- Verified traveler (8/5): A little soviet style hotel - The hotel is located close to subway (Ligovski prospect) entrance and not so far from the main railway station. On the reception the service was friendly. The room was typical but the balcony was a good bonus. Noice barrier in the walls was really weak and the hotel provided ear plugs for free of charge. On the other hand the bed and lining was a really comfortable. Breakfast was typical for a Russian hotels, a few variants of bread, some bagels and egg and sausages. This was good enough for me.
- Max (8/5): Good value centrally located hotel - The location of the hotel is quite convenient transport wise, though the area is somewhat seedy. The room was not the best for a week when all restaurants were closed as there is only a very small table and no tea kettle. Probably fine otherwise. Sound insulation was not too good but luckily didn't have noisy neighbours.
- Elizaveta (8/5): - Очень удобное расположение. Много магазинов и аптек, в том числе круглосуточных. От Московского вокзала 12 минут пешком. Район чистый. В гостинице всё прилично. Но огромный минус, что нет розетки возле кровати и вода в душевой выливается на пол. Номер чистый и уютный. Удобные кровати и хорошая шумоизоляция с улицы. Ещё бы хотелось чайник в номере.
- Boris (8/5): Неплохой отель рядом с центром города - Останавливались на одну ночь. Отель без изысков, все отлично и комфортно. Завтрак не брали. Недалеко от Московского вокзала.
- Charlotte (6/5): Enkelrum med terrass - Bokade ett enkelrum med terrass. Stor och rymlig, men tyvärr mot en hårt trafikerad gata. Parasollet var trasigt. Kylskåpet höll inte normal temperatur, betydligt varmare. Gick tyvärr inte att åtgärda.
- Alexey (8/5): - Хорошее местоположение, отель комфортный. Душно - кондиционер летом нужен. И не понравилось то, что остатки завтраков, принесённые гостям в номера стоят на подоконниках до следующего дня. В целом, все хорошо.
- Alexandr (8/5): Качественный отель европейского уровня. - В целом качественный отель европейского уровня, в англо-бельгийском стиле,прекрасный завтрак в уютном ресторанчике, сверху есть бар с видом на питерские крыши. В шаговой доступности Невский пр., Московский в-л, м.Лиговский п-т, Галерея. Из минусов - не очень хорошая звукоизоляция между номерами.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Хороший отел в центре ! - Останавливаемся не первый раз в этом отеле , за последние 2 года люкс классические немного стал обшарпанным и подубитым , в глаза бросаются перетянутые кресла , раньше оставляли шоколадки на подушка в данной категории номеров (сейчас как то стало пусто ) , завтрак однообразный , не хватает салатов из зелени или фруктов , один и тот же вид ветчины (хотелось бы разнообразия) та же история с сыром(но есть вкусный кремчиз) , еще один огромный недостаток это ресторан «Паскаль» , когда звонишь в ресторан и просишь принести посуду в номер , то чаще всего официант якобы занят(ссылаются на полную посадку) , после того как спускаешься САМ за посудой , видишь пустой зал с официантом, можно сделать вывод что люди в ресторане не хотят работать ! В целом расположение удобное, рядом магазины , кафе и заведения общепита , даже есть салон красоты , и магазин косметики. Из минусов двора , не удобная парковка( не понятно где можно оставлять машину , а где нет , запарковался и тебе в номер звонят и просят перепаковать машину , второй момент это въезд на парковку , ворота открыты не до конца и по этому не удобно выезжать на длинной машине !
- Matti (10/5): Top week - Room comfortable, restaurants with good style, 9 nights. Easy to reach center of St. Peterburg, nearby shops, caffees etc. Only minus, you can hear all kind of sounds easily from other rooms.
- Peder (8/5): Super rent. - Meget flot hotel super rent, der er meget lam fra gaden hvis vinduet stå åben, det forsvinder når man lukker vinduet. Morgen maden var ok men ikke noget vildt.
- Minna (10/5): - Miellyttävä vierailu rauhoittavassa ja hyvin hoidetussa ympäristössä. Metro pysäkki lähellä. Ilmastointi puuttuu siitä miinusta tosin nyt helteilläkin ei huone minusta lämmennyt liikaa. Aamupalahuone viehättävä ja aamupala ihan monipuolinen.

