That type of workers should not work as a tourism personal. When I report to reception they only looked at me. 0 response!! No sorry , no question , no appologise , no feed back. Ok , I am reporting here

- K1714FFjoannw (10/5): Excellent stay at a beautiful hotel! - We had a wonderful stay at Le Saint Joseph. We stayed just before Christmas. Rooms were well-appointed, clean, and comfortable. The staff were amazing, always available and extremely helpful. The front desk helped us with our ski passes and ski rentals. The ski rental shop is right next door (ignore other reviews complaining about how far away the shop is if you are a reasonable person). Getting skis at the shop was quick and easy. They will put your skis on the slope for you and even help you put on your ski boots.
The breakfast, which is included, is excellent. The concierge was very responsive and helped us coordinate dinner reservations in advance of our stay. We would highly recommend Le Saint Joseph!
- Arda (10/5): Exceptional - Everything is perfect
- Jacqueline (9/5): Superb -
- JH90210 (2/5): Bad 5* experience - Really expensive hotel for what it is, unhappy with it.
The hotel is really small and in need of modernisation and refurbishment throughout. The bathroom had no proper shower - it had only a handheld shower-head which is so inconvenient and water sprayed everywhere in the bathroom. Completely not the standard of a 5* hotel.
Rooms and furniture in need of modernisation, the rooms aren’t really comfortable. Reception area is super small and uncomfortable; it struggles to fit more than two guests and luggage. Reception seating area is in the hotel restaurant as the reception is too small to even fit seats in. This is not a good set-up at all for guests.
Spa was really small and old, has very limited facilities. The lounge chairs in the spa were dirty & stained.
Breakfast options were average and limited in choice of food. No ski room in the hotel at all - have to leave hotel to walk outside to ski shop. The hotel is NOT a ski-in / ski-out hotel even if they advertise it as one.
I visited some other 5* hotels in the area during my stay for tea etc. and service in other hotels were much friendlier and warmer. Completely better than Hotel Le St Joseph.
Overall, not the standard of a 5* hotel, more like 3* throughout and there are many better hotels also with better service in Courchevel.
Definitely wouldn’t stay here again or recommend to anyone.
- Shane (9/5): Superb - Fantastic location & quaint room Very noisy esch night- seemed like a club downstairs
- Deemah (9/5): Superb -
- benjamincE3200HE (2/5): Bad experience, would not recommend - Almost all of the staff here are very nice, professional and helpful, but we had some terrible experiences with an incredibly rude porter that ruined the trip, and the approach of the general manager is to try and ignore the problem which is highly unprofessional. With this approach to service, they really should not be calling themselves a five-star hotel. Other notes: some pictures are misleading because they are of the inside of apartments (not the hotel rooms or hotel common areas), the spa and lobby are extremely and uncomfortably small, and you'll need to walk outside to get to the ski room which is actually just the nearby ski store open to the public, unlike the standards of the true five-star hotels in Courchevel 1850.
- Samira (7/5): Good -
- Saraf (9/5): Superb -
- Ekaterina (10/5): We enjoyed everything- from service to interior - Exceptional support from the reception ladies, they were helping us with everything
- Tara (10/5): Can’t wait to come back! -
- Jerome (8/5): Very good - Good quality breakfast with nice variety.
Very helpful staff.
Good turndown service with snacks.
International newspapers were available. Nothing

