Guest Reviews
- Favour (9/5): Blissful - Property was located outside the city in a ranch. It was kept clean and very peaceful staying there. Nothing.
- Valerie (9/5): Beautiful way to unplug and get away for a weekend. - It’s a beautiful property with great suites, views, animal friends, and nearby biking adventures.
- Brenda (10/5): A piece of heaven in the mountains - I loved all the animals around. It was a beautiful place with an amazing view. It is very spacious and would be a perfect getaway for a family with two separate bedrooms. In fact it has twice the room I currently have renting a two bedroom house. I love the log cabin esthetic so this was just wonderful. It was quiet and very peaceful. Lots of accommodation when it is warmer out to sit outside enjoying the view and the fresh air to read a book. Not much to say here. The only thing is if you are going to stay here do not take Hollywood Drive to get there. Find another route. That isn't anything they can control so it's not a strike against them at all. Just a warning for future guests.
- Talibah (10/5): Absolute paradise on the top of a mountain. Late night hot tubbing was a dream. - I had a lovely stay, this lodge is run by such a beautiful family. The horses and goats were adorable. Their grey cat would visit me in the morning and she was honestly the sweetest little thing. I can't wait o come back one day. There was nothing to mention. It's a beautiful place.
- Arber (10/5): - The house was clean and spotless, cozy and welcoming. Steph and Adrian were very friendly and nice. We even got fresh eggs for breakfast from the chickens. The kids enjoyed the bath tub and petting the goats. Will definetly return in the summer. Loved tha fact that it was so quiett, like a little paradise.
- Florence (9/5): -
- Michelle (8/5): -
- Martin (9/5): Well equipped rooms with friendly hosts. - Very well equipped rooms.
Owners very friendly and relaxed.
Good location for exploring the KVR trail. Could have done with 2 armchairs in our “suite”.
Merci beaucoup !
- Kalutota (9/5): Lovely Family Resort, Comfortable and Scenic - Really cozy spot run by a lovely family who made us feel welcome. The place had everything we needed with good amenities and a well stocked kitchen. It is also not too far from the city, and the drive in was windy but very scenic, which made getting there part of the fun. Would have been nice to have an iron, but that is a small thing.
- Roberta (10/5): Paradise island in Myra Canyon - Everything! The Eagle Studio was super cozy and welcoming. The view from the terrace was directly into the greenery, very relaxing. Steph and Adrian - the hosts - are warm and friendly! Nothing at all.
- Sylvie (10/5): Exceptionnel - L’accueil

- Anton (10/5): - Prachtige accommodatie op een hele mooie plek.
- Shengnan (10/5): - Very great experience for me and my families stay !
- Lorraine (10/5): Wonderful! - Lovely clean and comfortable! Enjoyed the animals there (goats, feather footed chickens, horses, dog and a very friendly cat). Peaceful and beautiful! We actually didn’t mind it, but we prepared for a long windy road up there!
- Loïc (10/5): Ongelooflijk mooi, een van de beste plaatsen waar ik al ooit gelogeerd heb - De locatie was fantastisch Niets
- Yiali (10/5): -
- William (10/5): - Wonderful rural location about half hour outside of Kelowna so can be inconvenient for inner-city activities. Gravel road access tricky for sports cars! Wonderfully quiet. Great view. Spacious. I enjoyed it and will return --with my jeep! Ha!
- Lay (10/5): - Nice lodge beautiful view to enjoy every meals day or night. Hot tub defintely is my favourite. Hope to come back soon. Thanks the host for their sharing your paradise lodge Nothing dislike
- Greg and Michelle (10/5): - The Lodge is set in such a tranquil location which facilitated an enjoyable reset from the busyness of day to day life. A total juxtaposition with the busy activity in the city.
The accommodations were clean and comfortable. The shower was amazing and the provisions for coffee and a light breakfast were appreciated.
The hosts, Steph and Adrian, are very pleasant and very accommodating. Thank you both! We will definitely consider a return in the near future.
We recommend renting an E bike and enjoying a trip along the trail and trestles of the old Kettle Valley Railway. A great way to take it all in.
- Caileigh (10/5): - I am no exaggerating when I say this was the loveliest, most relaxing stay ever. The grounds were quiet, couldn’t hear the other guests, and the little touches and amenities in the room were lovely. The patio space alone would be worth a 5 start review, it was a birder’s dream!
