- MBR_1962 (10/5): Wonderful afternoon tea - Nice hotel entrance and warm reception, then shown to a lovely dining area to be seated. Offered tea, coffee or soft drink of any choice. Afternoon tea came very well presented, fresh with plenty of choice. Was fortunate enough to have had a groupon voucher and was in the area but saying that what we had was the great time, food and staff wonderful and well worth a return visit.
- MRTNPHN (10/5): Great hotel - A calming welcome with pleasant staff awaiting to assist. The hotel is newly refurbished and looks great. The rooms were clean and quirky and had everything that I needed throughout my stay. The onsite gym is really good with lots of equipment and the food was great. Added to my favourites list when near Bradford/Leeds and big shoutout to Charlotte for a super efficient welcome and helpful service.
- Fred577 (2/5): Bit grim - I arrived about 8.30 Saturday evening tired and hungry after a days travelling and attending a nearby event, bit of a slow check in as only one person on reception who was not exactly a mine of information, even seemed to assume I would magically know where to find my room. I enquired about food options and a hand was waved towards a large restaurant on the right which was completely empty and unlit apart from a small line of tables for two along one side, seeing my puzzlement he did add “or room service” which seemed far more attractive than sitting alone in the dark. However room service didn’t answer the phone so I had to return, the same person on reception handed me a menu (looked quite nice) but after waiting a while uncomfortably in an entirely empty room in the dark I decided to give food a miss as I had some biscuits in the car and didn’t want to drag the poor man off reception again to have to cook my evening meal, he did seem to be the only staff aside from a couple behind the bar who were busy sorting something though I did eventually manage to get a drink it didn’t seem to be a priority to serve anyone! After my drink I went to my car for a bottle of water(non provided in room) and the biscuits for my evening meal, also to check it was still there tbh! As I returned to the hotel a large rat ran across the entrance door in front of me, whilst I know everywhere has them this didn’t really add to the overall feeling of I want to stay here and I must admit I returned to my room and started looking for nearby Premier inns that might have availability at 10pm of a Saturday, had there been any with a reasonable review and/or price I would have left. The room itself was ok, bit shabby but clean, nice bathroom, and quieter than I had expected given the amount of vehicles coming and going so eventually I slept ok. Breakfast (which I had the foresight to pre book as it’s cheaper that way but I had to ask the previous evening no such info was just volunteered!) was also a bit odd, just me and an old chap wandering about looking for porridge in the same huge restaurant though at least this time in daylight. There was a member of staff doing breakfast check in though he left after I had done so, so maybe it was just the two of us booked in?…..it was buffet style and ok apart from the mushrooms(ugh) I would have liked a coffee but the machine didn’t seem to offer a simple americano and the only coffee sachets were decaf so tea it was. It was early I suppose 8-8.30 (I was keen to leave)but still seemed strange that nobody else was having breakfast, maybe they all headed over the road to the McDonald’s I discovered as I left, cheaper and probably nicer, same for the evening meal? Maybe I just caught the place on an ‘off’weekend….but I have no idea where all the good reviews come from. I expected at least Premier inn standard and dared hope from the pics and reviews I was going to have a bit of a treat. I will never go back.
- mandis599 (2/5): One of the worst afternoon teas I’ve had in ages - The finger sandwiches were scant - very small and the bread was slightly dry and the fillings very boring and tasteless. The scones were rock hard, and instead of serving clotted cream with them - or at the very least, double cream, they served them with Chantilly cream which is cream that has been sweetened. and should never be served with scones and jam, because it makes the whole thing far too sweet - and this cream was particularly sweet. It was just horrible having sweetened cream. The cakes were awful. There was an unpleasant carrot cake, and a kind of cheesecake thing with jam in the middle that looked like it had gone off and it tasted like it was old and on the turn, and certainly didn’t taste fresh , so neither of us wanted to eat any of the cakes. The service was non-existent. No one ever came to ask us if we would like more tea and the teapot ran out halfway through and it was a long walk to try and find anybody, because it’s such a big hotel. It was like being in the Marie Celeste, because we were the only customers there. Regarding the scones, I found a waitress and asked her to go and see if there was any clotted cream or at least normal cream that they could whip up for us scones without any sugar in. She disappeared for 15 minutes and then came back to say that there was no cream in the Hotel kitchen which I found absolutely astonishing.We kept having to go and find invisible people, to ask anything. This was a thoroughly poor experience and because it was on Groupon and we had spent our vouchers, then we were not entitled to any money back. I spoke to the manager when I got home and she did not offer a refund and she told me she would investigate and definitely get back to me in the same day or evening, and never did. I notice that there are other good reviews and maybe we were just very unlucky on that day or maybe some people don’t expect much from a Groupon meal but I think that if you are a Groupon customer or not, the standard should always be high.

