- Susan (2/5): - The beds were very hard . The window in the 2nd bedroom window handle was broke could not close so the air conditioner ran all the time. Put it on 78 and was still very cold because of the heat coming in the open window kept it running. Also very loud outside ,so with the window open loud inside .so I got no sleep. In the bath room were 4 very old gray towels that were supposed to be white. No hand towels , no washcloths . I have never stayed at a hotel that doesn't have any washcloths. That is just crazy. The girl at the front desk was very nice . I would never recommend this hotel to anyone.

- Hector (6/5): - I often stay here when I visit but I was a little surprised by their new security and room entry policy. As usual, I have very few complaints but I do miss the body wash, toothbrush and toothpaste they used to provide. I don't think I stayed there long enough this time around to really give a solid review.

Cleanliness and basic service should be a priority, but unfortunately, this hotel did not meet even the most basic standards. I would not recommend staying here until management makes serious improvements. the shower had visible mold, there was a strong unpleasant odor coming from the sink faucet/pipes, and I could even see broken pipes.

A short walk to get the bus. Staff was competent and attentive. Coffee in the morning was ok too, but no breakfast, that's ok it's a budget hotel.

- ERIKA (8/5): - This location was great - under $10 uber to Condado Beach. Clean, staff was very nice. Area outside was a little dirty but that’s not their fault. Only concern was shower water was lukewarm. Will stay again for the price if I need to.

We had a reservation and didn't understand why the room didn't have the AC on expecting us. It took, an hour for the room to cool up and we had to shower off the sweat from waiting. Everything was perfect for an economical stay.. love the bed, very comfy. super clean and all the other ladies including the reception Sunday and Monday morning were all super nice.. Definitely recommend if your looking for something economical just to sleep.

- Lovie (8/5): - I thought the facility was convenient price wise , because I didn’t pay , I didn’t expect much , it was nice to lay your head at night and rest , ac was great , was decently clean with some staining around some areas but it didn’t bother me . Unfortunately some cold showers were part of our stay but it was part of the experience. The staff was amazing always there to provide something and had some great local tips, very kind staff, felt welcomed with them around
- Reyita (6/5): - The staff were kind but don’t expect much from the area, hotel has no breakfast, first room we got was terrible, bed was small for 2 people, the tv didn’t work, the air conditioner could not control. When we switched to the two twin bed, it was better, until I uncovered my pillow and found out I was sleeping on dirty stained pillows. Again you get what you pay for.

- Noraliz (2/5): - Unfortunately even though check in went smoothly and the hotel is ok, the area around the property lacks safety. I left a few of my luggage items in the trunk of my vehicle and by the time I went down to retrieve them from my TRUNK not on the seat, my car had been broken into. This hotel doesn’t have reserved parking, only street parking but I found parking right in front of the lobby. When I reported the break in all that front service asked was if I had left a door open, that break ins when doors are left open have been happening a lot in the area. Not their fault but overall just a bad experience during this stay & if they know break ins are happening the least they could is have security up front.

The Sheets are very thin and the ac would just stay in just one temperature and would not change. Sometimes was cold and sometimes not. Also the shower was moldy. And there was spots of water damage on the ceiling.

The air-conditioner remote was not working on one of the rooms that we were assigned to and I had to use the remote from the other room which was not a huge problem for us.

Safe box was locked and papers from the previous guest were left over the safe. Besides this situation, the room and restroom were clean and working properly. Front desk resources are helpful, friendly and supportive.

Ver narrow hallways ( Mace like ) The main entrance it’s a Challenge ( dangerous ) For adult people like me with a suitcase. The person that received me on the first night at the Front desk area was quite pleasing to talked to and willing to help with my personal Emergency Situation. Thank You!

You can get change at the front desk and purchase little laundry pods. It’s very quiet and they have an elevator. The many outlets in the rooms are a plus too lol

- Verified traveler (6/5): Arrived on very late flight, this hotel is MOTEL - Our stay at Hotel San Jorge was less than average. We realize it’s an older building, the surrounding area was okay, parking was a bit tricky but the room we were in was extremely small. The shower had running hot water but if you aren’t a skinny stick person you couldn’t stand correctly in the shower, you had to stand side ways which is not idea and even then the shower curtain was still on top of you. The bathroom had an internal window that we could see the foyer so we felt like we could be seen and the curtain was a small one so we couldn’t bring it down. If you are looking for a 1-night stay at a cheap price then this is the place just keep in mind that it’s just that. We would not stay here again, once and done for us. The morning staff was very friendly.

- Milton (8/5): OK - It was ok, the bathroom knob was loose, and one of my kids got locked in and got a bit scared. The towels felt more like carpet than towels. Just stayed for the night, everything else was ok.

I was able to find street parking for my car rental, available wash and dry machine. House keeping on point. I didnt see any bugs in my room. The area is also more on the quiet side.

- Allison (8/5): Safe, no-frills hotel in artistic neighborhood - This hotel was perfect for my needs as a budget-conscious traveler who wanted to stay near the museums, restaurants, and cafes in Santurce. It is aged and worn, but it was clean, the bed was comfortable, the shower was nice and hot, and the neighborhood felt safe enough for my standards as a frequent solo female traveler. There are some very good restaurants nearby and the bus stop directly across the street provided reliable service to Old San Juan and beaches. If I returned and was on a similar budget I would definitely be comfortable staying here again.
