• Verified traveler (6/5): - room was spacious. small cockroaches in the room. you only get coffee the 1st day. we stayed 5 night and when we renewed 1 night and requested coffee, they had to call the owner to authorize it. Location is good. people next door leave doors open while cooking.

I did not see that the bedroom is upstairs, would have liked to know that, not a living room with TV. The "kitchen" had no stove, just a sign saying how to use the stove..we were going to make scrambled eggs. No can do. The recpetion stove is only for long term. Well, I did not see anything about that in the booking. Maybe my fault, but did not easily show anyways. Staff very nice, took off price for extra towels since no warm water. It feels as if also one shower rooms faucets and gear is a bit loose. Window in bathroom has no handle..and it was open, closed it with some small effort. Many small things, feel like room needs some overhaul, overall a bit run down. So a bit overpriced for what you pay for. But nice athmosphere still and nice staff makes up for it.
• Stephen (8/5): Not bad for the price - My stay at this property was a good experience. ..check in went well loved the up stairs bedroom. ..two bathrooms..kitchen so your able to cook...there are a few restaurants around the area..even a pure gold across the street. Only downside is the hallways witch are not very lite...light suppose to come on as you walking. .they need to work on that..but overall clean place..I would stay here again. .
• John (6/5): Close to food/attractions/transportation - Shaw Residenza was close to various restaurants and malls and it was easy to get a GRAB, Taxi, or Jeepney to places on Shaw Blvd. The hotel also had two complete bathrooms, a kitchen sink, water pot to heat water, a hot plate with pots and pans, a refrigerator, and a microwave. The sofas and beds were clean and comfortable but only the showers had hot water. If we needed hot water at the kitchen sink we had to either bring it from the shower, or heat it on the hot plate or water pot. Drinkable water was provided in a blue 20 liter plastic jug that was sealed in a plastic wrap and placed on the sink counter. Very small cockroaches were seen in the bathroom. Shaw Boulevard is very busy and the traffic noise even on the 14th floor was constantly heard. The pool was clean though rather small. Still perfect for the kids. Housekeeping was very attentive and arrived at the same time each day. Management was very strict about the number of guests we could bring to our room and requested they depart by 10 pm, or incur an overnight surcharge. Upon check in, the hotel agents wanted to charge a higher deposit than had been agreed upon in email correspondence prior to our arrival. I directed them to read the emails, which they retrieved quickly from their computer. Once they re read them they honored the original deposit. They also refunded it when we checked out.

• Gregory (6/5): Great location and clean room but.... - Hotel is in a great location walking distance to all the malls...the room was clean and comfortable with beautiful views of the ortigas skyline...but the hotel feels like it’s on its last leg... run down ... elevator broken and working ones very slow. I had no hot water so they fixed that... the internet is terrible if it works... I had stayed here 5 years ago and the gym was new. Since then it’s not been maintained...still got a good workout in.

• Mark (10/5): great place to stay, close to shopping malls - This is my second time staying at this location. Enjoyed it immensely. Good clean rooms, spacious living area. An extremely good location. Lots of places to eat with several minutes walking distance. A grocery market directly across the street from the hotel. A very short taxi ride or jeepney ride to the nearest shopping malls. Friendly staff. Would highly recommend this hotel to friends or anyone visiting Manila.

The kitchen is on the first floor and the 2 beds are at up stair on the second floor. Very clean place and daily room cleaning .

• Emmanuel (4/5): Will Think Twice If I'll Ever Come Back - Very poor customer service! It took forever before we were allowed to check in. They had our suite switched with another guest's room. It took about an hour before they realized the mistake. It took another hour before they finally had us switch suites. The guest who occupied our 'real' suite had already used the bed and bathroom in one of the rooms. It took another hour before our suite was finally clean again, with new beddings and toiletries. In other words, we lost about four hours, which we could have already enjoyed. With all the mix up and inconvenience, none of the staff even apologized. I asked if we can check out at 2pm the following day, since we lost about four hours, but they allowed only an hour extension, again without an apology. I like the place so much because it's very spacious, and the location is close to malls and restaurants. I thought I'd come back for other family occassions, but I think I just changed my mind! No matter how excellent every aspect and detail of the place is, with bad customer service, everything's ruined!

Too many rules, too many penalties about anything with signage of warnings in every corner of the building and amenities- you'll not enjoy and be relaxed during your stay anymore.
• MASASHI (8/5): 家族で滞在するには快適です。 - ４～５回目の利用です。家族で滞在するには快適です。 高級ホテルのサービスを求める人には×、家族滞在型コンドです。 目の前にはスーパーあり、 周りには数えきれない外食・ファストフード店あり。 （KFC・イナサル・MAX・ｲｴﾛｰｷｬﾌﾞetc.....。） 部屋には炊事道具一式、コンロ・冷蔵庫・電子レンジ等 ありますので自炊も可能です。 ホテルオーナーが変わった様で 様々なルールが紙に書いてあり、「守らないとペナルティで2,000ペソ」徴収が やや気になりました。 近くのモールは　グリーンヒルズ・SMmegamall等 空港までは40～60分 いつもマニラ訪問のベースにしています。

