- Julie (1/5): We left. - We ended up leaving right after checking in. The room smelled like old disinfectant. It's very very dated and the beds were not comfortable. Not updated since the 70s.
- Ashley (6/5): -
- Jerome (8/5): - Outside lighting shines in the room
- karthick (7/5): -
- dennis (8/5): -
- Kathleen (1/5): Blah - No vermin at least Remote needed batteries—ours because they had none, broken faucet, bulbs gone or mismached not working, rough check in
- anetta (4/5): I would not stay there again - Nice size rooms, the location was good. The rooms we had smelled like a damp basement, shower curtain wasn't clean, not enough towels, no hangers.
- Robert (10/5): -
- Amy (10/5): -
- Escobedo (1/5): -
- trent (5/5): The family that runs it was nice - Location was good There was a exterior light on at night in the rear window that lit up room all night
- Connor (1/5): Regretful and uncomfortable - Nothing. Bad dirty rooms, dirty bed and bathroom, poor staff. EVERYTHING, do not come here.
- Douglas (9/5): -
- Anthony (2/5): Probably the worst stay I have had in a hotel that I can remember. - Staff were great working under difficult circumstances. No decent food available for miles.
Lumpy unusable pillow! Haven't had one of those since boarding school in the 60's was alone so took the pillow off the other bed,.
tiny cockroach crawled over the workstation.
Two days with no hot water.
Left a day early and went somewhere else.
- John (8/5): -
- Blaine (1/5): Smelly and dirty. - Nothing, the coffee in the office was not good. The coffee pot was located in the corner of the office surrounded by paper work and junk. The room was dirty. There was black mold located at the bathroom floor molding. It needed to be cleaned and painted.
The lavatory faucet was very cheap, and the handle was ready to fall off, hard to use. The carpet smelled and dirty. There was an odor in the room that bleed into our clothing. Would never go back.
- Mary (9/5): Village inn happy guest - The room was clean and comfortable. They had a nice fridge that worked well and microwave. Some of the guest were loud. But all in all it was very pleasant I didn't like the very bright light out our windows even with the curtains closed the room was very bright. Also I always had warm to hot water coming from the sink could never get it cold.
- thomas (7/5): When I need a cheap and clean place to sleep when I'm in town. - Less than five minutes from where we go. Clean. Pricee is right for when we just need a place to sleep. I had no issues.
- Joseph (10/5): -
- Maynor (9/5): -
- RODNEY (7/5): -
- Linksz (9/5): Good stay for the price - Clean abs overall no issues Ice machine was a long walk, no snack machine
- Kathleen (1/5): Nightmare - Water main broke so transferred us to a friend’s hotel, Red Roof Inn. Red Roof was cheaper but Village Inn transferred our payment so no desrved refund. Red Roof had no king bed, no breakfast, roach on the wall, slippery tub & my man did slip; broken drawer, toilet seat, too tiny bathroom to close door without squeezing into a corner. No turn overnight maid service for 2nd day’s fresh towels ir trash removal. Went to front desk for towels but no mat or pair of face towels.
- Jean-Paul (6/5): - Clean and quiet. Not expensive. They are still in the renovation stage, so some things were not finished.
- Modena (1/5): -
- Hércules (7/5): - La puerta no tenía seguro por dentro estaba dañado y no me quisieron cambiar de habitación, entraba luz por la cortina.
- MIchael Casavant (5/5): - Price and location. Needed to be updated.
- James (3/5): -
- Jean (10/5): -
- Marek (10/5): - All 👍 Lack of coffee in the morning
- Stephanie (2/5): I wouldn't recommend staying. - The location of this inn was good since I was visiting family and they were only few minutes from the inn.
The only reason why this place got a 2 rating was due to how close the location was too family. The room was dirty, there were holes in the wall. The bathroom faucet leaked. There was poop on the side of the toilet.
There is no amenities except for a small bar of soap. No blow dryer was provide.
The bed was hard and the pillows were hard as rocks.
If you check in after hours you habe to check in at an outside window.
We were there for 3 days and we of got towels once out of three days.
Our room ended up being a smoking room This is not there fault as I booked a smoking room in error however; usually when I check I am asked the type of room to make sure.
I only saw one person the whole time that we were. That one person wasn't exactly friendly amd she was slow.
- Carey Kirner (6/5): - The front desk gal was adorable and friendly. The bed was comfy. The room was good. It served our purpose of having a quick place to stay on our way through town to Ocean City, Maryland. Seemed outdated and kind of on the run down side. There was lots of what looked like construction going on so maybe we just got there at an "in-between" time. Also...morning coffee being available in the morning would be a huge plus!!
- lee (1/5): - Nothing .worst room ever . A major fire danger . Risk of life Dirty filthy damaged smelly rooms
- Ken (7/5): -
- stephane (6/5): - Accès facile La chambre bien que non fumeur sentait le tabac froid. Trou dans le mur . Fauteuil avec accoudoirs use et tissus avec trou.
