Guest Reviews
- Kerriem (4/5): A HAVEN FOR TRANSIENTS - This hotel was clearly a former hub of drug and criminal activity: as was evident by the guard attended gate, occasional prostitute roaming the walkways, and restriction on having visitors in your room after 9 pm. The property is slightly run down, but the room was comfortable. This hotel is not a vacation destination. Its primarily for transients who need a cheap and somewhat safe place to stay. HAVEN hotel is the perfect name for it.
- Corrin (10/5): DROP THE PRICE AFTER SEVERAL NIGHTS. - I have spent about four wonderful days. The Room 339 was very clean. The phone did not work, I did not see any ice. There was a bucket for ice. But I did not see any ice nor did anyone point the ice out to me. The bathroom pipe was a little out of order. It needed to be fixed. ALL IN ALL I enjoyed my stay. I have a suggestion. WHEN SOMEONE SPENDS FOUR NIGHTS MANAGEMENT SHOULD DROP THE PRICE A LITTLE.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Microwave was broken, the floor was unswept and not mopped even had to go to the office ask for tissue. This stay wasnt the greatest
- Verified traveler (2/5): - Roaches
- Antonya (2/5): - The room had roaches! The shower and refrigerator did not work
- Branden (2/5): Getto Train Wreck Inn - Showed up and just wanted to sleep. One person approached my family and I and reeked of alcohol saying he was the maintenance guy. After being approached by him a few times we finally made it to the room it seemed as if everyone was nosie and was trying to look into our window. As we tried to go to sleep it seemed as if everyone wanted to argue and be loud. Worst place for the money. Will not stay again.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Amazing
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Good
- anthony (8/5): Decent stay - Wasn’t really in a good area, but overall I was satisfied with my stay
- Leon (6/5): Hotel - It was cheap and saved on money.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Ehhh - We arrived at 1am and we left at 7am, we literally got there, got in bed, slept, woke up, and left. When we were met by security and had to pass through a gated guarded area it kinda made me feel uneasy like we weren’t safe. At the check in area there was extremely loud music that Was so loud you could feel the bass booming. When we got in our room I noticed there was some incense’ stuck in the wall, I checked the beds For bugs like I do everywhere and didn’t see anything, but we woke up with weird bug bites. For the price it did it’s job. I wouldn’t want to stay there any longer than we did. I kept waking up all night due to loud music, loud people, loud cars, but I just dealt and would try to go back to sleep.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - This property alone with the OYO property across I-20 is the worst hotel I've ever visited. The Haven Inn on Wesley Chapel was inconsiderate of me being a working guset. I had to wait till Tuesday or Friday to get my room clean. That means I would have to inter and unclean room 5 days a week. I informed the office that a was getting knocking on my door all times of night from the people looking for the room next door where drugs was being sold. I could never get maintenance for clogged tub or sink. I had to go to another room to get ready for work when my lights went out in my room because the hotel could get anyone to come fix the problem. The hotel has vagrants hanging out all the time. I leave at 5 in the morning. That can be scary. I found out the reason I was treated do bad and cursed out by the room attendant is because the male indian guy is sleeping with her. If you can see my itinerary for this hotel you will see I spent a lot of money there and I refer ever doing so alone with moving to that drug invested area Period. Thanks for nothing
- Verified traveler (2/5): - DISCUSSED with the way I was treated. The hotel is in a drug infested area. Property manager turns a blind eye to the selling of drugs and the vagrants
- Verified traveler (4/5): - There was a previous review that I have made about one of the housekeepers. I explained how she use profanity towards me yesterday Saturday the 3rd. She called me B's and o's. When I returned to the hotel this evening from work, I noticed that my room haven't been clean but housekeeping left towels so I go to the office to notify the office. Front desk informed me that housekeeping will be around to make my beds. And it was the same young lady. So that means whatever issues this young lady has she's continuing to have them now my room is not getting clean because of whatever issues she has I'm surprised that she still a housekeeper at the cursing against out the way she did that was very inappropriate and it seems as if the hotel doesn't care but I spend two to three hundred dollars every two days. I'm only in a hotel until my place of residence is ready but I would think twice about making reservation to this hotel again.
- Glenn (2/5): Unsafe property! Avoid!!! - The photo and their advertisement was different from the actual building. As I pulled in, there were people drinking beer and wandering through the parking lot. When I parked my car to go in to the office and check in, I was confronted by two very unsavory people. I went across the street to Dunkin Donuts to call hotels.com and they were of no assistance whatsoever. A supervisor told me the property would not authorize a refund unless I paid a one-night stay as a penalty since I was past cancellation point. I made it clear to the supervisor that it was an unsafe place to stay and was misrepresented in the advertisement. I asked if I could speak to his supervisor and he claimed to be the "highest level of escalation" at hotels.com.
I took several minutes of video footage to back up my claim, then called my bank and they're going to take care of it for me. From now on I will definitely avoid using hotels.com.
- justinCmclean (2/5): Worst experience in my life - "1. Doors dont work so the front desk lady had to use her key to open it. Her key got stuck. The owner came by and proceeded to tell me how to use the door lock. I was trying to tell him it's getting stuck I understand how to lock it. He then said you dont know anything about this..... I then asked him to please leave my room then he screamed at me. "Do you know who I am! This is my hotel you can leave!" And proceeded to yell at me more. Then started talking horribly more. Then started talking horribly about Americans and how all we want is free and the cheapest price. And many other things I cant say here. The front desk lady Becky I think her name is was the only thing that keeps that place running. The owner doesn't know how to operate or even fix rooms. Theres are more than 35 rooms there that are not rentable. That night I couldn't leave because the door was broke and I would be locked out. Then told that the maintenance man said "I'm not going to fix it they probably broke it" other than that and the drug traffic that is around. House keeping takes peoples stuff when they are gone cause they dont know when people are checking out or not. I witnessed a lady complaining about them taking all her food jewelry cloths from the room. The place is falling apart and the owner is to blame 10000% it's not safe there and you are not guaranteed a room if you book online. 30 reservations they couldn't fill that night and couldn't move me. Stay away I ignored the bad reviews and regret it. Dont make the same mistake."
