Guest Reviews
- upperw2026 (10/5): Beautiful and great location - Beautiful property with comfortable beds. Loved the breakfast and evening reception. Joyce brought my breakfast and was so kind and answered all my questions. She gave me great choices on things to visit in Charleston. I will definitely visit again!
- Anthony (10/5): -
- juliecM3275MU (10/5): An absolute hidden southern gem - The Jasmine House really embodies the stateliness, elegance and southern charm of the old south.
The location was perfect, being central and within walking distance to almost every activity and restaurant we chose.
The staff were friendly, accommodating and helpful. We wanted for nothing during our stay.
The Chrysanthemum Suite was spacious, well appointed and absolutely beautiful. The antique furnishings are comfortable and usable, and not stuffy. The bed was fine, the pillows fluffy, and we slept well each night.
The complementary wine and cheese each evening was a treat, and we would join with others sitting out on the front porch, getting to know other travelers and getting great tips for things to do around Charleston. There was also a complementary dessert and champagne hour which we were never able to partake in because we were out and about, but we did sneak a few chocolates to take up to our room when we got back and they were absolutely scrumptious.
Each morning we would sit out on the balcony that adjoins the room, to enjoy the beautiful breakfast that was brought to us, and to take in the beautiful Charleston weather and coastal air.
It was a heavenly experience all around, and staying at the Jasmine house allowed us to completely immerse ourselves in all that is Charleston and true Southern elegance.
- Thorsten (10/5): Cozy and real Charleston charming house -
- Jennifer (10/5): - Loved the historic Inn
- GrandTour297274 (10/5): Charming B&B - Beautiful B&B with historical charm, great location within walking distance to amazing restaurants and attractions. Friendly staff with great amenities of breakfast, happy hour and late night treats! Great rate for self parking, would highly recommend.
- Roving57055291663 (10/5): Great staff, great location, breakfast yummy - Love Jasmine! Stayed twice in last 8 days. Lovely staff especially Joyce serving breakfast to our room. Enjoyed staying in the Carriage house and courtyard. And your happy hour Only suggestion is bottled water in rooms would be nice
- Cummings (10/5): Absolutely magical! - Stunning and historical. Exceptional location! The breakfast literally took my breath away.
- saradeer (8/5): Lovely B&B in Historic Charleston - Associated with the Indigo Hotel, this is a sister property just a ½ block from the Indigo Hotel where you park and check in. There is a service elevator that starts at ground level and goes to all three stories (located back of house). You have a options to choose for 5 star room service delivery for breakfast. From 5 to 6:30 in the front hall you will find wine/beer/extensive cheese-fruit platter. After dinner you will find champagne and a sweet to take back to your room. Weather permitting you will enjoy the lovely courtyard. Location perfect for walking on foot throughout the historic district. We were in room 201W. It is very large, dressing room, bathroom (shower) and large bed with sitting area. The door off the dressing goes to the elevator. There is a door to main 2nd floor landing/staircase. You have a door from your room that goes directly onto the front of the house second balcony with ample seating (weather permitting enjoy your breakfast/wine and cheese and sweets out there). We had a housekeeping issue that was resolved very professionally. You have direct contact available with the Indigo Hotel to answer any questions or assist you at any time, unlike other B&Bs that do not have Innkeepers on site.
- Flyer724867 (10/5): Love this place - Loved staying here! The rooms are so clean, spacious, and quaint. The breakfast is delicious and overall a very charming place to stay while in Charleston.
- JoyceB276 (10/5): Beautiful and true luxury - I recently stayed at Jasmine House in Charleston, South Carolina, and had a wonderful experience overall. The location was perfect—close to many of the historic sights, restaurants, and shops, which made it easy to explore the city without needing to drive everywhere.
The staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive from the moment I checked in. They went out of their way to make sure I felt comfortable and had everything I needed throughout my stay. Customer service really stood out as one of the highlights.
My room was clean, spacious, and well-appointed, with comfortable bedding and thoughtful touches that made it feel relaxing after a long day of sightseeing. I especially appreciated the quiet atmosphere, which made it easy to unwind. The wine and cheese in the evening was delicious!
The hotel amenities were also a plus—everything was well-maintained and convenient. Whether you’re visiting for a weekend getaway or a longer stay, this place offers a great balance of comfort and charm.
Overall, I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Charleston. I’d happily stay here again on my next trip!
- virginiap409 (10/5): Beautiful! The room was comfortable and beautifully appointed. The bed was comfortable and the shower was fantastic. The - This is a fantastic place to stay!