- Biberaj (10/5): Exceptional -
- Z2484XCdanielw (2/5): Last time for me in Courchevel - It feels like your getting suckered in. Everything is extremely expensive and just not very good. There are a lot of hidden fees you find yourself paying almost double from what you wanted to pay
Initially.
Also when they recommend “activities” it’s all under the same brand so you’ll find yourself eating the same overpriced food with the same music in the background.
You can’t make a 8$ pizza then add some truffles and expect me to pay 60$
- Mohammad (10/5): Exceptional -
- Maria (10/5): Had the best time! All the staff was very lovely, very attentive, reactive and sweet. -
- Mariam (10/5): Exceptional -
- Clive (8/5): Very good -
- Mariam (8/5): Very good - The location is excellent& staff are beyond amazing. Rooms need sound isolation
- Noura (9/5): I had a pleasure time and enjoyed .. but the heating in the room was unbearable - Cozy. The staf are amazing It was very hot.
- Amir (9/5): Superb -
- Yelena (5/5): Mike like upper fixer 3+ to low 4 star hotel. That “spa” saw better times for sure - Good location. Nice service Hotel needs a major renovations. so old and dated. Pictures on the website are decisive. Tiles in the bathrooms are falling off the walls. I wish I knew before booking in what and shape this hotel is. At least they should invest in new pillows. it has no look or feeling of 5 star hotel. very little value for your money. The restaurant is mediocre and overpriced.. Won’t recommend.
- Khaled (9/5): Wonderful stay because of the staff and location - Very good location, walking distance to everywhere.
Comfortable bed.
clean rooms.
The staff makes your stay beyond good they managed to do everything for us.
Worth every $$.
Among all the hotels I stayed in I didnt receive any services and treatments can be compared to La Saint Joseph! Sound Isolation.
- Mulham (10/5): Exceptional -
- Taleb (10/5): fantastic - everything was fantastic nothing
- Kenni (9/5): Superb -
- Sayali (2/5): Very poor - the staff it’s a 3 star hotel but rated as a 5 star property

- Latifa (10/5): Exceptional -
- Thierry (9/5): Superb -
- Maor (9/5): Superb - the staff is amasing, very helpful and professional. the sevice just impeccable. Clean spacious room and comfy bed. only downside rhere is no lobby (small hotel).
- Elena (10/5): perfect - beautiful they all were soooo helpful
- Fatimah (10/5): Exceptional -
- Lorenco (9/5): Superb -
- Shoug (10/5): Hotel is super cozy, and felt like home. - The staff were more than friendly, kind, and welcoming. They were very generous with information whenever needed. The room is very clean, and very well organized. The bathroom is super spacious and clean. Very cozy environment, this hotel felt like home. I did not like that I had to hold on to the shower head while showering. My only recommendation is that they add the shower head holder that stays on the wall instead of on the bathtub. Also it would be great if we had a pillow menu to choose from.

- Moayad (10/5): Exceptional service and comfortable rooms. - - The hotel helped us in booking every restaurant we wanted to dine in.
- All booking for Skiing and instructor was done swiftly.
- Our room was upgraded freely to a spacious room with balcony.
- The staff were really helpful and they will go above and beyond.
- The hotel shuttle toke us to most of our booked restaurants and skiing.
- The room was exceptional, it was clean and neat. - none
- Ann (10/5): Exceptional -
- Humaid (10/5): Exceptional - The hotel staff was amazing, i would like to thank them all, however they clean the room 3 times a day or whatever you go out, the location is magnificent, highly recommended
- Andrea (6/5): Falling short of 5-star requirements - Great location next to gondola station and village centre. Friendly staff. Some nice unexpected gestures such as late check out. Unfortunately it falls short of 5 star standards in many, many ways. To mention a few: check-in was a nightmare, between ridiculous and comic; the Room has character but is dark and misses some basic amenities, generally not comfortable; wellness area is so small. Many features are simply not good enough, considering the price of the room: I advise travellers to consider paying more to enjoy a true 5-star experience.
- Dave (9/5): Superb -