- Marco (10/5): Exceptional - Can't say enough good things about the bear suite and lodge overall. Almost wish I could keep this gem to myself. We had a great time, the hosts live on the property and are super friendly and helpfull. Rooms are amazing and super comfy
- Glenn (10/5): Exceptional -
- Claire (10/5): - Awesome place to stay, attentive owners, great facilities, beautiful and well stocked suite. Can’t recommend highly enough.
- Jacques (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ali (9/5): Superb -
- Yousefi (10/5): Awesome! - We had a wonderful stay at Myra Canyon Lodge! The place was super clean and peaceful, and one of our rooms had a breathtaking view of the lake and surrounding mountains. The balcony was cozy and perfect for relaxing, especially with the gas fire bowl that added a warm touch.
The kitchen was spotless and well-equipped for cooking, which made it easy to prepare our meals. Steph and Adrian are a lovely and welcoming family — very friendly and helpful throughout our stay.
The cottage is perched on top of the mountain, offering spectacular views. Just a heads-up: the weather up there is a bit cooler, and in March, the road was still snowy, so plan accordingly.
It’s a great spot for at least two families or a couple of friends looking to spend quality time together. There aren't any other activities nearby, so it’s perfect if you're just looking to relax, unwind, and enjoy nature.
Highly recommended for a quiet and scenic getaway!
- Cynthia (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kaili (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ziya (10/5): - Good place to stay for trips around Kelowna and big white. It is an hour drive from big white but it is a place I will love to stay again. Three bed available in the room
- Jennifer (10/5): - Wonderful studio. Clean and had everything we needed. Great hiking right out the front door. Host was very friendly and responsive.
- Leon (10/5): Exceptional - Beautiful and clean facilities and great location/views.
- Roberto (9/5): Superb -
- Hsin-hung (10/5): We all families do hope to stay here again with a whole week. - We prepard and cooked the breakfast ourselves. The Lodge is with very good room size. Two kids enjoy staying on a double size room or they can sleep separately on 2 floor beds. No air condition is required with nature and fresh air coming. We don't have time to play many card games preapred by the owners.
- Audrey (6/5): Pleasant but outdated property and lack of warmth - Charming exterior structure and very remote. good system for the windows to get the cold air in. The property looks like it hasn’t been updated in a long time, everything in the kitchen/bathroom is very old and outdated, including teas or body products. supposedly also a ranch but no more horses, looks semi-abandoned and much less fancy than in the pictures.
Owners aren’t here to greet you or say goodbye and it feels very transactional on the pretext of Covid era contactless checkin while most b&bs we stay at provided us with warmth and tips. Book a hotel if you want the services or an airbnb if you want the human connection, this is halfway and won’t make you happy.
- Yurai (7/5): Welcoming Hosts, Clean Rooms, Misleading Details on the Booking site. - The views from the place were spectacular; the lodge was clean, beautiful, and spacious, and the hosts are welcoming Some details were missing on the Booking site. The lodge map showed a spacious house, but when I arrived with my family, we only had access to the basement. This was very frustrating as I was excited to have the views and use the amenities mentioned. Additionally, the site claimed "BBQ facilities" and "strolling through the gardens," but neither was allowed. The house is nice, but room details and allowances should be clearly included
- Lindsay (8/5): Enjoyed staying at the Lodge. - A quite get away location close to the Myra Canyon. Owners were caring and made our stay very relaxing. No swimming pool.
- Rachel (8/5): Lovely place, would stay again but on a other level - Great facility, clean and well stocked. Lower level deer suite is incredibly loud when there’s another guest above. The loud footsteps above, all night were difficult to deal with.
Would have liked access to a smart tv- as an option, particularly on rainy weather days or when children are present.
- Amy (9/5): Superb -
- Cheryl p (10/5): Beautiful views - Beautiful place. Completely stocked. Decks with expansive views and heaters, chairs and tables. Owners very nice. We left our bikes on the car as there were no security concerns but there was covered storage as well. Only short distance up to Ruth station to get on kettle valley rail trail.
Our room was bird. It had a pretty long ladder to the loft bed so people not comfortable with a steep climb should pick a different room. I would definitely recommend this beautiful place.