• Kaixer (4/5): Bad internet connection - Hotel Staff are pleasing, doing everything they can to help travellers. Hotel facilities are poor. Take several steps around the room and your sole(bottom of foot) will be dark grey. Brooms and Mops are so old and dirty that makes the floor dirtier than before. More dishwashing detergent could be provided. Refrigerator are dirty, need to be wiped clean before use. Aircon leaks randomly at times. WiFi-internet is horrible. Tested on speedtest application. Ping = 509ms, Download = 1.86Mbps, Upload = 8.99Mbps. Sometimes it gives "Network communiciation error" as there's completely no internet or too low to be detected. Room is nice, considering there's 2 bathroom and 2 bedroom, along with cooking utensils and stove.
• JAMES ANTHONY (8/5): Great hotel for a big family! - Second time booking this hotel. There was 10 of us and we booked the 2 bedroom suite with 3 beds and also we asked for an extra roll away bed. Room is clean and beds were comfortable. A/C was available in every room. Dining table and access to a fridge, microwave and cooking appliances was a plus. Kids enjoyed the swimming pool. Underground garage with security for our car to park. Staff very friendly. Only negative I have to say is that it doesn't have its own cafe or in house restaraut, but there are nearby places to eat that are opened late.
• RYU (8/5): ファミリー向け長期滞在型コンドミニアム - 今回宿泊した部屋⒘階にあるは２階建て式の部屋で１階部分にキッチンと４人掛けダイニングテーブルと他にソファーがあり室内のらせん階段を上るとダブルベッドルームが２つあるつくりの部屋でした。両フロアにシャワー・トイレがそれぞれあり３～４人のファミリーには最適です。目の前にPURE GOLDという大型スーパーもあり食材などの買い出しも便利です。
• Verified traveler (10/5): excellent stay & great value - excellent stay march 2016. first time to PI so did not know what to expect but selected this one last minute based on budget, accommodations and location. family/kid friendly (love the playground), friendly staff, great location in metro manila near major tourist attractions, walking distance to local eateries, safe (guard at night), and most importantly, was disable-friendly. extra beds and cribs available upon request. clean rooms and linen. Gym available and ping pong table. One of my favorite parts was the unexpected lounge area on the higher floors to enjoy the view. Loved the shower heads as there were multiple options to control water pressure. speedy laundry service. kitchenette made us feel at home as well as the free WiFi/cable tv (important for entertaining the kids). AC in all rooms. pictures posted show exactly what the lodging offers. I'm considering renting long term in the future based on the great experience. Thank you for such a great and welcoming stay.
• mark (10/5): PRIME LOCATION if you're staying in manila - stayed here for 4 nights. location is PRIME. close to SM megamall which is one of the largest malls in the country. hotel is surrounded by a 7-11, puregold grocery (like a target/walmart), a yellowcab pizzeria, kfc and a bunch of other restaurants, so places to pick up necessities and grab some food are ABUNDANT! hotel is more like an apartment unit setting, loft style place with a living room on first floor, kitchenette and a bedroom (1 or 2) on it's second floor. rooms are clean, wifi very responsive, only downside are the outdated furniture and appliances (tv was a small tube tv), but it still served it's purpose, my stay was comfortable. nothing special, just a good place to stay at especially because of it's LOCATION and conveniences around the facility. definitely recommended if you're in manila!

Perfect for an economy business trip or with family. Close to the malls and with Puregold opposite for brisk shopping for groceries and emergency food. Tons of eating places around as well. Staff was polite and efficient. Don't get turned away by the outside traffic alone. Plan an extra 30 minutes and you will enjoy the stay. Much better than hotels that have lavish outside lobbies and crummy interiors. This one has modest outside and super spacious inside!

UP for Space; living room to kitchen dining area felt a few square feet larger than others! Value; under 3000p/$75 for three beds! Smoking patio (appreciated), nicely stocked kitchen (nice to cook own breakfast there), Subway/KFC walking distance, pool was average, but mini-gym was ABOVE average! Ice cold AC! DOWN for Wifi; worked 33% of the time. And saw about a dozen ants, they go where the food goes, (kitchen, etc). This was a happy 3-day stay for me/us, thanks Shaw Residences!

I only gave amenities a 3 because a hotel that size I would have liked to see a restaurant, but on the whole everything was clean, tidy and staff where excellent
• Glen (6/5): Strong Smoky Smell - Room was okay, but the smell from smoke was overwhelming. I ended up moving to another hotel close by that was cleaner, had a free breakfast and was much closer to the mall. This looks close to the Starmall and Shangri-la, but it's a good walk along a very busy street with heavy traffic and hit or miss sidewalks. Also no TV in bedroom and week AC in the living area.

• Rick (10/5): Great place for the money - I really liked my 8 day/night stay here. The staff was very accommodating and friendly. For the price I don't think it can be beat and the location was close to many restaurants and had a nice grocery store across the street.Also only a few minute ride to Mega Mall. I really felt at home here and loved the setup with the kitchen/dining area and living room on the first level and bedroom/second bath on the second level with a nice staircase leading to them. Everything we needed to prepare food and eat was also provided as well as having a laundry area in the suite. Basically this was a lofted one bedroom/2bath apartment.Also has a nice swimming pool. For the price I really can't say enough good things about this suite and will definitely stay here again.