- 330suzannet (8/5): Elegant chic and cosy - Gorgeous elegant small boutique hotel . Very stylish in the old alpine way but well maintained . Great staff , awesome housekeeping ( room tidied , cleaned and new towels every time we left the room ) a little treat left in room every afternoon . Spa was a little disappointing, no pool but they did offer treatments , a sauna , hot tub and a fabulous steam room . 2 restaurants Asian and Italian are attached to the hotel and you can order any item as room service . There isn’t a lounge area or bar area to sit but the rooms were cosy and a great place to sit .
- 43dianaz (10/5): A hidden gem in the heart of Courchevel ❤️ - It is not the first time visiting Courchevel but the first time at this beautiful place. We chose the family room, and it was perfect. Decor, little special touches, warm and friendly staff, excellent food selection for breakfast and health corner. I was most impressed by the health corner where you could find various detox juices and particular vitamins for your health. The location is also 10/10 as the ski shop hotel works with is like 10 seconds walk and maybe 1min max to the main ski lift too. Although we ran out of time and didn’t use the spa, it looked amazing, and we will definitely go there too.
Thank you so much for the lovely stay ❤️
P.s. both hotel restaurants are wow. My partner and I had eaten at Saint Marco four years ago, and by a pure coincidence, we were here now too.
Merci et à bientôt 🙏🏻❤️
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Great location, fantastic service and very nice restaurant at night at the ground floor
- Henri (8/5): - Excellent sejour, personnel charmant.
- A (10/5): Excellent Service! - The Hotel was really cute and in good location. The service was EXCELLENT, from the reception desk to shuttle drivers and cleaners. Our room was really lovely very alpine vibe! The reception desk were very good at helping us to book restaurants or with suggestions! Definitely will stay again
- Catarina (8/5): - Séjour très bien la chambre est un peu petite et le balcon n'est pas privatif.
On ne peut pas se doucher sans tout inonder, et spa très petit.
Accueil, personnel et restaurant excellent.
- avipiti (10/5): Great hotel near the center of Courchevel 1850 - The hotel is just a few minutes walk from the Croisette, which hosts the major 1850 ski lifts. The large room was on the second floor, with a bathroom (+ bath) on the level below the room (accessed via stairs inside the room). Breakfast was good, but not great. Service was great - the staff were always very kind and always helpful. Every day they brought a sweet snack in the afternoon. The staff took care of parking the rental car in the indoor garage. The bed was very comfortable. The under-floor heating was a bit too hot (needed to open the window at times, but better hot than cold...).
Some downsides: the view from the room was far from being spectacular. The room had only one available electrical outlet (the rest were dedicated for lamps, phone, etc.). This is a big problem with two cellular phones, a laptop, a camera, mobile chargers... Need to add outlets or provide an extension cable.
- Molly (10/5): A warm cozy small hotel. - Close to slopes. Wonderful staff - very attentive.
- maasooma Alnuai (10/5): Wonderful stay - We enjoyed our stay @ le St.Joseph hotel.
Their friendly staff make our time lovely. Everything was amazing especially the Italian restaurant San Marco it serves the best dishes. I strongly recommend this place to b try. Thanks for Christmas fantastic gifts & for everybody especially Arno.
- cairok2016 (8/5): Wonderful Classic Alpine Resort - The hotel is a charming, classic luxury alpine resort. It is well situated within distance of restaurants, shopping, ski lifts and other activities that were arranged by the courteous and professional hotel staff such as dog sledding, hot air ballooning, helicopter tours and daytrips to adjacent villages such as Megeuve. The hotel restaurant itself was very nice (serving european fair) and the breakfast was notable. The suites are well appointed with traditional separate bedroom, spacious bathroom and comfortable living room with a fireplace. Special mention to Arnaud and Margot for their help in making this a memorable and wonderful first stay in Courchevel.

- aliaE1791PN (8/5): Classic Boutique Hotel with great restauant and lounge - We ended up not staying here but did hand out there at the lounge and the restaurant and checked out the rooms; Classic décor and beautifully done rooms; a bit too stuffy for our taste; the rooms do not have views but are spacious;
- King Pui (10/5): - Is just perfect and nothing bad I can share
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Excellent hôtel pour le ski et l'après ski
- GeorgeADj (4/5): A "has-been" property - This property might have once been a good place to stay. It is now a "fixer upper" - unless the owners stop thinking about squeezing every last penny out of it and actually invest some money, it will be just that. For the 2300 per night that I paid, it would expect an experience of a different caliber. NOT a good price-quality ratio.
Excellent: the room decoration and the amount of space. I booked a suite (205) and it did offer lots of space. Wifi speed connection.
Good: location. Unlike some of the finer hotels in Courchevel it is not a ski in-out hotel. It is, however, only some 200 meters from the lifts. Also, the staff seems quite nice, with some inevitable exceptions, the exceptions being utter disregard for the demands of guests (such as having to remind about a room service order after an hour of having placed it).
Mediocre: the sleep quality (beware - two of the more popular night clubs in town right across the street from the hotel)
Bad: the equipment in the room and the fixings in the bathroom. Everything old and worn out.
Atrocious: food in the restaurant St. Marco. Last time I was in Courchevel the restaurant (then called the "Houssard") was recommended to me by the concierge in Kilimanjaro, one of the tonier properties in town. It was indeed quite nice. Now the restaurant has a new name and a terrible, I mean, a terrible chef. One has to try hard to eat that badly in large cities in France, let alone in Haute-Savoie. Avoid the restaurant at all costs.
Definitely not a place to come back.
