Les chambres sont spatieuses, confortables et belles, le personnel très gentil et le restaurant très bon! La mer (galet) est transparente mais la plage "mal entretenue" comme bcp d'autres malheureusement... Proposer de l'eau en bouteille et pas que la carafe d'eau filtree dans les chambres même si je comprends la demarche. Nettoyer la plage devant l'hotel

Restaurant is decent, not amazing but decent. We also were there for the Dive Course through the Padi Dive shop. Sam our instructor was excellent Nothing. Tulamben is not central to much but well positioned for USAT Shipwreck dive. It’s a quiet town but was good as it helped us to relax by the pool after diving

• Shajini (7/5): Good diving resort - Really enjoyed my time here. Very convenient to arrange dives. Breakfasts were fantastic, so were the staff! Pools were great too. Towels and sheets had some stains on them. The beach isn’t really the kind you can lounge on but it was nice to have a view of it and go swimming and snorkeling there (it’s rocky though)!

• Wojciech (10/5): We were very satisfied with our stay. - Very spacious rooms (we stayed in triple room), 3 pools (out segment had own pool), main pool next to restaurant, good food, rooms and property very clean, dive shop in the hotel (can take you to all tulamben sites), spa, very helpfull stuff. You can arrange trips, rent a bike (via external company who delivers bikes to the hotel), and so on. Very quite and calm. Nothing. Property is a bit off so if you want to go to other restaurant you need to ride a bike to Amed (approx. 10-11km).

Le personnel, les services proposés, les massages, la nourriture, les piscines, la vue avec le volcan depuis la piscine et la mer juste derrière. La possibilité de faire de la plongée, du snorkeling. La proximité avec Amed, la possibilité de faire des randonnées au volcan, bref...tout Jusqu'à la literie qui était juste incroyable, nous n'avons pas aussi bien dormi de tout notre voyage à Bali (3 semaines). Rien, c'était parfait.

Es un buen lugar realizar con ellos las actividades de buceo y snorkel. No hay nada al rededor y es complicado desplazarse.

• Miriam (9/5): Lovely, clean hotel with amazing facilities, but be careful if you're a beginner diver. - In terms of the actual hotel - I cannot rate this place enough. 1. Super clean, spacious rooms with a TV, with access to Prime and netflix 2. Rooms are pretty much bug free which is rare for bali - amazing if you're scared of insects etc. The bathroom is closed, unlike most places in Bali which have outdoor bathrooms/showers and you open the door and see a giant bug on your toothbrush. This was not the case here which was great. 3. The staff at reception are SO helpful and lovely! The reception is 24h and they are always happy to help. 4. Really reasonably priced services like the dive school, spa and laundry. 5. The restaurant is AMAZING. The food is top quality and really flavoursome - great for a hotel restaurant. Lots of indonesian and western options, and again very reasonably priced. 6. The scenery is BEAUTIFUL, view of Mount agung, amazing pool with loungers. 7. The spa was amazing too. One of the most relaxing experiences and again the staff were great. Really, really would recommend anyone wanting to stay in a nice/luxurious place in Bali for a reasonable price. My only critique is of the dive center. I came to this hotel specifically for diving and was really excited, I have completed around 10 dives over the past 4 years but it's normally 2 or 3 in one day so it's not that many days diving in total. I have my level 1 open water but am still a nervous diver and my last dive was 18 months ago. I explained this to the center but they were pretty cold about it. I asked if I could practice my goggles getting water in when I got in the sea and was informed that 'it's not the divers job to do that' with me. Understandable but no need to be rude about it. Anyway my dive instructor was great in this aspect and did check my mask etc before I went in because I hate getting water in it. Further, I asked a question about something and was told 'you should know that'. Maybe I should but my last dive was 18 months ago and I have a full time job and other commitments..apologies that my dive skills are not constantly at the forefront of my mind. More small instances in the conversation like this, I have not really been treated that way before and did not appreciate it. Surely you have complete beginner divers so if you have a nervous diver, just treat them as you would a beginner? Be friendly and kind to them? Maybe this center is suitable for experienced, confident divers but I think you could find a better center if you're new or a bit nervous. The reason I have brought these things up is because you are marketing yourself as a dive resort. Please therefore make sure you have friendly, nice staff involved in the diving! I wouldn't come back to dive here because of my experience and this is why I have given the hotel 9 stars instead of 10.

