• Max (10/5): An enjoyable place to stay - A really lovely place with great view and most comfortable bed. A word of caution, although the parking in the surrounding area is free of charge, it may take a while to find a parking spot.

• Jerome (10/5): BW + La Corniche - En raison de soucis techniques j'ai été relogé à l'hôtel Best Western Plus La Corniche qui est du même groupe. Tout s'est très bien passé.
• Frédéric (10/5): Calme escale - Un bel hôtel bien agréable avec son roof-top à découvrir pour profiter d'une belle vue sur l'entrée de la rade de Toulon. Les chambres ne sont pas bien grandes mais fonctionnelles et le balcon est un plus. Un petit déjeuner copieux et un personnel aimable et attentif. Petit souci de stationnement dû à l'étroitesse de la rue et des rues environnantes.

The bedrooms are very well designed with lovely views and the breakfast is second to none. I absolutely recommend this hotel.

J'ai découvert que la chambre n'était pas très bien insonorisée, arrivée d'un client à 3h30 du matin. Ronflements d'un autre . Chambre un peu petite mais très jolie décoration .

Voisins bruyants qui ont hélas gâchés le séjour car empêché toutes les autres personnes de passer une bonne nuit ! Dommage qu il n y ait pas une permanence la nuit pour surveiller et empêcher ce genre d événements. La personne de l accueil s est excusée le lendemain, le personnel n était pas responsable mais cela a hélas gâché un peu le séjour...

The day before I arrived, I received an email stating that I had been moved to a different hotel (The Best Western, La Corniche), as Les Voiles closes on the weekends (I had a 2 weeks stay)... La Corniche touts 4 stars, but I barely give it 2. While ideally situated, it failed to deliver its 4 stars promises. The personnel was mostly nice (although pretty condescending at times), the breakfast service was a disaster (I was told one thing by one staff member, then the opposite by another one) and did not get breakfast for a couple of days.

It was windy weather when we stayed in the hotel which implied that room 36 had a 24/24 disturbing noise (due to the incorrect fixing of a sail over the rooftop bar to the wall of the hotel room). When we complained (as it was so disturbing that it kept us hours awake), the reaction of the hotel management was "Yes, we know ..." (no excuse and no commitment to remediate this - which implies the poor score on facilities and service)

The only thing to confide is that the bathroom doesn’t have a door at all, not a major problem for us but it was a surprise :) Overall a super nice hotel, would stay here again

Fortunately we found parking space near hotel or we would have had to sit in car until hotel opened their doors.
• Emma (6/5): Stylish but not super - Toulon is a beautiful town and the hotel is very stylish. Nice breakfast (14 euros - not cheap for what we got) and staff were super friendly and had excellent English. There is a GORGEOUS roof top bar with an amazing view, and the view from the window was stunning. Everywhere was spotlessly clean and clearly a great deal of time and expense had gone in to the furniture, decor and feel of the place. The room itself had all the essentials, but felt quite cramped. We wouldn't have wanted to stay for more than a night as there was nowhere to put our 'stuff'. There was also (as a design feature) no door to the bathroom. This is not okay. We arrived quite late and quite hungry. There are places a steep walk down to the seafront, but no thing really took our fancy and we wished we were a bit closer to other options. Parking was on the street nearby, and free, despite our late arrival in peak season. It's a gorgeous hotel, and had we been staying longer and seeing more of the town, and accessing the private beach they have access to, maybe I would have enjoyed it more. But we arrived after ten hours of driving. The bed was too hard, we were a long way from food (we were told 'three minutes - it wasn't) and the lack of door on the bathroom was really not great. Would I go again, yeah, maybe... but I'd look at other options first.
• Daniel (10/5): 5 min walk to the beach! - Spent one night at Les Voiles. Great option within walking distance to the beach and restaurants. Street parking was easy to find and overnight parking was allowed. Rooms were very clean and renovated. Highly recommend.

• Diana (8/5): Simple boutique hotel,close to the beach - Hotel Les Voiles is an excellent place to stay. Whilst the facilities are slightly limited the rooms are spotless,bright and airy. The rooms tend towards minimalist,I chose Superior with Sea View and was very happy with my choice. The Solarium is a delightful roof top terrace,ideal for catching the sunset whilst sipping a glass of the local rose. The staff are extremely polite and helpful,advising on local transport,restaurants and activities in the area. The purpose of my visit to Toulon was to watch the rugby match between Toulon and Bath,the match was cancelled after the tragic events in Paris and the hotel staff could not have been more proactive in ensuring that my visit was still enjoyable. The beach is a few minutes walk away and there are plenty of restaurants and cafes,the buses to the town centre run quite frequently a five minute journey or a twenty minute walk. I will not hesitate to return to the Hotel Les Voiles.
• Derek (10/5): Good, newly-renovated hotel with sea views - We were just there for the weekend but the staff were very welcoming and the facilities were modern. The breakfast is very good also.
• Neville (8/5): Excellent modern hotel for visiting Toulon. - This was a very good base from which to enjoy Toulon. The French staff spoke English well - if you prefer to speak English - and were most helpful. The rooms are modern and the beds comfortable. A great place to wander round to bars, bistros...and rugby.
• Dave (10/5): Great location. - We checked in early evening and were given so much help....in English! The restaurants, a short walk to the beach, were excellent. The Stade Mayol was a 20 minute walk as too was the harbour so we were never too far away while staying in a quiet, picturesque area.
