A/C worked well
Shower head had nice pressure Bed was a little firm but not too bad
- Chris (1/5): -
- Roselloza (6/5): -

- Rachel (10/5): - It very quiet. Bathroom is small but very clean.
- Danelle (8/5): Good value - The kitchenette was stocked with pots, pans, cutlery, plates, etc.
staff brought new towels and changed garbages daily without us having to ask Had to guy buy toilet paper and a plunger cause we couldn’t get ahold of staff our first morning and toilet got clogged… staff was unavailable due to cleaning rooms. No one at front desk during this time… front door to office was locked.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Easy check in/check out process. Bed super comfy, sheets are so soft and cozy. Love the rainfall showerhead. Great place to stay!
- Kathleen (10/5): Great stay - The room was very clean.

- Matthew (9/5): Good value for the price - Close to where I needed to be No regular cable
- Ingrid (7/5): Good -
- Esme (8/5): - The price
- Jessica (6/5): Cute room. - Daily house keeping, hardwood floors, the bed was comfortable, as well as the chair. Our room had a large tv and a kerig. The bathroom door needed a good cleaning... but that's just me being picky. My son and I really enjoyed our stay.
- Janice (8/5): - Nothing
- Donald (9/5): Will stay there again - Kitchen suite had everything you could want to cook anything. Nothing
- Terrence (10/5): - As motels go, it's of excellent value. While there's no perks like breakfast, it has a warm bed, good water pressure and clean. If all you need is that while visiting St Paul, this is a good spot to be, especially as it's a short walking distance to the UFO landing pad while youre waiting to be picked up on the next trip to Alpha Centauri
- Bernard (7/5): Good -
- Kelli (10/5): - This is my go to when travelling to St Paul. Cute Rooms, great shower, excellent staff.
- Troy (6/5): - Not the cleanest, but serves it’s purpose
- Randall (4/5): - Way too expensive for a low end motel
- Allison (9/5): Great value for the location and price. - Very friendly staff member at check in, very clean room, and was at a great location for the event we were attending. It was a little noisy - we could hear the people in the room next to us watching TV late at night but it wasn’t overly loud!
- Craig (8/5): - Staff were helpful and the cleanliness was great for an older motel
- Donna (6/5): Pleasant - Good price, friendly staff The room was clean but needed a good DEEP cleaning. Door jambs, doors, baseboard heaters all needed a deep clean. The bedding and towels were nice and fresh. Room did smell clean
- Roxane (5/5): please dont unless you just dont care - the window in the room was covered in dog drool or something like it.the beds were comfy though and the shower was amazing like a rainfall.tv sucked and coffee machine was grossly dirty and no ice machine even .went for the air show and sure wasnt worth the money as the next night for 12$ more we had a beautiful room in another hotel that had breakfast and ice even.plus it was spotless and comforting and a pool!!!! with no fear we werent gonna have door kicked in.sorry to say this place was like the worst part of detroit city.. no ice machine.drug use outside our door.no one around at nite for staff.couldnt even see out the window.pretty pricey due to air show in town so they knew they could gauge us.the host was great though and very kind.sadly i think he was everything.front desk.housekeeper etc.
- Järv (6/5): Pleasant -
- Joan (6/5): - Not as clean as should have been e. g. Thick dust along radiators. Bedding and towels were adequate. Older motel but shows some upgrading. Overpriced for condition.
- Sharon (8/5): - It was clean, just old. Let’s just say it wasn’t the Hilton.
- Shannon (4/5): - I guess you get what you pay for the room had lots of cobwebs and spiders. Beds were comfortable and clean. No hot water Even to wash your face never mind a shower, asked for a blow dryer to be put in room. There was no blow dryer.
