Jenny (1/5): Didn’t even stay - nothing i arrived around 4:15 am and booked my room a little after midnight and i get to the hotel i can’t check into my room because they moved there computer to the next day or whatever. i already paid online and still haven’t got my money back because the property doesn’t answer there phone. i should get my money back for a room i was not able to stay in.

Lisa (3/5): The room was very clean but there was water pressure issues in bathroom - The manager that checked us in was amazing and very accommodating and friendly. The toilet wouldn’t flush and there was a pounding sound she. The water pressure wouldn’t work and I am very allergic to weed and we informed a male worker with painted rainbow nails whom wouldn’t speak to us about the situation and he said he doesn’t know what to do about it and I had hives all over my neck and chest from the weed. Since we felt unheard and not listened to we left at 6 am

188curtisa (2/5): Rooms come with Bed Bugs - Beware of BED BUGS!!! Booked for 2 nights and only stayed one. After reports of bed bugs from 4 other guests of this hotel I did a thorough search of room 315 and found a live and a dead bed bug - see picture. After my son saw the bed bugs himself there was no way we were staying another night. Turns out it was too late. The bed bugs had got me. See 2nd picture for one of the bites I received. Yes, I received multiple bites and if you are wondering they are itchy. I called the hotel manager on Monday morning and asked for a refund and she said that they had a "3rd party" inspecting the room and wouldn't do refunds without corporate's approval. I was informed 2 days later that the company they paid to inspect the rooms didn't find any evidence of bed bugs in any of the 5 rooms that complained. Go figure. I appealed to Legacy Management, their corporate company, and they hired the same company to come back out and issue the same conclusion. I can tell you I didn't take the dead or the live bed bug with me. Either the company they paid gave them the answer they wanted or they actually deep cleaned the rooms, which would have been the first time in a long while. At this point I am reserved to the reality that I won't be receiving my money back. Lesson learned. I urge those reading this to avoid the same fate I suffered. It is clear that this hotel will go to great lengths to avoid doing the right thing for their customers. I'm sure they will post a response that they take cleanliness seriously and they value their customers. I'm still waiting on the report they offered to share with me from the company they paid to give them the information they wanted to get. I wonder if it will be written on MyPlace letterhead. Its your decision if you choose to stay at this hotel, but don't say you weren't warned.
Schulz (4/5): - Location Blind was broke in the first room we were checked in to so they switched us to a different room, they wouldn't switch to a double queen room when we had unexpected stay from our dad being in the hospital because we booked online, even though there were plenty of vacancies.

Britzman (9/5): Oops. - Almost all was good. I booked an extra day. I needed to arrive a day earlier than my already booked reservation. This didnt get added or communicated and staff was not aware. So at 9:45 i was woken and needed to go down to the desk to sign papers. Basically, the communication broke down. This does happen, but at the time, i was not too pleased with MY PLACE.lol.

Nick R (10/5): Great value for a clean and comfortable hotel - My Place was a great value for a two night stay in Fargo, although it's generally an extended stay hotel. Check in was easy and the room was very clean and comfortable. No free breakfast included, but a few walkable options nearly (Caribou, Meg A Latte, McDonalds). USB ports next to the bed. The pillows were all lumpy. I wish there had been one that was smoother and not so tall.

Teresa (8/5): Very nice hotel - The beds are very comfortable and the room was clean. It was a great size and had a nice little kitchen area. The only problem was the shower. The bath spigot did not fully go up to the shower so water was continuously running and would stop the plug so the bathtub would fill. Once I open up the plug water drain fine just a little slow.
Brad (2/5): - Went up to our room… door was not latched, pushed the door open to a smoke smell in the room and one of the beds was all wrinkled up like someone was lying on the top of the comforter. Went back down and asked Nathen for another room because that room was not clean, he had to go up and check because he didn’t have another room available, then got back to the front desk and told us the room looked fine to him and he couldn’t smell the smoke. Needless to say we were very disappointed and had to leave. We never did stay in that room that night and are in the process of getting our money back. We will never stay at another My Place hotel again, until this gets resolved. Thanks

The parking lot was poorly marked—lines were barely visible—so cars were parked haphazardly. Water pressure in the bathroom was very weak, and the cabinets in the kitchenette felt sticky to the touch, suggesting they hadn’t been properly cleaned. Staff was very pleasant.

Hotels.com had a call into the hotel to set up a meeting to visit with the manager since they are only in during the morning and that meeting never occurred. I had also cancelled my reservation in a timely manner and I was still charged even confirmation that the reservation cancellation time was at a certain time…..apparently not true.

Matthew (2/5): - My stay was terrible. Disgusting, unclean room was in no condition to stay. I was offered another room that did not have working air conditioning. I left after a few hours and I am currently awaiting a full refund.

Julie (4/5): - When I went to my room there was a marijuana smell in the hallway. I called down to the front desk and the guy came up and told me it’s common people smoke it outside then come in and makes the smell. I went to my room and went to bed. Woke up this morning and I could smell it strongly in my bed. The worker claimed there is no smoking in hotel and it wasn’t happening. So at 6am I packed up me and my 11 week old baby and went to my dad’s hospital room across the street. The whole hallways was hazed with smoke it was clear someone had been smoking. I probably should have just called the police. If you don’t like being subject to second hand marijuana smoke, stay elsewhere
threesixty5 (10/5): Pet friendly, affordable, clean & friendly staff! - The entire staff was super welcoming and friendly. I originally was going to book at a different hotel until I talked to Jeanine. She was so friendly and accommodating. Once I arrived, the staff was friendly and kind. I stay at hotels all over the world and this is some of the best service I’ve ever received. I highly recommend this My Place in Fargo!

Steve (7/5): Comfortable Rooms, but with Thin Walls - The room was very clean, and the bed was exceptionally comfortable. The walls between the rooms are not well soundproofed. I could hear everything the neighbors said and did all night.
