• Ninan Thomas (10/5): Spacious, clean, and great value – but TV channels are a letdown - I stayed for 3 nights and was genuinely impressed by the size of the rooms. The room was huge, with a large toilet, plus a partitioned living area with separate couches, a TV, and even a kind of rocking chair. There are actually two LED TVs in each room – one in the bedroom and one in the living area. However, neither has any international or English channels. This was a real downside, especially since most guests are foreigners coming for procedures (hair transplant, rhinoplasty etc.). The hotel management should upgrade to smart TVs so guests can watch content they like via apps like YouTube. This was the only negative I observed. Otherwise, the hotel is very clean, neat, and tidy, with daily housekeeping. Lifts and stairs are both available. The reception team are really helpful, and a special thank you to Serdar (the manager), who went out of his way to assist guests. The location is in a quiet residential area of Şişli, easily accessible by taxi, though on a steep hill (normal for Istanbul). Small shops and restaurants are within walking distance. Breakfast is Turkish style – fine on day one, repetitive by day two. Omelettes and spa use cost extra. Free WiFi is glitchy and not very fast. That said, for the money it’s excellent – I paid €150 for three nights including breakfast. There’s also a large indoor dining area and outdoor tables for fresh air. Would happily stay again for the space, cleanliness, and value – but please add smart TVs or at least English channels!

Serdar var meget venlig, og gjorde et godt indtryk på mine venner som var der for første gang. Hans store smil hver gang man kommer ind i lobbyen, var dagens højdepunkt. Selve hotellet er generelt meget rent, og der bliver gjort rent på værelserne hver dag, hvilket er dejligt at komme “hjem” til og morgenmaden var fantastisk, der er både til små og store, fri kaffe og the. Vejret var fantastisk, hverken for varmt eller koldt. På de koldere dage, tændte personalet terrassevarmeren på terrassen. En af de bedste hoteller i Istanbul, med dygtig personale, vægts betjening, god hygiejne og en hôtel direktør der er meget “nede” på jorden, at han kan sidde blandt gæster på terrassen og nyde en kop the, snakke, smile og danne dialoger. Det er helt ikke sidste besøg på dette fantastiske sted. Det eneste ulempe er, der er bakker at gå op af. Men det er en del af Istanbul.

Ich sage es dem personal gleich am ersten tag, aber nach 6 tagen tut sich auch nichts. Türen und fenster können nicht ganz geschlossen werden. Es passt überhaupt nicht mit den bildern im Internet zusammen. Alles veraltet. Frühstück jeden tag das gleiche und nicht viel auswahl.
