- Gary (6/5): Slightly disappointed with amenities - The hotel in its day was probably quite glorious, however those days were many years ago. So disappointed to find no water in the pool. However the room Was spacious and good for a family travelling. Breakfast was also good. It’s a dry hotel so no alcohol was available for western travellers. Location wasn’t too bad. Many restaurants within a ten minute walk

- A. (10/5): - We stayed in a junior suite as a family of four (2 adults and 2 kids), and overall we had a really pleasant experience. The suite was spacious, with a separate kitchen and sitting area and 2 bedrooms. which made it feel more like an apartment than a hotel room. The beds were very comfortable with good quality mattresses – we all slept really well. The room was clean, although a few things were broken, like a cracked stove top in the kitchen. It's also worth noting that there were no dishes, cutlery, or cups provided, so keep that in mind if you plan to use the kitchen. At night, there was a loud buzzing noise from the air conditioning units outside on the roof, which might bother light sleepers. Breakfast was varied and tasty, with a nice mix of (warm) Tunisian dishes, salads, yogurt, eggs, and croissants. But what really stood out was the friendliness of the staff – everyone was incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. We would definitely come back!

- ismail82 (6/5): Pleasant and convenient stay for business trip - A delightful and convenient stay which is perfect for a business trip that is focused around the area of the hotel...the staff were extremely helpful and welcoming especially at breakfast buffet...only concern was the level of cleanliness of the rooms which can be lifted up much more and the quality of the facilities and the rooms which are in need of a serious upgrade and renovation.

- Go60600328308 (4/5): Disappointing Experience with Parking at Penthouse Ariana - We recently rented a conference room and additional rooms for our staff at Penthouse Ariana, expecting a smooth and professional experience. Unfortunately, we were surprised and disappointed to find out that we were not allowed access to the hotel's parking facilities. This was especially frustrating given the extreme heat in Tunis, as we needed a secure and shaded area for our vehicles. When we raised the issue, the only response we received was that we should park our cars outside the hotel, without any assurance of security. To make matters worse, no responsible hotel management was available to address our concerns, and we were left dealing solely with the security staff, who had no authority to resolve the issue. This lack of basic amenities and customer service is unacceptable, and we are genuinely upset by this experience.

Die Reinigungskraft machen ihre arbeit überhaupt nicht gut. das hotel nimmt von Gäste am ende steuer, gibts eig nirgendswo in Tunsien. außenpool war geschlossen (Baustelle) dies war nicht in der Beschreibung.. sonst was mir sehr gefallen hat das die Arbeiter dort sehr freundlich sind.

The front desk guy was so rude to the point he told me to go find the security guy to see if he would help with luggage. During the stay when I ask for something like towels, you would have to chase 2 to 3 people to get the service you want. I have asked for baby crib and all I got broken rusted crib with cloth sides that falls down. I had to have my sun sleep on the couch fearing from the sides and bed falling down and off the sides. We had suit for 4 and they always bringing towels and all other services for 2 people. I had to ask multiple times to get stuff in complete sets. The room is clean and breakfast is good but the hotties a bit smiley and kind of dirty.

Maybe it was the laid back culture, but we had to change rooms after constant communication of our lock not working. Our second room had a plumbing issue that was never addressed. The food overall was delicious and plentiful. The towels weren’t that clean. The front desk woman on staff (forgot her name) was the sweetest and tried her very best to make our stay pleasant, but she wasn’t always around when there was an issue due to scheduling. Our stay was overall ok.

