• Tania (10/5): Super clean, super comfy, super close to CBD. - We had the two bedroom apartment style room. It was a very large room, just like an apartment. It was super clean, very quiet day and night, everything you need in the kitchen, large rooms, large comfy beds, large bathroom. Lovely lady in reception. Perfect location, just 5minute walk for CBD. We couldn't fault it at all. No hair conditioner in the bathroom - but that's a really minor detail. Using just the shampoo provided was OK. Apart from that we couldn't fault the place.

Great value for money for this time of the year - no dislikes or constructive feedback for price paid.

Staff were exceptional from warm welcome in reception to the friendly and engaging domestic staff, all ready with a warm smile and wave, fantastic customer service. The weather!!!

The only downside was we had the room closest to the road, so had a fair bit of road noise to contend with, but it did quieter down eventually.

I then called the office first thing after they opened and explained our situation and asked if they might be able to allow us an early check-in. The gentleman I spoke with was so accommodating and lovely and was happy to help us out which we really appreciated. We booked a two bedroom suite and it was lovely and clean, tidy, spacious, large bathroom with a clean and functional kitchenette and comfortable beds and bedding. Condition is as per the photos on the site. It was a very comfortable stay Nothing at all. I would highly recommend this hotel.

• Graham (6/5): clean, friendly, good location, insufficient heating in the room - Very clean, good location, friendly staff In winter months I try to stay at a different motel in Invercargill. This is because my experience is that the Townsman is cold, and has insufficient heaters. My preferred motel was booked. Upon arrival the room was very cold. A single small heater was available, and a 'night store heater', (that isn't adjustable) was working. But the small heater wasn't going to heat the high ceiling living room, and the bedroom. So, I asked for another heater, and the two warmed the room.

Especially seeing the majority of Harley Davidson's in NZ were in town for the Burt. I was also riding (but not an HD). Overall good place to stay.
