• Ryan (10/5): - A fantastic house in a quiet and secluded part of the big island with very quick access to the national park. There are great restaurants nearby and it has a well stocked kitchen if you prefer to cook. There isn’t a grocery store near but I knew that as this wasn’t my first trip to this part of the island. Good Wifi and cable on the living room tv. The owner greeted me, gave a quick tour of the house, went over a few ground rules (close the gate), and showed some of her favorite parts of the island. She also mentioned that the hot tub wasn’t working 100%, it wasn’t very hot, but mentioned that it was going to be serviced soon. Check in and check out were a breeze!

• Sarah (10/5): Wonderful house for a family stay! - We loved the house with it's trails around the property and the little fish pond. The hammock and hot tub were great little extras! In the town on Volcano, which in April the nights were cooler because of the elevation.....so bring extra clothes! The best Thai restaurant in Volcano, just minutes away from the house! It was really great to be so close to Kilauea, but if you are looking for beach time, Volcano is not the place to stay! The house is on a quiet street and the stars are amazing here! The home owners left little extras for kids too...stuffed animals, games, pack &play, and others!!
• Verified traveler (10/5): - This is a beautiful home located close to Volcano National Park. We were nestled in a rainforest. The landscaping is gorgeous. 2 Adults and 4 children and plenty of space for all of us. We read books in the hammock, enjoyed early morning soaks in the hot tub and went on runs around the town. Loved being so close to all of the great hiking in the park. So much to do close by.

• Rajesh (10/5): Amazing - best place we stayed - The property is amazing. Very close to where we wanted to be near the Volcano National Park. Drive down to HILO for our Volcano Boat Tour went without a hitch, The hosts are incredibly gracious and had everything we needed. Very responsive over text email or phone and made our trip very very memorable. Love it and hope to come back sometime soon.

• Verified traveler (8/5): Gorgeous but be prepared - Overall, we loved our stay here, though we were a bit oversold by the description. The area is just lovely and the home is gorgeous. Everything was well cared for and has a great energy. We were very close to the Farmer's Market and just minutes away from Volcanoes National Park. My daughter loved the hammock and ping pong table and my husband enjoyed the hot tub after a long hike in the park, though the water was a little stinky. However, one of the reasons we chose this home was for the laundry facilities. After booking, I even verified with one of the property managers by email and had the information confirmed that we would have a washer and dryer to use for our 3 night/4 day stay...I was told to bring our own soap. But when we arrived, the laundry area was locked up. We wouldn't have booked this unit if we'd known this, as it was a requirement for us. Not a great way to start our trip. Also, the fireplace/stove was broken prior to our arrival and my family was so so cold during our stay. There were extra blankets that helped at bedtime but during meals and shower times we were very uncomfortable. A space heater would have been nice during the cold and rain. My daughter's teeth were chattering! The property is lovely and offered us a unique, non-hotel experience in Volcano Village, despite not living up to the descriptions on VRBO, Air BNB, etc. Mahalo for welcoming us.
• yang (10/5): 绝妙的火山小木屋住宿体验 - 非常迷人舒适的火山小木屋，是我此次大岛旅程中最惬意的住宿体验。首先是地理位置很好，距离火山国家公园大门3公里，是最适宜的住宿地点。其次，3居室的小木屋干净舒适，设备齐全，整洁干净，真是家一般的体验。厨房设备齐全，适合自己动手做饭，非常温馨。小木屋坐落于丛林之中，晚间万籁俱静，空气清新，真是难得的放松。房东Mauricio和Paola非常热情好客，带着我们参观木屋介绍各种设备。 火山公园很大，如果是您大岛旅程的重点，那么这个小木屋作为落脚之地实在是好选择。距离希洛有40分钟的车程，游玩大岛东部也可以接受而不必搬家。友情提示，如果自己做饭，最好去希洛城的大型超市采购食物，这个镇子实在太小。
• Cecilia (6/5): Bellissimo ma che freddo! - La casa è molto bella ed immersa nella natura. La proprietaria è stata davvero gentile e disponibile e nonostante fossimo arrivati prima rispetto all'orario del check in ci ha fatto lasciare i bagagli. Facendo la spesa al market del villaggio militare all'interno del parco, abbiamo potuto cucinare un piatto di pasta usufruendo della cucina molto grande e ben attrezzata. La sala è molto grande e spaziosa riscaldata da un camino, i bagni comodi, i letti un po morbidi ma tutto sommato accettabili; pulizia praticamente perfetta! Sono disponibili sia la lavatrice che l'asciugatrice. Il patio è attrezzato con un Ping pong ed altri giochi e una vasca idromassaggio riscaldata molto piacevole. Unica pecca di questa struttura è il fatto che l'unica stanza riscaldata è la sala con camino quindi le stanze da letto e i bagni sono molto freddi: l'ambiente è davvero gelido!
• Rebekah (10/5): Coziness in heaven! - A little hard to find, but the house was amazing. Loved the front porch and the wood burning stove in the living room. So cozy. Didn't want to leave. There is ample room for anyone in this place. There were only 2 of us, but we were so wishing that our kids and grandkids would have been with us. There would have been plenty of room for everyone. As a photographer, I didn't want to leave. I could've taken a 1,000 pictures just walking around the house. Wonderful!! And the owners were so nice. I left a camera battery and she mailed it back home to me right away. We will definitely stay here again when we come back to Hawai'i.

• Verified traveler (10/5): Your dream home in the Hawaiian rain forest - Wow! There is nothing about this property, inside and outside that isn't thoughtful, comfortable, luxurious and restorative. It's beautiful, quality in each room, a great TV/technology system, along with trails, a hot tub and ping pong table. LL bean flannel sheets and two amazing stone showers... Everything you could want in a dream home but comfortable enough to make use of it and feel it is yours... For a bit.

• Andy (10/5): Great Property - This is a private self contained 3 bedroom and two bathroom timber house set in native bush. I was travelling with my son and we added two days on to a Maui golf trip and flew to the Big Island to check out the volcanos. The owners were great and met us there and showed us the property and then left. Beautiful timber home with all mod cons and a big deck outside. Wish we could have stayed longer.