- David (6/5): Overall, a decent play to stay for 3 nites, but there are a lot of options in town, so I wouldn’t necessarily recommend - Location, nice room, pretty courtyard and front porch, breakfast was included. Comfortable bed, bed linens, and fresh towels. Room was clean, but needs detail work. Felt safe on the property. Overall, pretty clean, but the entire place, inside and out, could use a deep clean. Bathroom was clean, but floor edges and corners were grungy, for example. The furniture, while dusted and lovely, could benefit from polishing.
Staff was friendly and accommodating, especially the housekeeper.
Breakfast was pretty good, but a varied menu would have been appreciated. The avocado toast should be toasted. The kitchen was noisy in the morning if one is staying in the Carriage Houses. Difficult to sleep past 7:30 am. Evening wine hour was nice, but another choice of white wine other than the Pinot Grigio that was available every day would be nice. Nice choice of meats, fruit, cheeses, and crackers, however.
Taking 10 minutes to blow the leaves and wipe off the tables and chairs daily in the courtyard would have been appreciated.
No visible recycling program on the premises.
No need to keep the exterior lites on 24/7. The bulbs may be LEDs, but it’s still a waste of energy.
- Tracy (10/5): Would definitely stay here again - Location is right in the middle of everything and staff are exceptional. Unable to think of anything
- David (8/5): - Location, staff, room cleanlines Heating system has very loud, breakfast was ok
- Griffith (8/5): Great location, friendly staff and beautiful room. - Location was very good near central market and Kings Street. Restaurants and shopping near by. Like the breakfast brought to our room The pollen was very bad and could not use the court yard.
- Theresa (9/5): Great stay in wonderful location - Loved the location and staff I wish there had been a lounge area in the house
- 704susyb (10/5): Fantastic boutique hotel! - We came for our anniversary and my husband’s birthday, we spent 3 nights and loved it. The hospitality is wonderful. The room was pretty, comfortable, spacious and had everything we needed. Housekeeping does a great job of resetting the room every day. Breakfast with coffee and all the fixings was delicious and so nice to preorder what you would like to eat. We enjoyed the happy hour and beautiful snacks. Highly recommend the Jasmine House.
- Christi (9/5): It was a charming hotel that gave us the feel of true Charleston character. - The breakfast and location were excellent. They brought the breakfast to our room every morning. It felt like a bed-and-breakfast, but you still had your privacy when you ate breakfast which I really liked. I liked everything, but If I could say one thing, the house had its charm and character, but I would recommend doing a little updating on the caulking in the bathrooms and things like that to keep it lasting for many more years but overall it was still in really good shape.
- Erin (8/5): - The bedroom was beautiful and the privacy was nice. Staff were friendly and we appreciated the complimentary snacks and breakfast. There was some mold in the shower and we recommend cleaning the shower head of calcium buildup.
- detroityeager (10/5): Beyond our expectations! - We booked the 3rd floor Proprietors suite and I have to tell you this was bigger than my condo I live in!!!!!!!!!!!! HUGE!!!!!!!!! I never wanted to leave! Tastefully decorated, very clean, huge full service kitchen, huge living room, it was amazing, you even have your own balcony and service elevator if you need it. Loved their breakfast they brought you, just an amazing place. Staff very nice and friendly. I have to say in all my travels around the world this suite was just absolutely the best! Walking distance to everything. Outstanding stay!
- Kurt (10/5): -
- Tadd (9/5): - Great location old school Charleston Field. Staff was great the breakfast great everything well done I understand there was work done in our room and I understand it has to be done, but I’m just saying it should be gone over a little bit. There was dirt and dust from drywall work all around there was blue tape left on the wall.
the TV. I had to hook up as it wasn’t hooked up properly looked like there was a ceiling repair work done in that room. Other than that everything was great.
- christypV5803MT (10/5): Perfection - The Jasmine House was AMAZING. We were fortunate enough to have the third floor flat. Very spacious for the two of us! Can’t say enough about their attention to detail. Everything you need is available. The location is also perfect. We walked everywhere. Daily breakfasts were an added bonus too! Highly recommend.
- Tzungwen (8/5): -
- William (10/5): Beautiful place to stay, in the middle of the historic district. - Beautiful room. Ceiling detail, etc very impressive! Staff was very friendly and attentive. Bed was very soft. Not good for my back. Old looking phone didn't work, used the phone in the hall.
Keurig was very troublesome, didn't work most of the time. Dislike parking fee. Didn't see it mentioned in
details on site, probably missed it.