- Verified traveler (2/5): Bad reception in the front desk - Though booked thru Hotels.com
There is no vacancy at all
The address published by hotels.com is incorrect too
There are bad characters hanging out
- Verified traveler (2/5): - Never got to check in because no Vacancy nd then they aint want to refund me my money
- Verified traveler (6/5): Low budget motel... - My stay here was pleasant for me but I can definitely see why others would be turned away. When I go out of town it's usually for the attractions, therefore I don't spend so much time in the room. So I usually get a cheap room as long as it's clean and comfortable. This hotel was by far not the best of quality but comfortable. During check-in, there was a dog in the office area that belonged to the owners. I love dogs but I could see how someone else would be turned away at this point. This seems to be a place for long term tenants. The room I booked on hotels.com was a single king bed with fridge and microwave. It took a long time to get checked in but I'm unsure why. After I was given my room key, I asked did the room have a fridge and microwave. The front desk attendant said it didn't, then took my key and gave me a room with those amenities. The room itself was ok. The bed was free of critters but the bathroom seemed to have been partially cleaned with powdered cleaner left on the floor. If you are not particular about where you stay or just need a night to rest, I may recommend this place. Other than that I wouldn't! Not to mention there is a night club on the premises in front next to the motel office. It was quite a bit to take in but my overall stay was pleasant. The area itself was near many restaurants and in proximity to everywhere I went.
- street (10/5): - Love the stay

- diaciagill (10/5): Sunday dinner type of feeling! - Clean an loving, the housekeeper are great!the ower an his wife are good people as well!down to earth, family type of motel! my family an myself thank GOD for this place its been a blessing for us,people can say what they want, but. this place got a good feel about it,one day. you may not have, then the next thing you know.someone is blessing you,its kind of like paying it forward one to another!2016!
- anikk588 (8/5): great experience - This hotel is overall good...stayed 3 nights. neat and clean room, although washroom towel was dirty ;( , friendly stuff gave pleasant service. but not as expected with cost....
expensive rate ,,, should decrease it....
- bhktkshn (8/5): This place exceeds the name... - I was a little skeptical at first, but I was really tired after a long day of driving from NC. The room they placed me in was a newly renovated room, in the "second building". I highly suggest you ask for a room in the second building because those rooms are brand new. I asked if they serve breakfast, and unfortunately they don't, but they gave me a voucher to the Waffle House across the street for $5 off my meal. I will definitely stay again if I am in the area again.
- 48ambern (4/5): horriable,do not come here - ive been staying here for 4 weeks now,i pay 250 a week for nothing,i dont know where to start, housekeeping is suppose to come every tuesday and friday, the. 4wks ive been here they on came once, last 2wks i had to clean my own room because they told me they had to many rooms to do,and they trying to hurry up and get off, they gave me the cleaning supplies and sheets and i had to do it myself, next my toilet was broke, i calld front counter he said he called the maintenance man,he didnt come til 2 days later to fix it,then he smelled like straight beer, next, there is mold all on the walls and floors, the owner and his Wife are very rude and unprofessional, and disrespectful, their are prostitution and junkies and cats everywhere, the police are called everynight about some drama, they wifi doesnt work and they tv's may only have 7 working channels, they run a horrible business but expect you to pay 250 every week on time, they need to knock this place down asap
- MatheusDanilo (6/5): The name says it all - Economy Inn is the perfect name for this place. You're not getting 5 star accommodations but you're also not paying 5 star prices. I came down here for a business trip and stayed here. The management and staff were very nice and helpful and for the price of staying here I would definitely come back.
- hrlpmr (2/5): SHUT IT DOWN !!! - My friend and I rented a room last night, we were charged $65.00 . There wasn't a televisionin the room., condom wrapper on the bathroom floor. The heating unit had no buttons or instruction panel, needless to say it was stuck on cool. When contacting management, we were offered a SECURITY GUARD, and the manager admitted that he was DRUNK! The maintenance man BILLY was RUDE to say the least !!
Pictures to follow.
- nahtalya (2/5): very poor customer service. - it was terrible customer service. an very unclean insect problem. an wouldnt refund my money.floor was flooded. there was feces on the wall flies everdrugsy where. also strangers continued to ask for drugs
- shavett (2/5): Hated It! - Husband and I stayed here this past weekend. The place is huge with over 300 rooms, and we were in 305 requested a nonsmoking room, and obviously got a smoking room. There was an ashtray in the room and not to mention once I got home my clothes smelled of cigarette smoke. The bed linens had a burnt hole in them and the blankets on the bed had hair stuck to them, which gave me the impression that they were not washed. There was a piece of trash on the floor and the tub did not drain good. I guess that sums up what I liked about the hotel. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone who likes clean, comfortable accommadations.
- Abby007 (6/5): It was okay if you are on a budget - I have no major complaints. It was your typical budget hotel. My husband and I were not planning to stay the night while traveling, however we changed our mind last minute and decided the newly remodled Motel 6 didn't look too bad at 2:00 AM. It is an indoor room entrance and is under remodeling. I would reccommend it to others if you need a quick and inexpensive room to spend the night.
