- Mark (9/5): Awesome view of mount adams, spacious room, decent facilities - Large room with couch, large tv, acceptable bathroom Lighting. No light in the coffee making area. Maid service: they were taking my trash every day but I wasn’t sure of anything else.
- Richard (7/5): - Friendly welcome
Comfortable beds
Clean Second room no window so dark
All a bit tight for space/ slightly strange rooms set up
- Charlie (7/5): Pleasant - Didn’t know there was breakfast included Broken hot tub
- Barnes (10/5): We will stay again - The staff was extremely helpful
- Elizabeth (10/5): - Great staff, great atmosphere, clean, and quiet.
- Villarreal (9/5): -
- Chris (4/5): Would not stay here again until changes are made. - Used to be nicer, pre 2023, location is great, price is good Rooms are dated, beds not comfortable, tv is terrible, tiny bar soap, outlets by bed were broken, hot tub not available, they didn’t tell me about that. Neighbor who lives next door smoked cigarettes, smoke would drift into my room 🤢

- Daniel (8/5): - Safe space to be outside with young children and a dog. Room was clean and large enough to be comfortable. Beds were comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful. Some ants in the bathroom.
- Steven (10/5): - Close to many shops and eateries. Good value. The couple who run the lodge were kind and attentive. We were very comfortable.

- EILEEN (10/5): Hood River gem for dogs and thenpeople whonlove them. - Great place for dogs, reasonable pet fees. The staff was so accomodating. Room was clean and nicely updated, comfortable beds. Easy walk to a great breakfast place. Would be good to add a dog bag dispenser.
- Kristi (10/5): Wonderful - Location. Easily within walking distance to downtown. Picture window view of Mt Adams. A second chair in our room.
- Mary (6/5): -
- Trever (9/5): Great weekend stay. - Reception was very friendly and the location is excellent. My room was renovated and was much nicer than the photos online, which was a nice surprise. Expensive, but that just seems to be the case with all lodging in Hood River during peak summer.
- Andrew (9/5): - Clean, affordable stay with super friendly staff. This is apparently a family-owned place and it shows. Located within easy walking distance of several great restaurants, so dump the car and enjoy a stroll through a pretty downtown that is not a tacky tourist trap. An unexpected highlight of our trip. Thank you! Really nothing.
- Sutherland (5/5): Convenient and inexpensive stay. Don’t care for the cold hard floors. Bed could use more blankets. - Close to shops and food. Pool and hot tub were not working. Drain in tub did not work great.
- Nanette (9/5): - Cute clean spot. Great break from our road trip! No complaints
- Jason (3/5): Uncomfortable and stinky in hood river - The view from the parking lot was great. The first thing was the terrible smell in the room. It smelled like the room was a smoking room and then it was attempted to be covered up. The toilet wasn't clean but had a sanitized sticker on it. The beds were nowhere near comfy, there was just a flat sheet covering the mattress, not even tucked in just laying there. The pool was cold and the hot tub is not in use.
- michael (10/5): Very pleasant and will stay there again - It was very clean and they were very accompanied
- Robert (10/5): -
- Bryanna (10/5): - Staff was fantastic, it was quiet, & clean
- mandy (9/5): Would stay there again. - Weren’t there long, but staff we interacted with were super and place was clean.
- Katherine (10/5): - The staff was exceptional, everyone was very kind and helpful! I also liked the location, close to town, quiet and clean.
- Lolita (10/5): Roomy hotel - a perfect distance from the bustle of town! - The hotel staff were very friendly & cordial! We were in constant communication via email about our arrival time and a special request that we had. They even provided my husband with a ceramic cup to use in the microwave to heat up hot water for his tea!!
The room is larger than most hotel rooms, which made it feel roomy! The size of the room, the shower and the special nook for beverages (ice bucket, cups, and coffee maker) was a nice little addition to the room. A small suggestion please, would be to add an extra cozy chair (besides the one at the desk), to sit, read and enjoy ones coffee or tea and to read in.
The hotel is also situated a nice distance from the bustle of downtown which made it a perfect opportunity to walk and enjoy the area. We will most definitely be back! Not much really. An extra cushy chair to read in would have been lovely. Also, we noticed that the 'fan' first blew out cold air before putting out heat.
- VISHVAA (9/5): Great stay! - The staff was very friendly and the hotel had all basic amenities for your stay.
- Cassandra (10/5): Fast and friendly check in, very clean room! - Very clean and quiet I liked everything about it

- Debbie (9/5): -
- Marcus (10/5): - Location and cost were a great value. The front desk staff was helpful, attentive, and friendly. We would definitely stay there again.