The room was spotless, the bed was incredibly comfortable, and the staff went out of their way to make everything feel effortless. Every detail from the smooth check‑in to the quality of the breakfast made the experience truly enjoyable. I would happily stay here again.

Jackie our host is lovely, she walked in to the drink machine not working, 5 minutes later its fixed, talk about super service. Nothing seems too much for her to sort out. The staff were amazing helping set up and making sure the day went smoothly. Would also like to say a big thank you to jackie who helped with the chair designs the day before the wedding. If it wasnt for you i would still be stressed out. And also would like to thank farzana for making the day go perfect and for checking to see if everything was ok and if i needed anything. Overall, the food quality was great compliments to the kitchen team. The only small note I would mention is that the potatoes were a bit too hard for my preference; I would have enjoyed them more if they were softer. I would especially like to thank Bismal for her warm, friendly, and attentive service. Her positive attitude truly enhanced the entire dining experience. I did encounter a minor issue regarding payment, as only card payments were accepted. However, the situation was handled quickly and professionally by a tall, well-dressed gentleman who kindly resolved the matter. I really appreciated his help. As a suggestion, it might be helpful to display a visible notice informing guests that only card payments are accepted, to avoid any confusion for first-time diners. Overall, a wonderful experience with excellent food and genuinely kind staff. Thank you.

A bright, clean hotel that’s good value and has very quick customer service, a bar, gym, restaurant and huge lobby. Me and a friend went from London to watch MMA matches the hotel was hosting and the hotel’s event runner Naz was wonderful, friendly, helpful and well-humoured with a formidable efficiency that was present with much of the evening’s staff. Definitely coming again.

- MrsARB29 (8/5): Look out for the service charge - Generally good service and room clean and suitable for the stay. Only complaint was the service charge that was automatically added to the bill in the restaurant on the assumption that you are there on business and will claim it back. This wasn't the case for myself and took me over my allowance. When checking out was advised there was no additional payment, but there actually was. I don't mind paying for good service and leaving a tip, but don't like when its automatically put on and not clear.

- carol_brown207 (4/5): Poor Christmas food - I don't like to leave a totally negative review and there were some good points. The hotel is very clean, our room was comfortable , although I would have liked more storage space, the staff in the bars and the restaurant were both friendly and efficient, a credit to the company. The entertainment provided over our Christmas holiday was of a good standard especially the lady violinist. She was superb. The whole holiday was spoilt by the standard of the food that was served. Breakfast was fine except for the fact that all the public rooms in the hotel are chilly so it was not a leisurely experience. The main problem was the evening meals. They were barely warm and portions were small ( apart from the green beans and mange tout ) They were served as a vegetable for every meal, often the only vegetable on offer. They didn't even taste nice and most people didn't eat them. As this was a Christmas break the Christmas dinner should be the best meal of the week but it was very poor, soup was cold , my dinner consisted of 2 slices of turkey, half a carrot, half a parsnip, 2 roast potatoes, for some reason cooked in their jackets so were like leather, cauliflower cheese, 3 small sprouts and the inevitable green beans and mange tout. It was almost cold by the time I got served. This was followed by Christmas pudding . On the menu we were told it would be served with a brandy and cream sauce but it was just plain custard. Enough said. Sorry but I won't be returning.

