• Allison (10/5): Value. Value. Value. - Walking in to the hotel, I was immediately greeted with the smell of cleanliness and the physical surroundings were just as kempt and tidy. When traveling and visiting places, the hygiene standards is what attracts me and they exceeded those expectations. The staff are courteous, kind, helpful and overall doing a fantastic job of keeping their hotel running with pride. The breakfast was simple with a balanced mix of hot/cold and healthy alternatives. I think it hits just what one needs to start the day. Our room was just as clean and tidy as the lobby from dusting to properly cleaning the floors. From the top to the bottom, this place is a well-running organization and again, the pride in what they do, shows. Will most certainly return when we are visiting NSB since its out of the ruckus and fray, of being near the coagulated/congested people-filled areas of the beachside. Its set far away enough to offer the peaceful vibes of a quiet town and close enough to get the beach scene/downtown exposure. Thank you to the staff who keep the comforts of home and the courtesy to match. N/A

• Meriangel (1/5): Way Over priced & Extremely noisy 7 stay at the UN-Best Western. - Nothing much "like worthy" so I'm starting with the only bad. The grounds need landscaping. All kinds of weeds, dead palms, dying parts of a hedge, parking lot wax completely littered every single day with fast food containers & pizza boxes. The rooms in the hotel are very very loud. The doors to the rooms slam shut all night long & during the day people just walk out of their rooms & let the doors slam behind them. Not once did we slam our door, we pulled our door shut quietly so we know other people can do the same thing. House keeping is good, nice cleaning people, however they also yell on spanish to each other back & forth & bang their carts pretty loud into the walls, it was not pleasant to stay somewhat so noisy especially since I was there because my husband passed away SO quiter would have bee nice. The people staying there also yell back & forth to each other down the hallway it was really bad. The hotel rooms need remodeling, they are aging & need work, alot of dust, the air conditioner blows cold air which was great but it's old rusty & flaking metal coming off it. Beds are comfortable but they use sheer curtains for a too sheet cover, queen-sized beds had standard suxec pillows instead of queen & the pillow cases didn't fit they were way too big. Bathrooms need remodeling as well bathtub is permanently stained & shower curtains are horrible & need to be replaced. NOW for the price gouging, I should report that because for 7 nights for a hotel stay with no bar, no room service, & a pool in front in the parking lot should NOT cost someone 1400.00 😳😳 Yep! I got no senior discount or discount for booking 7 nights there were no special events in town & the hotel was not busy at all so why 1400.00+ dollars. My husband passing & me just selling our home is why I needed a place to stay while transitioning to a new home. 1400+ dollars was shocking & hurt my budget. It's ALL TYPED ADOVE ⬆️

But for me the staff were the highlight. Special thanks to Amber and jj who were outstanding at there jobs.

Practical facilities and manageable. Good idea getting rid of coffee machines in rooms. No fitness center and jacuzzi good idea. Less problems to deal with.

The people managing (desk, dining room) were kind, friendly and very helpful. Super comfortable and clean room with everything that we needed. We can't think of anything. But in fairness, I just did a quick glance at the breakfast bar and nothing seemed inviting. But, very clean and attended to. Busy, so most people must have enjoyed it.

• JoAnne (3/5): This was a surprisingly bad hotel stay. - We wanted to stay in Edgewater and that's where the motel was. It was a Best Western so we thought it'd be ok. Booking.com showed a decent rating. Who would have guessed? We were likely the ONLY one in the motel. Signs everywhere saying "under renovation" In the room a sign saying, if you want coffee in your room, ask the front desk. Who does that? But the corker was the TV. It was not set up properly. When turned on it literally screamed at you. Try to change the channel and it would scream. Try to change the volume and it would scream. We asked the front desk for help but she couldn't do anything. No instructions and no warning. That made for a very unpleasant experience. Definitely not Best Western quality at the rate we paid. Booking.com should followup.

The not-so-good: Couldn't check in 30 minutes early unless we paid an additional fee $25 - when there were only 3 cars in the lot. Not the front desk attendants fault, computer would automatically add. Being a Rewards Member doesn't matter. NO COFFEE IN THE ROOMS. They do have in the lobby, but I haven't stayed in a motel/hotel with no coffee in rooms in the last 35 yrs. I mean, come on... Breakfast...was not great. TV - turned on, but we were never able to get any channels to tune in. Too late at night to call the front desk.

The location was in a safe place and convenient to the highway and stores. Would absolutely stay here again if in the area.
• Debra (10/5): - The bikers, from what it sounds like, visit this location often. They park in the handicap area and there is no handicap sticker or placard on the bike. My husband has a plcard and sticker due to his condition. I dont think this is fair, they park when THEY are riding a Harley Davidson motorcycle with a rider and my husband has issues with walking.

You could hear loud guests on both sides of the room. - Desk employee was helpful w/recommending dining spots and quieting down loud brat kids in 204 at 1am 3-22-25 Elevator broke the day we arrived and did not function for the rest of our stay. I was going through a back sprain and didn't appreciate carrying luggage up and down stairs!!!!

I felt it was a safe area to rest in, and walked a block to the Chik Fil A at night. And traveling alone as a "slightly" senior woman that was a bonus. Now I am almost 6 foot tall with my motorcycle boots on and carrying a concealed gun. I was completely satisfied with my 2 night stay.