- Georgia (10/5): Exceptional - Fantastic location for visiting the Myra Canyon Trestles. Beautiful building with amazing views
- kerri (10/5): You need to stay here! - Myra Canyon was amazing. Gorgeous views, hosts were awesome and we will be back for sure!!
- Amardeep (9/5): It was short stay and good for couples - Isolated from city and nice view Small rooms
- Heinrich (10/5): An excellent choice for staying in Kelowna - It is in an exceptional location with amazing views. The well-equipped kitchen is perfect for breakfasts and light cooking. The suite is spacious and well-illuminated, with plenty of natural lighting and good ventilation from the lake's winds. Bring a sleep mask if you want to sleep a bit longer in the summer.
- Kostic (10/5): Exceptional - It's a beautiful place if you like to isolate a bit. But yet to be close to the city. It's everything close by car ,about 10 min to everything.
Clean room ,accommodation with a lot of little cute decorative details, I love it. We met our host and chatted with them a bit, they are very lovely and friendly people. Our genuine recommendation for this place .
- Brent (10/5): - Beautiful room and view... very happy with this property...
- Jiaran (10/5): - Absolutely clean and great view!
- Jeff (10/5): - Beautiful building and property. Perfect for some R&R and getting up and away from the city.
- Brad (10/5): Exceptional -
- Mark (10/5): Exceptional - Great place to cook own food. All the amenities were available for cooking. Great facility and the sunset view from patio was amazing. Spent most of the time on patio which was spacious and well set out. The place even had outdoor heating. The host was very nice and friendly. The main bed was too soft and had to pay extra $140 with 4 additional people for 1 night. It seemed bit costly.
- Wei (8/5): Very good -
- Angela (9/5): Superb -
- Shane (8/5): Nice place, close to nature, but still close to town. - Kitchen and bbq available. Friendly and inobtrusive owners live upstairs. Easy to find. Close enough to town- and just far enough too! Large space- Would have been great value with the whole family if they could have come. Could use better pillow. Could also use better soundproofing- can hear every chair scrape and footstep above us. Entrance/picnic table/outdoor area being under a deck isn't greatest either but the view still nice.
- Shannon (10/5): Exceptional - The hosts were friendly, the suite had everything necessary and the views were stunning.
- Susan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Verified traveler (6/5): - No A/C
- Vivian (10/5): Exceptional -
- Regan (9/5): Superb -
- Geoff (10/5): - The property is beautiful. It is very clean, has all the amenities you need, and the views are amazing. The owners are wonderful people, very helpful. We enjoyed our stay immensely and we will be back!
- Otto (10/5): Superb stay in fantastic location. - Great architecture and layout. Nice outdoor space, including hot tub. Attention for detail in everything. Friendly and helpful hosts. Nothing.
- Douglas (9/5): Superb - Many steps to suite. No stable handrails OK for younger folks, but not for octogenarians
- Trisa (7/5): if your outdoors person you would love it - the view over looking the city was beautiful and the host where very helpful and extremely pleasant . due to the location it was a distance from any stores it was a 25 min drive out to grab anything , didn’t get a chance to enjoy the patio there where wasp nest all over so to have dinner outside nor sit and relax was t an option . Because of it being a lodge there where other guest that had children so we heard screaming children outside next to us very early in the morning so didn’t give us a chance to sleep in past 730 am both night we stayed
- Scott (10/5): - Nothing but positive from our end! Will be back and highly recommend!!!
- Nicole (10/5): - The quietness of the property was so relaxing! Best views ever 😍
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Myra is a very nice and quiet getaway. My only criticism was the lack of air conditioning. It was very hot inside and given the smoke, we couldn’t open windows for a breeze or cool down. It made our stay slightly uncomfortable.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Beautiful place to visit, and stay, if you can manage it with your schedule. Advanced booking is highly recommended, since there is just a handful suites available. Hosts are very friendly and willing to help with any special request you may have. Rooms are well equipped. We traveled with two girls (7 and 8 years old) and they enjoyed the nature and presence of chickens, horses, dogs and cats. Our daughter still sometimes talks about the horseback ride that took place 6 months ago. We hope to visit again.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - They are the kindest, sweet people. Wonderful hosts who have a beautiful facility, and a beautiful view!
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Having the chickens and horses around was exciting for my grandchild.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - What an amazing and beautiful place to stay! We can’t wait to visit again.
