- Karen (10/5): Loved our stay at Tafoni- in addition to the wonderful room and staff, it was quiet but readily walkable to restaurants - Beautiful, comfortable and thoughtfully decorated room, as well as a large bath with an extraordinary jacuzzi tub. The staff were wonderfully kind and attentive and the breakfast buffet was lovely. The chef was also great for dinner. Would highly recommend.

It is truly a cave hotel experience and the value for the money unbeatable. - This is a property, whose elegance and charm come to life in the soft light of the evenings. We loved the fire pit outside where we could sit for digestifs and listen to music. We loved the elegance of the rooms and the comfort of the beds. The staff was attentive and we felt enveloped by their wonderful hospitality. I did not hear clearly that in order to have housekeeping service, we needed to request it by putting the card on the door knob outside our room. We didn't figure that out until the last day, so we were a little surprised when there was no housekeeping for three days. Of course, requesting housekeeping solves that problem!

- Dana (8/5): Do not expect a view, but do enjoy the quaint rooms, the friendly personnel and the great food - Very picturesque rooms Very friendly and helpful personnel, at the reception as well as in the restaurant It is a small hotel so it was always very quiet, felt like we were the only people staying Delicious food and huge servings both for breakfast and for dinner I was expecting a room with a view, preferably toward the baloons. I do not think any room has a view, the windows are small and you see just the rocks outside. There is no roof terrace or anything similar. The town in which the hotel is located is not the main in the area, which makes it quiet but sometimes a little too quiet. A little outdated for what is supposed to be a 5* hotel.

First of all, very helpful and kind staff, amazing breakfast, amazing rooms(jacuzzi and fireplace in a cave! Wow!) and amazing (Testi Kebabi). All the furniture's and everything was quite comfy. I can only mention the location. Its not in Ürgüp or Göreme, in the middle. You need a car but you already see this before booking so, I was with a car and prepared. Did it worth to commute? YES, Indeed.

The hotel has a restaurant that is beautiful and offers an exceptional breakfast every morning. The staff went OUT OF THEIR WAY to make sure we had everything we needed everyday, and they organised all our transfers and activities for us so we only had to speak to 1 person over Whatsapp message through our whole trip to Cappadocia.

- Merve (10/5): The best hotel in this town! - Fantastic hotel. It is located in a pittoresk town, a short driving distance from göreme and other towns. Loved the room. It was super specious, clean and well decorated. We had a shower/bath and additional a bubble bath, fresh fruit in the room, and nice toiletries. The breakfast was also very delicious. And the staff was very friendly. It was overall a very calm town and therefore a very silent hotel, which we were looking for. The restaurant was also very beautiful. We ate one of the best burgers in Turkey (heads up to the great chef of this hotel). We have been fully rested after our stay here. Would definitely recommended it for a short or longer stay in cappadocia. The only thing we noticed during our stay is that the blankets probably do not have down filling. We became a bit sweaty without the airconditioning because of this, but this is a very detailed con to mention.

- Koro (6/5): Location not ideal. - Large bed. Location not ideal i.e. couldn’t walk anywhere. Always required a taxi. Air Conditioning in the room wasn’t great. At best it was good in the hot conditions. Lots of stairs at property.
- Gaurang (10/5): Lovely Boutique Hotel in Cappadocia - Lovely boutique hotel featuring authentic caves room. Staff was amazing and welcoming. They were always around to take care of requirements and wish list of our group. Owner treated entire staff as family and it was obvious from how staff worked with us. Nothing …. Hotel staff would always ready to drive us for short distance excursion as courtesy, so not having car with us wasn’t an issue.

- David (9/5): Excellent facilities and value, great atmosphere. - Facilities and atmosphere. Range of spaces to sit. We had a small Turkish bath and jacuzzi in our room which was on two levels. Several seating terraces. Attentive and helpful staff. Good restaurant. Quiet town - not flooded with tourists. Slightly remote from the rest of the town, at the foot of hill, without a vehicle. Not actually too much of an issue for us as we had transport during the day but may not suit everyone without access to a vehicle. However, I think a lot of cave premises are in the same situation. So, no issue if you have transport.
- Ron (9/5): Superb - The staff, especially Duran, Fatos and Samet were welcoming and friendly. They were ready to meet any request with a smile. Nothing comes to mind.

- Leslie (10/5): Everything we needed but more time - Tafoni is close to everything we wanted to do. We especially enjoyed the breakfast in the garden...so homey with the pretty little birds. In a cave hotel, I suppose each room is different, but ours were both beautifully furnished and filled with extra touches. Their help with ballooning was definitely needed...it helps to have an advocate who speaks Turkish :) My husband booked too short of a stay. There were some cave churches we couldn't get to because of time.

- Perotin (10/5): Want and need to return to spend more time - My stay at Tafoni House was a last-minute decision. What a fantastic decision. The only problem was my stay was too short. The destination, hotel, food, and friendly and kind-hearted locals! Since it was a last min decision to visit the area, I spoke with the staff, who arranged a wonderful excursion, including a morning Balloon ride viewing the stunning scenery. I need/want to return to spend more time in the area. Shout out to the Owner Ferit, Chef Sadi (A true magician), and our waiter Samet! A different recommendation from me. One last thought, I was a little nervous about claustrophobia in the cave room; I had a window and did not feel closed, and it was absolute comfort! Honestly, there was nothing I didn't like. If I had to list one thing, it was I did not spend enough time at the destination. There is so much to do in the area.
- Verified traveler (10/5): A perfect hotel in Cappadocia! - It was one of my favourite hotel I ever stayed. Hotel was beautiful. The staff were very kind and friendly. We arrived in the late evening but we were welcomed by the staff and the manager with tea and snacks. The hotel was renovated from three cave houses to the current hotel and I was interested in details of those cave dwellings so the manager was kind enough to show us all the rooms that were not occupied and the church that was in the property. All of the rooms had very unique stories and details with beautiful finishes. Most interesting part for me was the cave that was used to be a hidden church which was left untouched and the manager was very kind to show us the place. The location was also perfect, very quite and private. The view of local cave houses and cliff were also beautiful.
- Bob (6/5): Very nice people but lot of stairs. - Not located convenient to attractions such as Gureme, Staff gave us rides to Gureme. Nice touch.
- Crystal (6/5): Unique cave hotel - Great location - close to all attractions yet not in the most touristy spot like Gorem. Our suite has a luxerious look, spacious, cave yet very much updated. Great lightings in the room.