- Cornforth (8/5): - The price was right, the room was clean and comfortable, and the lady at the front desk was very sweet. I chose the motel based on the advertisements for the pool, hot tub, and spa, so finding out the hot tub was empty and out of use was a disappointment, and there wasn't anything else that could be identified as a "spa."
- Amnette (7/5): A decent stay. Room was clean. Note spa tub not working and pool was over chlorinated - staff was best part of stay - Staff was amazing. She went above and beyond to get us a room that fit our needs Bed frames were metal and every time you touched them, they made a loud clang -- bed sheets and towels were scratchy
- Harry (10/5): - Friendly and helpful staff. Room buildings and grounds were clean.
- Suzanne (7/5): I needed a place to sleep that evening and this filled the bill-I'mambivalent about recommendation. - no breakfast offered. the mattress was comfortable. the bd frames were metal and every time you bumped it or rolled over on your bed it would squeak. there was no counter space for your toiletries. i could hear people outside my room talking in the morning.
- Pamela (8/5): -
- Jan (9/5): Nice place to stop - This lodge was a great place to stay. The receptionist was friendly and recommended good places to eat. I loved the rooftop where I hung out to watch the sunset and a couple staying at the lodge set up under a fir tree and practiced their music 🎶 A beautiful ending to a day of exploration.
- Vicki (6/5): - The place was clean but for the price I would have expected to have a riv.er view. There seemed to be only a few guest there the same night I was and we were all on the bottom level with the only view was of the parking lot and the busy road. The place was clean, but not very updated.
- Kathryn (10/5): - Great to find
- Van (10/5): - Very. Friendly and Accommodating
- Loree (10/5): - Had issues getting TV channels to work. Kept freezing and encountering disabled channel error codes.
- Tara (10/5): - Cozy and comfortable
- Rory (10/5): - Helpful staff
- Meredith (10/5): - Good price for the town for my short trip for a wedding.
- Teresa (10/5): -
- Valentina (8/5): - Nice motel, friendly staff, walkable to shopping and restaurants.
- Stacy (3/5): - The beds were comfortable the pool was freezing the bathroom was so little you couldn't shut the door and there was no water pressure in the shower it just dribbled out.
- Philip (10/5): - Very friendly and helpful staff.
- Rechele (10/5): -
- Guadalupe (10/5): - Never judge a book by its cover. Great bed, quiet and perfect for myself, hubby and 4 month old baby
- Ahmed (9/5): I loved it. I'd certainly be back - The balcony with river view. Otherwise the room as nice and tidy a better coffee machine
- Jana (7/5): Expensive for Labour Day weekend + floor sandy. - Location and helpful stuff Floor was not clean. It was sandy.
- Davide (9/5): - LA Stanza con terrazzino vista fiume Nulla
- Jennifer (6/5): - If you want to spend under $300 in the summer, this place is the way to go. Our room felt a little dirty and when we were walking on the floor barefoot our feet turned black. The staff is very kind. The hot tub isn’t working and it wasn’t working when we stayed here 3 years ago, so don’t count on using it. Pool is small but perfect for my kids.
- Craig (10/5): - Felt really weird as we were the only customers on a Tuesday night. Good location, and staff was very friendly letting us check in early. Since no one else stayed here, were really overcharged for our room.
- Mike (10/5): - Nice,quite
- Danielle (10/5): - It was wonderful
- Richard (7/5): Comfortable clean somewhat dated - Location Connecting door wouldn’t lock. They gave us another room
- Susan (8/5): We will stay here again next time we visit Hood River. - This is a locally owned independent business and the staff was welcoming and helpful. The view is amazing and it is located close to downtown, the riverfront, and amenities.
- Siri (10/5): Clean, comfortable with a nice view of the Columbia Gorge and perfectly located to downtown Hood Riv - Price point and location. And at night it was peaceful and quiet. Better? It meet ALL expectations!
- Jess (10/5): - Delightful staff. Nice, clean room. Fun pool.
- Gianna (8/5): No frills, perfect for our stay. - Par was very helpful throughout our stay. The rooms are spacious and we had a great view from our patio. The microwave was nice.
- Heather (10/5): Room with a view! - Fabulous night with views over river and mountain- beautiful setting and very relaxing!
- Barrett (10/5): Great owners and great staff. Nice room and beautiful view - Beautiful area Hot tub out of service
- Griselda (10/5): -
- paola (8/5): - Easy walking to restaurants and bars.
- Lisa B (8/5): - We were quite content with our stay. The hot tub was closed for repairs.
