Jola (7/5): This is a clean, convenient place to stay in the area. - The space was clean and close to food and sights in the area. Small problems, such as a noisy heating unit in the room that sounded like a jet on takeoff when is started. As to safety, at least two of the outlets in the room need to be replaced as they are unsafe and will not meet current electrical and fire codes. For convenience, the switch on the bedside lamp was broken.

I laughed when I found a folded, handwritten note in front of the TV, welcoming me, with a joke inside. Unique touch! The only thing that bothered me was that it was a long reach to the toilet paper. LOL! But the roll was easy to slide off the holder to a more convenient location.

Could have full size pillows, bigger and little softer bath towels and maybe not make it seem like you have to basically beg staff for them. Not to mention we picked chose to stay at this hotel because it had a pool, but the pool was ice cold and couldn't even use it for how cold it was. We reported it to the front desk and he didn't seem shocked that it wasn't a temp you would swim in.
Larry (6/5): Persistent HVAC noise in room 107 and poor handling of my room-change request. - Location was great for my purposes. McDonalds is next door. Scooters is just 0.2 miles away. I stayed in room 107 on February 20, the first of two nights. The HVAC system had a loud whining noise that was quite disturbing, so I informed the clerk on duty. He offered to move me to another room the following day. I left early the next morning and returned that afternoon, at which point I asked about changing rooms. The clerk told me I should have come to the desk that morning so they could arrange the move, clean the room, and have it ready to sell that night. I acknowledged that I must have misunderstood. However, he then told me there were no rooms available and that I would have to remain in room 107. This is where his explanation became inconsistent: if no rooms were available on the night of February 20, there would have been no room available for me to move into the next morning regardless of when I came to the desk. I had video documentation of the HVAC noise, which I showed to the clerk, but the issue was never resolved.

The bed was not made, and I took a picture of it, show it. Also, the guy at the front desk was not there. And when he did come, he was eating it.

Debbie (5/5): Not an overall good experience! Room was clean, our maid was very friendly! - Location Room was clean and a sweet note was left to enjoy our stay! We checked in later in the evening with the intention of having our two grandchildren swim while visiting with their parents. Adults were not planning on swimming. We were told we would have to pay an additional $10 apiece, which we were never told before coming. Very uncomfortable discussion with the clerk checking us in who kept pointing to the sign, which we had never seen since we had never stayed there before! Our daughter shared that this was something new, since she lived in the area and had been invited to swim by those staying at the hotel. The clerk took our money without giving us a receipt and threw it in the drawer. Not a good experience. Breakfast station was not looked after and restocked without me asking. I called about leaving my jacket, and spoke with a few people about the situation. I understand your new policy, it was how it was “enforced” that I did not appreciate! We are not sure if we will be back!

Came in 3 hours later and past normal check in time front desk gave me keys for room 216 and when we got to room found housekeeper in room she tried to get us another room that was already clean but supposedly there were none available so we sat in the second floor hallway for 20-30 minutes. It was not because of the housekeeper she tried to help.

Ronald (2/5): Look Elsewhere - This place is a dump - full stop. The towels are filthy, stained, see-through in spots, and should have been tossed out years ago. The sheets, the floors, the counter tops - filthy. The property is simply not maintained; the positive reviews are dubious at best. I am deleting my account after this review - I will never use this service again. My only hope here is that I save someone else from the horrid experience my family and I endured.
Gregg (4/5): - We arrived on a Saturday and were given a room. When we got to the room we noticed what looked like lipstick and maskara on the drapes. We were given a new room We dropped off our luggage and met our family. When we returned we found that the room we got had an unasable phone and the toilet was not bolted down on one side. Too late to change but were given a different foom that only had a wet floor after a heavy rain. Still waiting to see about some sort of compensation for having to move two different times. Not good experience but they had no problem with moving us. The breakfast is very poor.
Ross (4/5): - We stayed at this property two years ago and loved it. The price was double the amount this time but we felt it would still be worth it. Instead, it was twice the price and less than half the service. There was only one person working, he didn't have the hotels.com pricing in his system, and he had to physically go to our room to see if it was clean. He handed over the keys, verbally gave us the room number but gave no information about wi-fi, breakfast, etc. After asking and being told breakfast was till 10, I arrived at 9:36 and doors were closed and everything was put away. Because only one person was working, everyone coming to the desk had to call for assistance. I observed a man trying to resolve a valid complaint have his concerns brushed aside and not even get an apology. Cleanliness was adequate but bathroom vents need cleaning. If this were a budget hotel, I wouldn't mention this, but for the price, I was surprised that bathroom toiletries were from 4 different companies (even the shampoo and conditioner were different brands and fragrances). There is new management whose philosophy is not concerned about the customer. We come to the area every year, but we are not staying at this hotel again.

The absolute cheapest paper plates and plastic silverware you can think of. I’ve gotten better stuff from a gas station. Honestly for $800 for three nights and this is what we have to work with is pathetic. No room service during the day either. Towels are poor. Will not be back.

Strickland (1/5): The worst hotel experience! Filthy, rude and incompetent service. - Despite advertising breakfast _there was none. The customer service was by far the worst I have ever experienced. Rude, confused, missing key elements of checking people in. My family and I were almost positive there was no one working in the evening. And after having to call to the backroom for help checking in (a tv was playing and then someone came out and said give me a sec. Other than that 1 time seeing anyone in the front-there was never anyone there. The rooms, were beyond discussing. Cabinets all oily, food dropping on the walls, on the wall behind the trashed. The shower has huge soap streaks. I only received a couple bath towels, no hand or face towels. The bathroom soaps were incredibly tiny- not enough for 1 use. I also had no soap tray-so the soap just slipped around the vanity. The carpet and bathroom floors were sticky. A few pillow cases were stained-very much appears to not have been washed. Elevator does not display licenses and manual check. If it were checked there would not have been a broken and missing 'close door bottom". Which is absolutely crucial to manually controlling the door in the even of a fire. My sister and brother paid $35 TO CHECK IN EARLY. they were unprepared. Sent us to a room, where we waited outside for 10 minutes for it to be cleaned, to then have the cleaning lady say-"there was a mistake". I'll take you to the right room. Mind you we were 1 hour past our expected time of arrival-and still not ready. Once In their room. There was not a single towel. Eventually, after asking some were delivered. Their room as well- was a filthy as mine- with an additional clear scent of cigarettes lingering throughout the room. All around modifying! Incredibly disappointed as this was to be a relaxing night away. Tv only allowed some access. With no way to login to a streaming service (unless you brought your own fire stick). All insane and embarrassing . I will never recommend this hotel and it's chains to anyone traveling.

The pool towels were basically hand towels and had to be requested. The toiletries weren’t all that great, which is expected I guess. Anytime you need help you have to ring the phone at the front desk due to no one being up front to greet you and available. The first night when we checked in the staff was not super friendly or helpful with questions.