Came in after a stressful day, straight to the bar for a bet after checking my room out with was absolutely spotless, and just an overall great room to spend the night in. Ash at the bar was super attentive, I tried to but him a pint for this but he did not accept, he said (I will get you a pint next time if I have to force it!) Anyway ash, you’re a top guy. - 367anthonyu (6/5): Disable Parking - Anthony U My wife and I arrived on the 5th of December after being told there was plenty of disable parking but when we tried to park all 8? spaces were full but only one blue badge on display ,I had to park by the entrance to the car park and walk back to the hotel entrance in heavy rain .When I mentioned to the reception I was told they had too many cars to police not good.As far as the hotel it was clean warm and well designed and the staff were very friendly and polite and a very good location for exploring the area .If I was asked by a able-bodied friend if I would recommend I would say yes ,If I was asked by a disabled friend I say double check
- 623raghur (2/5): Beware of using EV charging facility - I recently visited Cader Court Hotel in Bradford to charge my Tesla using their on-site EV chargers. Unfortunately, what should have been a simple stop turned into a very disappointing experience when I later received a £100 parking fine — all because EV users are apparently required to register at reception for a parking waiver. The problem? There are no clear or visible signs at the charging bays explaining this. Nothing at eye level, nothing on the charger, and nothing you would reasonably see before plugging in. This requirement is completely unclear and feels like a trap for EV drivers, many of whom wouldn’t even think to go inside the hotel because they’re simply using the charger. This experience left me extremely frustrated, and it reflects poorly on an otherwise decent looking hotel. Clear signage is the hotel’s responsibility, and EV customers shouldn’t be penalised for rules that are not communicated properly. I hope management takes this seriously and improves the signage around the EV charging area, and I would appreciate support in having this unfair fine cancelled. Until then, I cannot recommend the hotel for EV drivers. I have appealed against the parking fine and awaiting result now which could take up to 28 days ( if pains under 14 days the fine would be £60 ).
- Cosmopolitan788442 (8/5): XMAS party - Went to Cedar Court Bradford xmas party on Sat 6 December. I would like to say a massive shout out to Paul who was serving the prosecco. He was friendly, kind and kept the prosecco flowing. Thank you Paul. The meal was lovely, the music great. Drinks slightly expensive but we had a great time .
- P6728RQharryw (10/5): Superb Customer Service - Visited briefly on the 7th of December and the customer service from staff was unbelievable. Even though they had a big event on, I felt that I received incredible service from every member of staff who were unbelievably helpful. I wanted to give Ash a special mention. We were running a little late in the morning but he showed us to where we needed to be and then provided superb customer service throughout our short visit. An extremely friendly and warm character and a real asset to the organisation.

We got the best attentive, professional warm friendly service from Leanne, she's a credit to them. Already looking forward to my next visit 😀

She welcomed us like we was family and made us feel very comfortable. Shout out to the chef connor, new menu, what amazing food he provided. Defintely recommend the hotel. - 907yy (10/5): Great hotel - I stay here once a week for work and I can’t fault the hotel , rooms are lovely , the staff are really helpful ,the manager Maz ( I think ) is lovely , the restaurant food is really good , they had a new menu today which had lots off variety and my food was faultless as always , my server Bismah was so lovely , nothing was too much trouble , I explained on arrival I knew what I was ordering so no menu needed , she explained they had a new menu and went through the options with me , she’s a credit to the hotel

She left the room absolutely spotless — truly cleaned to perfection! Joanna has such a lovely, positive manner, always greeting with warm smiles that brighten your day. I also really appreciated how quickly and kindly she replaced my sparkling water after I had received two stills — she sorted it out ASAP without any hesitation. Her professionalism and friendliness made my stay even more enjoyable. I will most definitely be returning to Cedar Court again… everything about the experience was exceptional! It was, however, in the middle of nowhere with nothing to do after dinner, we had a drink in the bar then watched telly.

- PatA464 (8/5): Nice Hotel. - This is the first time I have stayed in this hotel; in fact the first time visiting Bradford. The staff were friendly and helpful, there is a nice lounge area with a bar which, though I never used, looked relaxing with comfy chairs and sofas. The restaurant served a small menu, but I would highly recommend the Tortellini made with sage and pumpkin, the vegetable curry not so much! The room was clean and tidy and I had a great sleep with no outside noise or disturbance. The use of the gym was a bonus as it shook off the weariness of the day and though small, was equipped with all you need for a workout. It was also well used and accessible at all times, I believe. What was missing? Maybe some some small bars of soap (I don't use shower gel) and had to buy my own and as I said previously changing the bins in both the room and bathroom would have been helpful. Overall however a good stay and I will likely stay again.

The lobby is great and spacious, check in easy and the car park cheap at £4 for the night. The bar was open until 2am which was ideal and our room was decent for £60. - T7592YQkated (10/5): It was comforting and reliable - The friendly staff, clean rooms and lovely food. Helpful people on the desk and Larah Was so great when we were having our meal. The beds are so comfy and I always sleep well. The bathrooms are so clean with lots of hot water. It is so easy for me to get to work from here and an easy Hner ride up from the station. It’s helpful to have free toiletries but I like the way it’s not in one use plastic but is refilled in the rooms. It’s so friendly and the lobby is always bright and colourful with great decorations. It’s so friendly is generally quiet and feels very safe.

- David (8/5): - Staff were amazing booked a twin room but given a double which the staff sorted…too a few attempts but nothing was too much trouble. Warning it’s in Bradfords clear air zone….just…20 metres to be precise. Don’t get caught out!
