She was friendly and professional and went out of her way to make us feel comfortable. Cost very high graduation weekend. Spoons should be served the same time as the coffee. (Sunday/Monday)

• Patricia (7/5): It was a nice stay but I’m not sure I will stay there next time. When I compare it to the Champlain Hotel just down the - Convenient location. Comfortable room. Not enough staff. Room wasn’t cleaned on second day. I had to get my own supplies like coffee, cups, etc.

• Lucie (7/5): Short and sweet stay - Great size bed and room along with great location. Just a 10 minute walk from the waterfront. Bars and restaurants 2-5 minutes away from this location too. Access to pool and complimentary water. The water pressure in the shower was poor so would say that needed to be updated. Not to do with the property but in terms of transport, they don’t have Ubers nearby so download Lyft otherwise you’ll be paying for an overpriced taxi

• Lynn (10/5): This weekend was a pre-wedding de-stressor mother/daughter get away. It exceeded my expectations!!mother/ - Conveniently located near waterfront and Church St shops. Rooms were comfortable and clean. Loved the convenience of the restaurant. Our bartender was phenomenal. We went to eat and have cocktails on Friday evening 4/24/26. She made our night!! I would have liked housekeeping services on Saturday, but wasn’t a deal breaker. Loved the convenience of the valet service and they always had my car in under 5 minutes. Would have liked more blankets or heavier comforter.

• Alison (8/5): Excellent staff and location to the central area - Staff was wonderful and inviting. When we arrived, it was a bitterly cold day and they provided hot cocoa in the afternoon. When I needed quarters for the laundry, they were helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. Because the location is right next to the central business area, we were able to walk everywhere, which was great because there was a big winter storm which discouraged any driving. Parking was pricey, but we didn't need our car for 4 days and it was nice to have it secured out of the snowstorm.

• Bernadette (6/5): It was more like a campsite than a hotel room. - It was very close to where I needed to go The basic services that I expected were not adequate. After searching for a working ice machine late in the evening I had to go to the front desk where someone got some ice for me. In the morning the coffee maker in my room did not work. I realize this seems like a small inconvenience but getting dresses and having to go to the lobby for coffee made for a rough start to my day. And the water smelled so chlorinated it was impossible to drink and I did not want to bath in it either.

• T1349TIamandal (2/5): Doesn’t fix stuff - Since the tv doesn’t work, leaves me with time for a review. We come to this hotel often. The plumbing often has issues (sink, toilet, shower). Much of that we’ve experienced on the second floor. Tonight however, we were on the 3rd floor and the tv isn’t working. We called the front desk 3 times over the course of an hour. We continued to be told someone would be up to check it out. I went to the front desk as it was nearing 10pm and no one had come to look. I was told they’d have someone check. I went back to our room only to find out no one came. So… no tv. They said they don’t have replacements, and they are fully booked (so moving rooms is not an option). Curious thing… did they not send someone to check on the tv bc they know it’s not working and continue to put people in the room? Frustrated with management not taking care of thing; that we were told over and over someone would look at it, and didn’t; that the hotel isn’t making any real effort to make this right for someone who stay here often.

• Robert (9/5): Enjoyable Stay at Hilton Garden Inn Burlington - Great location, fast vale service, and rooms were quiet. Front Desk Clerk Aqua was VERY nice and helpful. The restaurant did not have a buffet every day.

• performlab (10/5): Pleasantly surprised. - This hotel is Very well situated with a spacious, modern industrial feel in the lobby with plenty of comfortable seating. Friendly, courteous service at the front desk (Nick was excellent). Room is also new, spacious and clean. Our room had two comfortable queen size beds. Coffee, microwave, and fridge in a little kitchenette cubby. Perfect. Bathrooms seemed like they were installed within the last year, lite granite and chrome are a nice touch. I don’t usually leave reviews, but this place deserves one. Good choice.
• Liane (9/5): On my short list of places to stay, great option for downtown Burlington. - Beautiful lobby with restaurant/bar. Lots of places to hang out. Room with very spacious, up to date decor. Good heating system. Large bathroom. I checked out the fitness room and it was clean and had enough options for the number of people using it. The location is very close to Church street so lots of things to walk to. This was a great place for spending time while partner out skiing. I really was happy with the property overall and would recommend but if I were to address anything this is what it would be. The coffee bar in the lobby was free but both times I went it was out of something I hoped for and I don't know when it shut down but it seemed a little early. Valet parking while convenient was a little pricey. My husband needed a quick breakfast one morning and was given a menu to order from. Only when leaving the dining room did we see the buffet already to go. That might have been a better choice given the time issue.

