Guest Reviews
- HANS M (10/5): - Great location.
- Francisco (4/5): - We had to change rooms due to no hot water. The lighting was horrible
The tv options too limited
The pools were great
The service was amazing
Location was great
- Atanascio (6/5): - The room key at first didn't work then they had changed the room key but the door latch was not properly fixed so it made it hard to enter the room.
- Juan (10/5): - Amazing
- Leonard (8/5): - Lake view was good
- Roxanna (8/5): - Great staff. Very helpful and kind.
- Fernando (4/5): - Un hotel venido a menos. Viejo. Hay otras opciones mejores en la isla.
- Andrea (10/5): - The staff is sooo nice, and the rooms spotless, the only thing is that you can hear the music from the bars around very loudly.
- Bertha (10/5): - Great place to stay
- Edgar (2/5): - Definitely my last stay there , no water ,
- Justin (10/5): - Excellent Staff! Great place. Perfect Location.
- Jacqueline (4/5): - Rooms look nothing like when you are booking.
Not happy at all with this property
Definitely would not stay again
- brian (6/5): - Two pools was nice, but having a room without a window and a door to a community porch was terrible. The staff did not inform us that the power outlet at the bedside table would be 220v. So after our fans burned up, we discovered this issue. Power had multiple outages without reason during each day we were there. Look out for the cockroaches, they are big.
- Jennifer (4/5): - The pool was closed outside and the inside one seemed dirty. Very disappointed kids.
- FREDY LUPERIO (6/5): - None
- Jeaneane (8/5): - Very helpful front desk
- Lesbia (8/5): - It was a very Good experience, nice staff
- Sarah (8/5): - The staff were amazing and very helpful. The rooms had AC which was great and the pools were wonderful. The hallways did have a smell and the bathroom had mould in the roof as there had been a leak but it wasn’t properly fixed. Overall, a good experience other than the few property issues.
- Martha (10/5): - The hotel was close to the bus we took to and from Belize City so it made out trip easier. The air conditioner broke in our room and they sent someone up quickly to look at it and gave us a different room as soon as they realized they couldn't fix it.
- Rob (6/5): - Very old and slightly run down. Pool area was nice but the grey water smell was not good. Bathroom is super tiny. Bathroom door opens against the sink.
- Albert (6/5): - We liked the resort because of the island location, convenient to nearby shopping/dining. Noise levels are high in the area and goes late into the night.
- Mario (8/5): - Great area to stay and walk around the island. The only inconvenience was that there was a power outage and they had to have a generator on must of the night.
- Alma (8/5): - The Hotel Ramada is a great gateway to everything Peten has to offer. It has a centric location to make trips to all the Mayan ruins and natural attractions. The best part of the hotel is the staff. Gamaliel Chamale is a wonderful host that quickly organized all of our tours with diligence and precision. The success of our trip, and the reason why I would go back to this hotel, is owed to him. The breakfast staff is also really kind and willing to accommodate requests. The hotel is a little rundown and could use a renovation (bathrooms have a strong drain smell, the hot water is inconsistent, wall paint is peeling off) but it is still comfortable. We enjoyed the pools and thought it was the best offer in the Flores area.
- Aaron (8/5): - Pretty good place
- Peter (6/5): - Excellent location
- Denice (4/5): - .
- juan pablo (6/5): - One night stay with my family.
- Javier (8/5): - The facilities look deteriorated. The pool wasn't clean enough and bad smell in the elevator.
- Anya (6/5): - No hot water in our room and power went out several times.
- 365anyar (6/5): You get what you pay for. - The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. We had a nice view of the lake. The indoor pool was cold and the outdoor pool was warmer but murky. There was no hot water in the shower and the power went out several times. Our room was close to the generator which was very loud when the power went out. The AC worked and was a nice addition. Overall, you get what you pay for at this budget hotel.
- Mirtala (8/5): - Good atención
- Larry (8/5): Needs some work but fun pool for family - The hotel was more like multiple cabins but spacious. No hot water for the shower or washclothes. No phone in the room. Most of the outlets didn't work. The air conditioner leaked a big puddle in the room. Behind the bed wasn't clean, bugs and little lizard. Outside was very nice the pool was perfect for family fun.
- Peter (10/5): - Clean, comfortable and friendly staff.
- aura (6/5): - planchs y telefono no servian, muchachos con musica afuera.
- Odion (8/5): - Great Place!
- ISAAC (8/5): - Very convenient location
- KahriAnne (10/5): - Nice room and location
- Haralambos (10/5): Clean, comfortable hotel - Nice hotel, friendly staff and comfortable clean rooms. Everything is within walking distance, as the island is tiny!
- Bharti (8/5): - It was good experience. The location, staff
- cristina (10/5): - Friendly and helpful staff
- Kelly (10/5): - Nice hotel everything was clean rooms are nice
- marlin (10/5): - I like that it was close to nice dinning areas and walkable. Enjoy to go out with the family..
- Feliza (10/5): - Very nice place to stay. Clean, quiet and friendly place.
- Rosa (10/5): - Very exceptional staff and service. Great amenities and great location. Walking distance to many restaurants and 10 minute drive to Airport.
- vaquero (10/5): - I like everything
- Evelin (10/5): - Very peaceful and greeting place.
- 347lauriee (10/5): I would stay here again! - I loved staying at this hotel. The rooms were very comfortable. We had 3 rooms that all overlooked the lake. The man at the desk was professional, friendly and helpful. The entire area around the hotel is delightful for exploring and enjoying food and drink.