- Nadir (10/5): Recepção excelente acima da média. - Desde a chegada no Hotel a Maria e o seus colegas foram my prestativos. Deram muitas explicações e dicas ótimas de como chegar ao centro, tomar ônibus e metrô. Ajudaram para ir ao valet tomando táxi e Uber. Foram simplesmente ótimos. O café da manhã muito bom, Até na hora da partida se preocuparam com o lanche para levar pois não daria para tomar o cafe da manhã. Ajudou também chamando o Uber. Foram muito prestativos.
- Evgeniya (10/5): С видом на Питер! - Отель шикарный! Очень Новый и чистый как в общественных местах, так и в номере. Нам достался люкс - пентхаус с огромной личной террасой и шикарным видом на Питер! В номере было абсолютно все для комфортного проживания!
- Marina (8/5): - Хороший отель, удобное расположение рядом с метро. Рядом находятся #Этажи. Персонал очень приветливый, заселили раньше без проблем ( при заезде с 14, нас заселили в 11). Выдали комплимент на бесплатный чай или кофе в ресторане до 24:00. Наверху в отели есть бар со смотровой площадкой. Завтраки вкусные.

Restaurant: Ambiance et décoration à la française (musique, chansons françaises, texte de Prévert inscrits aux murs, objets décoratifs). Personnel chaleureux et prêt à rendre service. Restaurant/bar au dernier étage avec vue superbe sur Saint Petersburg

- louise (4/5): Disappointing - We booked a superior room which stated a/c was available but when we arrived we were told that this was a centrally regulated system and later a different member of staff said there was no air con at all. They said they would provide a fan but none were available despite us asking for 2 days. Each time we asked to speak to the manager we were told he was at home and despite being asked by staff to get more fans he had refused. Finally on the penultimate night of our stay and after an argument with the receptionist she gave us the one she was using in reception. I think was partly because I had been badly bitten by mosquitoes in the night and despite blood from the bites being obvious on the bed sheet the cleaning staff hadn't changed them. The bar is air conditioned but only open from 6pm and the breakfast was basic and uninspiring. For over $100 a night this was a really disappointing experience and I can't recommend this hotel. The location was ok - but far from major sites and in a bit of a down at heel end of town. The hotel had a small park in front of the hotel where local people hung about getting drunk every evening while we were there which didn't help the impression the hotel made
- Cristian (8/5): Nice experience - Room was ready when arrived (precious to the agreed time). The people of the hotel was nice. As we were in world cup time everything in the city was really expensive, but prices here were ok and also breakfast was included. Metro and train stations were close
- marijke (6/5): Hotel op goede locatie - Kamer prima, het geluid buiten is behoorlijk lawaaig. Bij binnenkomst lagen er oorstoppers op het kastje naast het bed. De kamer is warm dus je moet de ramen wel open houden snachts. Wat daaraan te doen is weet ik niet. Kamers zijn gehorig je kunt de buren horen praten.Op de 8e verdieping een kleine bistro met een mooi uitzicht over Sint Petersburg. Helaas als het warm is is het veel te heet onder het glas en er was geen airco. vriendelijk personeel en een goed ontbijt.
- Esa (8/5): Aurinkoinen viikonloppu Pietarissa - Hyvällä paikalla sijaitseva siisti ja rauhallinen hotelli. Huone oli pienehkö, mutta siisti. Sänky oli hyvä ja jääkaappi plussaa. Pari metroasemaa kävelymatkan päässä, supermarket melkeimpä vastapäätä, samoin erilaisia ravintoloita ja kahviloita. Aikainen check-in plussaa, saimme huoneen käyttöömme jo yhdentoista jälkeen. Henkilökunta oli auttavaista ja ystävällistä. Wi-Fi toimi erittäin hyvin. Ilmastointia huoneessa ei ollut, mutta huoneen lämpötila ei päässyt liian korkeaksi helteistä huolimatta. Aamianen oli suppeahko, mutta maha tuli kuitenkin täyteen.

- Paty (6/5): good hotel, near Nevski Prospect - The Aglaya hotel is a good hotel, clean, with very friendly staff and a good restaurant, however the beds in the rooms are uncomfortable and you hear EVERYTHING that happens in the adjoining rooms, for these last two reasons I would not return to this hotel
- Rob (4/5): Good with a big but - Two armoured doors for an entrance, shared with tenants and another business This is 12 rooms on the first floor, tiny reception no restaurant no lounge or sitting area, no facilities what so ever.,other than a clean small dowdy room for breakfast, Breafast is allocated 2 Russian sausages, 2 boiled eggs ( no choice) yoghurt allocated cereal ,tea or coffee, no juice no menus fixed food ,same every day. Rooms beautiful with all facilitie, the litt passage way also good. There are four A4 pages of everything listed and priced that is in the bedroom any damage you pay the approprate charge from a spoon to all furniture and fittings, You are not allowed to leave until your room is checked for damage or theft. 60% or european who do not it their breakfast

Порадовал дизайн отеля и номеров. Из минусов - чайник в номере только по запросу, завтрак мог бы быть и побогаче.