- Lisa (10/5): A perfect stay! - The Jasmine House is a beautiful property in a fantastic location.
- Lindsay (10/5): We loved staying here and would stay again next time we're in town! - We loved the location - right in the middle of everything. We also really enjoyed the historic room and beautiful facility. The staff were great and friendly. And it was very nice to a have some breakfast, snack, and wine options each day!
- Camper668502 (10/5): It is our annual family vacation - We go every year for Thanksgiving. It’s a 20 year family tradition now being enjoyed by our young grandchildren who come with their parents. We especially appreciated the new room service breakfast menu!
- Shannon (9/5): Really nice homey feel with beautiful bathroom. Staff was very friendly and helpful. - Beautiful old home, felt as though we were staying at a friends house. Our room was upgraded to the main house, which was a nice surprise. Lovely porch seating with access from the room - we ate our breakfast out there. We asked for breakfast to be delivered at 8:30 but it was close to 9:10 when it was delivered. It wasn't much of a problem for us as we didn't have any specific plans other than walking around the city. If we had booked a tour or something it definitely would've been problematic.
Sheet on the bed could use an upgrade.
A sign on the house explaining where to check-in (it's in a separate building across the street and large parking lot). Luckily there were some guests on the porch and told us where to go.
- Edward (9/5): - Breakfast on one morning lacked potential.
- Mary Ellen (10/5): Beautiful hotel with a great location and nice amenities. - Loved the aesthetics, the location and the happy hour and evening desserts. Nothing
- Collins (10/5): -
- Anne (10/5): Lovely visit! - Beautifully appointed, great location, lovely staff. Nice touch was bottled water, soft drinks, local snacks in room. Happy hour and dessert were appreciated. Nothing
- Richard (10/5): Old World Charm in a great location. - Very good location, excellent breakfast and lots of hidden extras eg complimentary drinks and nibbles every afternoon. Also had a lovely private courtyard to enjoy lunch or a tea/coffee. Air conditioning a bit noisy at night.
- Irene (10/5): -
- Lizbeth (9/5): -
- Judy (6/5): - We had a beautiful room with an extra small room where you can have your breakfast. For breakfast, you have a menu where you select what you would like and they deliver it to your room at whatever time you select. The only thing we didn't like was having to unload the bags at the B&B and then go to a different B&B nearby to check in. Then the parking was across the street. As we have a low car, we scraped the bottom of the car pulling into the driveway to unload our bags. Very close to King Street and all the shopping.
- D9899MNlynnn (10/5): Southern hospitality - This is the most hospitable place we’ve ever stayed. They have everything you need/want . Even umbrellas for a rainy day. Their wine and cheese hour is plentiful!
The room we stayed in was absolutely gorgeous . It gives you a taste of the Annabel South.
I highly recommend it.
- Madison (10/5): - We had the best time at the Jasmine House. The location was perfect, the breakfast, happy hour, and late-night champagne were lovely, and the staff was the epitome of southern hospitality.
- Ronald (10/5): - Friendly staff, clean, good service, good food, good snacks, etc.
- Joe (10/5): - Charming historic property in a great location! Staff was fantastic & the breakfast was amazing! Will definitely consider for future visits to Charleston.
- Lisa (10/5): Absolutely lovely hotel and staff. - From start to finish everything about the stay was exceptional. Nothing at all.
- joan (10/5): Classic southern charm - This was a charming facility in a perfect location to walk to everything and the staff are the definition of southern hospitality at its finest. I can wait to go back!!!
- Kim (8/5): Clean , comfortable, great location and very friendly staff - The location and wonderful staff The breakfast , was only 1 choice , yoghurt and fruit or ?
- Kirrily (10/5): Lovely staff and a beautiful stay - Southern charm
- gilsdeaf (10/5): Stay no where else! - Second time at Jasmine House. This time for a family wedding downtown. Over the top welcoming staff (especially Mary Parker who secured a bundle of Jasmine/Indigo umbrellas when it started raining just before our group of 9's walk to the church!) Between the timely and tasty in room full breakfasts, the delicious pm wine/beer/cheese/snacks tray and evening treats................the Jasmine is top notch. Oh, and forgot to mention the absolutely gorgeous rooms throughout. If you stay elsewhere, you're making a mistake. If Jasmine if full, then try their sister facility across the street "Indigo Inn" and you'll love their courtyard and amenities and staff as well!
- Sarah (10/5): - Absolutely amazing this will be my go to places to stay every time. I’m in Charleston!!!! The staff were so helpful and friendly!