- Linn (8/5): Visiting from UK - This is no 5 star hotel, more like a polished 3 star and customer service was poor (reception staff were frazzled and slow to respond). The hotel is used for rehabilitation of patients that have recently undergone surgery, we did not mind this but was surprised to see samples being taken out of the breakfast buffet for testing.. our room was nice and clean but the dim lights in the ceiling we were unable to switch off completely (assuming this may have to do with patient safety).Location wise it is convenient for the airport but otherwise not much around in this area, it’s a 20 min taxi ride into the town centre. Breakfast is ok but again was expecting more from a supposed 5 star hotel. Only stayed one night so did not get a chance to use any of the hotel facilities so cannot comment on those, based on the above would not stay in this hotel again

- MargaretinParis (8/5): Decent but hardly 5 stars - I stayed here for one night in August and got a nice welcome from Ismail at the front desk. I negotiated an upgrade with his boss on the phone who allowed it as I have Genius status on Booking. I visited a standard room which was quite nice and spacious (34m2) then went to my 2 room suite with 2 bedrooms, a living room, a big bathroom with a jacuzzi bath and huge kitchen plus an unfurnished terrace. There were two single beds in one bedroom and a double bed in the other one, both with TV screens on the wall. There were comfortable couches and a large screen TV in the living room. There was a washing machine in the kitchen which could be useful for long stays but there were practically no utensils or dishes. I had a look at the swimming pool which wasn't suitable for swimming lengths as it wasn't very big and the shallow end was roped off for children. I had completely forgotten that breakfast was included in the price so later on I ordered some strawberry juice (no oranges in Tunisia in the summer!), a cheese omelette and a plate of fruit from room service which arrived quickly. I went to take a shower in the fancy jacuzzi bathtub. There were no shower caps in the bathroom and housekeeping didn't have any either but the worst thing was that there was no hot water. A friendly lady came over to say goodbye to me as I left which was nice but I wouldn't stay here again unless I was sure they had hot water.

- si_sayyed (10/5): Penthouse Suites - I stayed for one night, the gentleman at the reception upgraded my room from a standard room to a suite, it was a very nice surprise, the suite is very big with a complete kitchen and it’s amenities, a huge tv screen in the living room and a main room with it’s tv screen too, the room was very clean and comfortable. The staff were very helpful and polite and hospital, the location is near a busy market with plenty of good restaurants and cafes.

No heater, water tape in the bathroom was not working and I have to stay until morning to change it. Shower tub was not draining the water very well. I spoke with the manager and he seems like he does not even care. So so so disappointed. Highly not recommend.

The staff are the most amazing I have ever met , starting from the security to the bellboy , the very professional receptionists( jamel and his colleagues ) , the housekeepers and their manager Insaf who try their best to keep the suite spotless clean and the waiters at the reataurant .... it is just an amazing place with best services and best personnel u can ever find in Tunis. Bravo the management of this place for employing such skilled and hard working people and building such a beautiful property where luxury is in every detail. Keep it up . All the best

- Husein (4/5): - Actual look not as display It took more than 6 hours for hotel to receive confirmation . I had to pay $400.00 deposit in order to let my family in the room despite showing them Expedia confirmation from my mobile. It is no where near 5 star maybe 3 Star. At night guests above making noises and movement of furniture very unpleasant. Nothing done despite complaints to reception. During the day heavy construction works taking place in floor below us hammering and drilling heavily all day. Kitchen poorly equipped had to ask for kettle and utensils. Breakfast too many items but poorly valued and organized, toaster not working they grilled it when requested the toast.

- Raghu (8/5): A smart place - A newish apart-suite tupe of place which is probably more conducive for family stay! No bar in the hotel & in the vicinity of it. Nice location with friendly staff.
- MohamedGhunaim (8/5): Minor errors that can be fixed - This Apartment hotel was a new experience for me in Tunis , the place claims it’s a five star hotel while it’s not , but to be honest , let’s start with The location It’s located in a very active area while the hotel street it self is quit Reception Very polite, try their best to help Apartment I was in a 3 bedroom apartment, dinning table, 2 master bathrooms with Jacuzzis ( not working properly) 2 large seating areas Flat TV in every room + one in living area Dinning table Large kitchen with everything thing available except cookware, cups Huge problems WiFi Very bad and always disconnects No hot water , they have a huge problem No sound proof , can hear next door Food Only one restaurant, very slow , not much options Overall, I will come again

