in the centre of it all, and yet my apartment was a peaceful cool safe haven to retreat to when the heat got too much. The whole booking process was seamless, with quick and friendly responses to my questions and requests. Such easy access in a notoriously steep and step-ridden city! I couldn’t recommend this place higher for a Dubrovnik visit, if I ever find myself back in this historic city again I would definitely be booking here. Thankyou SUNce apartments for such a luxurious stay.

Self check-in instructions were flawless and the proprietor, Jenelle was quick to ask if everything had gone well. And quick to respond when we reached out on "what's 's app". She followed up with a surprise gift of sparkling wine as we were celebrating two birthdays during our stay. We will recommend this apartment to our friends and family. • Grace (9/5): Very pleasant and enjoyable, especially walking the wall - Very characterful building, apparently it used to be part of the old palace. The bed is comfortable, the bathroom is modern & clean. There are laundry facilities on Ground level, a roomy lounge area on Level 1, & a large dining area on the Level 2. The laundry was handy, & very welcomed as we'd been sailing for a week & then road-tripping for the last few days. Location is central so it was easy to get to anything within the Old Town. We would recommend having breakfast just outside the old town (Pile Gate), in Dubravka 1836 for good breakfast at lower prices. The free car park was handy & very appreciated, but it is located too far away for us - there are four of us with a lot of luggage. We paid for Uber to & from the car park as it wasn't possible to walk the distance even if you only had a light rucksack/backpack. To be fair, this was already forewarned from the hotel, in detailed instructions provided to us before our arrival. If we were to do this trip again, we'd drop the hire car back & save us one day of car hire. Uber seems to be quite easy to call, & therefore convenient. This has nothing to do with the property, but we wish to add that food is more costly within the old town.

The property itself has only stairs, no elevator, but that was once again, not an issue. Recommendation - because the location is phenomenal, make sure to walk the walls as soon as they open. Ahead of my stay, I contacted the host to check how many exterior steps and interior stairs I had to go through since I had large luggage. She was very responsive to alleviate my fears. She and her staff met me at the car drop off at Pile Gate and helped bring my luggage to apartment building and then brought upstairs. I had spacious room on the first floor, quiet and clean Location was great, right in heart of old town, overlooking small church. Upon early morning check out, Host came early at 6:45am to help me bring my luggage downstairs to catch uber at Pile Gate. Thanks so much! Definitely would recommend! Furniture in room was a bit dark style, but I did not mind it. Would be nice if it included breakfast for the price, but Dubrovnik Old Town is pricey!
