• P. (10/5): - Świetny kontakt z personelem. Okolica spokojna i bezpieczna. 10 minut piechotą do Watykanu, połączenia komunikacyjne z centrum miasta i lotniskiem Fiumicino doslownie 5 minut od noclegu. Czysto i pachnąco. Polecam z czystego serca. Tylko jedna mała rzecz. Łózko dla mnie za miękkie.

The room - comfortable bed, air-con, little patio, little fridge, big shower room. No kettle; I really wish there was one.

Location was good too, with a train and bus station about a 7 min walk away as well as a supermarket and some cafes. Lots of stairs so traveling with luggage is a little tough. The walls are not very soundproof and there are lots of neighbours around so it did get a little loud in the night

La posizione ottima, perché il posto è quasi un rifugio tranquillo, al riparo dal rumore della città, eppure vicinissimo alla stazione (5 minuti a piedi dalla fermata S. Pietro) che consente di raggiungere in poco tempo il centro. 20 minuti dal Vaticano (sempre a piedi) sono una piacevole passeggiata. Poi i gestori sono molto gentili e disponibili. Io ho preso la stanza singola che di una congrua misura e ha anche una comoda scrivania. Sono molto soddisfatta perché ho riposato bene, lavorato bene, e ho trovato anche il tempo per godermi un po' la città.

Poderiam ter algumas amenidades para banho. Poderiam disponibilizar lanches rápidos para o café da manhã e água.

• Karolina (9/5): Z czystym sumieniem mogę polecić. :) - Właściciel bardzo pomocny i miły mimo kontaktu online. Do Watykanu i Bazyliki można przysłowiowo iść w kapciach. Do centrum Rzymu też nie jest daleko. Tak na prawdę wszystko w zasięgu. :) Pokój był OK, bez zarzutów. Minusem była kiepska wentylacja, przy zamkniętych oknach było czuć w pokoju wilgoć i jej zapach. Drugi minus to brak czajnika i kubeczków na poranną kawę, żeby naładować baterie przed zwiedzaniem ale rekompensuje to bar, który znajduje się ok 2min od pokoju. Poza tym wszystko było OK.

The neighborhood is calm and safe, so I can rest well. Very clean and need and Massimiliano provides the complete kitchen tools. Only the stairs, sometimes it's hard when you need to bring the luggages.

Close to San Pierro Cathedrale. Good method to leave and collect the luggage in case of walking away. It would be fine to have mor crockery and wash it a bit better. Water cooker would be nice. May be some more shelf in the bathroom.

No volvería - La ubicación En la reserva decía que estaba todo en planta baja y había q subir una escalera bastante pronunciada para llegar al alojamiento, lo cual se complica bastante cargando valijas y más aún al regresar para poder descansar después de recorrer las distintas atracciones q tiene Roma con las subidas y bajadas de escaleras durante todo el día . En los 5 días que estuvimos ni un día hicieron el cuarto. Teniendo plantas en el patio y habiendo mosquitos no había aparato para los mosquitos, el cual fue proporcionado después de pedirlo xq no pudimos dormir la noche anterior.

• Gema Marcela (5/5): Acceptable for a few days! - The room space is enough for one person, it has a little kitchen and fridge, plus a desk which worked great for me ‘cause I had to work a few hours. The AC worked fine. The place is close to a metro/bus station which was convenient. Massimiliano was nice. The apartments are not at street level, you have to go through a very high ladder, which is complicated for people with large luggage. Also, my pillowcase smelled bad, luckily there was another pillow in the closet that I could use, but the sheets in general definitely didn't seem very clean. Although, the rest of the little apartment did.

The property was well maintained and designed for a short stay and the location was great. You can go just by walking to the Vatican city, to the Rome center and it’s also near to the airport. I absolutely recommend this place. 😍 No words. 😶

• Niall (8/5): A very good option - Lovely quiet location but very close to good restaurants and convenience stores. Local bar did fabulous breakfast. Very convenient for Vatican. Not very convenient to the Metro so we had to take quiet a few taxi's, which is fine if you know where you're going and you won't get get ripped off. Convenience to Metro.

• Carolyn (6/5): Adequate - The vicinity was close to the Vatican. The outside courtyard was pretty. Too beige. Rather dull. Bed uncomfortable.

• Natasha (8/5): Room was fine, local ok if you need to be near the Vatican however, lots of hills and steps! - The room was comfortable, double bed, small table and two chairs, closet, fridge, great room lighting and a/c and a nice bathroom. The bed was comfy for two people. The check in and out was via a lock box that was very simple and communication with the staff was easy via Whatsapp. The street is very tight and it is on a hill and so the cars cannot drop you at the front gate. Also, there are about 35 steps UP to the room and if you have a heavy bag or bad knees then it is not the spot for you. Also, there is one bar around the corner to get some snacks or water, otherwise you have to go up and down the hill to get to the shops, food and of course the Vatican, which is about an 8 minute walk. The hills walking up and down to the room would not be bad if it was not 99 degrees everyday or hotter in Rome so this review reflects the heat of the summer and its challenges!

The place is reasonably close to the Vatican and St Pietro train station. However, it is also far enough from the main streets, which for me is great as it brings some peace and privacy. The room has the basics for a comfortable stay. I would stay here again. It is on a hill, so it may be hard to get there if you are older and intend to use only public transport.
• Keller (7/5): It was great! :) - For me, the location of the room was the best aspect of my stay. It was only about a 15-20 minute to the Vatican, so that was very helpful. :) The temperature of the shower water was a little weird. Sometimes, it wouldn't get hot and would just stay at this lukewarm temperature. When it would get hot, it would only stay like that for a few seconds, and then go back to the lukewarm temperature I described earlier.