- Debbie (8/5): Beautiful place - Breakfast was good. Our second day, we had to call breakfast in because housekeeper forgot to leave breakfast menu. When we received our breakfast, only received half of what I got the day before. We had to pay for parking and it was across the street which was a little challenging for my husband who uses a cane. Too corporate.
- Jorgelina (9/5): Lovely stay - Its a very nicely decorated historic house, spacious rooms, with a big porch and back garden. The staff is very attentive. It is also very well located. Unfortunately the front of house and porche now overlooks a parking lot. Trees do not cover the parking lot yet. But this is compensated with the nice house and staff, and very good location.
- Michele (10/5): - The property was beautiful, well maintained, the room was very comfortable and clean. The staff was exceptional.
- Rebecca (10/5): - The Happy Hour wine and charcuterie and the evening champagne are fun touches in this gorgeous historical home. The high ceilings and intricate moulding are just stunning! Easy walk to the City Market and the French Quarter. Kind and helpful staff.
- jason (10/5): Lovely house great old world charm lovely staff - Location and setting the house is lovely Nothing
- David LeSunda (10/5): - This place was relaxing and amazing. We didn't have or need a rental car for the week we were there. Everything was in walking distance
- Imelda (10/5): - Staff were friendly. Breakfast with good choices.
- Robin (10/5): -
- Marcia (10/5): - Loved the little special touches. Breakfast delivered to your door, wine/beer and charcuterie early evening and champagne and dessert later on. Staff was all exceptional. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. We would absolutely stay again, loved it.
- Gabrielle (9/5): Wonderful stay - Loved the location. Easy to walk to and from, close to all the great things downtown including restaurants and bars. Loved the courtyard and honestly loved the location on the room. The staff had their moments. The bed was uncomfortable for me but my husband liked it so probably just a me issue.
- Marcia (10/5): - The property was beautiful, historic and easily accessible. It sits at the north edge of the French Quarter, so we were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go. The staff were friendly and responsive. The breakfast choices were pleasantly varied and absolutely fresh and delicious! We ate on the shared veranda every morning. The offerings at 5pm and 8pm each evening were delightful. The bed was comfy, although very high (a step was available). Our upstairs room was accessible by an elevator, so that was very convenient moving in and out. The elderly ladies in the room across the hall were not as fortunate.😬 Cold water and ice were available. Overall, we absolutely loved our time at the Jasmine House and would go back again!💕
- billlW66XC (10/5): 9.5 - Great choice for us.Parlour suite is spacious, well decorated and clean.Large bathroom with a nice tile shower.Plenty of elbow room through out.Hot or cold breakfast options were ok.Wine and beer with appetizers and desserts everynight.Friendly staff, comfortable room and a great looking place.Would recommend.
- Joshua M (10/5): - Incredible hospitality, convenient location with walking distance to nearly anything you would want to see or need. The house was very cozy and quiet. We typically like to try new places anytime we visit but we'll be making an exception for this house.
- Justin (10/5): Excellent, peaceful, staff was very friendly - Very nice breakfast. Brought to our room each day. Just perfect.
- Ronald (4/5): - Housekeeping was terrible. The property is in need of renovation. They comped me for the parking but I would NEVER go back.
- Stacy (10/5): - Great staff/service. Cute garden for happy hour.
- Jennifer (10/5): - It is owned and operates by the Indigo Inn so you have to park & check in and out there, which is across the street and a parking lot. I probably would have just stayed there knowing that now. The breakfast there was better too.
A bellhop brought our luggage to the room, which was very nice! We stayed in the carriage house, the room was roomy and nice. You have to keep in mind it’s an old house, so it’s not perfect. The bed was comfortable, but you could feel every little movement.
It could have been a little cleaner, especially in the shower. There was dirt between the bed & wall and I moved the tv stands out to get one and it hadn’t been swept behind them.
Free local snacks in room was a very nice jester!
- Gracie (10/5): - Amazing welcoming staff! Easy very easy to explore the city by walking from this location!
- Sonya (10/5): - We had a room at main house and was wonderful. Staff was anazing.
- Gabriele (10/5): - From the check in process with Kim to the check out process it was amazing. The rooms were cleaned daily and every detail was in place. If you want a relaxed laid back beautiful house experience but close to everything this is it. We will definitely be back!
- Andrea (9/5): Fun weekend with my husband - Location is perfect. Cute patio. Room was big.
