Det er måske min egen skyld at jeg valgte at bo der i lav sæsonen så der blev bygget om og et nyt hus. Det gjorde, at man skulle acceptere en masse byggestøj. Det tror jeg ikke at der er i høj sæsonen.

- Nichola (8/5): Great stay at Mnarani - Staff were lovely. Rooms were excellent. We had a bungalow with a mezzanine as a family of 4 and it was perfect. Nice pool. Lots of hammocks and sunbeds on the deck. Lovely view. It's about a 20 min walk to the main bit of nungwi. I expected we'd walk without issue when booking but it's just so hot we didn't. Easy enough to get a taxi or tuk tuk but obviously adds to the cost. Bonus is its peaceful and like a little oasis away from it all. There are a few restaurants a short walk away. Swimming in the sea only at high tide and not suitable for small kids. They were happy with the pool or you can go to nungwi beach.

Paguei por um quarto com vista do mar mas o queme entregaram nao ti ha a vista que vi nas fotos,,paguei o dobro de outras opções, nao tinha TV,máquina de cafe,nao deram garrafas de agua diariamente apos a limpeza dos quartos. Não havia entretenimento noturno, estavam a fazer obras logo cedo. O pequeno almoço era das 7h30 até as 9h30 e quando chegamos pelas 9 horas,nao repunham alguns alimentos! Nao gostei porque faltou muito pelo valor pedido. Um hotel destes tem que ter mais qualidade na oferta ao cliente. Faltou alguma simpatia perante alguns funcionários.

The room was very big and spacious and the morning views of the ocean from the balcony were serene. The WiFi only worked outside my room. I also did not like the limited breakfast options.

- Fabio (6/5): Per fortuna è vicino a Kendwa forse la spiaggia più bella di Zanzibar - La gentilezza del personale ed in particolare di Margaret su tutti; la pulizia era quotidiana con cambio di asciugamani compreso; il personale e la gentilezza su tutto in questa struttura Pensavamo di andare in un posto dove ci fosse la spiaggia vicina come testimoniato dalle foto…. In realtà la spiaggia è molto piccola ciò che è enorme è lo spazio che si crea con l’alta e bassa marea…. Il fondale è di roccia dura per cui importanti le scarpette anche perchè è pieno di ricci.

No check out, ao pagar a conta na opção cartão, fui cobrada a mais pela taxa da maquina do cartão.

- Caroline (10/5): En väldigt lyckad semester som var mer än vi kunde önska. Till detta hotell kommer vi väldigt gärna igen. - Bästa läget i Nungwi! 1,5 km in till shopping. Fin del på stranden med bad. Lugnt och skönt. Tryggt med vakterna och otroligt trevlig personal. Extra guldstjärna till Andrew i baren för sina goda drinkar och Mwajuma som alltid var kärleksfull mot våra små tjejer. Fräsch pool och väldigt fin villa. Hotellvärdinnan löste vårt problem med hård säng så fort vi sa till. Villan på två plan var varm på övre plan trots AC och fläkt, som tyvärr lät ganska högt.

- Giorgio (10/5): Tranquillità, natura, cortesia e rapporti umani. - Dall’accoglienza di tutto il personale alla posizione sul mare, tutto è stato perfetto per rendere piacevole il lungo periodo di vacanza (4 settimane) che abbiamo trascorso con mia moglie. In particolare vorrei segnalare l’umanità e la professionalità di Nassor e Margaret, i due manager addetti alla gestione della ristorazione e servizi e delle relazioni con i clienti. Va detto che è la seconda vacanza che trascorriamo a Mnarani Cottages dopo quella di tre settimane nel gennaio 2025, a dimostrazione di quanto sia stato gradevole il soggiorno. Stiamo già pensando a ritornare il prossimo gennaio. Assolutamente nulla di negativo da segnalare

- Konstantin (5/5): Etwas in die Jahre gekommen - Die Hotelanlage liegt wunderschön direkt am Wasser und bietet Zugang zu einem eher ruhigen Strandabschnitt, der bei Hochwasser allerdings vollständig überflutet wird. Positiv hervorzuheben ist der Balkon unseres Zimmers mit einer wunderbaren Hängematte. Insgesamt ist die Anlage etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Das Essen konnte uns leider überhaupt nicht überzeugen, und auch die Sauberkeit der Zimmer ließ deutlich zu wünschen übrig – sowohl der Fußboden als auch die Badarmaturen waren verschmutzt.