- (katie) (8/5): Very good -
- Terry (8/5): Very good - clean and quiet for the most part nothing that I can think of
- Ian (10/5): Exceptional -
- Sai (7/5): Good -
- Maria (10/5): I had a friendly greeting when I arrived with my dog. The room was clean and comfortable. - The Lodge is across from the Baseball diamonds and other sporting facilities as well as the First UFO Landing monument and the Centennial Star of Canada. The area is very clean and quiet. The Lodge itself is clean and comfortable and my dog and I had a friendly welcome. I will stay there again. The lodge will need some updating in the near future but it did not affect my stay. Just an observation.
- Cherie (10/5): - .
- Lori (6/5): - It is clean very small rooms.
- Laura (8/5): - Although some of things are dated, it was clean and didn't smell in the room.
- Yvonne (8/5): - The room was big and very clean, comfy bed and great shower. Overall room was excellent. The only thing is the traffic was very loud.
- Amelia (6/5): Pleasant - Location was perfect for the purpose of your trip. Was close to amenities and our room was on the end of the facility, so not a lot of noises from other rooms around us, despite the motel being full that weekend.
Staff was friendly. When booking, the information said there was Free Wifi, but we could not find wifi information anywhere in our room. The cost was a little high for the type of property it was, but it was a full house weekend, so naturally prices will be higher than normal.
- Nicole (6/5): - It was a fine proerty to stay for a few nights while we were in town. Only downside was the air conditioner didn't work and it was 30 degrees outside. Also the outlet in the bathroom didn't work. But as just a room for a few nights it was definitely suitable. It was clean and thank goodness there was no carpet!
- Kelli (10/5): - I liked that it’s quiet, I didn’t hear anything during the night. It’s a nice property. The shower was amazing!
- Mary (1/5): Never again! Not worth the money they charged!Pretty old stinking dirty room!! - Convenient Pretty filthy, smelly old room!TV didn’t work so it was replaced, just old dirty filthy room!Old “boogers spit on the wall, floor sticky, splash’s on the dresser and wall, heating vents dirty, old dry sputum on the lamp and table it was sitting on.The owner?Didnt listen as to not bothering deep cleaning the room while we were out and cleaned it some what.Worst place I’ve ever stayed and it’s not worth the money !!
- Sweetheart (10/5): excellent -
- Harinder singh (2/5): - Guy at the propery very rude and non welcomng , i was doing booking online and he ask us to leave the office . Took customers granted having no professinsl ettiquetes . Will not reccomw t to enemy n future . No breakfast options a this price ,will never book in future. I uv to book this time i hv to book in emergency .
- Christopher (10/5): - Pulled in late needed a shower and place to rest. Was great little spot reasonably priced and very quiet never heard a thing all night. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay again.
- Betty-lou (10/5): Exceptional - We arrived at 1 am and had someone on hand to let us in. Very friendly place and clean Did not dislike any thing.
- Jason (8/5): - It’s nice to be able to park in front of the door to the hotel.
- Andor (6/5): Pleasant -
- Lijo (6/5): Pleasant -
- Dee-Jay (6/5): - check in was great - friendly staff.
A/C was hard to understand, couldn't get it to work
shower/bathroom was pretty dirty
- Amanda (6/5): Comfy but room needed a deep clean and some TLC - Bed was comfy We wore shoes the entire time we were there as the floors were sticky. Suite needed a deep clean such as bathroom fan, baseboards, under beds, floors scrubbed. At checkout (8:30am on Sunday) we tried calling the two numbers posted on the door and there was no answer. Had to leave keys in room. Room was beyond humid and had a musty smell. It was quite bad night one and once the a/c ran for a while, it helped. Bathroom needed grout in the floors - wore sandals in the shower.
- Lori (7/5): The bed where very good. Bathroom was very nice - There is no breakfast but the Wed said there was. Needs to be updated Hooked in the bathroom
- Margaret (10/5): - Good service clean and affordable
- Ben (9/5): Superb -
- Melanie (7/5): Good -
- Isidora (7/5): n/a - just convenient for us. n/a
- Cliff (8/5): Very good - It was clean and comfortable
- Craig (4/5): - I like the service of the manager letting me stay there on such short notice and he woke up to help me check in with a great deal. Although the room had a stench of urine, we enjoyed our stay.
