• Clifford (2/5): - We went to the property. It was VERY dirty. Trash everywhere. Not as depicted. Then we went in and showed them our reservation. They said they did not take internet reservations. We were forced to find another hotel immediately. I’m glad I didn’t pay for this in advance. Staff rude.

I didn't receive any prior cancellation email from the hotel or neither Expedia. I did sent an txt inforrming i would check in later. But from their side they never received. Cancelling my booking and leaving me in the road as ll the rooms were full.

• Nicholas M (2/5): DO NOT STAY HERE - This hotel was by far the worst hotel I have ever experienced. The pictures on hotels.com are not what youre getting. The room smelt like freshly smoked cigarettes and illegal activities. The window, which was street level, was kept open to air out the smell, but that caused bugs to be flying in. In addition, the room had clearly not been cleaned - there was dust and cobwebs all over the room. It was also held together by duct tape and the base boards were falling apart. We checked out right away and have been having an impossible time to get a refund. Do not believe the images on this site - please see the attached images to get the reality of what this 'establishment' looks like. I wish there was a way to properly convey the smell.
• nics301 (2/5): Absolutely Disgusting - This may be the most disgusting hotel I have ever stepped foot in. Lets start with the smell. I cannot be as explicit as I'd like to be, so lets just say that the non-smoking room smelled like cigarettes and other drugs (not weed) that can be smoked. Visually, it is not any better. The room had not recently been cleaned. It was filthy dirty - there were bugs, mold on the ceilings, graffiti on the walls, the tub was leaking (and we had not even turned it on), and there was dirt, debris, and cobwebs all over the room. Needless to say, after less than an hour, we had picked another hotel down the road and checked out of this Oyo dumpster. Now we have been STRUGGLING to get a full refund. DO NOT STAY HERE. You'd be better off sleeping in an alley way behind the McDonalds.

And upon check in the reservation had been cancelled even though I had the confirmation in my hand. They also wanted cash. We ultimately left and went somewhere else.

The tv/Roku didn't work , took them 3 hrs to fix but they gave us an antenna. Check in was 2pm and when we got there they said our room wasn't ready and told us to come back in an hour. Came back and had to wait another twenty mins waiting for the manager to show up to check us in. Only gave us two towels, no toiletries at all, blood on the walls in the bathroom and blood on the floor, I took pictures. Furniture looked as though they acquired it at a yard sale. The microwave had dust,dirt and bugs on top of it. Will never go back. Don't go there!!

• Voyager09206730967 (2/5): Most realistic attraction in the whole of Niagara Falls - This place should be called the Jesse Pinkman motel stay experience and it would then be the most realistic attraction in the whole of the Niagara Falls. The costumes and acting was so realistic with local hobos hanging along with the toothless crack pipe smokers. The room also came with an excellent tobacco fragrance air freshener that was amazingly strong. You also as a bonus get several pet fly’s to keep you entertained if you get bored. The bed sheets also come with this amazing mixed shades of cream/ brown along with little moving black dots 👍

• Timothy (2/5): - Called me 3 times before even showing up to ask when I would arrive, when I finally did they put us in a different room than we booked (called it a upgrade) because they hadn’t cleaned the room we were supposed to get yet, there was no amenities (like soap or toilet paper) the room was dirty (stains on the bed sheets and walls, floors were not that clean and looks like they never move anything to clean around stuff) all lights sockets have no cover on them and are exposed, seems like it’s half hotel half apartments, no smoke alarms and everything seems to be half assed, will say the one guy we dealt with was polite

The inside of the room smells and the sheets are gross looking. The floor smells like pee. The entire night all I could smell was pee. As I was brushing my teeth the water was running to my feet. I guess the sink has a bad leak. They gave me a remote and that was for a different tv. The lamps didn’t work. This entire experience was scary my daughter didn’t sleep well as she got to sleep she was woken up my two Men trying to get in our room. What a night no phone to call the front desk can’t find a number. I wish I could give them a -5. I should have my money returned for this place

Around the hot tub there was mold, our sheets had stains on them that we had no idea what they were, it was uncomfortable to lay on the bed because of this. There was also a homeless guy that was asleep in front of our door. That was really uncomfortable.