• Tanya (8/5): The staff apologized for the situation but did not offer any compensation for our experience.i felt like they catered to - The location was wonderful and easy access to diving There was a large group booked for a workshop during our stay. They were loud and had no regard to other guests. This was very disruptive to having a relaxing and peaceful environment.
• Rollin (4/5): Décevant à éviter sauf pour de lass si plongée - Séjour très décevant au Bali Dive Resort. Le personnel était peu accueillant, souvent expéditif. Le seul moment où nous avons eu un vrai sourire, c’était pour nous proposer un taxi vers Amed, ce qui donnait l’impression d’être vus comme des clients de passage, sans réelle considération. Le dîner était correct, rien à redire. En revanche, le petit déjeuner était cher et très basique : formules limitées à leur minimum (œufs, bacon, un quart de tomate, oignons à peine cuits). Peu adapté au prix demandé. La chambre “premium” avec piscine partagée entre trois logements était en mauvais état : murs abîmés, draps douteux, salle de bain vétuste, climatisation partiellement défectueuse. Le ménage n’a pas été fait malgré notre demande explicite avant notre départ en plongée. Le lendemain, on nous a clairement fait comprendre qu’il fallait libérer la chambre dès l’arrivée du taxi. L’hôtel est isolé, loin d’Amed, sans chauffeur disponible en permanence. Il faut prévoir un scooter pour se déplacer. La vue sur la mer est agréable mais la plage est envahie de bateaux, donc peu propice à la baignade — uniquement adaptée à la plongée. En résumé : ambiance froide, prestations décevantes, localisation peu pratique. Nous ne reviendrons pas.
• Dorthe (10/5): Et meget dejligt sted, hvor vi gerne kommer tilbage. - virkelig smukt resort med udsigt til Agung og havet. Haven er hyggelig og velplejet. Personalet er virkelig venlige og altid klar til at hjælpe hvis man spørger om noget. Store rummelige værelser hvor man føler sig hjemme.

From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel so welcome – their warmth, attentiveness, and genuine care made our stay truly special. Every meal we had here was delicious – we enjoyed breakfast, lunch, and dinner at the hotel every day, and each dish was fresh, flavourful, and beautifully presented. Our room had the most spectacular ocean view – waking up to the sight and sound of the waves was absolute bliss. The resort is wonderfully quiet, making it the perfect place to relax and reset. Snorkelling right from the beach was beautiful, with vibrant coral and plenty of marine life. The highlight of our trip was visiting the USAT Liberty shipwreck, which was nothing short of amazing. Even as snorkellers, it was an unforgettable experience – next time, I’ll definitely be learning to dive here! This place is a little slice of paradise, and I can’t recommend it highly enough. If you’re looking for somewhere peaceful, scenic, and welcoming, this is it. We will absolutely be back!

• Piotr (9/5): zaciszny hotelik na Bali - Śniadania w formie zestawów, każdy wybierze coś dla siebie, bardzo miła obsługa, restauracja niemal na brzegu morza, nic dodać, nic ująć. Doskonałe świeże owoce do każdego zestawu. Jedynym 'słabym' punktem obiektu (choć może to być też jego zaletą) jest brak w okolicy (walking distance) restauracji i innych obiektów o charakterze atrakcji turystycznych. Nie wpływa to jednak ocenę jakości świadczonych usług.

On the other hand, the hotel and the staff will go out of their way to help you and Emily at the dive centre was incredible. Can't thank the team enough for an amazing stay.