- Norman (7/5): For a quiet room, good sleep and a quick shower, this hotel is fine. - 1. Convenient location. 2. Quiet. 3. Large room. 4. Good price. 5. Good bed and clean bedding. The lobby/check-in office area was locked and I had to read the instructions on the front door telling me the # to call for reception to come and get me checked in, etc. We arrived within the check in period cut off and I thought it was unusual that some one would not be there until 11 pm (check in time cut off). It also didn’t help that we arrived in pouring rain.
The washroom baseboards were filthy! Interesting baseboard heater in there as well. Glad I packed my hair dryer as there wasn’t one. Soap dispenser would be suggested as opposed to a bar of Irish Spring to use. I hope the next person using the room doesn’t use the soap that we used- and then what a waste if it’s thrown away.
- Sara (9/5): Great town great people great hotel lots to do - Charged a little more then expected but the hotel and its staff member was great Dave is a very nice talkative gentleman
- Lois (8/5): Nice motel with good facilities. - Looks old from the outside but all the fittings and facilities were quite new and worked well. Liked this place, it was good value. Not a great town. Very spread out with lots of Vape shops, pawn stores and cannabis places.
- Coulthard (8/5): Very good -
- Laura (6/5): - Check in was fine. Room was mostly clean (cups were disgusting). And was not partial to the air freshener used. Reminded me of what my MIL used to cover up the scent of cigarette smoke in her home. Clung to everything. Beds were comfortable. Maybe put a curtain on that back window that faces a wall. Weird to see it - kept expecting someone's face to appear. The area at night is a little uncomfortable. Did note the security cameras for the parking lot. I doubt many couples check in here as the check in person knew my name before I said it - he said everyone else was a single man. Quiet which was nice.
- Angel (8/5): - Front desk help was amazing, very friendly and was a great experience checking in and out. The room was very nice inside, could tell they put some love into the rooms and did some renovations. Was clean but not my kind of clean, felt very comfortable. Was very nice sitting outside enjoying the weather, was very quiet. Area seems a bit sketchy, don't want to be out at night walking around alone kind of feeling but I think that's all of St. Paul. Would defiantly stay there again.
- Tony (8/5): - The host was very accommodating.
- Ron (5/5): Passable -
- Terry (8/5): - Had to call cell to have someone meet me to check in.
- Donna (7/5): Good -
- Pamela (10/5): - Great little updated room. Will definitely stay again!
- Chelsey (8/5): - Nice and clean. Some recent updates, but definitely an older property.
- Brenda (9/5): Superb -
- Donald (9/5): Superb -
- Coulthard (7/5): Good -
- Gabriele (6/5): Not bad not good overall - No breakfast offered. Paid more through booking.com then actual amount at front desk The smell in the room smelled like cat litter before air freshner was provided for us.
- Jackson (6/5): - Was ok for a quick overnight stay, room was not the cleanest, and fixtures where tired but functional.
- Coulthard (7/5): Good -
- Larry (1/5): Booked for 3 nights, left after one - Not really anything. The room I reserved was not the room we got so we moved to a Single Queen room with no kitchenette. The whole room but especially the Bathroom was NOT clean. Behind the toilet hadn't been cleaned for years. Still hair on the floor from last guest... The room smelled bad with purfume scent to disguise it. Had booked for 3 nights, left after one
- john (4/5): - No one in the office. Had to phone then got cut off. Called a cell. Male answered unprofessional. Came to office in rough looking attire. Showed us the room. OLD OLD, clean bed and bathroom but need to detail the cleaning a lot better. yucky stuff on shower door, window sills dirty with dead flies, doors dirty and just about anything you would touch needs cleaning. Outside of the room was a large ashtray that need to be emptied. The sidewalk and area needs sweeping of cigarette butts etc. Will not stay there again. Get what you pay for.!!!
