- John (9/5): Nice views from the room. - My room was 100 feet from the restaurant where I ate breakfast. It was easy to get to, even though it was snowing. There was no soap in the shower dispenser. There was a sign that said there would be a $50 charge if we didn't do our dishes. Parking was inconvenient. The electric outlets needed to be upgraded

- HONGJUN (7/5): Not value of the money - It's near the June Lake. There's a very good restaurant next to it. It was not clean enough. There was too mush dust on the furniture, not mention to the floor. There was even a living fly in the room. The room downstairs was not quiet enough. There was noise all through the night from the upstairs and neighbor rooms, and some equipment nearby was beeping nearly all night.

We only stayed for one night so didn’t use the kitchen area but it was well stocked with equipment to use. The location was fantastic, by both June and Gull Lakes, with trails to walk along. - Price (10/5): - June lake is very beautiful. We enjoyed 2 nights here. The room was really cute and clean and the front desk ladies were really nice. You are also right in town so you can walk to get food.

- Paul (8/5): - I liked that they gave us an early check in if we arrived early, unfortunately we did not get to use it. The room being older was recently upgraded with new bath fixtures and tile. The linens and bed were nice and very comfortable. The lock on the door seemed weak so we double checked door lock every time we left. The motion sensor switch for bathroom kept coming on in the middle of the night and went off while taking showers. Overall our stay was comfortable.

The lodge was really quiet, so we were able relax and fall asleep without problems. The sower was phenomenal! The bed was extremely comfortable and firm.

- luc (9/5): Tres bon motel dans village tres sympa. - Motel très mignon dans un village typique de montagne aux USA. Chambre simple et rustique mais avec beaucoup de charme. Kitchennette simple mais très pratique. Belle vue sur la montagne. Pas de petit déjeuner, mais restaurant très sympa juste à coté pour petit déjeuner ou diner. Très pratique pour profiter du magnifique lac ou pour une étape vers Yosemite ou Bodie. Merci à Darla pour son accueil :) Prix un peu cher.

The property is exceptionally well maintained, with a cozy mountain-lodge atmosphere that feels both inviting and relaxing. Its central location in June Lake made it easy to enjoy everything the area has to offer…restaurants, shops, the brewery, and the lakes themselves are all within walking distance. The room was thoughtfully furnished with everything needed for a comfortable stay, and the attention to detail was evident throughout. The staff was genuinely warm and accommodating, adding a personal touch that made the experience even more memorable (shoutout to baby Jack!). Overall, it provided the ideal balance of hospitality and atmosphere for a quiet and peaceful stay in the Eastern Sierra.

The room was clean but the floor could have been cleaned better as we had a baby crawling and she got filthy with dirt. The floor not being cleaned well enough for a crawling baby.

- Claire (10/5): One of the best in June Lake - Darla at the front desk was amazing - so helpful! The kitchen, bathroom, bedroom and living room were so clean. The beds were comfortable. The location is great. You can walk to everything. Returning customers get a 10% discount if you book through the Villager! I think it is one of the best in June Lake.

I got 2 rooms, one for myself and the other for a family member. They proprietors gave us rooms next to each other without asking! The Location is in downtown June Lake and steps from the Brewery. Also, an easy walk to both Gull and June lakes for fishing. VERY convenient. View from room and balcony of Carson Peak - AMAZING during sunrise. I did not use the fish cleaning facility, but there is one, and it looked capable. Also, there was a nice courtyard with a BBQ. Plenty of Ice from the Ice Machine. Everything was clean and ready for us when we arrived, before 4:00! The light sensor in the bathroom illuminated the whole room (we kept the bathroom door open at night), every time the AC went on. A nite-light would be better. AC unit disallowed you from opening the front window. The AC unit was good, but an open window at night would have sufficed. I'm a bit of a coffee snob, and was not happy with the motel's selection. Fortunately, there is an awesome coffee shop just steps away.

WIFI was very bad, but we did not come to the mountians to watch TV or stare at our phone so that was not too big of an issue