- Detlev (6/5): Could be a gem! Great location. - Perfect location on quiet street. Close to everything within easy walking distance. While I was impressed with the staff and the breakfast & happy hour offerings, my courtyard room was in dire need of refresh. Dark duty walls, dust and mold in the shower. Also the beautiful courtyard was not swept of leaves and just seemed unkept on a daily basis. That said, the house is beautiful & historic, just needs attention.
- John (10/5): Exceptional -
- Marshall (8/5): Great house and time! - Beautiful property and convenient to the historic district. Loud, fighting neighbors!
- GarryUK (10/5): One of our favourite hotels! - We love it here. This is our second visit. We stayed in the carriage house. It’s a historic building full of charm.
Our room was spacious with lots of storage space. The room was spotless. We had a very large walkin shower, towels were nice and soft.
There was strong free WIFI reception and plenty of charging points. The room has a tea/coffee maker with lots of choices, plus a fridge with complimentary water and soft drinks. Breakfast is an extensive continental with pastries, muffins, bagels, hard boiled eggs, yogurts, fruits, and savoury rolls, pastries etc.
In the late wine, beer and a charcuterie board is put out and later champagne with macaroons.
There is an enclosed private courtyard with trees, fountain, and wildlife to eat in or just relax in. Rooms come with a semi private veranda.
A big thank you to Mary who prepared breakfast and was a delight! Plus a big thank you to Darlene who serviced our room!
We will definitely return!
- Garry (10/5): Perfect. One of our favourite hotels! - This was our second visit. We love it here. Quiet, secluded and comfortable. Big thank you to Mary and Darlene! Rooms are spotless. Lovely big walk in shower. Comfortable beds. Plenty of charging points and free strong WIFI. Beautiful private courtyard to relax and dine in full of magnolias and wildlife. Lovely extensive continental breakfast. In all perfect. Nothing.
- Lucy (10/5): Great location for a Charleston experience, comfortable setting with snacks a bonus - Great location. We walked everywhere & there are lots of restaurants only a few steps away. Loved the breakfast treats, 5pm wine & appetizers & later proseco. We sat in the relaxing private courtyard & on the porch. The surprise local snack selections in the room was a delightful surprise. Leonard was very helpful as well.
- Camilla (10/5): A gem! - An absolutely perfect stay in every way. Gorgeous property, divine breakfast, beyond amazing service. Location couldn't be better.
- Kerry (10/5): - Had a wonderful stay here! Beautiful antique property with lots of little extra touches. Wine and Cheese in the afternoon, macarons and champagne at night were all delicious. Parking and check-in and out are across the street at the Indigo Inn. Our only small issue is there isn't any place to sit and have the breakfast buffet. It is served in front hallway on a buffet. Food was all yummy but we had to take it back to our room or sit out on front deck. This was in no way a slight but just something to be aware of. We are so happy with our decision to stay here and will definitely be back!
- Fred (9/5): Superb - I liked the balcony we had breakfast on it every I.
When we got back early evening there was biscuits, cheese and wine complementary, again on our own balcony. It was just super, The to remote didn’t work and they didn’t repair it.
- Cindy (10/5): A must stay in Charleston that sets the gold standard for bed and breakfast. - The staff was super friendly and the breakfast is simply delicious. The house itself is gorgeous! Nothing!
- amie20162016 (10/5): An Unforgettable Charleston Experience - A truly awesome manor to enjoy while exploring Charleston. Close to all but somehow felt away from the hustle and bustle. Our stay felt like we were staying at a friend's home, albeit a friend we were just meeting. The General Manager, Amanda, was exceptional as was Kim. Bella was also sweet and indulged me by showing me a very nice room and explaining that the owner had decorated the rooms herself - a most impressive mix of style, comfort and history. We cannot wait to return!
- Jody (10/5): - Our room was Amazing, had a great time
- Cristina (8/5): Comfortable and excellent location - The room was well decorated and kept. Staff was very nice There is not a breakfast room
- Katherine (8/5): Very good - Lovely character filled hotel in short walking distance to Fremch Quarter. Nice touches like free snacks and drinks. Easy parking across the road Whilst a lovely hotel it was pretty expensive for what it was. Our room in the carriage house was very dark and could hear the neighbours upstairs
- Cheryl (10/5): - The staff are wonderful, kind and inviting. The property is beautiful. I will stay here every visit to Charleston in the future, such a gem to find.