• LauritaVT (4/5): Duvet was soiled with urine - I stay at the Hilton garden every year for an event and it’s normally a good hotel but this most recent stay was concerning. The duvet I was sleeping on was soiled with urine. I didn’t notice it until around midnight when I was snuggled in the bed and kept smelling very strong odor of pee. I folded off the duvet cover to see that the duvet was soiled. I was exhausted and had an early event so I kicked it off and slept with just a sheet. The next morning I told the Front desk and there was zero reaction. They said, I’m sorry and offered to comp the valet for the night ($22). Really? I slept in someone else’s pee and paid $150 a night. A bit insulting to offer me $22. I then asked if they could send a new duvet and take care of it. When I returned back in the evening, a fresh duvet was on the bed without a cover and the old soiled duvet was left on the floor. I then called the Front desk to ask them to come and take it away, this time I at least got a normal reaction of- oh my, I’ll take care of that right away!. We left for dinner so I put the duvet outside the door. When I checked out, the valet was not comped and had to spend 15 minutes getting it sorted. Very disappointing experience and concerning. Clearly, duvets are not washed before each guest and the cover does not fully encase the duvet so it’s a bit gross.

We were able to walk everywhere we wanted easily, and in December we were very thankful those were short walks. The staff were all very friendly, our room was very clean and comfortable.

• Coleen (5/5): We’ve stayed here in the past and had much better experiences. - The location is wonderful, very convenient to Church St., the waterfront and highways 2 and 7. The valet staff were efficient and very friendly. Our room was not clean. It abutted an entrance to the street and it was noisy. People sat on the steps during the night talking and the walls were so thin we could hear them well. The front staff addressed the situation when we called them.
• Christopher (5/5): It was a little disappointing. - Room was very clean. Decor was a little dated. Alarm clock and microwave clock were an hour off weeks after the time shift. Food from the restaurant in the lobby was absolutely terrible. Pillows were the worst of any hotel I’ve ever stayed in. The lobby looked fantastic but the rooms weren’t great at all, I’ve stayed in Comfort Inns with nicer rooms which was disappointing for the price.

• kevinkorell (8/5): Very nice stay in downtown Burlington, except for TV channels - As a Hilton Honors Diamond member I enjoy staying at different properties within the Hilton portfolio. On this visit to Burlington I chose this location, as it is the closest Hilton family property to the train station. I arrived in town on Amtrak and left the same way the next morning. As I always do, I checked in via the app and chose my room. Check-in at 10 PM therefore went quick, and I was soon in my chosen room for the night. There were no issues with climate control, nor WiFi. As for TV, I was a bit upset that some channels were not available in what I thought was a standard selection at all Hilton properties. While I understand that Vermont is quite liberal, that is no reason to withhold a channels that caters to the conservative point of view, from guests from other parts of the country. This alone prevented me from giving 5 stars. I did not partake of breakfast or any other services, and soon I was on my way the 3 blocks back to the train station for my departure. The hotel IS very convenient for travel purposes.

• Claire R (8/5): Great location, very expensive. - This hotel has a great location and very friendly service. This stay was over $500 a night, which I appreciate is standard pricing for fall in Burlington and there are few hotels in the city center. However, it would have been nice to have had at least the room cleaned during the stay- at least the trash can emptied (cleaning was only every few days to make the hotel more affordable. I would not classify this price as "affordable.") Breakfast was ok- paid for separately- and it seemed like the server could have benefited from another co-worker or two (doing the best she could but a lot of people for one server).
• NYTravelingAddict (8/5): Perfect for marathon weekend - We stayed here for the Burlington marathon weekend back in May. It was the perfect location. We stood a block from the hotel and saw my husband run past 4 times before having the ease of coming back to use our bathroom and seeing him again at the finish (which was a further walk). He said it was easy to get to the start from the hotel. Our room rate included breakfast, which we thought was delicious. I'm not sure why other reviews were negative about it but the a la carte items were always great. The kids loved the buffet. We stayed in a king suite, which had enough room for 2 kids air mattresses. There was a living room, 2 bathrooms and a small area with a mini fridge and counter for our groceries. Staff was always friendly. We did the self park option in the garage.

• lisawB2981LJ (8/5): Good location downtown Burlington - While it seems every road in downtown Burlington is under construction we had no trouble getting to the hotel and were not bothered with construction noise during our visit. Location was convenient to Canal street (although we drove and parked closer) and the University of Vermont. Price was really high, seems to be the norm in college towns or maybe it was because of the season. Low water pressure in the shower, scratchy towels. Beds were very firm but covers were comfortable. Room doors are heavy and have no governor to slow them from slamming so be ready. Only noise we had was the loud thumping from the room overhead. Getting to the elevator for the rooms from the front desk is like being in Vegas, when you think you’re there keep going- it is a strange long distance and several hallways to get there. Looked at the breakfast, it was overpriced and underwhelming (we ate elsewhere in town). The only option is to valet park but I will say that our experience was all positive. We took out the car a couple times and it was always ready for us by the time we got downstairs, staff were friendly and polite. Worth the cost in our opinion. Front desk staff when we checked in very helpful and welcoming. Would stay here again if we could find a good price.