Updates had recently been done, new flooring and bedding. Very nice staff. Great location. I would stay again. Price was right too! I recommend if you are looking for a place to stay close to attractions, restaurants and the falls.

Heart shaped jacuzzi that worked well and was clean. Some mold on the wall behind the toilet which should be addressed but didn’t affect anything. Set your bar low and enjoy the location and your sleep.
• Mackenzie (2/5): - My recent stay was a letdown - didn't have huge expectations coming in, but it was even worse than I had imagined. The front desk area was a mess - cluttered and with visible staff sleeping quarters. Even our parking pass was stamped on a cigarette carton. Upon entering the room, we were met with a strong smell of cigarettes. We then asked for a non-smoking room due to the strong smell, but were told the hotel was fully booked and given a bottle of air freshener. The room itself was old and dirty. Broken windows, a stained tub, and a mattress with its plastic cover still on were just some of the issues - and this was one of their 'nice' rooms. Bonus - there were 2 TVs, but only one of them worked. Overall, it was a disappointing experience, and we won't be coming back.

The windows don’t lock from inside and can be slided to open from outside. We had to keep a piece of our belonging in order to feel safe that the window might not open if someone tries to. If I had the option I would get a full refund for the terrible conditions of the hotel as well as the room. They also charged for the parking which was supposed to be part of the deal when I booked the hotel

• Rachael (2/5): - Prior to arriving we received two phone calls asking when we would be there, which was our first red flag and very odd. Upon arrival, they make you pay immediately and tell you after it is processed that there are no refunds and then tell you to pay an additional $150.00 cash deposit. When going to our room it was apparent the place is completely run down. There was also a lot of sketchy people, drunk and high, just sitting outside of their rooms staying there which made us feel unsafe. The photos online are NOT of this place. Upon entering our room which had cracked chairs and dirty walls, we immediately checked the bed and found bed bugs. Checked out 5 minutes after arriving and had to show them photo proof of the bed bugs as well as them going to the room themselves to check that we werent making it up. He mentioned they had "sprayed for them" so it was clear they knew they had a bed bug problem. We were then granted a refund and had to find another hotel to stay in.

If you have to leave early you are unable to get your deposit back. Place is a dump. Expedia should look at this property and take it off any lists they have. I have no good recommendation for this place except it is close to the falls.
• Sage (2/5): - Room was absolutely disgusting 530$ for two nights and I had to wear my shoes when I got out of the shower. The only clean thing was the bed sheets which I will say was nice. The room was definitely not cleaned in quite some time. The walls were dripping in grime. The bathroom floor was gross and the tile in the shower was falling apart. The front door looked as if it was broken into a few times and didn’t close without slamming it. The light bulbs in the lamps were duct taped in place as the fixtures were broken. Upon walking into the room it smelled of mold. But hey at least I didn’t get bugs!

• Emma (6/5): - As far as motels are concerned this one was ok. Reading these other reviews, youd swear people think theyre staying at a fancy hotel. Overall id give a 3/5 and heres why. We had a leak under our bathroom sink (that i didnt even notice until our last day, so wasnt a big deal for us). There was a limited amount of electrical plugs in the room (1 behind a bed and one that ran several things through a power bar, and one in the bathroom) We were given one less towel and pillow than needed but that was promtly fixed by asking front desk for more . The location was great, very close to clifton hill and a short walk to other amenities. Pool was clean and open. I called ahead to make sure we would have access to a microwave in the room and that wasnt a problem. The room was fairly clean, no bugs or anything weird. Just an old motel that could use some updates but if youre looking for a cheaper stay as close as you can to the strip then this place was good. Staff was friendly and helpful and we had a great time. You get what you pay for and this place is no luxery suite, but its a safe place to lay your head.