• Abane (7/5): Good - The proximity to the Vatican The heating policy is not available for decision-making online. I always check to see if heating is available in a property before booking. But in this case, this facility was listed, but on site, it's not available. For two nights, I couldn't get the heat on, and I was informed by the property manager that they only have specific times to do so, and unless it's more 21°C in the reception. But reception will always be warmer than the rooms because it's in the middle. I had to wear ao many things to be able to sleep without cold.

• Thomforde (10/5): A great quiet place to stay near the train station, bus stop, and The Vatican - We love the Monte de Gallo area, especially the convenience of the #64 bus and that it is an easy walk to the Vatican and beyond. The area is very quiet and peaceful. Our room was a perfect size for our stay. The bed was extremely comfortable and our host was very responsive. We look forward to returning in the future. Nothing! It was great to have a refrigerator in the room.

Free parking on the street nearby. The fridge wasn’t working properly. It would have been awesome to have a kettle maybe in the area between the two rooms. Also there are a lot of stairs at the location and in the area.

• Patrik (7/5): Affordable appartment to stay - The appartment is not to far from the station Roma San Pietro and you can get easy to the metro when you drive to viale Aurelia There are some shops around and also there is a good bar there Cafè I Tigli. The owner is very friendly and didn’t had any problem that I checked in earlier 👍🏻 Extremely small bed, I needed to get out the extra bed under it otherwise I could‘nt have slept especially for 5 days. The room was a bit dirty

• Mario (1/5): It was so bad, and will NEVER rebook this place again! - Nothing at all! The place is not as described at all! 1. First of all, I ordered a double bed. My order shows the name Single Large Room, but the bed type is Double Bed. I got a single bed. And the bed is not comfortable at all! 2. On booking.com, it says that the property is on the ground floor. It's not, there are 45 steps and no elevator. I had to carry my luggage up and will have to carry it back down, and I have back pain! 3. The safe in the room is broken. There is no place to put my money and passport. 4. The shower is so small. I'm 182cm and 100 kg. I can't fit to take a normal shower. 5. The room was not clean. When I first entered the room, I directly realized that the floor was dirty. If the floor was like that, god knows if other things are as dirty. 6. On booking.com, it says that the rooms are soundproof. They are not, the walls are normal and thin. I was able to hear the couple in the next room having sex! 7. I was not able to boil water for my coffee because the coffee maker was used, and put back in the dresser without being cleaned. I cleaned it, but the stove was not working! I texted the property the first day about my concerns and told them that I wanted to check out the next day & get a refund for the remaining days because the property did not meet the info shared on booking.com. They declined my request and told me that their info on booking.com was correct (which was not) and they could not refund me. They might update their info now, but until today their description does not state that there are 45 steps without an elevator! I contacted booking.com and shared my concerns with them, but it was useless. They didn't help at all! • Marjo (10/5): Very nice! - The apartment is located in a nice neighborhood, close to the Vatican. The room had everything we needed for our stay, like a small fridge for drinks and a hairdryer. Massimiliano sent us very good instructions on how to get to the apartment and was very friendly. We felt that the apartment was in walking distance from everywhere and on the last day when our feet were tired we took a bus near the apartment. The room looked like it was in the pictures. We liked it and would stay there again. :) The bed is quite soft for our liking (we usually sleep on a firm bed), but we still had a good sleep. The apartment is located on a hill and you have to climb some stairs, so after a long day of walking you have to have the last boost of energy to get there. 😄 Oh and the shower is a bit tricky, don't put the pressure all the way so the shower head stays in place!

The staff were extremely helpful, and directions were straightforward. I would definitely stay there again. It's somehow far from city centre since its next to The Vatican. I had to priorize sight seeing of Rome before proceeding to the facility later in the evening.

• Marie-sophie (10/5): A lovely room in the center of the city - A lovely and comfy room in a very quiet neighborhood. The room was very clean and calm. Its very very close to the Vatican and there are Many bus stop and even a train station near the appartement. The hosts indications to find the place were very precise and they were Always very helpful with fast answers. I would definitely stay here again if I Come back to Rome. Nothing Comes to mind.

• Eero (8/5): Excellent value and good for short stays next to the Vatican - Excellent location and an unbeatable price. A short walk away from the Vatican and nearby attractions like the Castel Sant'Angelo. Train station of Saint Pietro and many restaurants and cafes just down the hill. The room and bathroom allowed for a good enough stay, but I wouldn't recommend staying here for more than just a few nights. Overall I was very pleased with the host, the cleanliness and the value for money - after all the apartment is in the center of Rome and you don't a car or necessarily even public transport to enjoy Rome. Parking can be a challenge, but at least in November finding a parking space was manageable. Those with disabilities or difficulties with walking need to look elsewhere as the apartment locates on top of a hill and even from the street there is quite a bit lf stairs to climb.

The heater at the bathroom also. It's a bit cold inside, we used AC for warming, but that's took a lot of time. It would be nice to have a kettle, some cups and plates.

• Ana (9/5): Lovely stay near the Vatican city - We really enjoyed our stay, for the price is everything you will expect. It was clean, easy to get to and loved the neighbourhood. Beds and pillows were a bit uncomfortable. The first day the hot water didn't work properly, it's true they came fix it first thing in the morning the following day.
• Cristina (6/5): Pleasant - Good value for money, located right next to the San Pietro train station in Rome. Cute room with shared patio. Good amenities: small fridge, safe locker box. The mattress was really uncomfortable (soft and it bent in the middle).
