• Jewel (10/5): - If you’re looking for an old school beach motel this is the one! It’s nothing fancy but it was very clean & simple. I hope they never sell this place to have it demolished & turned into a big hotel. Hotels like this one are hard to find, it takes you back to the “simpler days”. I’ll definitely be staying here again!

• Barbara (8/5): - I brought my little dog. Internet said they were pet friendly. What I didn’t realize is they Charge you $40.00’xtra. They don’t tell you that until they send an email of charges. By then it is too late !!! You can’t cancel. Very deceptive. But it was clean. The outside needs some work. When I booked it said the charges $133. I was charged $177. Not happy with that.

Doesn't seem like the owners are maintaining the property: peeling paint on doors, foam weatherstripping around air conditioners not adequate, could use better hooks to hang towels, remote for TV didn't work-- couldn't use volume control or mute functions, room could use better area rugs that have non-slip backing to prevent falls, curtain for bathroom window.
• John (4/5): - Would of been a 5 star if the room was clean. I have allergies and the ceiling fan was very dirty and the wall by the bed had built up dust. The clean towels smelled really bad. A good scrub down and clean towels and it would be a 5 star. I love how the beach is so close. I loved how the motel has beach toys ect. to borrow. The locals were very nice.

• Jeremiah (10/5): Great beachside motel - Fantastic little beach side motel. Everything was great. It didn't look like much from the outside but it was very comfortable and in a great location. Really enjoyed our stay.
• Judy (4/5): - I liked the convenience of the beach access being directly across the street and the beach toys that are available for the kids. Rented 4 rooms the front balcony was being renovated and 2 days out of the 4 days workman were outside our room at 7:30 in the morning hammering and talking loudly. One of the rooms air conditioning went out and they gave us a fan told us to turn unit off and open door that it must be frozen up or we were going in our too much. After complaining again they moved my family to another room. In room 10 the bathroom was so small you had to stand in shower to open door and they had cut a notch out of door so door would open pass the toilet.

The hotel room was dirty, the bath towels were tiny rags, the shower was disgustingly dirty and the doors were sold old, they didn't shut. I would definitely come back to Flagler Beach, but not stay here. You get what you pay for.

The beach entrance was just across the road & the dog friendly atmosphere everywhere made it so much more enjoyable… We Will definitely be going there again & again!! • CB (8/5): I kinda liked the vibe. - Office folks are great. It’s so nice to talk to a real person on-site at a hotel. It’s old, outdated. Let’s just get that outta the way. They have a great ice machine, cold AC, good water pressure, the beds are comfortable. It’s old. Temper your expectations. Our room was super clean and well put together. The tub was chipped. The AC unit is a little noisy. The bathroom is incredibly tiny. The old floors were spotless. If you’re gonna beach all day, eat dinner out and just shower & sleep. Save your money and stay here. The people are super nice. Everybody talks to everybody. Folks hang outside listening to music, etc. I even saw some playing cards. I love that vibe.

• Amber (10/5): Beach Front Motel, worth it. - Honestly, it was a nice little motel. It was affordable for "beach front" lodging. Step outside and across A1A and you're on the beach. It was quiet and we felt safe there. Our only concern was, that when you accidently touched the screw on the bathroom lightswitch, it shocked you everytime. We just didnt allow the kids to turn the light on or off and we used a dry washcloth to flip the switch. The floors in the room are tile, so they stay dirty. We just kept socls on while in the room. If we do visit Flagler again, we will definitely stay here again.

We only needed the room for a night but the mattress wasn’t very comfortable and the AC was loud when it was on. When it was off the room was suffocating. It’s very movie like in its location and aesthetic.

We arrived late so it was a remote check-in, but we personally didn't mind that. The one staff member I met upon check-out was friendly and gave such a warm welcome to come again soon!