- Meghan (8/5): - Great price for the location and conveince
- Jennifer (4/5): - Property was run down, door did not close properly. Hot water did not work. Shower drain was plugged. Did not have towels in the room. Too expensive for not so great hotel. I thought it being part of the Ramada chain, it would be better.
The only good part was the breakfast. The food was good and the waiter was very pleasant.
- Douglas (4/5): - Internet was not working the first night until almost the next evening said it was an issue with the whole island. Lies
- Gloria (10/5): - Enjoyed it
- Victor Manuel Reyes (8/5): - The lake view that’s what I like about the property.
- John (10/5): - A nice place to stay on the island. Very friendly staff and a nice pool.
- Brandon (10/5): - Great location off the water. A great nightlife atmosphere near the hotel.
- christian (10/5): - Convenient, sefe to walk around, friendly, super clean walk distance for everything.
- Byron Bitelio (10/5): - Nice clean hotel
- Eddie (10/5): - Very pleasant and quiet, loved the island.
- Cecilia (10/5): - The staff was very helpful amd friendly. They helped us with a reputable boat person to take us on a tour of the lake and it was just us two which nice.
This is the only hotel in Flores with their own parking and it is gated which is great.
- Francisco (6/5): - Excellent property. I asked for the upper level with a view, and I was ignored. The receptionist must listen to visitors' needs or advise their options so we know in advance what we are getting. A water warmer is available, but there are no drinking cups in the room.
- Sergio (8/5): - Is ok rooms has better days i believe but for a couple night is fine, no fridge no breakfast included but i found excellent places for it very close to this place , in general is ok
- Rolando (4/5): - Es una propiedad vieja y mal mantenida
- Shelley (10/5): - Everything about this be place was amazing! Staff very courteous and accommodating! Leno spoke to us in English and helped us book a great trip to Tikal at sunrise. The pools were both beautiful and comfortable. 10 stars!!
- David (8/5): - Nice place, good service, nice locatio
- rons320 (8/5): Ramada Tikal Isla De Flores Hotel - The hotel is dated but it's good for the price paid. I needed a hotel located on the Isle with parking and it suits it perfectly. The small parking lot is in the back of the hotel. You will need an attendant to open the gates for you. The room was dated but spacious, clean. The sound insulation is pretty bad and the loud music from an action park on the the other side of the lake can be a problem. Hot water is long to arrive and is rather tepid but acceptable after a hot day. Very nice and friendly staff. Breakfast was good with combination dishes to select from. You can see the hotel with its bright red and white exterior from the plane. I stayed there twice, upon arrival to Flores and on return from Tikal in a couple of days.
- Michele (6/5): - Decently priced room compared to other hotels in the area. Room far too small for a family of 4. Low pressure water.
Staff super nice and helpful.
It’s not on a nice street but is 4-10min Wales from the nicest areas of town.
- Kelvin (10/5): - Cleanliness
- Juan (10/5): - Great service
- Magaly (10/5): - Customer service great
- Tania (10/5): - Nice property
- George (10/5): - Staff were fantastic.
- Jose Leonardo (10/5): - We stayed here for 9 days, the staff is very helpfull and clean your room daily. The hotel is located near everything you need during your stay.
- Elsy (4/5): - The property is very outdated and rundown. The toilet was dirty and we had to ask for them to come and clean it. The rooms are very small and parking is a nightmare. My vehicle had to stay outside the gated parking and behind other vehicles. They do not have enough parking for guests. We had to park behind other vehicles and by 7am front desk rang the room to go move the vehicle so other guests leave.
- Cristián (6/5): - There aré better options in confort and service, but the location and parking aré excellent
- Sonia (8/5): - Excellent place, we loved it but not water to take showers and not parking
- Ana (4/5): - My room had a really bad smell in the bathroom. First I thought it was because the toilet was not clean, but since bad smells persisted, I think siphons did not worked propertly.
In general, hotel looked uncleanliness. Bed linens are old and room has not been renew since 10-15 years ago. I think they should work in maintenance and update the hotel conditions.
Even staff was very friendly and tried to help; i would not chose this hotel again.
- Carmen (10/5): - I loved the pool area and the location was perfect on the small island. Had a little difficulty finding the entrance. Parking was safe, they have a parking lot in the back that is opened and closed by staff, must request to have it opened. Staff came by every morning to tidy up the room, which was super nice to come back to. The entrance and doors get locked at a certain time, my brothers almost got locked out for the night. Would definitely go back, staff was incredibly friendly.
- Laura (4/5): Not recommended - This hotel is outdated and worn out. When it was built decades ago, I’m sure it was grand and designed to be a jumping point to Tikal. There are two swimming pools. The smaller one was so cloudy that I did not want to put a toe in it. The other one was a little better but with insects and hairs in it, I also felt uncomfortable in the pool. While towels and sheets were clean, I did not feel comfortable in this hotel because of cleanliness. Ironically it is one of the more expensive hotels in the area too. I would choose Hotel Isla de Flores if I were to return.
- Abhishek (4/5): - Rooms and washroom was not clean
- RONY (8/5): - .
- Andrea (10/5): Wonderful comfortable stay! - It was great! It had a safe to store your belongings and wonderful friendly staff!
- Berenice (8/5): - Nice property
- guido (10/5): - Lovely place to stay
Nice hospitality.
The only thing was the level of the water lake that took part of street you couldn't cross.
Nice walk around, and many places to eat.
- EDGAR (8/5): - Its OK just to sleep and if you want to use the swimming pool other wise food and beverages no good.
- Jeremiah (10/5): - Excelente
- Yadira (8/5): - Very clean and comfy!