• Roxanne (9/5): Excellent resort however could enlarge its lunch and dinner menu. - We stayed at this resort due to inhouse scuba diving with was excellent. We had a great dive guide who found lots of great underwater creatures for us to photograph. The room was as described and had ocean views. The breakfast was good, however the menu for lunch and dinner was a little less exciting. It was also a taxi ride away from the main Tulamben shopping district.

Our son did the Open water Padi course and enjoyed it so much, he did the Advanced as well. A big shout out to instructors Emilie & Damian. Comparé à d autres structures de la même gamme proposées à Bali peut être que le prix aurait pu être plus bas .

• Ashwin (8/5): - Rooms were lovely, and staff were super lovely. The dive team Miikka, Sam and Emily were amazingly accommodating and supportive. We went to do our dive course and they made it super chilled and fun experience. Food was limited and location meant you didn’t have a lot of options.

Natomiast poza nurkowaniem w dzień, wieczorami pozostaje jedynie spacer po plaży bo w miejscowości nie ma atrakcji turystycznych. Wymagane wypożyczenie skutera lub samochodu i wyjazd do Amid. Polecamy też koniecznie plażę Vergin Beach (Hidden Beach). Poza tym można kupić rybę od rybaka na plaży i kuchnia hotelu ją dla was przyrządzi (mniam, mniam)
• Jess (5/5): Great dive center, poor hospitality of management - The dive center of this resort is excellent. Very high quality teaching and coaching. If you plan to use the dive center, this is a great place to stay and you may get a 10/10 experience. Unfortunately they do treat ordinary hotel guests as "less valuable". Very poor guest service experience. You may be treated rudely when you ask the hotel management or dive center for help. They seem to follow a service standard of "let's penalize the guests if they don't buy all of our services" rather than trying to find a solution that satisfies the guests needs (and their own). In our specific case one half of our group used the in house dive center, the other half did not. Whenever the none dive center guests asked for regular guest service help (eg organizing transportation) they were treated rudely. There is no guest service or hospitality culture in this resort.

• Hanna (10/5): Familienfreundlich - Wir hatten eine wunderbare Zeit im Resort. Besonders hervorheben möchte ich die vielen lieben Mitarbeitenden, welche sich z.B. während des Essens rührend um unser Baby gekümmert haben. Unsere 9 Tage gingen schnell rum und wir hätten es auch noch deutlich länger ausgehalten. Daher Fazit: - Restaurant gut (César Salat sehr lecker) - Mitarbeiter und Mitarbeiterinnen sehr sehr freundlich. Top Service - Tauchschule super - Massage sehr gut - Pool traumhaft - Strand etwas verschmutzt
• Mark (8/5): Peaceful location great dive centre - Great little resort, we went diving with them as well and had a fantastic time. Pool area is lovely and beach front too. Breakfast was a good selection and really yummy. The restaurant food was also fantastic. It’s a quiet area which is nice for peace and quiet. Rooms are large, shower heads maybe need checking as they spray in random Directions and our friends only seemed to come out in 3 streams of water, but that didn’t bother us.
• Nicolas (10/5): Exceptional - Amazing location with an excellent dive school! We stayed at an ocean view bungalow nr 6 which was absolutely fab. The staff were exceptionally friendly. I would highly recommend staying here. Another plus; the restaurant staff served us breakfast way past breakfast hours, just ask nicely ;)
• Wiet (8/5): Goede accommodatie direct aan zee. - Mooie accommodatie. Direct aan zee gelegen. Grote kamer met goede bedden en ruime badkamer. Veel faciliteiten voor duikers en snorkelaars. Mooi zwembad met genoeg ligbedden. Personeel stug. Maaltijden eenvoudig en niet echt bijzonder. In de omgeving werkt de Grab app niet; geen auto’s beschikbaar.

• Gregory (10/5): Excellent value - Excellent resort, outstanding service, and friendly staff. The location was beautiful, with many easily accessible dive sites minutes from the resort. The food at the restaurant was consistently tasty with a nice mix of Balinese and Western food, but don't expect gourmet. The spa was also excellent and affordable, with a variety of services that were easily scheduled. We appreciated our dive master Yad, who was hard working, knowledgeable, and patient with our group. I highly recommend this resort for a memorable diving and spa experience. The beach is rocky, but that's the price to pay for excellent diving so close where the coral can attach and grow.

