Faith (10/5): Lovely place - Loved everything, except... the only thing I couldn't wrap my head around was the self catering chalets that did not have kitchen utilities. You would have to pay an extra fee to get plates, cutlery etc...

Zainub (5/5): Very quiet and serene, lovely pools although weather wasn't great enough for us to take a swim. - Location was good, area was quite and safe Property has a central water heating system so there wasn't very hot water in our rooms to have a decent shower, however when brought to the hosts attention she did offer to assist saying we could use another chalet to shower.

mhlongo (6/5): overall it was peaceful stay - The breakfast was just okay and the location was quite Not including kitchenette was an unnecessary disadvantage you could include plates at least and the room at night was very cold no heater or electric blanket I also had a problem with spiderwebs around the charlet so intense cleaning is a must oh and the tv add a music channel please

The lodge itself is exceptional - very beautiful, very clean and very safe. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. There are often times during the day when there is nobody at the front gate.

The rooms were not properly cleaned, it had a smell that I can’t describe but it was definitely not a fresh clean on, The bed was itchy as well.

Barbara (8/5): Well maintained old property - We liked the gas heater - lovely and really warm! The linen was of exceptionally high quality and new and soft. The Persian rugs were a nice touch as was the artwork. The room was very dark indeed but I'm not sure what could be changed here as the flooring, many walls and furnishings are all very dark and the thatch roof and small windows makes it seem dingy. The shower was adequate but not really that hot and the water was not very abundant. We were surprised that Ricoffy was served in the tea/coffee station and would have preferred actual coffee.
