• Geert (9/5): Would recommend this location for those wanting to stay right outside Lille centre - We stayed not in Lille centre, but in La Madeleine which is a very quite neighborhood very close to the city centre. We drove by car and there is free public parking right next to the location, very handy! Lille centre is only a 10 min drive by car or you can use public transport (the host provides a very useful description where to get the bus to the city centre). We really liked the location and apartment. Very close by there is also a small grocery store and bakery. Diner tip: Boat restaurant (Archimède) right next to public parking Liberté. The apartment is under the roof so when it gets really warm, it can become warm in the bedrooms. But the host provided a fan to cool off during the night, thank you!
• Caroline (10/5): Well-appointed townhouse just outside the centre of Lille - Very cute, stylish townhouse in lovely and quiet residential area. The bedrooms are a really good size (although only one has a mirror) with big double beds. The shower is great. The nespresso machine in the kitchen was fab and oven and cooker worked perfectly. The real highlight was the super balcony terrace where you could enjoy your meals al fresco. Parking is okay. There was lots of info for places to visit. We followed the Anzac trail of rembrance and the property is well located for visiting Great War sites in France and Belgium. I liked it all!
• Ursula (7/5): Spacious stylish apartment … 20 mins walk to old Lille, similar to Eurostar station, quiet area with lovely local facili - Loved the location,space and style of property … attention to detail eg. Showergel, water in fridge, teabags/coffee pods etc and nice touch The bed was small and creaked when you moved … so we didn’t sleep well. This is a ground floor property and there was a lot of everyday noise from flat above …no sound insulation assumed they have no carpets.

• Ipsita (9/5): convenient, goodlooking, comfortable - a very comfortable, good looking, clean place near to Lille. we enjoyed our stay here. the house has everything that we needed. the hosts were very prompt in replying all our queries. Not an urgency but the host should look at replacing pans and pots in the kitchen. they have started wearing off and since most of the utensils are non stick, its better they are replaced at the earliest.

• Roberto (8/5): Nicely located with nice furniture - Nicely located in a calm area but walking distance to all main shops and even a local market on Mondays and Fridays morning. Some furniture starts appearing fatigued but the charm is there