Older motel, so don't be surprised with the dated look, bathroom and thinner walls. They did not hinder our enjoyment. It's what we expected and way better than the overcrowded "resorts" in Daytona. We love the area. Coffee shops and restaurants that were dog friendly within walking distance.

Hotel is older but it has been kept up for the most part. It has a family feel, and is very art deco. Room was clean. Maybe a 2 minute walk across the street at your on the beach. Tons of shops and restaurants you can walk to. 32 minute drive to Daytona from hotel. We will definitely stay here again.
• Scott (10/5): - My room was the most immaculate-clean I’ve ever seen a motel room in my entire life — and you can tell everything about a motel by how clean it is, especially the bathroom. If you’re like me and no fan of corporate big box hotels, you will love this place. Old-school kinda kitchy, far enough down the road from the center of town to be wy quiet at nite, but close enough to civilization (5-10 minutes). Only thing is, the town rolls roll up the sidewalks at 9pm. But for R&R, this is a great place to stay right on the beach. I booked a room for my next holiday, too.

• Linda (10/5): - It is an older motel and right on a main road. The room we had was was ocean view and very cute in decors. The road was not really a negative. Restaurants were walkable and great food & prices.
• Richard (10/5): Nice, short stay - Quick 2 night stop on way to Universal. Old Florida style hotel. Clean, smaller rooms which was fine for a couple nights. Met some great people out on the porches. Beaches are beautiful and lots of shops and restaurants close by.

• Randy (8/5): Hidden Gem - When I tell you guys if your looking for an affordable beach front hotel that’s dog and people yes I said people friendly this is the hotel for you. Now if your all Bougie then don’t even bother but if your into chill vibes being close right next to beach then this is the one! The only way really to explain this hotel really is it’s like a hipster’s hideout with a very beachy theme . No great amenities but everything you need is there. Most importantly is the easy access and view to the beach. My room was on the first floor near the rear but I could still sit in front of my room and see that wonderful beach. I’m sure if you get a second floor room the view is even better. I consider this a rare find and would recommend this to all dog lovers especially. 30$ fee per stay not per day per stay! Not kitty cats sorry kitty parents. Anyways great place great staff great location …book now ! Happy vacation in sunny Florida

• Steve (4/5): - Cute old hotel along the waterfront, but unfortunately it needs lots of updating. Our room was clean that was OK but everything is old. The blinds for the front windows were broken door to the room. Door handle and lock was very hard to open extremely old. Door barely closed huge gap underneath the door and heard road noise, as well as the pot smell coming from the neighbor through the door. wi-Fi did not work had to use cellular data. The TV was newer, but unfortunately, most of the channels did not work. The parking lot was all sand, which was kind of cool, but unfortunately people just randomly parked all different directions and by the end of the day there was not enough parking for the guest who are all complaining because there was nowhere to park

Unfortunately i am handicapped and bone on bone my knees and cannot climb stairs. My husband is almost as bad and he was forced to carry all of our fishing stuff and our luggage up the stairs. The first morning there.It took me fifteen minutes to come downstairs.
• Yvonne (2/5): - This motel looked nothing like the pictures online. It is really outdated, needs several repairs on the outside. The door to our room looked like it had been kicked in. The railings were wobbly and the painted surfaces were tired looking and worn. The tv in our room did not work, and we just didn't get a great feeling about this place. Did not stay the night and left. This place needs major updating and work done to it.

The only thing that we didn’t like was that the toilet in our room was running constantly and the window AC unit was really loud, which made it a little difficult to fall asleep. The staff was great and the room was clean and comfortable.
• Lanny (8/5): - This was our second visit to the Beachfront Motel, and we love it. Its a throwback to the 1950s. No, it's not new and modern, but that's the charm. Rooms are clean and comfortable and the staff is very sweet and accommodating. We would recommend.

Couldn't figure out how to use the TV. Lol. But didn't really care about that. Walls are thin and could hear neighbor's TV. Wish they put more towels, toilet paper, and wash clothes in the room. And a larger trash can.