- Louis (10/5): - Awesome view of the city. Cozy and homey accommodation.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Beautiful stay at a spectacular location - Five of us shared a large suite at this beautiful property high in the mountains above Kelowna. This really is a special place that will appeal to a certain kind of traveller. Suite was clean and well appointed with lots of comfy seating and a kitchen which enables you to cook your own meals. If you are seeking peace and tranquility and you are organized enough to bring your own food up, this is the place for you. Views are beautiful and the hosts are lovely-warm but not intrusive. If you are staying here please keep in mind you are far from restaurants and groceries so plan accordingly.
The other thing I would say is that there is a hot tub on site but there was a rope across the entrance from our suite so I assume the other suite is the only one with access to it, which is a shame.
Also, while this was an excellent experience for our family, it would have been out of the park awesome if there was a social element to it...like maybe a free wine and charcuterie tasting in the late afternoon.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - This is an amazing property and the hosts were wonderful and very helpful and friendly. It was sparkling clean, had views that made you not want to leave your porch, and everything you could want. Bed was very comfy.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - we had a wonderful visit the accommodations we loved the Beds There were lots of dishes and lovely views from the large windows and very nice deck lots of chairs and an outdoor heater and barbeque Hot Tub to share soft towels lots of reading the material the couple we stayed with were great
- Verified traveler (10/5): Lovely B&B option - B&B with amazing views, cozy decor, and extremely gracious hosts!
- Kimberly (10/5): Comfortable, clean and fantastic views! - Amazingly quiet, beautiful spot and lovely hosts. Great for families and lots of outdoor activities nearby. Would definitely return!
- Christina (10/5): My new fav place to stay in kelowna - Good host, spectacular view of kelowna from the balcony. Good for big family. Room come with kitchenete and bbq, but no oven. It also have a hot tube but is shared with others. If you like riding horse they also do horse riding service. Great wifi too for a place on top of a mountain.
- Jeffrey (8/5): - We have a very nice peaceful quiet stay. We will definitely come back and would recommend this to others.
- Linda (10/5): - Stunning views. Kathrin and Rolf were the perfect hosts. Room was very comfortable it was an unexpected pleasure to be there.
- Ko (10/5): - Great location with gorgeous view! Very friendly and helpful hosts. Very good experience and a nice getaway :)
- Marty (8/5): Quiet getaway - Nice resort that is quiet. Nice change.
- Gary (4/5): No Longer bed and breakfast but priced like it - We did not know this was no longer a bed and breakfast-Strike 1. The former breakfast room was converted to another room, so access was blocked to the spa and only this room can use it! Strike 2. The shower/bath was the most difficult I have ever used. It freestanding, sits up on a slippery when wet step, and has a ridiculous wrap around curtain that is off center so there is virtually no way to not have a large slit in the curtain. So water splashes out onto the slippery step! BIG strike 3. The refrigerator is OKAY, but had no freezer, and wasn't told there was a tiny one sitting outside on the floor. Finally, the windows that face the actual bed have no curtain (and the others do not have room darkening curtains) so don't plan on taking a nap during the day. The horse riding is on the property, 100 feet from the hotel, which is very convenient, but the smell wafts a bit through the rooms, but not too bad. The one thing that it had really going for it was a spectacular view. We stayed in the Eagles crest room.
- BYUNG WOOK (10/5): - Good quiet kind 2 dogs are great
- shin (10/5): Great ranch in the mountain. - I had really wonderful time. Quite and clean. Very friendly staff.
- Martin (10/5): Wonderful place with fabulous views - The drive up to Myra Canyon ranch is well worth it.
The rooms are large, well fitted out and have large outdoor terraces. Suitable for a glass of wine while the Sun goes down. The views go on and on.
The ranch is quiet and we slept excellently ready for exploring each day.
The owners were really friendly and suggested some local walks. There is also plenty to do in the area - no matter what your fitness level is.
The only downside is I wish we could have stayed longer!
- kory (10/5): Best stay ever - The stay was incredible, Felt like home. was such an incredible experience and if you are thinking of booking it just take the leap. well worth it.
- Amber (10/5): A very comfortable and relaxing place to stay! - We stayed in the Eagle's nest suite, and it had all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay. Rolf & Kathrin truly thought of everything! The bath tub was my favourite. Their horses are great, and we enjoyed our trail ride. The room had a wonderful and private view, as well. I highly suggest a stay there!