- SARAH MARTINEZ (1/5): Way way overpriced and terrible - Nothing! Everything - Rundown - awful! We had booked two rooms in what was termed a 'sharing apartment'. If we had been booking one room only, it would have been more apparent that the apartment was shared with others... as we were booking more than one room, the assumption was we were sharing the apartment between us, this was not made at all clear in the description, it was very ambiguous unless you were booking one room. The rooms were very unpleasant -stark and dark. My daughter had just changed into her swim ware when the occupier of the other room walked in to the living area. (we had thought his bedroom door was a door to the back of the building not another room ) my daughter moments before had been without any clothes on with bedroom door open, so it was quite a shock to find a strange man walking in. The window of our room looked out on a service apartment, its windows were stacked high with stuff, balcony was full of debris and fencing in disrepair. Electrics went off for long periods leaving no air-con and very limited ventilation. We cancelled our stay with no compliance from the hotel as there wasn't even a member of staff qualified to respond to our complaint - Managers day off! Booking.Com were very helpful. The grounds were very run down, decking over the sea (at high tide) was poorly maintained - over painted many time in dark brown looking jaded and unsafe. Everything was dark and tired in the way of decor, from the buildings painted a mustard yellow to concrete path ways painted in blue and red with curb stones painted black and yellow in places looking like a crumbling race track. The pool area was dangerous with the filter cover broken so badly you could have broken an ankle down it, painted edge to pool was flaking off. Tarpaulin was pinned up to keep the sea spray out of the bar, not a proper windbreak, just a blue tarpaulin strapped on to the side making it look like a building site. Really awful. Great breakfast with plenty of choice! Good price for value. Bed was slightly small, the toilets in the common areas could be better maintained. A személyzet végig nagyon kedves volt. A szoba berendezése kissé elavult, de a klíma működik és ez a lényeg. Kicsit messzebb Nungwi nyüzsgőbb részétől, de cserébe csendes.

- Katie (6/5): Get a better system for bar tabs and don’t bang aggressively on people’s door very kate at night - Absolutely gorgeous, beautiful rooms and views. There was an issue with our bar tab. I tried several times to make sure it was straight (they have to sent the tabs to the front desk which is where you pay. Would be easier to just have a card reader at the bar). Before dinner went back to the bar to settle the bill before it went to the front desk. When they read it, I let them know they had left off a few items. I watched the bartender write them on the tab. Later we went to settle the bill at the front desk and went to sleep as we were being picked up for a tour at 450 am. After falling asleep, at almost 10 at night someone started BANGING on our door, waking us up. I got up to check but couldn’t see anything through the frosted glass and when I called out “who is it” no one answered. I got back in bed and a few minutes later the banging continued. My husband got up to take care of it and they continued to bang very aggressively on the door. It was actually pretty scary. My husband answered and it was an employee coming saying that the tab was wrong. They didn’t even bring a card reader, they wanted him to get dressed and walk all the way to the front desk (not a short distance) to amend it. He informed them that they woke us up and we had tried multiple times to make sure the check was right and at this point the error was on them. And we would pay when we came down at 450, which of course they didn’t want bc they would be sleeping (though they woke us up). I feel this this was egregious behavior, especially after trying to make sure the tab was right multiple times and the starling wake up made it very difficult to get back to sleep and I didn’t sleep much and had a very bad headache the next day because of it. I think this place needs to find a better way to handle things like this

The breakfast was so so basic,, the beach, Wi-Fi is not working, there was no water until I asked and also amount of water is not enough and you need to go restaurant to refill by yourself, the safe locker wasn't working until I asked them to fix it. When I asked for late checkout the receptionist told me it's possible if they don't have booking so they need to confirm in the early morning on same day and when I went there there was another receptionist and told me totally different story and asked for 10$ for each hour so I had to negotiate with him to make it just till 1 pm for free. The point here is different policy feedback even the written policy is totally different. Also there is no electric socket near the kettle. Long story short, from price versus quality, it's overrated.
- DvirAtias (9/5): A beautiful and peaceful place with incredibly kind staff who go the extra mile to make you feel at - The staff were truly amazing! We first booked only one night, but loved it so much that we wanted to stay longer. Our original room was already booked, but the team went above and beyond to find us a similar one — they even convinced other guests to switch rooms so we could stay in a room with a hammock on the balcony, just like before. They also moved all our luggage for us, making the whole change completely seamless. The hotel itself is lovely, with many cozy corners to sit, relax, and enjoy the beautiful ocean view. The snorkeling team was also super friendly and helped organize a great trip directly from the beach! The breakfast was quite disappointing — very basic and not diverse, with limited options and no fresh vegetables.