- Liang (8/5): Nice hotel very close to metro subway - This hotel is a comfortable but not lavish. It is only of 4 min walk to metro subway which is big plus. Room is small but clean with quality furniture and doors. I like the Russian Windows which is very solid to shield noise. The breakfast included is quality one with many choice of drink, yet options are kind of limited for others yet service is excellent. Considering the price I paid, I would say very decent. The bed is comfortable, and hotel staff are helpful, yet not very friendly. I have to borrow iron board to iron my shirts, and there is no coffee machine in the room. The shower water did not flush from the drain quickly, but besides that I am satisfied with this three star hotel as the location is not far from city center and would consider staying again next time visiting Saint Petersburg.
- Juyeoung (6/5): 불편한 욕실 - 불만도 호감도 없는 그냥 일반적인 숙박이었습니다.가족4인이 함께 사용할 방이없어,더블룸과 트윈룸을 예약하였더니,1층과6층으로 뚝떨어져 방의 타입과는 관계없이 나란히 배치된 룸을 요청하였으나 만실이라 2박 투숙동안 1층과6층을 오가는 번거로움이 있었습니다.더블룸은 트윈베드를 2개 붙여 놓은형태였고,욕실샤워부스에 문이아닌 커튼을 달아놓아 물이 밖으로 흘러나오는것에 굉장히 신경쓰이고 불편했습니다.커튼마저 넉넉치 못한것이었기에.생수또한 투숙기간내에 일인당 1L한병밖에 제공되지않았고 따로 정수기등은 없었습니다.객실간의 방음 또한 허술하여 소음에 신경쓰였던거 같습니다.

- T (8/5): - Небольшой замечательный отель, хороший завтрак. если бы не одно НО! я читала в отзывах, что плохая звукоизоляция, но не могла даже представить, что настолько((. До 2-х часов ночи слушала как разговаривали в соседнем номере. Было слышно практически каждое слово, звук от выключателя, вода в душ и т.д.
- Michel (8/5): Good hotel, excellent location, poor breakfast - We stayed 3 nights at this hotel. It is a nice new building, just a few minutes from the metro station. Many restaurants and shops around. The hotel is completely ok, but just a few words about the restaurant. They have a restaurant "Pascal" in the basement and it is nice music and design, very cosy inside. However the breakfast food has to be improved: croissants, pancakes, cheesecake - they were not good so we "bought some from the French bakery "Garcon" across the street. This was the only negative side during our stay there. Otherwise we recommend this hotel !

- Verified traveler (6/5): Problems that can be fixed - I'll try to make this short: PROS It's a decent hotel in a quiet, safe neighborhood. Given how chaotic the tourist areas were, the respite from the crowds was welcome. The subway is just 2-3 blocks away and it's very cheap to move around (31 rubles per trip). Breakfast was enough to fill your belly and the occasional appearance of blueberry juice was welcome. Lastly, the bed was fairly comfortable and the wireless was fast and consistent. CONS The room wasn't inspected before we entered, otherwise they would have seen the water bottle under the bed, the bits of tobacco on the table and the hair in the bathtub. The newness of the hotel will fade fast because the showers are poorly designed and water runs everywhere. I suspect this is the cause for the sewer-like smell that emanated from the floor drain. We kept it covered and developed a system of towels to dam the water from reaching the carpet. The housecleaning is lax. They replace the towels and make the bed, but no effort is made to replace the sheets, vacuum the carpet, scent the room, wash/sweep counters, etc. The walls are thin as well and we could hear the neighboring guest snoring at night. Lastly, there is no variety to breakfast, so it got 'old' fast. CONCLUSION The price point is compelling and I think all of the above complaints can be addressed with some effort on the part of management.
- Olga (10/5): I'd give **** for this hotel instead of 3,5!!! - I've stayed in this hotel for a night in a classic room with a double bed & a little balcony. The room is clean & comfy. The French brassiere downstairs has nice atmosphere and staff! I has the breakfast there (included). It's not huge choice of food but you can get fresh croissants, muffins, omlet, cheese, porridge, etc. A suggestion for the administration - to give to the couples choice between 2 blankets or 1 big.
- Olga (10/5): Very good hotel 15 minutes walk to Nevskiy prospek - I've stayed here on 05/25/2015. Nice 8 floors hotel with a good French restaurant. I chose "iRoom" for one person with a single bed. It's very modern & fresh - new furniture and unusual design! There is a robe, sleepers which is good for 3,5 stars hotel. I had a strange situation when it was no hot water in the morning in some rooms cause of accident but a girl from reception gave me another room without any problem. I came back there very soon and tried a classic room - more space there but very usual.