- Gordon (6/5): - My original choice had some issues so Hotels.com rebooked me here.
Not a great hotel, would never stay here again
- Kelly (4/5): - Rough Property Condition. Fridge did not work and was not repaired after reporting
Keys did not work. No shampoo, no conditioner no hair dryer, bad smell. Absolutely no hanging hooks or hangers at all.
- Alexandria (1/5): -
- George (10/5): - This is a family owed business nestled in a quite area minutes from Downtown Annapolis. You can drive to DC or Baltimore in less than an hour. Nothing. They are in the process of updating the the property. Not a big deal.
- Laura (2/5): Never going back - Location There were dead roaches on the bathroom floor, dirty, over priced and outdated
- Brian (3/5): View from the road is appealing very disappointed with the rooms and lack of amenities. - Location was convenient to downtown only 15 minutes drive. Check in was fast and friendly. The response to replace the TV was prompt and the person was congenial. Overall the Inn needs a lot of work one room at a a time.
I WOULD BE HARD PRESSED TO STAY THERE AGAIN. There were numerous boxes stacked outside adjacent to rooms making it look like a construction zone. Upon entering there was a musty odor. The walls and trim were missing paint plus gouges in the walls. The shower head was not secured to the wall and the bathroom tiles were not installed completely. The bath soap was horrible. The TV had to be replaced. No coffee in the rooms and no cream or milk at the office where there was coffee. The light for the back of the building id directly centered in the window meaning you could not open the curtain without an intense glare.

- Courtland (4/5): - Although it was the least expensive motel available in the Annapolis area, it was by far the most expensive and least comfortable of my trip so far. I could hear voices (probably TV) in the next room all night. Everything worked OK, bed was comfortable, etc., but it just seemed old and "shabby." Cabinetry seemed partially dismantled. Outside, there were boxes piled around. There was a phone that I attempted to use to call the front desk, but it wasn't connected. At check in at 9pm, the clerk was walled off and barricaded for security - that made me wonder if the area was dicey or unsafe. No breakfast, just coffee - pass!
- John (8/5): - The property is in the perfect location for our yearly visit. It certainly could be more modern. The room was not dirty but does show some age. The staff was exceptionally friendly and everything was as it was as advertized.
- Kraft (10/5): The Village Inn was a memorable and pleasant stay( 2 night) - The room was very nice, clean, a unique design.
Very nice and quiet location.
The room a/c - heater was also nice and quiet!
The staff was lovely! The ladies at the front desk and the housekeeping staff were friendly and accommodating. Coffee at the front desk was available and very good. Everything was great.
- Aly (2/5): Do yourself a favor and avoid this place! - It was foul, so many hazards and disgusting things weren't just in our room, but every other displayed and presented. They wouldn't let us look at the beds of the new rooms after finding pubic hair and bugs in the sheets and a pee stain on the actual mattress. They did a surprise cleaning fee and expected this all to fly. Then when investigating other rooms, they said it wouldn't be fair to housekeeping.
- William (10/5): - The room was very nice, clean and quiet. Great location
- Kenneth (7/5): Meet my needs for a good price - Price People living there long term
- Kevin (2/5): - Bed bugs, i was bitten.
- Kevin (10/5): - Relaxing
- Brennan (8/5): -
- Maurice (7/5): -
- Ashley (2/5): - Property has bed bugs and lied about the double room in the listing
- Olivia (10/5): -

- Jusino (1/5): Overall I wasn't very happy with my stay - There was no breakfast the booking wasn't too good cuz your website did not describe it as a motel until I got there I found out Soon as I open the door to my room I smelled mold I was worried about my girlfriend getting sick places under renovation. The ceiling in the bathroom look terrible it had a brand new commode .
- louis (10/5): - very nice and clean
- Loveless (9/5): -
- Carlos (7/5): -
- Joshua (10/5): -
- imnhvn (5/5): Great place to stay if you want to be scolded. - Convenient location but under renovation. Comfortable bed. A/C worked. Good soap. Staff member during check-in was defensive and couldn't answer my question about a late check-out.
The manager who checked me out felt it necessary to give me a lecture for leaving 15 minutes late and for not coming by early in the morning to request a late check-out. I got in at 10:30pm; if I were to have gotten up early enough to go to the office I wouldn't have needed a late check-out. As it was, I felt very rushed and condescended to.
- Douglas (10/5): - Can not judge a book by its cover! Remodeled room that was clean and could have been in a Marriott or Hilton property! Small bathroom but excellent design and construction! Only wish was that no shampoo provided. Definitely would stay here again.
- Marcus (6/5): -
- Jose (10/5): My stay was restful and quiet. - The staff was very kind, friendly, helpful and professional. The property was clean and well maintained.