Peaceful, right on the sea front, big clean pool. Really happy with our stay here. Nothing. Not many shops close by so you do need a scooter or transport but that was fine for us.

• JAEYOUN (1/5): A resort where the service worsens with each visit. - I had stayed at this hotel for five consecutive years, largely due to the friendliness of the Indonesian staff and the relationships I built through my annual visits. However, the resort manager’s authoritarian and rigid attitude—more reminiscent of a bureaucrat than a hospitality professional—completely ruined the vacation atmosphere for guests. This ultimately led me to decide not to stay here anymore. It is disappointing to see the resort failing to make the most of its excellent facilities and the outstanding hospitality of its Indonesian staff, with the overall service deteriorating year after year. I strongly recommend the other resorts in the Kubu area, which are closer to the Liberty Wreck and do their best to ensure guests have a joyful diving experience.
• Mary (7/5): Great location to enjoy a quiet stay with a view and very close to the liberty wreck. - Restaurant was surprisingly VERY very good, which was great because there really aren't many other easy ways to get around to nearby places since grab is not popular in that region. Very close to liberty wreck and the dive shop has solid quality dive equipment (aqualung). Pool front property was beautiful. Over 35-40MBPS for those who work online. As in any place in Indonesia the connection is sometimes spotty but in general decent wifi. Staff was helpful to exchange cash and also book transfer to across Bali. If you want to dive and enjoy a pool and don't mind the location being hard to travel to/from it's a great place to relax, if the weather is sunny, especially for the price. Facilities were very clean despite the interior looking a bit older it was very clean. The beach in front of the book is rock with fishing boats which is not positive nor negative just something to know to not expect a sandy beach. AC was broken in my room, which was obvious from the minute you stepped in the room (hotter inside the room than outside in indonesia....) Staff told me to wait 30 minutes before changing. Same result after 30 minutes. Glad I insisted to change rooms because the staff insisted it "was just like that". The entire property was completely empty when I was there except for two other couples - one couple said their AC was weak and the other said it was quite strong, so it seems a bit of roulette to which room you get. Not an ideal location during off season because of the rain and remote location but still good if you're wanting to dive. No grab in the area if you're wanting to visit other places you need a car. Language barrier can be a struggle for some staff but I ended up getting everything i needed for my stay so it worked out. Overall would recommend if you want to go dive.

• Lucy (9/5): Beautiful hotel in a great location for macro diving - It is a lovely hotel situated right by the black sand beach. It has a very nice garden and pool and the restaurant is right next to the pool and beach. The room was spacious and comfortable. The area is very quiet so it's relaxed. Breakfast was very good with fruit and then a choice of sweet or savoury options and nice, strong Bali coffee. There is quite a full menu for lunch and dinner too with fresh salads and fish. The staff are all very friendly. My husband did a lot of diving and can highly recommend the dive center. The staff are all very professional and helpful. He had the same dive guide for most dives and he felt he could take as long as he liked photographing whatever he wanted. For Macro diving: nudibranches, shrimp etc it is excellent in that area. I walked along the beach most days, which is pleasant at low tide but a little tricky at high tide as there is not beach left! I also went walking/running up a small road behind the hotel and found a little trail which offers a great view of Mount Agung. It was easy to get a car to take us to Ahmed if we wanted a different restaurant or to do a half-day or day tour to Mount Batur or one of the nearby temples. We were there for ten days - longer than most I think! It would be nice if the restaurant had one special on the menu that changed daily, to offer something different. We would have liked a gym too but I appreciate not many people prioritise that when on holiday.

• Heath (9/5): Large cosy rooms with great pool and gardens. - The look and gardens are nice. The rooms are large and quite clean. Some bed sheets have stains, but otherwise appear to be clean. We would have like a hand-held shower, in addition to the rain shower.