There was chewed gum on the headboard, missing drawers on the dresser, blood and feces smeared on the walls, excessive mold in the bathroom, burnt and dirty linens. The jacuzzi tub holes are filled with silicone, the ac units is taped to the wall, flies in the air, toothpaste on the mirrors. I lifted a pillow and the sheets were stained, I didn’t go any further. The bed was collapsed on one side. I could go on and on. I was not given a refund and checked out immediately. Upon entering the parking lot you feel unsafe, this is a very sketchy place. We decided to give it a chance and check in, collect our keys, pay an additional $30 for parking and check out the room. Big mistake. I wouldn’t let a rat stay here, unsanitary, unsafe, unclean, damaged….just disgusting. I have no idea how this place is in operation. This establishment needs to be investigated.
• Richard (2/5): - The pictures and advertising were the complete opposite of what was given. Blood on walls, no phone, no microwave, window air unit was small and you could see through the boards holding it in place, hairs/dried snot on the bedding, 1 pillow per bed, green pool in July, bugs (possible bed bugs), charged extra when we arrived, wanted us to agree to give a positive review to save 10 CAD a day to park, 1 small bar of soap was offered, walls were all extremely dirty, office is closed 1am to 11am, they rent by the hour, rude people who service the rooms, and if i could post picture i would. Picture tell the facts. Oh the tub was full of water and made taking a shower like standing on a waterbed as water somehow got between the lining of the inside of the sides and bottom of the tub.
• Jennifer (2/5): - This is now called the oyo hotel. The place is filthy, mold in the tubs, carpet was sticky. My son and i woke up covered in bug bites. Our room had no lighting except for an overhead near the bathroom so they put a long extension cord and plugged in two hideous table lamps side by side on the floor. When we left in the morning, a pair of homeless people had blocked the passage to get down the stairs with bicycles and their bags, and were sleeping in the bottom stairwell.

No toilet paper. windows let in a LOT of humidity.. A/c didnt really work. Cleanliness didnt exist. Opened the bathroon door to a village of fruit flies. Lots of very sketchy people renting here...hookers, drug dealers, mental helath was lacking in many of the residents that stayed here. Didnt feel very safe. Lock on the door barely worked. Once arrived they tried to add on extra charges for this and that. Would not recommend this place especially if you have children.

I was staying here with my parents, how can 3 people adjust on one bed☹️☹️. They said they can give an additional bed with a bed sheet but no mattress. I am having back issues so I couldn’t sleep on that stupid bed. We adjusted on one bed . We couldn’t sleep the entire night at all. Now about the cleanliness, there were houseflies in the room. Washroom floor and the bath tub was having hair. The blanket was smelly. There were no tissue paper in the room.

• Kylie (8/5): Worth it. - The people were so friendly!! The outside looks a little rough, but the inside of the rooms were pretty good. Its only a 5 minute walk to the main strip but its quiet enough that you arent gonna be disturbed from everything. They have wifi and netflix on the smart tvs in the rooms. They do offer a lifetime membership for $20CAD. Overall it was pretty good and will be staying again.
• Nathaniell (2/5): - I was called at 6:00pm to confirmy reservation and informed the agent I would be arriving at 8pm. When I pulled up at 8:15 I was told they had no rooms. I found this weird because I had confirmed two hours prior. As I was being told this someone else came to the desk to inform them he wouldn't be staying there as when he checked in the room wasn't cleaned and there were dirty rags in the jacuzzi and garbage still in the room n that only the bed was made. So as he's cancelling and getting refunded they try to give me his room. Which wasn't the room I reserved (it was worse) for the same price as the dbl queen with Jacuzzi. By this point I was irate at the blatant disrespect and disregard of my reservation. They wanted 225 for the room. I went to the Oakes hotel which was less money for a beautiful room and great amenities. I would suggest nobody book here as they don't care about anything other than money. Expedia shouldn't be working with companies like this. Not too mention the drunk dudes screaming and walking around in thongs.

