- Guy (6/5): Stay was ok other than the showering incident. - Hotel is central to the city, 5 minute walk to bus station, close to food outlets etc The hotel is getting dated, the rooms are adequate but the bathing side is very dated and for my mind dangerous as they have shower over bath only, whilst they supply a non slip mat for the round bottomed bath, I (63 yr old) still slipped on the mat in the bath and injured my shoulder catching myself before falling completely out the bath (no grab rails) which would have resulted in more serious injury no doubt. At the very least I would suggest Wangcome update the baths to flat bottomed baths which are more safe to use...

- Avik (9/5): Great Central location in Chiang Rai - Location - walking distance from main attractions; very safe location surrounded with great restaurants. Breakfast was amazing and full of flavors and choices. Laundry, tours, night markets are all nearby. There were some ants in my room - perhaps the previous guest/s or lack of deep cleaning. Was not a big deal for me though.

Petit déjeuner assez correct meme si bcp moins de choix pour le continental que le local La clim dans la chambre est très bruyante même à l arret (impression d être dans un bateau) et donc difficile de dormir. La chasse d eau fonctionne vraient tres mal. Literie et oreillers durs. La piscine est à l ombre, entourée des tours de l hôtel par conséquent l eau est froide et on ne peut pas rester s y reposer sur les transats. C est un tres grand hôtel plus destiné au business qu au tourisme.

Very easy to walk to Night Bazaar, Saturday Walking Street, Clock Tower, restaurants, bars, etc. Plenty of parking right outside the door in two hotel parking lots, with security guard. Very good breakfast buffet was included with room. Try the Thai coffee or tea at breakfast (separate station next to egg station), better than the regular filtered coffee. I would stay here again. Local laundry shop just down the street. All good.

- Lucien (5/5): Back to the 70's - De locatie in het centrum is prima, een goed volledig ontbijt. Slechts 2 stopcontacten, ver van het bed. Op het verdiep boven onze kamer 547 zaten duiven ??? We betaalden voor Deluxe executive maar het leek alsof we terug in de jaren 70 waren aanbeland. Een donkere sombere kamer. Het personeel aan de receptie was niet geïnteresseerd in onze aanwezigheid.

- Neill (9/5): Great staff - The staff here were fantastic, I fell ill while here, and the staff went way beyond what is expected, to the point of accompanying me to the hospital, making sure I was ok, and offering to come back and pick me up when I was released. The room was a nice size, and wqs clean and comfortable. View over the road wasn't the best, but it was ok, it had a door for an adjoining room and a bit of noise from there, but again nothing troublesome. Its just finding something to write in the negative side.

- John (6/5): - I was still in the room when the maids try to open the door without knocking before checkout. On their 3rd try, I opened the door! I was trying to rest before my long drive - didn't happen. Checkin - 3 clerks on duty, but only one working while I stood and waited for the working clerk to finish with the guest in front of me while the other 2 just stood around. The hotel sells parking spaces to non-guests, but tried to charge my wife 40 baht. She straightened him out!!!

- Oakley (9/5): Very good - Very Pleasant stay staff were very friendly and helpful. We had to leave at 5am the next day so the staff pre made a breakfast / food bag for us to take which they didn’t have to do. Free amenities and location is a big plus also. I’d recommend for anyone staying in Chiang Rai. Can hear the odd outside noise throughout the night other then that there is no issues.
- SHINICHI (10/5): 決して新しいホテルではありませんが、若い時にあこがれた所です。 - 久しぶりのチェンラーｲでしたが、私のタイでのホームタウンです。初めて（５１年前）のように目を輝かせるものはありませんが、空気感が和みを与えてくれる街です。４回目の時（１９９２年）に初めてカメラを持参しました。あの小さな飛行場最後の顔合わせでした。翌年（１９９３年）１月には、現在の立派な飛行場が使われるようになっていました。 フェンスで囲われていましたが、中にはいれたので古い飛行場の滑走路を１往復しました。この時期は雨は一滴も降りません。ラオ（ラオス）のも入国出来て感慨深いたい定在でした。写真は多すぎてまた機会があれば。 タイのどこでもそうですが、ゴミや煙草のポイ捨てが多いです。