- Julie (10/5): 100% Recommend - Quaint, charming excellent place to stay. We were in the carriage house and it was perfect. We had an upstairs room and it was way more spacious than expected. The courtroom outside was so relaxing and well maintained. Breakfasts and happy hour were fantastic. Employees were super friendly and helpful. Absolutely would stay here again. Location was perfect .. walkable to everywhere. Parking across the street easy in and out.
- Lewis (10/5): Exceptional -
- LBIgirl_18 (8/5): Pros and Cons - We stayed on the second floor of the carriage house. Staff was friendly. The room was pretty, very large, and opened to a piazza that overlooked the garden. Breakfast consisted of bagels, English muffins, pastries, granola, yogurt, and packaged crumb cakes. There were also apples, bananas, oranges and assorted fruit juices. The wine and cheese in the afternoon was very nice, and it was also walkable to museums and restaurants. There are two issues that may keep me from returning: 1 - it is a couple of buildings in from Meeting Street which can be quite noisy 2 - it needs a deep clean. While surfaces were free of dust, and the bed was comfy with fresh linens, someone really needs to vacuum behind the bed. There was black mold growing on the row of decorative tile in the shower. It looked as if though someone mops the bathroom floor, no one has taken the time to use a sponge cleaning corners or wiping down the baseboard.
- Mary (10/5): Exceptional -
- Keneth (9/5): Great location, good value, would stay again. - Excellent location convenient walk to everything and friendly, helpful, staff. Minor thing only…great breakfast but food location felt forced, tight location if more than 2 people are present.
- Betty (10/5): Great stay at the Jasmine House! - A lovely place to stay in Charleston. We were able to walk to restaurants, the Market, & our sunset cruise dock. The front porch was a fun place to sit & people watch. The back patio was quiet & secluded.
Great breakfasts & the daily happy hour was wonderful! I really appreciated the sparkling water & in room treats of chips, nuts, benne crackers. No complaints….
- Phillip (7/5): This was a great place to stay if you want to be within walking distance of everything. - Great location right in the middle of restaurants, shopping, and attractions. Parking was in the lot right across the street from the hotel. Beautiful building. elevator was out of service, door locks were insufficient and not in good working order.
- Galen (9/5): Superb -
- Mary Alice (10/5): Couples Getaway. - The Jasmine House is a beautiful place to stay if you want a place to stay with history, and everyday comfort. Loved sitting on the big front porch for happy hour and the serenity of the patio for morning coffee. It was easily walkable to the downtown. Restaurants were plentiful…shopping downtown was lovely.

- dje93 (10/5): Elegant manor house - We stayed downstairs (Room 101, I think) in the main house. The room was beautifully appointed and very large. We were not expecting to stay here (we had booked the sister property Indigo Inn but the reservation did not go through - Kenneth at the Indigo front desk offered us this upgraded option for no extra charge) but we loved the charms of the Jasmine House. My only caution is that the room we were in was sometimes noisy, as it was downstairs, next to the porch and the entrance area. Other than that, we enjoyed the convenient parking nearby, the multiple restaurants within walking distance, the ability to walk anywhere else that we wanted. Wifi was excellent. Breakfast was good with many options, just not hot food (it was described as continental breakfast, but offered far more options than that.)
- HawaiianTraveler3 (8/5): Quiet, small hotel with some plus and minuses. - Small, quaint boutique hotel. Thin walls. Basic continental breakfast with few gluten free options. Wine and cheese but some cheese was old, stale. Part of sister hotel, so check in process and finding room across street was strange. No one at this location to greet you or point you to room, which is challenging if you arrive at night. The staff we did see was friendly and they provided complimentary water. Convenient location and parking.
- Juanita (10/5): - Beautiful rooms and conveniently located to everything.
- Melissa (10/5): - I rented the suite on the top floor during a birthday weekend celebrating 2 friends. It was convenient, very spacious, and beautifully decorated with antiques and many vintage details intact. I felt like I was staying in a nice apartment instead of a hotel. The suite has a completely updated kitchen that works well with the decor but is bright and refurbished like new. We all enjoyed the cocktail hour and breakfasts. I highly recommend the Jasmine House!
- Mary (10/5): One of the best places that I stayed at in Charleston. - My husband were in Charleston for 1 night and booked at the Jasmine house. Our stay was wonderful. The front desk staff was exceptional. They offer a wine and cheese cocktail hour as well as a continental breakfast in the morning which far exceeded any continental breakfast that I've had elsewhere. The room and bathroom were spacious, clean with the right decor for such an historical building. We will definitely stay here again the next time we are in Charleston. There wasn't anything that I didn't like. Stay was perfect.
