- Heather (8/5): Very good for the price. - Staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was clean and comfortable. Miss the little restaurant but there was a nice selection of food you could purchase in guest services. Really nice outside gathering area for guests on the second floor. There is also a games room. If you don’t have a full motel, don’t put guests directly above others as the soundproofing is not good. We could hear the guest above walk across the floor every time they moved. Have pot smokers go off property not in front of guest doors. Not everyone likes that smell. Made us feel sick.

The price was affordable and the location was convenient for a short stay. Unfortunately, the room had a strong unpleasant smell that stayed on clothes and belongings, which made the stay less comfortable. It would really help future guests if the rooms were better ventilated or refreshed.

We were told there was 2 double beds in one of the rooms. The online description said 3 queen beds in the suite. We had two twins and a double bed. We also had dirty towels in the bathroom.

- Helen (9/5): Wonderful, well cared for property. - We were warmly greeted by the gentleman at the front desk & promptly checked-in. The lobby area is lovely. It has been nicely decorated, has a comfortable seating area, an automatic coffee machine that dispenses filter coffee as well as an array of espresso drinks. It was also very tidy & clean. Our room, with two queen beds, was large, immaculate, well cared for and very comfortable. It was nice to have a mini fridge & a microwave. I understand some rooms have air fryers, which is brilliant. It was really convenient to be able to purchase prepared meals from a fridge in the lobby. After a long drive, I didn’t feel up to going out to a restaurant. So I purchased a quesadilla which I heated up & it was delicious, with big chunks of chicken & came with sour cream & salsa. I also purchased a container of fresh strawberries, which were fresh & hit the spot. They had lasagna, a selection of sandwiches, yogurt, granola & fruit, as well as other main course selections & a range of drinks. The prices were very reasonable & it is a thoughtful touch. It is apparent that the property is well cared for & maintained. The room rate was extremely reasonable & I would not hesitate to stay at Scot’s Inn & Suites again. N/A

There is a games room with air hockey and a pool table, as well as board games and a TV with netflix. room insulation isn't the best.. could hear the people in the next room sneezing and snoring.

We travelled to Kamloops with several friends and family members who also stayed at Scott's Inn and Suites, each member commenting positively on the service. The entertainment area on site was a great gathering place to bring the whole group together, with lots of seating, games and a kitchen area. The beds were very comfortable and rooms clean.

- Barbara (7/5): I certainly would consider saying again at Scott's Inn & Suites. - I liked the layout of the building. The activity room was intriguing although I did not partake. My room was a reasonable size and the linens were very nice. The shower in the bathroom seemed spacious with the curved shower rod. I did not get a chance to peruse the food items available in the main office area. Next time! I believe that the bathroom fan was not working although the room did not get too steamy. I forgot to mention that upon leaving.

After having some mediocre hotel experiences lately, I did not expect to hit the jackpot this time. But I did! I have never been to a hotel that felt so comfortable and clean. The staff, T and Mani, were so welcoming and helpful that we instantly felt at home. I cannot say enough praise for the value that this hotel provides. The rooms have all amenities you can wish for, incl coffeemaker, microwave and fridge and a big TV. Bedding and pillows are exceptional. The cafeteria and their entertainment room complete the experience. The hotel is pet friendly and is located in a residential area with a children's playground right next door as well as a small park where dogs are allowed. A bus stop is across the street. Only a short walk to the river and the river walk. There is also a dog park by the river. I am so glad I found this jewel of a hotel and will definitely stay there again when in Kamloops.

- Catherine (8/5): Great place but....needs some small changes - I had an end room in the annex across the road . Nice kitchen ,dining area and separate bedroom. Nice view of the mountain. The room was super clean and looked newly painted. I would definitely rent this again but only if I have a car as the bus is infrequent. It was noisy from the road. If they remove the air conditioners in the winter you could at least shut the windows and that would eliminate the noise. There was only one fork ,one spoon, one knife.one normal sized plate. No dish cloth, no dish towel, no paper towels. The fridge opened the opposite way it should so it was awkward to use. All of these things could be rectified easily. The door outside and the window was very dirty. The chair outside was too dirty to use. The carpet outside was filthy. So it was not a nice welcome although the inside was very clean. You also need to put the clothes hanger in the bedroom, not the living room. A table lamp in the living area would be a great addition. All petty stuff I'm commenting on, but it all adds up.