- Ali (10/5): Huge 3 rooms apartment - It has 3 rooms, 2 bathrooms, a kitchen and a living and dining area. Both bathrooms have jacuzzi bathtubs. The kitchen is equipped with basic needs. The neighborhood is nice and quiet. Within a walkable distance from busy shopping street. The room service food is good and tasty.
- shomatoo (10/5): Big size apartment - A big size apartment with 3 bedrooms 2 bathrooms 1 toilet , afull size kitchen. Well maintained and clean, the bathrooms fitted with jacuzzi bathtub. A nice neighborhood quiet with nice cold wind all day long.

- GulamS (10/5): Great Stay - 2nd time round - This is our second stay at the Penthouse Suites in the 3 bedroom apartment. We chose this hotel again this year after our wonderful time last year with the facilities and service offered. 2 of us stayed for 11 days and extra 2 persons for 4 days. Reception The Reception desk of Johar and Mehdi were very helpful and accommodating. Our greatest appreciation to them. We attach a photo with Johar and Mohamed – Duty Manager who gave a tour of the meeting facilities and Suites available for our next trip to Tunis. Dining Room There has been a great improvement in the Dininig Room Service. We would put it down solely to the leadership of Chadly. We had some issues last year in the Dining Room service but this year it was excellent. He was on hand and know exactly what we required and service was very quick. Even with a football team in attendance, the service was excellent. Our appreciation to Mr Chadly. A photo is attached with him. Room Service Daily housekeeping and cleaning – done to excellent standard Finally our thanks to the Management for ensuring the standard of service in the Hotel
- Khaled (6/5): Bad experience - I have stayed at this hotel and the service keeps getting worse and worse. The reception Agents are exceptional but the management needs a lot of work. Never make A contract with them since they will never respect it. No gym no swimming pool and no special facilities.

- Ali (8/5): Pleasant night - Spent a pleasant night at The Penthouse. Almost everything was satisfying except there were no water bottles in the fridge as promised in the description. Also the breakfast at the restaurant, and the service left a small room for improvement. But all in all it was a good stay.

The quality of all the furniture was to a high standard. STAFF - The Reception staff were very helpful and particular credit goes to Abir supported by Jouhar and Mehdi. Very cheerful and always smiling and ready to assist CLEANLINESS - The room was cleaned every day and meticulously. RESTAURANT - Breakfast was buffet. Some issues with the staff attitude but this was quickly resolved by the Management. You have to insist on your requirement. OVERALL - Value for money

- Caesar (10/5): Above and beyond ... - The hotel is located in an upscale neighborhood of Tunis. Lots of entertainment, banks and other transportation near by. The hotel was fabulous and especially super great for families. The pool was awesome with a kids pool for those with the very young. Also we had 3 rooms in our Suite and comfortably fitted our family of 6 without us having to be in separate rooms. Each bedroom had a TV plus the living room had one too so no arguments over TV. We had a full kitchen so it was easy to bring back left overs from restaurants or to prepare stuff right there. It was an awesome place to stay. The place is built of solid stone so you do not hear any noise from any of the other rooms. We had two balconies that we could look over to the hills. Wonderful view. We absolutely loved it.
- zainouch (10/5): Very nice apart hotel with big rooms and friendly staff - This hotel was a very good discovery for us. The "rooms" are apartments, ours had a 2 person bedroom and a 1 person bedroom, a bathroom, kitchen and a living room area. There was also a huge terrace with furniture. The apartment was very comfortable, with good air conditioning, and well insulated. We didnt have any noise from neighbours or traffic at all. Bed was nice, internet was fast. Breakfast buffet was good. All you needed. The staff was very very friendly and helpful (not often the case in Tunisia)! Some points of criticism (no deal breakers for us): there are not many chairs on the swimming pool to lay down on, there is no cooking equipment in the kitchen (cutlery, plates, pans,...). You should also know that there is no alcohol in the hotel (as this is located in a residential area of Tunis).