- Jim (8/5): - Met my needs
- Hunter (2/5): - The room stunk like cigarette smoke. The room was gross and barely clean and the manager was rude
- Veronica (10/5): Exceptional - I liked our rm ; Nothing really
- Michelle (6/5): friendly staff! went above and beyond - large comfortable rooms washroom full of cobwebs
- Brent (2/5): - Partying all night and doors slamming not Kewl
- Brent (8/5): - Although this is an older motel it is comfortable and the beds are awesome. Weighted comforter made me sleep like a baby
- Verified traveler (4/5): Dirty ! - This hotel definitely lacks in the cleanliness dept. The sheets were freshly washed it seemed but the floor, toilet, shower and basically the whole room was otherwise missed by the maid . Would not Recommend this motel at all .
- Edwin (6/5): Had Potential, but more cleaning required. - The room was recently renovated and parking was convenient. Shower head was high up, so can actually stand under it. However the room smelled of smoke and cleaning was just spot cleaning, as parts of the room had not been cleaned for days.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Staff Member was exceptionally pleasant and helpful. Although not specifically the property’s problem but dog poop was left behind by other guests. Maybe policing and charges to the rooms of the offending people should be in place.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - nice and clean. Roomy, owner provided a gift basket of goodies
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Bathroom upgraded and very clean room Pleasantly surprised
- Verified traveler (8/5): - This is an older motel. But the room was updated and very clean. The staff was also very helpful. I was pleased with my stay there.
- Tricia (6/5): Great room! - While I was a little worried by the outside you can’t judge a book by its cover. The room was spacious with lots of room to move around the 2 queen beds. A full kitchenette, table and chairs, dresser, and a better shower head than in my own house!
- Verified traveler (4/5): Expectations not met - We booked this through Expedia and selected a "superior room" with 2 queens and full kitchenette. We arrived and were a little shocked by the appearance of the motel (not a lodge for sure) and we also got a shock when we opened the door to our room and found 2 double beds. They didn't have queens on this location for us and this was the best room they offered. It was far from clean, it smelled like someone sprayed a cleaner in here but upon initial inspection we had to give it a wipe down ourselves. Unfortunately due to the events going on around St. Paul that weekend we had no choice but to stay here. We crammed our family in and made due but the inability to control the heat, the size of the beds, and the cleanliness of the hotel made this a definite cross off the list for any future visits. We would take a 45 minute drive over having to be here again.
Hotel is staffed by one individual and do not expect bang for your buck with the breakfast bar - Costco muffins, fruit loops, and bagels. Be forewarned that the office is not open until 8am on Sundays and if you were expecting a cup of coffee from the breakfast bar, it might 8:30/8:45 Sundays.
Disappointed that what we signed up for and paid for was not even close to the expectations set out.
- K (6/5): quiet best suited for contract workers - When we first arrived our room was not cleaned at which time the gave us a new room. The fully stocked kitchen with appliances and dishes is only stocked for 2-3 people max. Getting extra items for the room was hard as the staff did not know where extras are stored. Our oven did not work all weekend and we ended up cooking in the communal breakfast room. The Beds advertised as queens are truly only a double so plan accordingly. The room is only cleaned via garbage's daily there is no cleaning of the floors, replacement of towels, or making of the beds. there is no broom or extra bags for garbage's in the room so you can not even clean yourself. There is no bath tubs only a large shower.
These rooms are quiet and you hear no one as all the workers leave in the am and return in the pm.
The weekend staff is friendly and tries to help but is not privy to where everything is stored.
- Noreen (8/5): I enjoyed my stay! Staff were amazing! - It was a good size room and I was comfortable. Neat and clean. Staff were amazing! Nice rhat a breakfast was included.