- David (10/5): Excelente - Muy limpio No habia shampoo
- Geoffrey (2/5): Stay away. Scammy business practices - Refused to refund me for a room I ordered in error less than 2 hours before I realized the error. So I had to pay for a room I could not used. Both hotels.com and this hotel scammed me of my funds
- Sonya (2/5): - Unable to stay wasnt what i thought i booked.
- Lenard (5/5): Be up front about the 50 dollars deposit an get rid flood light by window - Did have no breakfast. And the light by the window need to be removed lights up the room that you can't sleep. I like it because was close to the bay Bridge for us to go crabbing an see family That light should be replaced some where else. Other than that . The room was clean and so was the bathroom. We left the room very nice an clean way we found it up on rival. Need to put it in the comments when you go to book the room there a 50 dollar deposit. Never heard of that no other places charge it.
- Barton (9/5): Superb -
- Tameka (10/5): Exceptional -
- Casey (3/5): Poor -
- Brandon (8/5): Very good - Quiet comfortable Had no toiletries. Luckily I brought my own
- Tim (6/5): a little sketchy. - The sheets had a super low thread count. The door to our room was also super thin so it seemed like someone could just kick it down without a problem
- Ken (8/5): Function over form. - Close to Annapolis. It's a functional motel.
- Efrain (2/5): - Worst customer service
- Nathaniel (6/5): - It’s was average. Barley that in my opinion. Only book here if it’s last minute and need a quick place to stay…. Book your place in advance.
- Anthony (7/5): Good -
- Johnathan (1/5): Waste of money and stole money from me. - Nothing, very poor area The staff is very unhelpful and ended up not refunding my Monday after I checked my stay. They are very rude and hard to communicate with. Do not stay here.
- Eric (8/5): - Need improvement
- lysbet (4/5): - Lovely, warm person at the desk.
The room was in bad shape, including curtains that were not quite wide enough to cover the window (and there was a very bright security light above the window), drawers that were not able to keep closed, and, most frustratingly, a broken bathroom door. It was split lengthwise down from the knob, which was lolling in its spot. We could not fully close that door.
Bathroom had only soap, but we were able to get shampoo at the desk.
- Donald (8/5): - The staff is super friendly and there is a convenient store to buy drinks and snacks within walking distance.
- Eliel (6/5): - S
- Renee (3/5): The old Howard Johnson - The room was clean, located in a great place There was banging sounds in the walls all night, and no one was in the adjacent rooms. The microwave was broken. There were boxes of locks stacked outside half the rooms. And a super bright light outside of our window that made it real hard to sleep. I had to use the blanket to try to block the lights. And there were three of us staying there but they only gave us towels first two of us, when we asked for more they made us give back one set . Strange
- I (10/5): - very nice!
- John (1/5): Bad - DIDN'T SPEND ONE MINUTE IN A ROOM AND THEY CHARGED ME FOR BOTH NIGHTS.
- Troy (10/5): Exceptional -
- Tia (2/5): - I knew we should have cancelled as soon as we walked into the office. Although the staff were friendly the office reeked of mildew. Then we were informed that there was a $25 a night pet fee that wasn't stated anywhere when we initially booked. The outside of the hotel wasn't bad, all the rooms are on the 1st floor. It was odd though that all the hotel rooms across the lot were piled high with boxes. When we entered the room it again reeked of mildew and was filthy. We initially booked for 3 nights. We ended up leaving after only 2 hours and checking out due to the smell and the uncleanliness of the room. We ended up losing about $400 and just going back home and cancelling our vacation because of the conditions in the hotel room. It literally looked like a crack hotel. Would not recommend at all!!!
- May (6/5): Economic stay. Good value for money. -
- Alan (6/5): - The staff was not knowledgeable of much of anything including why the fridge was not plugged in or any of the minor questions my wife asked.
The area was WELL lighted, too much in fact. The back window's light was SO bright it was intrusive.
The appointments were very nice as the room had been recently upgraded, especially the countertops and shower area. Overall a good bargain.
They REALLY have to do something about that back light! The bright lighting was a welcome feature in FRONT, but not i the back.
- Robert (4/5): I would only stay there if there were no other options. - They took a $50 security deposit at check in. I don't even know why they did that since they already had my payment for the stay. I have yet to get my $50 back.
- Andrea (8/5): - The road leading to the hotel was trashy and homely.
- Rhiis (10/5): Exceptional - Nice property, friendly staff. Overall it was a good stay, though there are two comments. First, somewhere I saw it written that they offer a continental breakfast, this is not true at the moment. Also, the security light that is right outside the window, it is so bright that it is brighter than when the sun is shining directly on the window. So if you need total darkness to sleep well like we do, you might find this to be an issue. Maybe the hotel can invest in blackout curtains or bigger curtains. It was still a good stay.
- Timothy (2/5): - I sure made a mistake going there
- Anton M (10/5): - I love this place! All the rooms are spacious. The entire staff is great!
- Mundo (1/5): Bad -
