• Nathan (6/5): Old smelly motel, overpriced for what it is. - It was close to Yacht Club and walking distance to some decent restaurants. Old motel with musty smell, sloping floors, no HVAC in the bedrooms (must leave doors open to get heat or AC from single through-the-wall unit in front living room), drab khaki green walls, grey popcorn ceilings, slow hot water, etc.

No vent fan, toilet is extremely low to the ground, and shower needs updating. They really need to change the curtain situation because way too much light comes in at night.

• Xin (8/5): Overall good experience. - Very good location. Large room. Quiet environment. Close to beach. A good place for sunrise viewing and a couple of days getaway. No microwave in the room. It would be great if there's breakfast option.

The young lady on reception, and the facilities manager (?) were incredibly accommodating in making sure we could use the fire pit during our stay, and even got us a corkscrew for our wine! Thanks again! Nothing!

• Christine (6/5): 2nd time here. Didn’t like room/ room location this year - I didn’t know there was breakfast! I liked the pool! The shower: water leaked beyond shower area and onto rest of bathroom floor so you were standing on water soaked bath mat when you got out. Refrigerator: a little cumbersome being inside of TV cabinet. Prefer it to be out in open. Out of your control but the people above were EXTREMELY noisy at all hours of the night which made it difficult to get a full night’s sleep.

• Cangelosi (9/5): We'll be back! - We enjoyed the relaxing quant gardens and pool side. There were plenty of lounges to relax and have a snack in the big pool area . After dinner we enjoyed a cocktail in the garden area around the fire pit and found plenty places to sit in the Gardens and the gazebo was really cool. Your Staff were friendly and very helpful. The room was ready on time and bright and airy and most inportant the sheets and towels were fluffy and white clean A storm blew in and changed the plans we had, we only had 1 beach day.

• Tammy (10/5): Great stay! - My husband and I have been staying at the Inn for the past 5 years for our anniversary. The location is great, we go for a walk every morning and evening along the beach and through the shops. There's a fantastic breakfast place just behind the Inn as well. The staff is always pleasant, the rooms are always clean. The only issue we had was the bed. It was very comfortable but after a few days our backs hurt.

The bed pillows were like concrete, the ceiling fan would only work in super high speed and it could not be changed. Ceiling light did not work. Remote control also did not work. Although the room was clean, everything was very dated and in serious need of updating.

• Discover41382558183 (10/5): after season travel - We went right after the season ended. The weather was great and the town wasn't busy at all! The heated pool was still open. We liked that the area is dog-friendly. Room was clean. We were a little disappointed that we were not allowed to use the bathtub AT ALL (showers only) even thought there was a deep jacuzzi tub in the bath room. Also they changed the door entry to a keypad but left the door handle with the card reader so that was a little confusing too. Overall we had a great time and so did our pup!

• maria (8/5): A friendly staff and pretty garden. - The location was perfect. The grounds and the pool were beautiful. It was so relaxing especially in the evening with the fire pits in the garden. The staff was friendly and accommodating. It was a nice short walk to the piers and beach and coffee and bagels were also just a few minutes walk away. There were also a lot of dogs but everyone seemed very mindful and respectful. The pillows were very hard and uncomfortable. There wasn’t a coffee machine in the room. You had to use the one in the reception area

• Keith (9/5): - Great location for a fishing trip. They don't allow fish in the rooms. I understand this can be an issue if people are not careful. They have free ice, but I feel they should make provisions to freeze customer fish since Montauk is the self proclaimed "Fishing Capital". If you are flying out you can't take a cooler full of ice on a commercial airliner.

• Sandra Fan (9/5): I wish I had more time there to enjoy the amenities! - I enjoyed having a living room and a kitchen. I wish I had more time to enjoy the stay, though. I was too busy attending a conference, so I didn't get to be in my room much. It was just a little tricky to have to carry my luggage up to the second floor via stairs. But not a big deal. It would've been nice if they had a little gift shop or convenience store on site since the apartments come with a kitchen. I couldn't find any food after 9pm so I was starving all the time. I think it would be a great idea if the hotel offered some food that can be purchased :)

• rebeccarU9474BY (8/5): Charming Stay Near Montauk Harbor - My daughter and I enjoyed our two-night visit at the Tipperary Inn in the Queen Suite. The beds were comfortable, the room was clean, and the outdoor decor had a whimsical charm. The location was excellent - just a short walk to Montauk Harbor. We truly enjoyed our visit and would be happy to stay again. The only disappoinment was that the restaurant was closed; though on the bright side, it made for a quieter stay!
• Michelle (1/5): Awful , have more pictures.only speed - the location to the the marina So many to list: 1) we will never refer anyone here 2) the main exterior door only had the lock that use a password to get into. There were 2 locks on the inside of the door but when you open the door there are no holes for locks. The locks don’t work. There’s no safety from outsiders 3) every morning there was an older gentleman that sat in a yard literally right side of our door. he is the manager or owner or something. he didn’t speak, looked at us strange and had bare feet that looked he had never cut them. his clothes were very disheveled. He was outside of our door every morning like super close and was very uncomfortable and a bit scary. 4) we were given 1 bottle of shampoo and 2 soaps that looked they could be used for one wash. we were there for 4 nights paying $424 a night and we asked for more soap and shampoo and they charged us $10 5) the bathroom was awkward and tiny. there were no towel racks for the sink so we had towels everywhere for us washing our faces 6) then there was some strange outside door right next to the bathroom so if you happened to be sitting on the toilet and the door gets opened, you can be seen. 7) the beds were comfy though !! 8) the bathroom was very old and grimy. the shower ledge was so low the water from the shower would fill the shower and run over to the floor. 9) I am in need of knee surgery and there were no handicap accommodations from the hotel steps down to the parking lot There was an asian lady at the front desk that checked in and was very nice and pleasant. Although there wasn’t any hospitality in showing us around or giving us a map As you can tell this will be a memorable experience but not in a good way. We were going to get another place but decided not to move as my mom is older and harder to move. I did look at booking.com the same time we were there and the cost was $100 cheaper each night. Ours was $423.62 and there’s was in the $300’s. We need some type of concession for this.
• TrailBlazer748741 (10/5): Our favorite place to stay in MTK - My family and I always have a great stay at Kenny’s Tipperary. The 2 bedroom apartment was clean and spacious. Really strong AC units and big kitchen. Walkable to the docks, Goldberg’s, Tony’s Deli, the beach, and great restaurants. The staff was very accommodating and friendly. We will be back soon!

Everything felt easy and stress-free from the moment we arrived—the staff is warm and genuinely helpful, the rooms are very clean, and the pool is a great place to lounge after a beach day. The location is spot-on too, with restaurants, markets, and the ocean all within easy reach. Best of all, our dogs were welcome, which made the trip even more enjoyable. It’s the kind of spot that makes Montauk feel like home, and we can’t wait to come back.
