- Mélanie (6/5): Départ pour la Ciudad Perdida - Nous avons dormi dans cet auberge de jeunesse car c'était le point de rendez-vous pour la randonnée vers la Ciudad Perdida. La chambre avec salle de bain était petite mais confortable. L'endroit est tranquille et à proximité du bord de mer et du Parque de Los Novios (restaurants et bars). .

- luis (4/5): Cerca del puerto pero lejos de la parte turística - Tienen consigna de equipaje que puede durar días para ir al tayrona y locker pequeños para valores, es una casona grande y muy vieja pero con cuartos muy muy pequeños, la zona es peligrosa por la noche.

- Doris (10/5): Diversidad - Es un excelente hotel ya que adicional del alojamiento, alli uno puede compartir con diversidad de culturas porque llegan de varios paises. Adicional el personal que atiende es muy calido y con una muy buena aptitud de servicio
- Verified traveler (2/5): Cámara de turista extraviada extrañamente - Nos fue bien en el hotel, pero tuvimos un robo. Mi amiga dejó su camara a una hora en la que solo habían 2-3 personas allí, yo llamé al hotel para preguntar por la cámara y me dijeron que no habían visto nada. Mi amiga llamó luego y le dijeron que alguien la tenía y le pidieron 150.000 pesos por ella, finalmente ella no obtuvo su cámara, perdió todas sus fotos de Colombia y quedó con mala impresión de lo que pasó! Si realmente no tuieran la culpa, huboeran mirado cámaras o hubieran hecho un esfuezo por ayudar, fue muy raro lo de la "recompensa"

- Sandra (6/5): Hotel agradable - Aunque el hotel no está cerca del Rodadero, es fácil abordar un transporte, la zona aunque al llegar un taxista nos mencionó que no era muy buena, no nos pareció y por eso decidimos pasar los 5 días y 4 noches en el lugar. La atención fue buena, los días que alcanzamos a desayunar o almorzar dentro del hotel, quedamos satisfechas y este queda cerca del centro y tiene muchos lugares cerca donde poder comprar chucherías o poder salir a comer.

- Jenna (2/5): Confian en el Miramar y se quedan en la calle. - Llegamos y se les había perdido la reserva. Nos metieron en un cuarto más feo, y prometieron que el día siguiente iban a meternos en un cuarto mejor. Llegó el día siguiente, y no, que fue imposible trasladarnos y dijeron que nadie había prometido absolutamente nada. Osea, no responden para nada, falta profesionalismo y compromiso y competencia total. Las condiciones del hostal también son muy feas -- el agua se riega en los baños, imposible cerrar las puertas bien. Tristemente, la peor parte de la experiencia en Santa Marta. Do not stay here. We arrived late one night to Santa Marta to be told that we didn't have a reservation. We showed them the reservation from hotels.com, but all they had were excuses about how they didn't have our reservation and it was definitely not their fault. They promised us a better room the next day. We repacked everything the morning after the first night, because we were told we would be switched to a better room. We were not, and the owner claimed she had never promised us anything and became very agitated with us. Overall, an uncomfortable, unprofessional, and incompetently managed hostel. It is worth paying a bit more for the peace of mind of knowing you will have a place to stay.

- Tommy (8/5): Boff.. - Points positifs: bien situé, personnel très aimable et serviable. La pièce commune est rassembleuse. Points négatifs: on entend littéralement tout ce qui se passe (murs faits de carton comme on dit). Tôt le matin, on se fait réveiller par un bruit de scie électrique et on entend les gens discuter dans la salle à déjeuner. Les oreillers sont... Ultra durs. La chambre est très petite.
- Verified traveler (4/5): Hotel Miramar - not compatible with hotels.com - Unfortunately when we arrived at Hotel Miramar they had no information about our reservation. They had not heard of hotels.Com. This was more of a hostel. Staff was very friendly and tried to help us, but they were sold out for the night. Hotels.Com was also very helpful in sorting the situation out right away. From what we saw of the lobby and one room, cleanliness was an issue. In the end we were happy to not stay here! Thanks again to the hotels.Com team for helping to ensure we weren't charged for this room.

- Verified traveler (8/5): Very good value! - A very budget friendly option in Santa Marta. Great value for the price and in an excellent location, just 2 min walk from the seafront. Rooms are small but very clean. Nice lobby/communal area and friendly, helpful staff. Really good juice in the cafe downstairs too!

- Verified traveler (6/5): you get what you pay for - you totally get what you pay for. when you're staying that close to the beach for only $20 per night US, you can't expect the a Hyatt/Westin. What you do get is a very awesome experience with people from around the world and the hotel staff that will go way out of their way to help you with anything you need. If you're on a budget and don't mind people enjoying themselves nightly, you'll have a great time. The hotel staff is the best.