- Lori (10/5): Exceptional - This is a quiet location. The landscaping was pleasant with lots of plants and flowers. The desk attendant was very friendly. The bed was a bit too hard for me.
- Heidi (8/5): Very good -
- Donna (5/5): Passable -
- Debi (10/5): - Although not the fanciest property, the staff were super nice and the facilities exceptionally clean. Beds comfy and slept well. A bit of a walk into downtown but not bad.
- Kelli (10/5): - The room was fine but the accommodation really needs to be updated, no closet!
- Kristin (8/5): - Kind and welcoming at check in. Room was nice and clean. The place was quiet at night. The bathroom shower and sink fixtures could use updating to make them easier to use.
- Sandra (7/5): Good -
- Mary (10/5): - Cute, updated room. Minutes from downtown and the waterfront. Loved our stay, thanks for the hospitality.
- Todd (9/5): Superb -
- Kevin (10/5): - Very pleasant day, clean, great view, will be staying there again.
- Phil (7/5): Good -
- Gerry (10/5): Exceptional -
- Mary (8/5): Clean, comfortable and great value. - The location is great and the staff were super nice and helpful. The bed was so comfortable, memory foam mattress. We slept better than ever during our stay.
- Olivier (7/5): Staff outstanding ! - Location and Staff Overpriced and yet not fully booked.
- Gainer (3/5): Poor -
- Stephanie (9/5): Superb - Great place if you are traveling with a dog
- Sarah (10/5): Exceptional - The staff was accommodating and friendly, and the room was clean and comfy. The pool is small but we had a really great time, it was clean and warm!
- Peterson (5/5): Affordable, unclean and not totally operable - The location is decent and the price is affordable The room itself was dirty - hair in the shower and the floors left our feet and socks completely blackened - really dirty. Shower clogged and we had to stand up to our ankles in water. The outlet in the bathroom didn’t work which is where the only mirror was which made getting ready for a wedding very challenging. Only a couple of the outlets actually worked - most weren’t working. We requested an iron but they said they were all checked out despite us having the only car in the parking lot and seemingly one of the only guests in the place. An iron is basic for hotels and should be accessible. No ironing board either once we had to go purchase one from Walmart. It’s also very easy to hear everything going on in the hallway and rooms around you. Staff wasn’t very customer service oriented and didn’t have much to say. We ended up spending most of our time at a friend’s Airbnb so we could use their ironing board and working outlets. Can’t recommend unless you’re in Hood River to camp and plan to be dirty anyway.
- Foti (4/5): Nope - The property was tidy The screaming match between the staff and a customer in front of our room that was loaded with obscenities. The room was so heavily sprayed with some sort of deodorizer that I had to open all of the windows and had an asthma issue the entire evening. The room was ok but very cheaply appointed considering how much they charge. I expected better for the cost. Will not stay again. Worker at desk needs training on customer service.
- Gary (10/5): Comfortable - Great location, quiet, breakfast place 2 minute walk away, and a very nice and friendly front desk person(who by the way is mailing my wife's earplugs after being left in the bed).
- Hamilton (7/5): Great place to crash if you’re out and about traveling around. Not a great place to enjoy any amenities. - The location was great. Close to stores and restaurants. Several brunch spots were walkable. Room was clean and the staff were friendly. The pillows were old and flat. My brother and I are 6ft plus and had trouble sleeping with the thin pillows. We also had planned for my other brother’s groomsmen to use the heated pool and hot tub before we got ready for his wedding in our room and the pool was cold and the hot tub looked like it hadn’t worked in months. The paper sign taped to the top of the hot tub lid looked like it had been there for ages so that was a major bummer on his wedding day.
- Megan (6/5): Riverview roughing it - Front desk check in representative was very friendly and kind. #17 was in kind of rough shape although everything mostly worked. There were rips in the duvets, some missing bulbs in the lights, the hot tub was empty with a sign that said "Waiting to be repaired" the pool deck had a very large crack and hole in it, and there was no bathroom available at the pool.
The Satellite TV and pool access saved this trip, as well as being walking distance to the Egg River Cafe.
- Dale (10/5): - Clean room, friendly staff and a bit of a view of the river.
- Matt (10/5): Exceptional -
- Westfall (7/5): Good -
- Mel (10/5): - Great customer service nice views
- Vernon (8/5): - Close to my daughter's house
.
- Slaton (10/5): Great view of Mount Adams! would stay again! - Beds are super comfortable and very clean and a great view of Mount Adams! Some great breakfast restaurants right around the corner walking distance! Reasonable and had originally went there because they had full ended up not using it cause we’re so tired from climbing Mount Adams, but would definitely stay there again and the pool looks great!
