• Nate (9/5): We had a wondeful stay at the Plateau Rose. The staff was amazing, the breakfast was great, and the location and view ar - The location and view was amazing. The staff was wonderful as well. We really enjoyed the breakfast and we used the spa area which seems brand new and was very well done! The bathroom ceiling was the roofline of the building and unfortunately it made it very difficult to shower since I could not stand up. I am 6’ tall.

• Petr (9/5): Gutes Hotel für Skifahrer - Eine ideale Unterkunft wenn man zum Skifahren in Zermatt ist. Die Talstation der Klein-Matterhornbahn ist etwa 100 m weit. Die Piste am Abend endent etwa 200 m weit. Das Hotel hat eine Sauna zum entspannen nach dem Skitag. Skiraum mit Skischuheheizung. WiFi vorhanden. Vom Frühstückraum (Fenstertische) tolle Aussicht auf Matterhorn. Nichts zu beanstanden.

• Philip (8/5): Comfortable, convenient and practical. - The staff are excellent - the emails and information we received before our late arrival were most helpful, and we received good advice and assistance throughout our stay. The hotel is comfortable, warm and well positioned near the ski lift, with an excellent view of the Matterhorn. Facilities are good. The breakfast was fine but a bit limited.

Absolutely incredible view of the matterhorn. The size of the balcony was great for sitting out and looking at the incredible view. The size of the room was good and I loved having the option of a bath as well as the shower. The location was great (right by the lifts to the mountains to ski). The overall vibe of the place was lovely. A really small thing- I wanted a kettle to make a tea! This might just be me being English though and I understand Switzerland may not always offer kettles in hotels. Only one pillow which was quite uncomfortable. Actual bed was comfy though.

• Katinka (8/5): Prima locatie voor een nacht! - Zeer dichtbij lift. Aardige mensen. Prima verzorgd ontbijt. Rumoer in en rondom het hotel. Kamer naast de lift, die maakt natuurlijk wel wat geluid. Ook was kamer aan straatzijde, daardoor komen geluiden binnen. Geen koffie en thee op kamer, wel een watertje; dat maakt wat goed 😀 Muziek tijdens ontbijt haperde met regelmaat, voor velen vast niet storend: voor mij toch wel.

• DYANA (8/5): - Room was clean, comfortable and up to date. We did not have to use the heater at all, woke up on our last morning to 29 degrees and snow, room still warm. Staff very pleasant, good breakfast. If you are tall, you do not want room 31, roof is slanted. In shower you can almost reach the sky light, had to hold shower sprayer, to use due to it not being mounted high enough, the class enclosure, when the water hit it, water ran down to the floor.

• Shereese (10/5): - Where do I start?! I’m so happy I went with Plateau-Rosa for my birthday trip! It was exactly what I was looking for - quiet, relaxing, and with a great view of the Matterhorn. I was warmly greeted by Pierre at the front desk and shown to my room, which was tidy, bright, and had a large balcony. Location-wise, it’s about 20 mins walk from the train station though there’s a bus. I didn’t mind walking as I got to look around. The hotel is located right across from the cable car station so ideal for heading up to Glacier paradise. You can also go for a hike on the hill across from the hotel (I snapped a pic of the hotel from there). The spa with sauna is tiny but really comfy - I guess I benefited from going during the offseason! Breakfast options were great especially the various Swiss breads you could try and the staff there was always kind and helpful. If returning to Zermatt or recommending to someone else, without a doubt I’d recommend Plateau-Rosa!

• Sciamin (10/5): - Sehr gutes, reichhaltiges -Frühstücks Büffet. Wunderbare, unverbaute Aussicht aufs Matterhorn sogar liegend vom Bett und natürlich vom Balkon und auch vom Frühstücksraum aus. Äusserst freundlicher Empfang, sehr nettes Personal. Tolle Lage einerseits Nahe an den Bergbahnen, andererseits vom Bahnhof mit Gepäck gut erreichbar mit dem Bus, zu Fuss 10 Minuten vom Dorfzentrum entfernt.
• Colette Vorster (10/5): A Gem in Zermatt - An awesome hotel, situated out of the hustle and bustle of Zermatt, with a great view of the Matterhorn. Rooms are comfortable and the extra details a treat. Michael was a lovely host, gave us lots of information on the cable cars and sites to see. The staff was very friendly and helpfull. Breakfast was delicious with a wide variety to eat. Near to a cable car station and 10 minutes walk to the centre of Zermatt. Highly recommend this hotel.

It is quite a hike to the hotel from the train station so you may want to take a taxi to the hotel with your luggage. Breakfast was good and breakfast room had big picture windows with a view of the Madderhorn.

And the fact that you have no other building between your room and Matterhorn, what more would you want. I want to go back there again soon even with exorbitant price in Switzerland.

• Oriane (9/5): - Petit hôtel confortable avec pour certaines chambres une vue imprenable sur le mont Cervin. Les chambres ne sont pas très grandes mais tout à fait confortables, mention spéciale pour la literie. L'accueil et la gentillesse du personnel est aussi un sacré plus, un grand merci pour cela. L'hôtel est au pied des remontées mécaniques pour le Scharwsee, et par conséquent un peu éloigné du centre.