- Glenn H (8/5): Spacious hardwood rooms with fabulous view - Beautiful wood home with spacious rooms with kitchenette and deck. Lovely view of Kelowna city , valley and Okanagan lake. Bring your own food.
- Elaine (10/5): Nice and clean B and B - Had a great experience here. B and B was clean and cozy. Location was ideal, close to hikes with a good view. Hot tub was very nice. Hosts were super friendly and helpful.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Great stay - This is our third time staying at the lodge; great stay and both Rolf and Kathrin (owners) were very accommodating to our specific needs, namely providing a crib and booster seat for our baby. We felt very relaxed and pampered during our stay, thank you!
- Ryan (10/5): Fantastic stay - Great staff and service, incredible breakfast.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - What an amazing place. It's a 20 min drive down town but well worth it for the view, the breakfast and overall stay. Beautiful home. The hosts are so friendly but not clingy. I would recommend this place to everyone.
- Terry (10/5): Great for outdoor activities - This B&B is located well outside of town which is what I was looking for. It is on the edge of a Provincial Park that contains, among other things, a historic section of rail bed complete with trestles. I took advantage of this to take a long snowshoe hike while there.
The proprietors are wonderful people. They took great care of the guests.
The room that I stayed (the lowest cost) had an odd layout but was located immediately off of the outdoor deck. The deck was spacious and had a great view of the Okanogan Valley below. The deck would have more enjoyable in the summer season but the hot tub was appreciated.
All in all a great stay. I will certainly return when back in the region.
- Dennis (10/5): Exceptionally amazing! - The B&B is located half way up the Myra Canyon overlooking Kelowna.
The hosts are very friendly and the room was clean. Breakfast was exceptionally great with homemade German bread!
If you are looking for a place to relax and have great time with your family, maybe do some horseback riding,or biking on the railway trestles, or some adventure tree climbing for young and old- that is the place!
It is definitely worth the money and longlasting great memories with the family. We will come again FOR SURE!
- Lisa (10/5): Fantastic! - We only stayed one night but it was fantastic. Wish we could have stayed longer. Warm hosts, great breakfast, amazing place! Would recommend and go back.
- Stephen (10/5): Exactly what we needed for a relaxing getaway! - The host and hostess were quite friendly. Available but minded our private time. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and would recommend this BnB to anyone.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Very nice, but odd sleeping/bathing arrangements - The hosts are pleasant and welcoming; the location and views spectacular; the breakfast plentiful and delicious, however the accommodation was certainly not what we expected. The room is advertised as having 2 queen beds; however, one of those beds is a bunk located high above the other bed and can be accessed only by a very steep, narrow ladder. Since neither of us was physically able to climb the ladder, we had no choice but to share a bed. Although the description clearly states that the room has a private bathroom, the shower is an all-glass enclosure located right in the main part of the bedroom: no walls = no privacy. We’re not a “couple”, so to maintain modesty, one of us had to vacate the room while the other showered. Not a very comfortable arrangement. The only part of the bathroom that’s located in a room with a door is the toilet. We viewed the pictures of the rooms on the booking site, but because of the angle from which the shots are taken, these oddities are not obvious. Since none of this was pointed out to us until our arrival, it was too late to try to find accommodation elsewhere. Also, oddly, there’s no closet, just a chain hanging from the ceiling with a few coat hangers dangling from it. We most likely would not have booked a stay here if we had known about these quirks. If you’re accustomed to sleeping and/or bathing together, it would be a delightful place to stay.
- Etienne (10/5): Very nice getaway in wine country - Stayed at the Myra Canyon Ranch B&B for 2 nights. The B&B is well-situated for doing winery tours and visiting the Trestle bridges. The owners are very friendly and are happy to provide advice on places to eat in the area or pretty much anything else. The room and common areas were clean and very comfortable. I would not hesitate to recommend this B&B or to return there in the future.
- Jan (10/5): WOnderful place, wonderful people - This bed and breakfast was everything it was made out to be. Having never gone the bed and breakfast route, we were pleasantly surprised. Our hosts were very helpful and pleasant. This is more like a boutique hotel than a BnB. We took advantage of the horseback riding - fantastic - and the Myra Canyon Adventure park. The BnB, horses and the adventure park are all owned by the same family - and top notch. We will definitely be back. Thank you for a wonderful weekend.