• MAC011 (2/5): FILTHY CESSPIT - This hotel is the filthiest, most disgusting hotel I have ever seen. We had booked a 2 night stay and what was advertised was absolutely nothing like the rundown filthy dump, which would not even be fit for an animal never mind a human being! The bathroom had cracked and broken floor tiles, the bath was filthy and had black mould around the sealant the basin was full of dirty water with a constantly dripping tap. There were holes in the walls, the a/c unit was held to the wall with duct tape, the decor was ancient with the paint chipped and cracked. The bed spread was too small for the bed, covered in cigarette burns and looked as filthy as the sheets. There were holes in the curtains, the bedside rug and chair were covered in stains and the furniture was not fit for a rubbish dump never mind a hotel room. How this doss house has not been closed down by environmental health is beyond me as it is totally unfit for purpose and it beggars belief that hotel sites like Hotels.com have allowed this on their website and display photographs that are nothing like the actual rooms. At check in they had the gall to ask for 150$ as a security deposit. As soon as we seen the state of the room we refused to stay and had to find alternative accommodation for our stay which thankfully we managed to find a much better place than that cockroach infested dump. This hotel should be closed as it is unhygenic, unsafe and a health hazard to anyone that has the misfortune to stay there.
• GEORGE (2/5): - The room was dirty .the doors were like never been cleaned the bathtub had a leak that was probably over 5 years and hadn't been fixed or cleaned and did not sleep all night .the air-condition was louder than a plane had toshut off. In general we were very disappointed with the whole experience. Never going to one of your establishment again.out of 10 i would give a minus 10 horrible experience

• dodgec2023 (2/5): Nightmare by Clifton Hill - There were rats in the parking lot, bugs in the sink, several centipede type bugs in the tub and the tub floor was squishy. It was like standing on a water bed...I almost fell out of the shower because the tub floor shifts around. We had 2 rooms, both tubs were the same. When you stand in the tub, water squirts out of the side onto the bathroom floor. No washcloths anywhere on the property, even though we requested them twice. We ended up buying some at Walmart. No soap. No housekeeping. The "housekeeper" makes a quick appearance every now and then carrying a 5 gallon bucket covered in paint, with dirty rags and cleaning supplies that they clearly do not use. Luckily, I always bring trash bags and hand soap when I travel. The walls were filthy, the bathroom was disgusting, and the furniture looked like they found it on the side of the road. The beds were broken, dirty, disgusting and had no frames..they were on box springs sitting on the floor. One of the rooms had curtains that were ripped so that only the outside edges were hanging. We fixed them enough to cover the windows. Staff couldn't be more unhelpful if they tried. Any time you asked a question or had a problem we were told "we have to call the owner". One of the rooms required 2 people to unlock; one to use both hands to turn the key and one to body slam the door to open it. The rooms had broken lampshades, no outlet covers, non working light switches and air conditioners that were held in the wall with tape and plastic. Half the rooms appear to be occupied by people that live there full time, one of which goes thru the trash cans outside regularly. The blankets were so gross that we slept with just the sheet, which was also not great. There was no fridge or microwave even though online it lists them as being in the room. They finally brought us a fridge. We opened it, and there were 2 gallon size bags of old watermelon in the fridge and some food in the freezer. No ice maker or soda machine. That wasn't a big deal because I could be dehydrayed to the point of turning to dust and I wouldn't eat or drink anything that came out of that place. There are jacuzzi suites listed on the sign. I know they do in fact have jacuzzis because after several occasions of hearing what I thought was 8 Harleys idling in the parking lot, I realized it was actually a jacuzzi somewhere in the building, rattling and shaking the entire block. The pool is not in operation, which based on the area around the pool is probably a good thing. My 16 year old son said he wouldn't get it in even it was open because he didn't want to catch gonorrhea. We booked our rooms 7 months in advance and the photos online didn't look bad. When you arrive, the outside is pretty bad. Check in was absolutely ridiculous and the rooms are completely disgusting. I realize it's a cheaper hotel, but that's no excuse to be barely above uninhabitable. I would never recommend staying at this place.
• Matt (2/5): RUN AWAY DO NOT STAY HERE ITS DISGUSTING - If this is your only option- don’t even come to Niagara Falls, it’s not worth it. It looks nothing like the pictures. See my pics. This is the most horror movie hotel experience I have had The room stunk like I don’t know what exactky - death and stale cigarettes? The beds were from the 70s and were squishy to even sit on. My chiropractor is going to love the many sessions. The paint was peeling off the wall- I expected Jason Vorhees to knock on the door or come crashing through the adjoining room door with a blanket stuffed under it any second. Front desk guy was really nice though.

• Nandagopal (4/5): - I have booked a 2 double bed but they give me a king bed mentioned they haven’t got the right info from Expedia.. no coffee as they promise.. Lot of Rats around.. except location and streaming services in smart Tv nothing pleasing .. Stayaway from this place
